Vatican claim Pontiff determined to avoid ‘cult of personality’ like that enjoyed by John Paul II
At the age of 76 he became a household name and a magazine cover star.
But Pope Francis is apparently desperate to avoid becoming a celebrity – he has ordered the removal of a new life-size statue of him in Buenos Aires cathedral.
Since its installation two weeks ago believers visited the statue in the cathedral’s garden to pay homage to the pontiff, while tourists posed for photos alongside it.
But Francis, formerly Archbishop of the Argentine capital, was reportedly horrified at the news.
He got straight on the phone and had strong words with the priest responsible telling him: ‘Get that thing down, immediately’, the Argentinian newspaper Clarin reported.

Church sources told the newspaper that Francis is determined to avoid creating ‘a cult of personality’ like that enjoyed by John Paul II.
Since his election in March, Francis has gone to lengths to be seen as humble, showing little patience for the pomp and fuss that come with his position as head of the world’s 1.2 billion Catholics.

My comment:
We do not know for sure, if the present Pope just had one of those bad days. Or if he seriously want to start a campaign to remove idols from Catholic Churches and shrines.
If He want to get statues of the Popes removed, he faces an uphill task. Because the Earth is filled with statues of the last two Popes. Lets take a look on some pictures:
An idol of Pope John Paul II in Rome receives "holy water".

After seeing all this pictures, it is impossible to take the present Pope seriously. The claimed “Holy Roman Catholic Church” seems to be beyond repair. The claimed to be infallible Popes seems to be very mush fallible.
John Paul II accepted statues to be raised of him, and so did Benedict. Why this angry attitude from Francis?
Francis him self is about to make the “personal cultic” John Paul II a saint. Could it be that the late Pope was not a man worthy of “sainthood”?
Nevertheless, I agree that the statue of Francis in Buenos Aires should be removed and demolished. To be sure that the spirit that agreed to this idolatry vanishes, please burn all the remains of wood and clay.
And please demolish the idol that stands next to the Pope, also. Idolatry in the form of “Pope statues” are no different from statues of the “Queen of Heaven”.  If you believe that both the Pope, and the mother of Jesus, are created beings, you should not form any statues of them, neither kiss them, bow down before them.
Just read the second commandment, and obey.
Genesis 20:4
‘ You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.  You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. Its your choice,
if you want to define your self among the people God will have to punish, those who hate the truth.

Sun and crescent moon manifested in the Roman Catholic Eucharist

http://ivarfjeld.com/2013/07/13/sun-and-crescent-moon-manifested-in-the-roman-catholic-eucharist/

The Pope lifts up an ancient symbol of the sun god, carried by a gold piece formed like the crescent moon. In Ancient Egypt, this was a symbol of the Mother of gods, Isis.

The Pope has mixed ancient Egyptian paganism into a Catholic doctrine.
If you look carefully, you can you see the crescent moon in gold, holding up the round wafer inside the ring.
Let see what happens when the Islamic crescent moon gets the sun shining in the center of the image.

Have you ever seen this gold image of the goddess Isis, the Egyptian mother of gods? Please take a good look.

An ancient Egyptian image of Isis, the wife of the sun god and Mother of gods. She holds up the sun in the form of a pearl, carried by the crescent moon.
The Pope needs to bow before the sun and the crescent moon. One way of doing so, is to lift the gold stand over his head.

This is the gold stand that the Pope needs to keep up high. The crescent moon is there. Only the sun is missing.

The present Pope perform the religious ritual.
If it is true that the Roman Catholic Church is not a Biblical Church, the falsehood of its priesthood will manifest it self in all kinds of pagan practices.
I have not paid to much attention about secret signs, and codes that will expose the Vatican. But after Jesus of the Bible gave me some vital information about the religious ritual of the Eucharist, I have to admit that we need to pay attention.
Because the World Council of Churches and Rome are seriously debating how to come back into full communion in regards to the “Eucharist Celebration”.
First:
There is absolutely no verses in the Bible that demands the bread in the last supper to be anything but an oven colored and shaped Jewish bread, blessed and broken by Jesus and shared at the table. It was the fellowship around the bread of life (The Word) and blood (His crucifixion) that was Jesus gift of eternal life to those who obey Him.
Second:
The Catholic priesthood has made breaking of physical bread, into a alter ritual around a pre-manufactured wafer. On the alter, they put this wafer into a strange gold stand, called the monstrance. The priest than lift the round wafer host in the holder above his head.
Afterwords the faithful are invited to eat the wafer. But very few have a clue about what exactly the priest have done at the alter.
Who does this gold strand represent?
Why put a bright white wafer inside a ring of gold?
And what kind of arrangements holds the host inside the ring?
May the following images be able to open your heart for the truth about the Vatican.
If Rome only had included Egyptian paganism and Islamic symbolism in the Catholic Eucharist, some people could have defended this. They might tell you: “In the Catholic Eucharist we have a symbolic victory over the old ancient religions, and have Christianized them”.
That’s fine. But that is not what the Roman Catholic Church have done.
They have to the radical opposite included the Queen of Heaven into this ritual. Expressed by this nine feet tall image of Catholic Mary in a Roman Catholic Church in Chicago. Here Catholic Mary is in the center of the Eucharist, where both she and her heart is presented as the host. The bread of life.

Like a Buddha she sits, on top of the crescent moon. St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Chicago.

Here the Eucharist host is a part of the glory of the Queen of Heaven.

Egyptian Mother of gods, holding the sun as her crown. The crescent moon later become the very image of Islam.
Because of the striking similarities, we need to know more about who this goddess Isis is, and what she is doing. Because a billion souls might get lost, because of their participation.

Isis holds up the sun, and she is married to the sun god Osiris.
This Egyptian goddess Isis also has a son, who mistakenly looks like the Madonna and child, promoted in Catholicism as “Mary with baby Jesus”.

Egyptian Isis, holding up the sun, with baby Horus in her hand.
And as this ancient Egyptian sculpture exposes, the Mother of gods was accepted into Catholicism.

The mother of gods, nurses her baby child.

Isis the Mother of Gods, and Catholic Mary the Mother of god. The merger took place in 431 A.D.
Some Catholic priest also carry the Eucharist host on their shoulders, where an image of Catholic Mary again is at the center of the ritual.

A parade of the Eucharist host, with an image of Catholic Mary in the center.
Catholic priests also stands and pray in front of the Eucharist host, venerating, adoring or worship this image. This is the perfect merger of paganism and Catholicism.

The sun and moon revered in a ritual, where Jesus is promoted to be physically present inside the ring.

The same image in Islam. A religion who reduces Jesus to a great prophet.
This is the image on top of the Faisal Mosque in Islamabad, Pakistan.

The crescent moon, the sign of Islam
Let people who are not completely spiritually blinded be able to understand.

I enjoyed this article. I was raised Catholic but can’t stand very much of the Church anymore. ‘THE AGE OF FAITH’ by Will Durant is an excellent source of add-on policy by the Church, bitchless priests, Mary, others.

Today, I will rejoice over a cup of good coffee. Because I have been able to bless you.

      Mr. McLaughlin,
We praise the Lord for using Mr. ivarfjeld to help open your eyes (and heart) to the ‘truth’ about this cult, and hopefully and prayerfully you Will “come out of her” (Revelation 18:4-9, verse 4 the main verse), NOW. We pray that you will “hear His voice” and follow His lead, while continuing to pray for ‘deliverance’ for those ‘still caught up in that system’. Take care and God bless.

Thank Ivar for this article. When i first came to understand the moon/sun relationship and also how closely this ties in Islam, I was astonished. You see I was a BELIEVING Catholic and a promoting Catholic who studied Catholic apologetics wanting to convert other Christians to the “one true Church.”
You can not deny the Isis connection here.
I can only thank my Savior, for pulling me out of the RCC. It’s only by His Grace was I about to have eyes that see.
The truth of the Isis connection which is Baal worship escapes Catholics all together. This really needs to get out. I’m going to have to post your story on my blog.
    Thanks, brother.
    • ivarfjeld says:
      Dear Sue.
Shalom, love in Jesus the Messiah.
You just blessed me. I have blessed Matt today. Just read his comment. It has in deed been a blessed day.

        Dear all my readers.
Shalom, and love in Jesus the Messiah.
I have a link on the right side column to Nugget Net, who brings to this blog hundreds of readers every week. He also links up Sueliz blog. I know He is a believing Catholic.
Since Saturday, I have exposed the truth about deep secrets inside the Vatican. My Nugget net brother has been reluctant to link up the stories. But today, He has linked up the Eucharist exposure.
I hope and pray, Lord Jesus, that you finally have opened the eyes of this brother of mine. Amen.
  5. sueliz1 says:
    Ivar,
Are you saying the person who runs Nugget news is a Catholic? That would be a huge surprise to me.
    • ivarfjeld says:
      Dear Sue.
He was is a debate with me some time back. He is an open minded person.
      • ivarfjeld says:
        Dear Sue.
        Shalom.
The issue is: Who is a Catholic? What makes you a Catholic, and how many Catholic doctrines do you have to disagree with, before you no longer will be a Catholic?
This is quite a chaotic matter.
  6. sueliz1 says:
I am surprised because Nugget is rapture-minded and the RCC does NOT believe in the rapture. Plus, I’m shocked he posts all my stuff too if he is Catholic. God bless him. Let’s agree to pray for him this week. Okay?
    • Jules says:
You don’t know what you are talking about. Let the theologians and bible scholars speak. Please stop spreading misinformation.
  7. sueliz1 says:
If you are a cultural Catholic you don’t know much about dogma and are in the church because your family is in the church. If you don’t believe in Assumption of Mary, you are anathama. Most Catholics are cafeteria Catholics, picking and choosing what suits them. I was a serious rule abiding Catholic. Even if your are cultural, I find it surprising you would post anti-Catholic stuff on your site.
    • ivarfjeld says:
      Dear Sue.
Shalom, and thanks for this insight.
Rome will claim: People who “attacks” the papal system, are anti-Catholics. And in the last days, there will be attacks on the true Church. This is a fulfillment of Biblical prophecies.
You see. This is a mirroring of the truth. The lies that are told by Vatican priest are often to close to the truth, that only The Holy Ghost can expose them.
But a millimeter lie is still very much: A lie.
      • sueliz1 says:
Ivar, I didn’t mean YOUR sit, but Nugget’s site. I’m surprised the stories they post if they are Catholic..cafeteria or otherwise.
      • ivarfjeld says:
        Sue
I understood you message. But I do not spam attacks on my faith. It is a Biblical prophecy, that I will be persecuted. A Catholic site can publish attacks on the Papal system, as a similar belief that such attacks are fulfillment of Biblical prophecies.
I feel we have to wait for our friend on Nugget net to answer our questions. He holds the key.
  8. sueliz1 says:
    Ivar,
I understand you, but the site is very rapture focused, with makes no sense if you are a catholic site.
I hope our friend does answer our questions. Until then, let’s pray.
    • ivarfjeld says:
      Dear all my readers.
I have wronged the editor of Nugget Net. Please forgive me. I have no reason to believe He has ever been, or is a believing Catholic.
Jesus of Nazareth. Please forgive me. I have sinned against you, and a brother of mine.
  9. sueliz1 says:
    Now I’m totally confused.

Lady Time was originally commenting on a story about Viking paganism in Norway. That she did not enjoy our exchange of viewpoints, its understandable.

are you saying that islam and christianity were waved out of paganism threads…
this is a shame lie, dont lie to yourselves and go read your original Torah(if it still exists) rather than the modern version Torah that your priests have messed with, you will find in it predictions about the coming of a prophet -(Mohammed صلى الله عليه و سلم )- with a new religion but the Jewish people just couldn’t swallow their ego about the prophet being send in the arabic nation.

    Why the eucharist is false…
    Hebrews 7:26-27
He is the kind of high priest we need because he is holy and blameless, unstained by sin. He has been set apart from sinners and has been given the highest place of honor in heaven. Unlike those other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices every day. They did this for their own sins first and then for the sins of the people. But Jesus did this once for all when he offered himself as the sacrifice for the people’s sins.
  16. Proud2BCatholic says:
Okay, first of all, Catholic doctrine doesn’t profess that Jesus is “physically” present in the Eucharist, but rather “truly, really and substantially” as per the Council of Trent. There’s a difference.
As for the reference to Hebrews, above, the Sacrifice of the Mass doesn’t offer “a new sacrifice every day,” According to the CCC, the sacrifice of Christ and the sacrifice of the Eucharist are one single sacrifice” (CCC, 1367). Thus, Mass is not a “re-sacrifice” but a “re-presentation” of the sacrifice. And when we say that the Mass is a re-presentation of the one sacrifice of Christ, it does not mean that Christ is crucified repeatedly. It means that his sacrifice is made present. To re-present means to make present.
    • sueliz1 says:
      Dear Proud,
      Peace and love in Jesus.
The RCC took transubstantian mainly from the teachings of Thomas Aquinas. Aquinas used Aristoles theory of “accidents”. Aristitole was a greek pagan. But the RCC, took his false scientific theory and applied it to communion. Even now, the theory of accidents has been proven false in the scientific world.
Please look to Judaism for our root base.Jewish disciples would never ever bow down to bread and agree to drink blood. This is against the Torah, specifically Leviticus in which the Jews were told to never drink blood.
      Leviticus 17:14
14 The life of every creature is in its blood. That is why I have said to the people of Israel, ‘You must never eat or drink blood, for the life of any creature is in its blood.’ So whoever consumes blood will be cut off from the community.

Our Lord does not want us to eat him in baked goods to receive life. He wants us to surrender our lives to Him, accepting His once for all atonement for our sins and be born again.
      Blessings.
      Sue
  17. sueliz1 says:
    Dear Proud,
If there is ONE incarnation (God made flesh), you know that is Jesus sitting at the right hand of the Father. How is it He is body, blood, soul and divinity in a piece of bread on earth? Millions of bread wafers around the world..which would be more than ONE incarnation.
When Jesus ascended into heaven He said He would leave us the Holy Spirit in the place of His physical absence. He did not say He would be staying on earth in a piece of bread to go into the stomach. A piece of bread that needs to be protected with human hands. A piece of bread that can spoil and mold.
Since believers already have the Holy Spirit inside of them, why would they need to have MORE Jesus as flesh inside of them?
Jesus was not speaking about real flesh.
The Jewish disciples did not worship a bread. They shared a PASSOVER SEDER meal.
  18. M Bwr says:
You should not talk about what you do not understand.
If you do not have any beleif in this sacrament, the least you could do is keep a respectful silence, but despising and criticizing for no obvious reason, why? What if it were true and Jesus Christ were really present in that Eucharist, how would you react to that? How would you be able to recant all the diffamation and accusations you spread on this page.
Wheither or not Jesus is present in the Eucharist, it would be best for you to remain silent.
    Someone who means well,
    • philmayo7909 says:
M Bwr, I will answer your question, even though it was obviously rhetorical.
The reason why we speak out against this and other false doctrine is because evil abounds when good people stay silent.
  19. abo hady says:
Stop mixing Islam with Crescent and Moon, the Turks Ottoman chose the crescent as their symbol, other Muslims Nations imitated them. Muslims worship God the creator of this Universe. God has no father, no mother, no son and no daughter.
Why are you worshiping Jesus?, Jesus was a human being like Adam (without a father).
    • philmayo7909 says:
      abo hady,
Your Islamic scholars study the Hebrew scriptures because they believe your prophet is the last of a line that began there.
One of the names for God used by those prophets was Elohim. The last two letters ‘im’ denote plurality. That is to say whilst God is one, he is also more than one person. Father, Son and Holy spirit. Rather like we are body, soul and spirit. (God created us in his image)
The prophet Isaiah confirmed this when he foretold the coming of Jesus Christ.
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” [Isaiah 9:6]
It is this plurality of God that is misunderstood by both Jew and Muslim.
I pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will reveal this truth to you, and that you will receive him as your saviour.
      God’s blessing to you.

“… before going to bed, I took my Bible as usual, knelt down before God, in the neat little room I occupied in the bishop’s palace, and read the twelfth chapter of Matthew, with a praying heart and a sincere desire to understand it, and be benefited thereby. Strange to say! when I reached the 40th verse, I felt a mysterious awe, as if I had entered for the first time into a new and most holy land…”

This is just mind boggling. I was never known as an RC basher, but that was in living in ignorance of all this. Thanks Ivar for putting your name on the line to expose this.
    • Its not a mandatory aspect of RC to believe in this stuff. A lot of it is to supplant local lore where-ever the church is performing the Mass. The Jews would adorn the dead, for centuries they did. Worshiped snakes and golden calves. Now its casino owners that entrap Gentiles with vice, then turn-around and back Mitt Romney who against his Mormon belief has embraced Israel as the true Zion. And a ‘Jewish state’ of all things? Mitt, the Mormons don’t take sides in the Israeli/non-Israeli conflict. If the GOP wants a Zionist candidate, GO OUT AND GET HAL LINDSEY or HUCKABEE. But to spend so much time trying to make a purse out of a sow’s ear by attempting to make a Mormon into another TV-evangelical (tuck in your ‘love-gift’ gang!) is lame-oh.

Our concern, here, isn’t any political candidate, it’s helping to inform and save the lost and bring back those whose walk has taken a turn toward darkness.

      Ozan,
Please read the Holy Word of God. The more important thing is denouncing Islam, and accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior for he comes soon. Islam was built on lies and violence, and only leads you to hell.
Romans 10:9 Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
      John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Revelation 21:8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
  32. greg says:
Actually not a bad presentation, you just short a coupke of more pertinent facts. Constantine converted to christianity right? Anyway you need to ask yourself what did he convert from, the answer my friend is “Sol Invictus” or “Mithraism”. Mithras was born of a virgin mother, on the 25th December, was also a teacher with 12 disciples. Also apparently performed miracles etc. Sounds something like christianity doesn’t it? Also had holy water etc. All the early christians under constantine seem to have really done is change the names. Mithraism seems ti have come to rome from persia and taken hold there, especially with the warrior class. So you have the bible on one hand, and paganism on the other, and so a compromise was reached. Mithras was a sun god yes. So if you celebrate christmas on the 25th of december, you yourself are a pagan then surely? Do you celebrate easter? The catholic church actually took that one from the early british pagan festival of eostre, a futility celebration. So if you celebrate easter you are then a pagan surely? By your own standards of your own article. Have you never read the bible where it states judge not lest you be judged? Who gave you the right to judge the catholic church? They did after all bring christianity to the world. Even protestant religions, originally stem from catholicism after all, where else did martin luther come from but from being a member of the catholic church? Now its obvious from your article you have issues with the catholics, I suggest that you look in the mirror first and make sure you are just and pure of heart and mind before casting stones. The catholics will answer to God at the day of reckoning, and that is between God and them, you however are not God. So if you are a christian, where did the roots of your christianity stem from if not the catholic church? And so you change what you don’t like about the catholic church and create your own church, but the fact remains your beliefs still stem from catholicism doesn’t it? So by saying catholics are wrong are you not in essence saying that christianity is wrong? The catholics did after compile the Holy Bible didn’t they. Anyway there is a different point of view for you to think upon. You don’t believe me? Check ouyt Mithraism on the net, the catholics wiped them out as heretics. Maybe you think you are descended from the cathars, aka the good christians? Let me know where your christianity stems from and I shall be happy to see if uit is pagan free

      Greg,
I don’t know who you are directing your long statement to.
But the Word of God tells us:
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.
So exposing the Roman catholic church of their lies, their disgusting idolatry of bones and statues, their praising of man-the pope, in hopes that some will leave this horrific cult and accept Christ, repenting from their sins, well that is what Jesus wants us to do.
      • greg says:
So gloria do you celebrate christmas or easter? If so you indulge in pagan worship don’t you?
      • Gloria says:
        Greg,
I will answer your questions. When Thanksgiving comes around (as well as everyday) I give thanks to the Lord. When Christmas comes around, I give thanks and praise to God for Jesus Christ. When the ridiculous Easter comes around, I thanks the LORD for all he’s done (as well as other days), dying on the cross for you and me, for his resurrections, and for the fact that he comes soon.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

I am aware of what you speak..There is a reason why Jesus birth date was put on Dec 25 and the meaning behind Easter…All Pagan dates and times . She calls your post long but in truth there is alot of meat to it and room for alot of research if she was willing….I had to research this topic in my first year in my spiritual school…ahh all those months on that paper! but it was worth it!

        Hi Joyce
Thanks for the reply, I have been reading up on the origins of christianity, and have found that the more you read up on it, the more that one needs to read up on it. I know Jesus said that in order to believe a person needs the faith of a 5 year old, then again, why did God give us a brain with which to reason? The 25th december was mithras birth date according to mithraism, aka Sol Invictus, because of the sun. Like I said earlier, with the conversion of Rome to christianity, all that powers in control really did was change the names. So you in a spiritual school, is that like a religious training program? Excuse my ignorance, I live in africa and just want to make sure I understand you properly. Thanks

Greg….You have bean fed lies,The roman catholic cult did not compile my origeonal KJV Bible , in fact they hate the WORD of GOD and that is why they premote their books, the so called NIV and NASB ,both these books have changed or completely left out the WORD of GOD eg:LUKE 4:8 Get thee behind me Satan….and there are many more…. why does the roman catholic cult base its scripts on the Vaticanus and Sinaiticus manoscripts full of flaws and dug up out from the rubish where they should have remained. Here is a direct quote from a jesuit meeting in Cheri Italy in 1825 this is proof that this Satanic cult disguises its true motive behind a vail of good intentions ! so come on Greg if you want the truth,..first you have to give up your pride ………… HE is waiting.

      • greg says:
Wahahahaha dean if you don’t know what you are talking about, SHUT UP. KJV was translated from where? You idiot, it was translated from the latin. The latin in case you didn’t know was from Italy, Rome. So until you have genuine facts go back to your pit. And please don’t quote the bible to me, I can read it on my own and interpret it more realistically than your bigoted onbe eyed view. Just saying dude, check out your facts before getting involved in something where the facts are quite easy to ascertain. Just go google origins of the christian bible and see what you get.
      • dean kevin heyes says:
That is incorrect ! the KJV 1st testoment was directly translated from the origenal Hebrew scripts , and the 2nd testoment was directly translated from the origenal Greek scripts “Textus Receptus” with an acuracy of 95%, when referancing other sources ,as some are missing …… Greg has made the misstake of refering to the” NEW KJV” which was rewritten by Westcott and Hort useing the latin Vaticanus and Sinaiticus texts… these are extremely inacurate and that is why they were origenaly binned by early Christians . Why the Roman catholics, knowing these scripts to be flawed , then chose to commision two atheists to re-write our Bible , giveing them total control over the detail of GODS WORDS begs beleif !

      Shalom.
You are a sinner, hopelessly disconnected from a Holy God.
When you die, you will face your creator. He is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus is the Son. He took your place on the cross, and shed his blood for your sins. If you accept Him, you will not perish and face eternity in Hell.
I love you enough to tell you the truth. Mercy and grace is still available. Seek God while He still can be found.

      • greg says:
So Dean you are convinced the bible is right? But the catholics compiled the bible, now if they compiled the bible, you shouldn’t be following the teachings of the bible should you? Now lambast the catholics as much as you like, but remember if they are wrong as you claim, then DO NOT follow the teachings of the bible that they compiled. Don’t forget that they conveniently didn’t put some gospels into the bible because they showed peter in a less than perfect light. Just a suggestion hey.
      • Gloria says:
        Greg,
The catholics did not make the Bible. It was written by men under the direction of the Holy Spirit.
I don’t think you are here to learn about Christ. I think you are here to try and twist God’s message, and to try and say the Roman Catholic church are right in everything.
They are not! There idolatry, kissing dead bones, praying to saints that do not existing. The Bible is clear on this.
Exodus 20:3-6 “You shall have no other gods before me. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
I doubt you are here to learn, but instead you are protecting a group of people who have made a mockery of the Word of God.
      • greg says:
Okay Dean where does your bible complete the gospel of mark? As it originally stood and I quote Laurence Gardner here from the Magdelene Legacy, pg 106, ” as it originally stood, Mark 16:8 concluded the Gospel with Mary Magdelene and the other women departing from Jesus’ empty tomb. The extra verses were added to perform two specific functions. The spurious Mark 16:9 is a strategic reminder of Mary’s ‘seven devils’ as referenced in Luke 8:2. In fact, it is the only other biblical reference in this connection, but has the effect of diminishing Mary’s status at this crucial stage of the proceedings. Against this, in the equally spuriious Mark 16:15, the resurrected Jesus instructs his male apostles:’Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature’. Once again, this manoeuvres Mary Magdelene and the women successfully out of the evangelical picture so as to claim back the male prerogative of the movement.”
In direct contrast to this additional narrative , it was reveled quite recently that a substantial portion concerning Mary Magdelene, Martha and the rasing of Lazarus had been removed from the Gospel of Mark before its inclusion in the New Testament.”
Now to page 130 of the same book, this is how the gospels were selected and I quote:” the New testament, as we know it, began to take shape in AD367 when a library of writings was sifted and collated ready for selection. This initial part of the process was carried out by Bishop Athanasius of Alexandria, who invented the term canon (approved law) and subsequently became known as the Father of Orthidoixy. Prior to this there had been no formally compiled book of the faith, just a series of individual Christian texts which had their greater or lessor popularities in various partts of the Roman Empire.
From the Athanasius shortlist, certain works were approved and ratified by the council of Hippo in AD393, and by the Council of Catrhage in AD 397. There were, nevertheless, various criteria which governed the selection – the first being that the Gospels chosen for the New Testament must be written in the names of (or attributed to) Jesus’ own apostles. But this ruling appears to have been disregarded from the outset, and the four Gospels that emerged for approved canonical use were thos of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
According to the apostolic lists given in the New Testament, Matthew and John were indeed aposotles of Jesus. But Mark and Luke were not.”
Anyway there is an entire section in this book on the compilation of the bible by the Roman Catholic Church and how they perverted it.
The book also touches lightly upon the dead scrolls which have been used to verify parts of the bible.
Anyway hope you actually check out the facts properly on the compilation of the Holy Bible.
Just so you understand this very well, Laurence Gardner is also the author of Bloodline of the Holy Grail, Realm of the Ring Lords, Genesis of the Grail kings and lost secrets of the Sacred Ark. He is also a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, is a constitutional historian, and Proffessional Member of the Institute of Nanotechnology. Distinguished as the Chevalier de St. Germain, he is attached to the European Council of Princes as the Jacobite Historiographer Royal. Etc etc etc .
So please I do my research and don’t thumb suck statements. If you would like I will quote from other works as well, and will enjoy doing it because I do love researching the origins of religions.
Thanks and God Bless if you ever finished reading what I have mostly quoted here.

Deuteronomy 18:9-12 “When you come into the land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord. And because of these abominations the Lord your God is driving them out before you.
Galatians 5:20-21 Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
      • greg says:
Actually not gloria, I have been seeking God for a long time. I didn’t say the catholics wrote the bible, I said they compiled it, go ask any neutral scholar about that, or google it even, the catholics put together what criteria the writings had to comply with for the text to go into the bible. That’s a fact and not a question of faith either.

Its her way or noo way, its her truth that matters..mind that is soo closed nothing else can get in there. It fies on something and stay there, sad really! All she does is quote. quote, quote!
Not open to learning anything from others. In truth, I personally dont care where she is concern. But this I do know, she doesnt know everything, she dosent have all the answers, she believes her way is the only way, I know better than that! lol…Study and learn about the start of all faiths and see where her’s came from..All she interested in is trying to convert someone to her way and blind and deaf to anything else that is different from hers
..Sad really but ok! There is noo respect for other Faiths but her own! I learned how to deal with some like her.. Respect all, because there is something to learn about each including hers and by all means please study and research..In truth there is a smile on my face when I reply or when she reply to one of my post…She is going to do the same old thing quote!
She is wasting her energy where I am concern, I still respect all faiths, she isnt all christians(thank the Gods), There are alot of sites where all from different faiths get together and discuss and learn,,some debates ohh yes:).. but very interesting, exchanging ideas..Gloria will be ok..she is what she is, is all!! Dont take nothing to heart, but open your eyes and learn from it, if its not to your wellbeing move on! Gloria will follow me around whenever I make a comment on here( like a beautiful fat bee to honey)..There are Christo-pagans Gloria..did you know that?? lol

the enity Satan is your christian concept, not ours..we dont want him, we dont believe in him you do! he is allllll yourss and you can soo keep him..why are you trying to give this enity to us??? when he is of your faith not ours??

Thanks joyce, I thought all the close minded bigots were in africa, it is refreshing to see that they are all over the world hey. Call it an eye opener hey. I agree with your point of view, I like discussing religion, preferably with someone who is open minded at least. Christianity has a lot to be said for it, and the basic tenets if followed properly I do believe can lead to a harmonious life. Even the disciples of jesus questioned him didn’t they? Why is it a sin these days to question christianity? Surely if christ himself could be questioned, then all christians should be questioning the entire time? Just my point of view anyway.
It is also my firm belief that the roman church is just mithraism under another name, and when one considers that the protestants, ie martin luther, broke away from the catholic faith to form all the protestant churches, taking the bible etc that the catholics had compiled, and started their new christian religions, doesn’t it then stand to reason that all christian religions are in fact based in paganism?
Yes I know Gloria will probably throw the kitchen sink at me in quotes with regard to the above, the fact however remains thatwhen one follows a historical timeline of religions, that is what one would find.
Please also let me know the other sites you chat on Joyce, I am fascinated with the subject at the moment. And Gloria for what its worth I am not trying to knock your religion, and isn’t a basic tenet of christianity to respect others?

Doesn’t the bible preach that at the end of times there will be many false preachers? Doesn’t it then behoove one to properly investigate any so called religion? False gods and prophets, are warned against. Anyway if my facts are not appreciated I apologise, but I will still put forward the truths I have learned.

God has shown me through the holy spirit and through this site how evil the catholic system is. Many Catholic’s do not seek the truth about their origins or the rituals the catholic system performs. The catholic system is highly involved with death. Keeping dead saints bones, skulls, blood vials, and praying before or to them. The catholic system is just like a modern day Egypt except its even worse. Instead of burying their kings/queens/ect they parade their dead bones, blood, and skulls and worship them openly. This is absolute wickedness, Jesus is calling those who will hear and see out of the catholic church/system. Worship the one true living God alone. For he alone is perfect, holy, and true. Drop the mother Mary worship, saint worship, and realize that the passover is symbolic of the word (bread) and the crucifixion (blood) which we are to do in remembrance of Jesus.

Bible lesson # 13: Pope prays to Catholic saints. Christians pray only in the name of Jesus.

    http://ivarfjeld.com/2013/07/12/bible-lesson-13-pope-prays-to-catholic-saints-christians-pray-only-in-the-name-of-jesus/

The Pope claims to know who have gone into Heaven, making them saints. The Bible says: Dont pray to spirits and the dead.
Kneeling down and praying to an image of a departed Spirit is banned in the Bible
Kneeling down and praying to an image of a departed Spirit is banned in the Bible
My wife was horrified, the day she understood what I was trying to tell her, and stopped praying in the name of Catholic saints. I told her:
«How do you know that this man was a saint, and are in Heaven? If this man was a hypocrite, he is certainly not in Heaven, and will not be able to listen to your prayers. But a demon wold like to answer you, claiming to be the «saint». Please pray in the name of Jesus only. Thats the only guaranty you have for not being taken for a ride by an unclean spirit»
Both King David and the Jewish Apostle Paul called people present in their time on Earth for saints.

    Psalm 30:4

«Sing to the LORD, you saints of his; praise his holy name».

    Romans 15:31
«Pray that I may be rescued from the unbelievers in Judea and that my service in Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints there».
The prayer of the saints that comes up to Jesus, that He presents to our Father in Heaven, are from his living saints on Earth. Me and you. Not from departed Spirits.
To the radical opposite of whom the Bible tells us are the saints, the Pope of Rome waits till people have departed, before the Vatican starts the process of beautification and papal approval of sainthood.
I have always wonder how the Pope is able to search the heart of the departed. And how the Church is able to recall what kind of miracles that took place. Sometime the Vatican appoint their saint hundreds of years after their body and soul was separated.
The Word of God is telling us that what the Papal system are doing is wickedness, that will be punished.
Praying to and consulting the dead is paganism with roots in Egypt, presented as «Christianity» by Rome.
    Isaiah 19:3
«The Egyptians will lose heart, and I will bring their plans to nothing; they will consult the idols and the spirits of the dead, the mediums and the spiritists».
In First Samuel chapter 28, King Saul goes to the Witch of Endor, and ask her to call up the departed spirit of Samuel. He is strongly rebuked.
    1. Sam 28:16:
Samuel said, «Why do you consult me, now that the LORD has turned away from you and become your enemy?»
To pray to departed spirits is basically inviting Satan to come and give you a religious spirit. The Messiah Jesus warned us sternly not to trust any other shepherds than Him.
    John 10: 8-9
Therefore Jesus said again, “I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.

    John: 10: 14

I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me.
    John 14:6
Jesus answered, «I am the way and the truth and the life No one comes to the Father except through me»
    John 8:24
«I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins»
Please listen. Repent from you sin of praying in any other name than Jesus. Repent or perish.
It is possible, that some of the people the Pope has declared saints, have made it into the Kingdom of Heaven. I cant be sure, because neither the Pope or I, would be able to read their hearts. Neither of us are their final judge.
But I am afraid, that quite a few of the declared saints of Rome, have ended up in Hell. This human tragedy is bad enough. But even worse, is the amount of religions demons that have been released by faithful Catholics praying in such names.
Thats why the book of Revelation, speaks about a Church that has turned into a beast, and a house of demons:
     Revelation 18:2
With a mighty voice he shouted: “Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great! She has become a home for demons and a haunt for every evil spirit, a haunt for every unclean and detestable bird.
if you dont want to perish, you better get out of there, before its to late.

      Dear Ivar,
You know I do not agree with all that is said here, but it is still a good and great way of pointing out your views and beliefs.
I can see by the Scriptures you have given why your beliefs are as they are, and I respect that.
I will agree to disagree with you, yet it is still a very good post regarding your beliefs. You have every right to believe this, and to back this up with the Scriptures which you gave.
Of course you know I am Catholic and I believe when we die once again as Jesus said, “We will be like Angels.” In saying that I believe that the Saints in heaven are like the Angels and can aid man in all things here on earth. I have had many prayers answered by God when I have asked a Saint to intercede for me.
I also like the personal touch you put on this post regarding the conversation of you and your wife. I can understand truly your doubts on “are these people in heaven or not?” I at one time in my life said the same thing. However I gave it a try and in my life it worked.
The important thing to me is that we all pray and it is clear by your post, you and your family do. Again good post, very clear and to the point.
      God Bless, Sandy

For those who are shocked by this Ivar and myself have agreed to disagree. The reason being is both of us want to show others Christ first of all, and for any who do not know the Lord, and read these things, not to hinder any who want to know the Lord by our actions and our words. Ivar and myself have had some battles and even though we have, I believe Ivar truly has a calling by God to do what he is doing and a great God given talent for it. He also has wisdom which is being given to others in a mature Christian manner. We all need to respect one another and first and foremost Jesus must come first, regardless of our Church or the beliefs of that Church.
      God Bless
    3. David says:
Ivar, my only comment is that Revelation shows the Saints in heaven to be alive…How does the Church know who are saints? The Holy Spirit tells her.
I wonder if you can name one person you think should not be a saint that the Catholic Church has named a saint?
      • ivarfjeld says:
        Dear David.
Lets go back to Popes in the Middle Ages. Even the Catholic Church it self has admitted that they might have made mistakes. I will give you examples. Lets start with Emperor Konstantine the great. He even killed his own brother after he claimed to have been converted to «Christianity». Its pretty bad to make such a brutal murderer a saint.
Now, to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit never goes against the scripture. What the Church might claim to be the Holy Spirit, will not surprisingly be a demon.
        • David says:
Constantine is not a saint in the Catholic Church. Name the pope that was canonized that the Church says they made a mistake?
Jesus proclaimed to Peter that the gates of hell would not prevail against his church, which is the Catholic Church. So the Church in 2000 years, has been inerrant. You’re right that the Holy Spirit never contradicts scripture. He hasn’t.
        • ivarfjeld says:
          Dear David.
When i google Catholic saint Constantine, I get 382.000 hits….
          Let me quote from Wikipedia:
«The Byzantine liturgical calendar, observed by the Eastern Orthodox Church and Eastern Catholic Churches of Byzantine rite, lists both Constantine and his mother Helena as saints. Although he is not included in the Latin Church’s list of saints, which does recognize several other Constantines as saints, he is revered under the title “The Great” for his contributions to Christianity».
The «great murderer» I presume? Since He presided as Emperor and head over the first Church councils, that made the first Roman Catholic doctrines:
Was it Jesus or a demon that gave him permission to murder his own brother?
        • David says:
Orthodox is not Catholic. Byzantine is not Roman Catholic.
Constantine did far more good than he did wrong. Moses was also a murderer…
        • ivarfjeld says:
          Dear David.
Thanks for this comment. Byzantine is not Roman Catholic. Well, I guess it made no difference for those who accepted him to head the Church Council.
The difference between Moses and Constantine is obvious to those who want to understand. Moses was a murderer before He was called by God. Constantine was a murderer after He claimed he had become a Christian.
        • David says:
The secret here is that when Constantine became emperor, he moved his government to Constantinople, which IS the seat of the Byzantine Rite.
You actually give too much credit to Constantine. He simply legalized the Christian religion for the Mediterranean world. He tried to meddle in the affairs of the Church, he thought that by granting them legal status he had the right to control him, and granted, he did have influence. He did not invent the Catholic faith, as you believe. Jesus did. Constantine could not have committed murder after his conversion. He converted on his death bed.
        • ivarfjeld says:
          Dear David.
I do not give Constantine to much credit. Its the Roman Catholic Church that calls him «Constantine the great». I have just explained that he murdered his own brother after he claimed to have become a Christian.
        • ivarfjeld says:
          Dear David.
          You wrote:
Constantine could not have committed murder after his conversion. He converted on his death bed.
          My comment:
What more non sense are you going to give us before you stop? Constantine was not converted but was baptized on his dying bed. Why did he do that? Because some false teachers had told him, that baptism washed away the guilt of sins. If he was baptized earlier, He had to stop sinning. Like no longer being able to kill and murder people who did not agree with him. This is «Constantine the Great», the patron of the Roman Church.
        • David says:
People are baptized at their conversion, Ivar. There is no conversion without baptism.
Constantine earned the title of “Great” on his own. Where is your evidence that he killed his brother, and did you find anything about why? Did the brother commit treason, or some other crime against the state? As with Moses, who committed the same crime while he believed in the God of Israel (not before as you state) even good men commit sins. Even you. You have sinned after you were baptized. I’m positive. So has every saint the Church has. My point…so what. They’re just like the rest of us. But they strived to be holy. And that’s what matters to God.
        • ivarfjeld says:
          Dear David.
People who dont believe, can not be baptized. You have to believe first, than you will of your own free will go to the river.
I remember a Lutheran Pastor once saying to the infant during the religious ritual:. «And now I will baptize you, either you want it or not».
I would have liked to see the faces of the parents, if the infant had answered…
        • ivarfjeld says:
          Dear David.
          You wrote:
Name the pope that was canonized that the Church says they made a mistake?
          My first answer:
Let me start with a saint that does not exist:
          St. Veronica Didn’t Exist-
The Veronica who didn’t exist is the one in the Roman Catholic Church-sponsored legend who wiped the sweat from Jesus’ brow with her veil as he toiled along the streets of Jerusalem carrying his cross to Calvary. The veil was said to have retained the image of Jesus’ face and Veronica later cured emperor Tiberius (14-37 AD) from something unspecified with a touch of the veil. The legend says Veronica left the veil in the keeping of Clement I (fourth Pope-88-97) and it’s been in the Vatican’s vault ever since.
There is no mention of Veronica in the Bible.
However, the legend is commemorated in the RCC Stations of the Cross. She was made a Saint. And her veil is kept in a vault in the Vatican where it’s trotted out once a year for pilgrims to view and venerate. The non-existent Veronica’s feast day is July 12.
Now here’s where the story gets really bizarre. The veil of a woman who never was, disappeared from the Vatican in 1608.
          My comment:
Was it God or the Pope who changed his mind in regards to this Catholic saint?
When you pray to a person that have not even existed, and venerate and adore a fiction, you can not deny, that the demons will rejoice.
        • David says:
Hitler’s not in the Bible either. Did he exist?
Regarding Veronica, where is the mistake? That she’s lost in history? Well, that doesn’t make her sanctification a mistake.
On the other hand, she is not a canonized saint. A saint by popular proclamation, true. Canonized by the Church, false.
You don’t know that she never existed, Ivar, plain and simple.
        • ivarfjeld says:
          Dear David.
Do you really believe what you just wrote?…..Or do you just have to find an excuse for defending, what does not deserve to be defended?
        • David says:
You attack, I defend. I was being sarcastic, but there are lots of people who were around during biblical times that we don’t know very much about. In some cases, we know so little that we can’t even describe any event of their life. Others we know, but they aren’t in the Bible, such as Mary’s mother and father, Anna and Joachim.
What we do have is sacred tradition about these figures. The disciples knew them. So they aren’t in the bible? I say it makes no difference.
And again, we have a process for a long time, of how sainthood is determined. These are canonized saints. Many throughout our history have not been canonized, but publically declared, and granted by popular demand. St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi, for example.
        • David says:
And I could turn the question around. You seem to find any reason to attack the Catholic Church, even claiming as Catholic things that aren’t. You’re attacking things that don’t deserve to be attacked.
Again, if you make erroneous statements, I will be here to correct them.
        • ivarfjeld says:
          Dear David.
          You wrote:
Name the pope that was canonized that the Church says they made a mistake?
          One of my answers:
Some Popes have «become» saints, some have not. Why have not God granted all the popes sainthood? I mean, since the Bible says that the living followers of Jesus are the saints?
        • David says:
All popes are not saints because not all had the demonstrable personal holiness to become saints. Just because someone is not declared a saint doesn’t mean they aren’t one. A saint is simply one the Church declares to be definitively in heaven.
You still have not named one person who was canonized and then the Church said ‘oops, we made a mistake.’ Or any person that has been canonized that anybody has found fault with…
        • ivarfjeld says:
          Dear David
          You wrote:

          My comment:
So the Popes that have not been declared saints, there is no confirmation from God that they are «definitively in heaven»….?
    4. Sandy says:
      Ivar,
“The veil disappeared from Vatican in 1608″
It did. When the part of the Basilica containing the relic was scheduled to be torn down for remodeling the relic disappeared.
According to records in monastery the wife of a solider sold the veil to a nobleman of Monopello in 1608 to get her husband out of jail. The nobleman, donated it to Capuchins. In 1618 it was placed in a walnut frame adorned in silver and gold between two sheets of glass. It remained in the monastary ever since. Fr. Pfeiffer invested 13 years of searching through archives to prove this is the same cloth that disappeared in 1608
Scientific Investigation: Ultra-violet examinations of the cloth, carried out by Prof. Donato Vittore of the University of Bari, confirm that the image is not paint. There are several small flecks of reddish brown presumably drops of blood from the wounds caused by the crown of thorns. Enlarged photos showed that the image is identical on both sides of the cloth, which could not be achieved by ancient techniques. The photos have also been used to compare the veil with the Shroud of Turin. The similarities were apparent. The faces are of the same shape, both have shoulder length hair, with a tuft on the forehead, and the beards match.
Just some update but what I found interesting I never caught that the Veronica story was not in the Bible. I always presumed it was and I went to everything I had here and there is nothing in there regarding the wiping of the face of Jesus. I do not know where I read that but I have read it somewhere. I always thought I read it in the Bible. So I learned something.
      • ivarfjeld says:
        Dear Sandy.
Shalom, and love in Jesus from Nazareth.
Thanks for helping me. I do not know much about catholic relics. But I know, that I will be able to make an endless story….
    5. Sandy says:
Endless Story……..I have great faith in that:>) So be sure and do not let me down now???
Glad could be of some help, it just amazed me about the story not being in the Bible. Isn’t it amazing how you read or hear something sometimes and you could of sworn it came from the Bible. It kind of shocked me honestly.
That is what we are here for, to teach and learn.
Once again goodnight or goodmorning which ever side of the sun we are on. Sandy

      Dear God,
Your Word and acts of the past demonstrate to me Your desires to reflect Your nature and power through every individual–including me! I know that’s because those who reflect Your glory affect the world. I pray that in all situations I face, I will be obedient and dependent upon You and give You all the praise and glory, so that You will demonstrate Your power that all people may know of Your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of Your Kingdom. I’d like to be able to say, with the Apostle Paul, “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power” (1 Cor. 2:4-5). Thank you, Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
    8. David says:
In our example, in Jerusalem, 3000 people were converted…and their families. This includes infants. Their belief was spoken for by their parents.
There’s nothing in the bible that says you must be an adult.
Paul even calls baptism the replacement for circumcision, which was done to infants at the age of 8 days.
    9. Peter says:
They’re not praying to the spirit of JP2. They’re praying to Christ that He will have mercy on the soul of the dearly departed JP2.
If they prayed to the soul of JP2 as an ends of grace they wouldn’t be catholic.
They can ask JP2 to pray for them to God, as the bible references the prayers of the dead are offered to God (revelations).
We pray for all our departed brothers and sisters.
      • ivarfjeld says:
        Dear Peter.
        Shalom.
The Bible warns us to leave the dead alone. To consult the dead is a grave sin. When the Catholics pray in the name of a saint or a madonna, they will not be entertained by Jesus. He will have no objection, to let the devil take them for a ride, because of their sin and disobedience.
God our Father except only one mediator between Him self and man, and that is Jesus the Messiah. Pray to Him, or in His name only.
    10. Leah says:
Most of my relatives are Catholic and I have only love for the Catholic people. However, when I was a young girl I remember a priest telling us we should not attempt to read the Bible, because we would not understand it. I went on for many years believing that. It was good to light candles and pray at the foot of a statue. It was good to dip our fingers in “holy water,” and make the sign of the cross. It was good to repeat a novena for 9 days to a “saint” or to recite the rosary over and over again, but DO NOT read the Bible; you just won’t understand it.
By the time I was a young adult, I had a long list of unanswered prayers and I really needed help. I thought, “if there is a God in heaven I’m going to find Him.” I did what I was always told NOT to do. I read the Bible from cover to cover. Sure enough, I found Jesus and learned that only He is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. He is a jealous God and will not share His glory with any other.
When Jesus said that there is only one mediator between God and man and He is that Mediator, just how can anyone add to that?
He said it and it should be settled. Stephen was the first Christian martyr, yet there is no record of the early disciples praying to him. Nor did they pray to Moses or any of the other Old Testament saints. Someone in an earlier post said that when we die we are like the angels and help people. Well, where in Scripture does is say that any angel or saint in heaven is Amighty, All Knowing, and Omnipresent. They are not equal to God and only Christ can search the hearts of men and both hear and answer their prayers. He alone is our Mediator.
      Why debate?
Given the choice shouldn’t we all prefer going to Jesus? What attraction do saints have that our Glorious Lord doesn’t have? Pray in His name. He said we should, so shouldn’t we be obedient and do as He has commanded?
      • ivarfjeld says:
        Dear Leah…
Shalom, and welcome with this comment.
If you ever meet them, please tell my Catholic family that I love them. Tell them to love Jesus more than all.
    11. Leah says:
      Dear ivarfjeld,
Shalom, and thank you for your welcome.
I love my Catholic family very much too. But the love I have for them is small compared to the great love that Jesus (Yeshua) has for them. Thank God He is not done with any of us yet.
    12. Dugoth says:
I don’t know which Messiah the Zionists are praying for? I liked what UK Cabinet Minister Edwin Montagu (a Jew opposed to Zionism) said in the Early 20th century hypothesising that it may be Balfour (Baalfour) or Rothschild:-))))
      • ivarfjeld says:
        Dear Dogoth.
Shalom, and welcome to this site.
We should not harm the Jews. All our blessings have come out of Israel, also the Messiah Jesus of Nazareth. How do we know, why its wrong to lie?
Its because the Law of Moses explains this to us. If it had not been for the Jews, we would still have left without a clue about what God of the Bible expects from us.

      Hitler Bible
A surviving copy of a ‘Nazi Bible’ has been discovered in Hamburg, Germany. The extant copy, one of about 100,000 originally distributed to German churches, contains a rewritten version of the Ten Commandments and has been purged of all Jewish words, such as Hallelujah or Jehovah. In Hitler’s Bible there are twelve commandments, including such exhortations as “Honor your Fuhrer” and “Keep the blood pure and holy.” Hitler sent the Bible, entitled Germans With God to German Christians in 1941 in an attempt to “Nazify” the church and expunge “outdated” sentiments like mercy and love. The Nazi Bible, being the product of professors set to redact the ancient text, was stripped of all references to the Jews or compassion, and was meant to support Hitler’s view of Aryan supermen dominating the world’s lesser races. It is believed that Christians destroyed most copies of the book.
    14. Paul says:
In the Bible, Saints are always real living people. The word Saint is always “Saints” Plural and refers to all living christiains. There is only 1 instance of singlar and it says “every saint”. The Bible never tells us to pray to anyone other than God. Jesus said for us to go directly to God through Jesus. The Bible tells us there is only one intermediate between God and man and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible goes even furhter to say that it is wrong to pray to the dead.
The Catholic church over the years has done so much damage to Christianity. It’s sole purpose it to deminish the work that Jesus did on the cross. He died and paid the price of sin so we would not have to and the catholics preach continual sacrifice and good works are required to get into heaven. Pray to dead, pray rosary, purgatory, confess to a priest etc. All of this flies in contradiction to the word of God. The catholic church continually tries to take away the powers of Christ and bestown it on themselves as if they are some almighty knowing individuals.
For by grace are you saved, not by works lest any man should boast.
For there is one intercessor between god and man and that is the Lord Jesus Christ.
If you confess your sins to God he is willing to forgive you of those sins.

    17. Ellen says:
      Hi Ivar,
What I found particularly revolting in this idolatrous painting of John Paul II, is the prominent display of the “broken cross” (also known as the “bent cross”). John Paul II seemed to be particularly fond of using it, but it is frankly Satanic. From the time of Vatican II (1962-1965), it has been in use by the Popes. Roman Catholic writer, Piers Compton explains it in his book, “The Broken Cross: Hidden Hand in the Vatican”: “…This Bent Crucifix is…a sinister symbol, used by Satanists in the sixth century…Its use had been revived at the time of Vatican II. This was a bent or broken cross, on which was displayed a repulsive and distorted figure of Christ, which the black magicians and sorcerers of the Middle Ages had made use of to represent the Biblical term ‘Mark of the Beast’. Yet, not only Paul VI, but his successors, the two John-Pauls [and now, Pope Benedict XVI], carried that object and held it up to be revered by crowds, who had not the slightest idea that it stood for anti-Christ.” (p. 72).”
What was Pope John Paul II signalling to all the anti-Christians world-wide? That he was not the “traditional conservative” that was claimed by the Vatican public relations office, but a Pope that was committed to carrying out the role of False Prophet in Satan’s New World Order Plan. Stunningly bold, it defies belief, except that another Roman Catholic author, Malachi Martin, makes this same claim. In his book, “The Keys To This Blood,” Martin charged that Pope John Paul II was committed to the New World Order Plan and that the use of the “broken cross” was evidence of it. As a further sinister note, Malachi Martin died under what many feel were suspicious circumstances. The current Pope Benedict XVI also seems quite fond of using the “broken cross” crucifix. Could it just be a matter of ignorance? Highly doubtful.
      • Ellen says:
In looking at the pictures of Ratzinger’s “coronation” as Pope Benedict XVI, he carried the “broken cross” but I also noticed something further. His golden robe had two seashells prominently displayed on the front. There are two ties to the occult there. The Roman goddess, Venus (copied from the Greek goddess, Aphrodite) is identified with the symbol of the seashell since she was typically depicted as rising out of the sea from a seashell. The tradition of Venus/Aphrodite draws from the even more ancient Middle Eastern/Babylonian goddess myths of The Queen of Heaven (whose worship was condemned in the Book of Ezekiel). (The RCC hierarchy often refers to Mary as “the Queen of Heaven”.) The other tie is to the golden “bishop’s mitre” that he wears a symbol of the Middle Eastern/Babylonian “fish god,” Dagon. Could the pagan/anti-Christ idolatry be any more obvious?!
