THE NEW AGE RELIGION HAS INVADED AFRICA: BE WARE OF HUMANISM: FAITH IN YOUR FAITH OR FAITH IN GOD: A scriptural critique of Ethan Musolini’s humanistic succeeding tips

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5)

Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD(Jeremiah 17:5).

15And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God (Luke 16:15).

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works(2 Corinthians 11:14-15).

18Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. 19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness(1Corinthians 3:18-19)

18For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 19For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? ….25Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men 1 Corinthians 1:18,19,20&25)

They are many success gurus in the world today. These men and women are excellent speakers with incredible oratory skills. They are telling people to think big, dream big, believe in your self, trust in your self, forgive your self . This is called Humanism or new age religion, or New age spirituality . This humanism is a hiss of the serpent. So, the serpent behind the lie of new age- humanism is telling us to believe in our self instead of believing in God. This humanism has stealthily crept into the born again churches especially the Pentecostal churches. Pentecostal pastors like Dr.Shulller, Rick Warren, Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Joyce Meyer, Creflo Dollar, Andrew Wommack, Late Kenneth Hagin etc are teaching new age-humanism, which they have given a Christian mask. Dr. Shulller is famous for his so called self esteem new age-humanism theology. The likes of Benny Hinn, Copeland, Frederick Price, have stealthily taught that we should have faith in our faith, instead of having faith in God. The word of God categorically cautions us to put our trust in God in everything we do and never to lean on our own understanding.(Proverbs. 3:5). Scripture categorically states that cursed is he who trusts in man(Jeremiah 17:5)

The bible cautions us to prove all things (1Thesa.5:21) and to test spirits whether they are from God(1John:4:1). The major spirit behind new age-humanism is capitalism. You, see, capitalism thrives on greed, self indulgence etc. The more greedy people are, the more the capitalist make profits. The capitalists want people to be so greedy to extent of buying even what they do not need, living beyond their means, lusting after the things of the world, loving materialism, killing and shedding blood for the sake of greed. The capitalists know that the Jesus of the bible is an enemy to their plans, so they have created their own Pentecostal, designer Jesus who advocates for the gospel of materialism or prosperity gospel. Many Christians are in serious debts, because of the gospel of new-age-humanism. The main cause of the current financial crisis is humanism’s self esteem lie of thinking big, succeeding better than anyone, climbing high ad higher.

Think like a billionaire

I have been watching and reading success tips of a young brilliant man by the names of Ethan Musolin for quite some time. This young man is indeed an eloquent motivation speaker who is attracting many people. Many born again Christians are following prey to lies of satan. They easily believe somebody because he has put on an expensive suit, because he or she is eloquent. Many women do not care about the theology(enjoy every day lies) of Joyce Meyer, they really want to have the wealth of Joyce, they are thrilled(like a man sick with sexual desire for a beautiful woman (Proverbs 7:6-27)) by Joyce Meyer’s luxurious shoes, earrings, mansion, cars, dresses, trousers etc, .Many Christians think that Satan is a fool , satan is smart that is why, we like the angels must put our trust in God who is the smartest. Remember, Michael the arch angle told the devil, the lord rebuke thee(Jude 1:9). He never said I bind you. If angles trust in God, it is foolish for human beings to trust in themselves. Remember scripture says that man was created a little lower than angels(Psalms 8:5-check KJV and compare with fake NIV)

New age-humanism is greatly responsible for the upsurge of homosexualism, lesbianism and radical feminism. A little research around will show you that most of the gays and feminists are new age-humanists.

Confidence and Self Esteem

Your self worth means everything. Could self esteem be the key to that world of wonder and magic? Yes, even in the world which has been knocking in your dream to succeed in life?

Ethan Musolini

You are Worth all That and More

You are definetely worth so much more than you may think. What may be stoping you to believe the above statement is your level of self esteem.
In today’s Daily Monitor Newspaper, I published You are Worth all That and More in my weekly column.
How do you measure up with what it really takes to have a high level of self esteem? What do you need to do to claim the top echelons of self esteem heights? Could self esteem be the key until you realize your dreams?
You are worth much more that what you may think. That’s what spiritual teachers and sages have said and taught for ages. Read more…

Comments to Ethan Musolini’s article

That is so very true. When one realises that their own self worth is more than they had originally believed it to be then from that point they will be able to move forward and build their self esteem at the same time.

You are right. Self esteem is the core. What’s even critical is for someone to reach a point where they believe they are worthy of great things in their life.
It’s funny because recently I was talking to a lady who is aspiring to be a member of parliament (MP) and wated advice from me. We shared a lot and towards the end, I challenged her to start seeing herself as an MP. Then she commented that when one of her friends started referring to her as an MP that she would “feel shy”.
You see, it means that at a certain level, she doesn’t feel worthy of the position. The faster she believes that she deserves no less than that, the faster she will be declared as an MP

Are you true to your self?

When I was growing up, my dad wanted me to either become a doctor or an engineer.
“When you are an engineer or doctor, you are assured of a job” he reasoned.

Right from high school, I set my eyes on the prize. I worked hard. I read hard. But somehow, physics and maths was never my cup of tea. Not even chemistry.

Finally, toward my end of high school, I had to choose between the red pill and the blue pill. Please my father or be true to myself and do arts subjects.
It was a Saturday. I had woken up in the morning at home and he was nearby me. Already awake. I gathered myself…

“Dad, somehow science subjects are not easy for me. I would prefer arts subjects” then I held my breath awaiting his scathing reply. To my surprise, he calmly responded “well, if they are hard for you, then do what comes naturally to you”
I switched my subjects around and concentrated on history, geography, economics and divinity. I scored high points which qualified me for government sponsorship at the university and did social sciences.

Now, am being paid to tell stories as a motivational speaker, consultant and author. As you can tell, am still sharing a story here. Would you blame me for taking history?

The crux of the matter is that there comes a time when you must be true to yourself. Being honest to what your heart tells you rather than what other people are advising you to do. Like Blaise Pascal put it “We know the truth, not only by the reason, but also by the heart”
Not that you shouldn’t listen to people’s advice. Give them space. If you feel it’s the right road for you to take, then by all mean thank them and walk along. If that’s not the case, then be courage and stand up for what you think is true for you. If not, you will be living somebody’s dream rather than yours.
More truth, love, joy, peace and abundance to you.

Are you chicken or an eagle?

M2: Features | July 28, 2009

By Ethan Musolini

Almost everyone I have talked to would rather be related to an eagle than chicken. And I believe that includes you. Right? Please say ‘right’ or else I will stop sharing the story right now. Good. Now, we all seem to love the ways of an eagle. It’s majesty, it’s standards, focus and ferociousness. But that also reveals the core of our being. That indeed we were born to fly. The inner part of ourselves seems to believe and rightly so that there is a greatness within us. And if you are like me, flying is greater and classier than scratching.

If you think you are part of the chicken’s republic, then you will feel comfortable in low class clothes, low class shoes, low class food, low class travel and low class everything. If you take on the eagle’s mindset and identity, you feel and behave like you deserve the best that life has to offer. Such a mindset will force you to work harder, work smarter, raise your standards and greater results will follow.

The late Anthony de Mello told a story that got me thinking. “A man found an eagle’s egg and put it in a nest of a barnyard hen. The eaglet hatched with the brood of chicks and grew up with them. All his life, the eagle did what the barnyard chicks did, thinking he was a barnyard chicken.

He scratched the earth for worms and insects. He clucked and cackled. And he would thrash his wings and fly a few feet into the air. Years passed and the eagle grew very old. One day, he saw a magnificent bird above him in the cloudless sky. It glided in graceful majesty among the powerful wind currents, with scarcely a beat of its strong golden wings. The old eagle looked up in awe. “Who’s that?” he asked.

“That’s the eagle, the king of the birds,” said his neighbour. “He belongs to the sky. We belong to the earth – we’re chickens.” So the eagle lived and died a chicken, for that’s what he thought he was.”

So, are you chicken or an eagle? Were you born to fly or to scratch dust with chicken? And I don’t mean going to Chicken Tonight as one famous chain that serves delicious chicken in Kampala. No, it’s a question for reflection.

So then, what’s the moral of the story in Anthony de Mello’s tale? It’s subject to many interpretations. You can come up with your own version. My take is that sometimes we choose to listen to definitions of who we are that are not accurate. Especially definitions that demean us. Anything that is not a reflection of who you are but reduces your actual value is a declaration of your being a member of the chicken republic.

On the contrary, any definition of your greatness, even a hint to it is a declaration that you are an eternal citizen of the eagles republic. I prefer the latter. Anytime. Whatever your choice is or the identity you take on, it will determine your behaviour or performance. Let’s take that choosing to be part of the chicken republic is the lower class and eagles republic the higher class.

The last time I checked, you were legible for an Eagles Republic passport. Please hurry and pick one. The last thing I want to hear is that you turned to one of the chickens after seeing an eagle flying majestically and asked “who’s that?”

How to Forgive Yourself – Day #2 of 21 Days of Action with Forgiveness

Posted on March 2, 2009 by Julette Millien

Forgiving yourself is necessary!

Easier said than done right?
I know, words are so easy to say and truths to spout. But how do you really forgive yourself, if you don’t already have a habit of forgiveness?
An assumption is being made here and here it is: I am assuming that you believe that forgiveness is right and good; that it is the way to live that brings peace and joy. This is my assumption as I suggest the following.

Loving yourself; forgiving yourself is possible when you have a desire to or, you already love yourself. So are you “feeling” worthy of love – yours or someone else’s? Are you loving you?

If not, stay here for a minute and create a miracle. Change your mindset about that. Just do it.
• Decide that loving yourself is all that really makes sense.
• Decide that you are worthy of love because you exist. Period.
It might be different for you but for me,
• I think of God and the power of love.
• I think of the life of Jesus and how much He endured because of his love for me.
• I think of the healing and miraculous power of love, which is God and I wonder how can I be anything but lovable when I was created by, with and for love!
ONCE you are clear about being a magnificent creation of love, forgiving yourself becomes a natural outcome.

Not forgiving you for mistakes causes pain, guilt, stress, anxiety – why would you do that to someone you love?

Mistakes are common; they occur everyday, big ones and little ones. They are a fact of life. And NO ONE goes through life without making them.
Mistakes HOW we learn and how we GROW.

Thinking you are perfect and so mistakes are not forgivable is egotistical.
So get over yourself and accept your humanity – which by definition means you WILL be making mistakes! Then, move on from there and accept how lovable you are.
What’s the obvious next step?

Yes, FORGIVE yourself for all you have done or not done to this point SO THAT you can move on to live a life of love and wellness.
Without this forgiveness of self, you will not have the life of your dreams.
Day 2 Assignment:
1. Review your list of things (in your forgiveness journal) to forgive and select something you will see and feel differently about TODAY.
2. Write about that choice and why you are releasing the guilt.
3. Write out what you are forgiving yourself for on a piece of paper and ceremoniously destroy that piece of paper
4. Do Forgiveness Ritual – sent earlier
5. Check in with accountability partner and discuss forgiveness process, actions taken and your intentions
If anxiety sneaks in, just say ‘hey’ and stay on your program. Really!
Anxiety is adrenalin and a rush of adrenalin means you are living life to the fullest, or trying to!
Stick with what you know is right and try not to rely solely on your ‘feelings.’
In Light and with Love,

Would you like to…discover your destiny?…perceive your purpose?…validate your vision?…reinforce your relationships?…strengthen your self-esteem?…overcome your obstacles?…feed your faith? You can…this year! You can…by living in the now! You can…one day at a time! God is on your side! He is available to assist you in the pursuit of your potential as you develop the diligence to seriously search out your personal path for growth into greatness! Through seeking first His Kingdom and righteousness, you can become the person that he created you to be!

You can only find God’s Kingdom in the eternal “NOW” as you endeavor to experience Him in your everyday existence. Kingdom-seeking consists of a constant effort to embrace the now and a commitment to the continual conforming of your consciousness to it. This empowers and enables you to escape the mental distractions produced by living in the past or in the future, so that you can comprehend a real Christ for your current real circumstances!

A YEAR IN THE NOW is a devotional designed to deliver a doable format for the daily development of your eternal life – to help you think creatively, beyond your familiar, time-bound comfort zones. These positive and powerful affirmations will provide the help you need to progressively put your life on the right track in realistic increments. You don’t have to become overwhelmed by the tremendous task of trying to lead a “now life” in a “yesterday/tomorrow world”. You can do it day by day! This is your year to change your world! You can change your world by changing your mind! You can change your mind one day at a time! It’s time for a fresh start, and you can start right now!

“Jesus said, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.’ This is the most important, the first on any list. But there is a second to set alongside it: ‘Love others AS WELL AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF.’ These two commands are pegs; everything in God’s Law and the Prophets hangs from them.” (Matthew 22:37-40 – The Message)”. . . he who loves his wife LOVES HIMSELF. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.” (Ephesians 5:28, 29)

1. Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now, because the power of God’s unconditional love allows and enables me to live my life in the present. Because I am accepted in the Beloved, I can give myself permission to love myself as I am now, knowing that I am improving by continually being conformed to His image.
2. Today I will love myself without being conceited, arrogant, puffed up with pride, or condescending. I will not feel inferior to anyone else, nor will I feel superior to anyone else, but will be balanced and mature in the way that I relate to everyone around me.

3. Today I will love myself, and still maintain a mindset of servitude and humility. I will selflessly consider the needs of others by taking up my cross to follow Jesus.
4. Today I will forgive myself for the ways in which I have disappointed myself. I will stop being angry with myself, and punishing myself for my mistakes, having the same patience with myself that God has with me.

5. Today I will speak well of myself, building a healthy self-esteem with verbal building blocks. I will not sin against my own potential by speaking self-destructive words, but will say about my life what God says about it, because I am in agreement with His word.

6. Today I will be good and kind to myself. I will not feel guilty for doing something nice just for me, with no obligation to any bogus, religious ideas of my own unworthiness.
7. Today I will walk in the God kind of love with the people in my life, and will be a blessing to them. They will see Jesus in me today, and today I will live in the now!

Trump or Jesus: Think like a Millionaire

I have been reading a lot about Donald Trump recently, and find him and his hair to be very intriguing. Did you know he was once $8 billion in the hole? Yep. That’s ridiculous. He turned that around to be up 6 billion. That’s one fact I learned from the Trump Seminar I attended the other day.
Oh, and guess how many lucky billioanires are out there as per the realease date of this book? 587.
I believe in personally having a millionaire mindset, and continuously read books and take classes about becoming rich to keep be on track with things. I also surround myself with others that are smarter and that I can learn from.
Recently after the Trump Seminar I attended at the Marriott, we were all handed a copy of Donald’s newest book “Think Like a Billionaire–Everything You Need To Know About Success, Real Estate, and Life.” I decided to take some time and get started reading it.
I’ll blog more about my notes later in case you too are interested in learning how to think like a billionaire. But first though, I wanted to share with you what Trump considers the Top 10 Ways Of Thinking Like a Billionaire:
1. Don’t Take a Vacation. He says “what’s the point? If you don’t like your work, you’re in the wrong business.”
2. Have a short attention span. He says that the most successful people have very short attention spans, and that it has to do with imaginiation.
3. Don’t sleep any more than you have to. Trump says he goes to bed at 1AM and by 5AM he is reading the newspaper. Helps him have a competitive edge.
4. Don’t depend on technology. He says that if you have something to say, look the person in the eye and say it. He adds that if you can’t do that, give the person a call and make sure they hear the sincerity in your voice. Email is for wimps he says.
5. Think of yourself as a one-man army. He says that not only are you the commander in chief, you are the soldier as well, adding the fact that you must plan and execute your plan alone.
6. It’s often to your advantage to underestimate.
7. Success breeds success. Trump says that the best way to impress people is through results. He adds that you have to create success to impress people in the world of business.
8. Friends are good, but family is better.
9. Treat each decision like a lover. He says that if you treat each decision like a lover–faithfully, respectfully, and appropriately.
10. Be curious. The Don says that a successful people are always going to be curious. He continues by saying that you have to be alive to your surroundings and hungry to understand your immediate world. Otherwise, you’ll lack the perspective to see beyond yourself.

"Self-Esteem: The New Reformation"

What do I mean by sin? Answer: Any human condition or act that robs God of glory by stripping one of his children of their right to divine dignity. ... I can offer still another answer: `Sin is any act or thought that robs myself or another human being of his or her self-esteem.'" (p. 14)

"And what is `hell'? It is the loss of pride that naturally follows separation from God -- the ultimate and unfailing source of our soul's sense of self-respect. `My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?' was Christ's encounter with hell. In that `hellish' death our Lord experienced the ultimate horror -- humiliation, shame, and loss of pride as a human being. A person is in hell when he has lost his self-esteem. Can you imagine any condition more tragic than to live life and eternity in shame?" (pp. 14-15)
"Labels such as, `evangelical,' `fundamental,' `charismatic,' `liberal' contribute to polarization and produce a climate of implied or outspoken distrust. Respectful dialogue becomes virtually impossible. What we desperately need to offset this disunity and distrust is a new and cleansing theology of communication." (p. 27)

"Are we aware that theology has failed to accommodate and apply proven insights in human behavior as revealed by twentieth-century psychologists?
"A widespread tension has too long existed between psychologists and theologians. Both disciplines should be committed to the healing of the human spirit. Both can and must learn from each other. Neither one can claim to have 'the whole truth.' Conflict between theology and psychology points to a need for growth and accommodation until the contradiction in thought is reconciled on the altar of truth. What we need is a theological restructuring which synergizes scientific and spiritual truths as related to the human being." (p. 27)

"What is our Lord's greatest passion for his church today? Believe that he wants his followers to respect themselves as equal children of God and to treat all other human beings with that same respect. ... I believe we know that Jesus would say something like this to us: '...Receive and the enjoy the fruit of salvation: Self-esteem, self-worth. ...
"If the gospel of Jesus Christ can be proclaimed as a theology of self-esteem, imagine the health this could generate in society!" (p. 47)
"Many sincere students within the larger body of believers are turned off by a theology that offers nothing more than a classical heaven and hell proposition. The alternative theology of mission focuses on peace, brotherhood, and economic equality. And the tension between these two theologies of mission is strong in the church today. Somehow a strong fresh theology of mission must be articulated that will allow sincere followers of both points of view to merge mind, motive, method, and message." (p. 60) [The dialectic process -- merging opposites into a new truth]

"We are born to soar. We are children of God. ... The Fatherhood of God offers a deep spiritual cure for the inferiority complex and lays the firm foundation for a solid spiritual self-esteem." (p. 60)
"Classical theology defines sin as `rebellion against God.' The answer is not incorrect as much as it is shallow and insulting to the human being. Every person deserves to be treated with dignity even if he or she is a `rebellious sinner'." (p. 65)
"The core of original sin, then is LOT--Lack Of Trust. Or, it could be considered an innate inability to adequately value ourselves. Label it a 'negative self-image,' but do not say that the central core of the human soul is wickedness.
"... positive Christianity does not hold to human depravity, but to human inability. I am humanly unable to correct my negative self-image until I encounter a life-changing experience with non- judgmental love bestowed upon me by a Person whom I admire so much that to be unconditionally accepted by him is to be born again." (p. 67)
"To be born again means that we must be changed from a negative to a positive self-image--from inferiority to self-esteem, from fear to love, from doubt to trust." (p. 68)
"The Cross sanctifies the ego trip. For the Cross protected our Lord's perfect self-esteem from turning into sinful pride." (p. 75)
"Historical theology has too often failed to interpret repentance as a positive creative force. ... Essentially, if Christianity is to succeed in the next millennium, it must cease to be a negative religion and must become positive." (p. 104)

"Negative-thinking theologians looked at the doctrine of sin, salvation and repentance... through distorted glasses tinted with mortification mentality. Too many prayers of confession of sin and repentance have been destructive to the emotional health of Christians.... I am not fully forgiven until I allow God to write his new dream for my life on the blackboard of my mind, and I dare to believe 'I am; therefore, I can. I am a child of God. ... God has a great plan to redeem society.....
"The emerging church, reformed according to the needs of self-esteem-starved-souls under the Lordship of Christ.... will help us to affirm the concept that 'While god's ideas may seem humanly impossible, he will give us these ideas which will lead to glorious, self-esteem-generating success.'" (104-105)

"Protestants quote their Bible, Fundamentalists declare their orthodox theological dogmas, and we are all expected to renounce private reflection and peacefully acquiesce to these pronouncements. And the result is that the dignity of the person is violated by such oppressive, intelligence- smothering forms of communication."
"Christ is the Ideal One, for he was Self-Esteem Incarnate." (p. 135)
"...the kingdom of God is that invisible collection of committed Christians that transcends cultures, ideologies... and creeds-- all bound by the golden commitment to say nothing and do nothing that would attack the self-esteem, the self-respect, and the dignity of any other human being, whether or not they are committed members of the kingdom of God. The dignity of the person then is the irreducible cell of true Christianity." (p. 135)

"The tragedy of Christendom today is the existence of entire congregations of church members who are dominated by emotionally deprived or emotionally under-developed persons. These congregations have been accurately labeled `God's Frozen People.' ... And they do this by exercising narrow authoritarianism in doctrines and practices and by sowing seeds of suspicion and dissension in the religious community. ... By contrast, strong persons--self-assured personalities, whose egos find their nourishment in a self-esteem-generating personal relationship with Jesus Christ--dare to face contrary opinions, diverse interpretations, and deviations of theology without becoming disrespectful, judgmental, or accusatory." (pp. 153-154)
"The classical error of historical Christianity is that we have never started with the value of the person. Rather, we have started from the `unworthiness of the sinner...." (p. 162)

Dr.Robert Schuller’s satanic error

By Loren Davis : HERE IS A COMPARISON TWO MAJOR MINISTERS WHO HAVE IMPACTED CHRISTIANITY WORLDWIDE with the best selling New Age Book ‘The Secret’. (All page numbers shown are from the book ‘The Secret’). The teachings of The New Age and major ministers will be compared to the Bible, KJV.

1. THE NEW AGE book “The Secret” - p. 164 “You are God manifested in human form,”
“YOU are God in a physical body. You are Spirit in the flesh. You are Eternal Life expressing itself as You. You are all intelligence. You are perfection. You are magnificence. You are the creator,”

COMPARE - KENNETH HAGIN -“You are as much the incarnation of God as Jesus Christ was...” (Kenneth Hagin, "Word Of Faith" Dec. 1980, p. 14)
The meaning of the word ‘INCARNATION’. A theological term for the coming of God's Son into the world as a human being. The term ‘incarnation’ itself is not used in the Bible, but it is based on clear references in the New Testament to Jesus as a person "in the flesh" (Rom 8:3; Eph 2:15; Col 1:22).

But the joining together of deity and humanity that marks His incarnation did not come to an end with His ascension. Jesus took His resurrected body with Him back to heaven (Luke 24:51; Acts 1:9). In heaven now He is our divine Lord, our human leader, and the great High Priest who serves as a mediator between God and man (Heb 3:1).
(Nelson's Illustrated Bible Dictionary, Copyright © 1986, Thomas Nelson Publishers)

2. THE NEW AGE - Walsch, “You are the Word made flesh” Walsch, “Friendship With God”, p. 395.
*COMPARE - KENNETH COPELAND “Adam in the Garden of Eden was God ‘manifested’ in the flesh." (Kenneth Copeland, Following the Faith of Abraham I (Fort Worth, TX: Kenneth Copeland Ministries, 1989), tape #01-3001, side 1). Copeland is exactly copying the New Age teachings.

COMPARE WITH THE BIBLE: 1 Tim 3:16 “God was ‘manifest’ in the flesh,” KJV This scripture was referring to Jesus not any other man.
John 1:14 “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)” KJV This is talking about Jesus Christ. This is putting YOU in CHRIST’S PLACE.
THE NEW AGE – You have the Christ ‘Karma’ in you. You are Christ!

(Kenneth Copeland, "The Force of Love" tape # 02-0028)
Col 1:27 “Christ in you , the hope of glory:” KJV

PAUL CROUCH Head of Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). “We are little gods.” (Praise the Lord (TBN), recorded 7/7/86)

BENNY HINN - "YOU ARE A LITTLE GOD ON EARTH RUNNING AROUND". (Benny Hinn, "Praise-a-thon" broadcast on TBN, November, 1990)

THE BIBLE: Isa 43:10 “before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.” KJV
The Serpent said to Eve, Gen 3:5 “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your -eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods” KJV Telling man that he would be a god was Satan’s first temptation to man.

4. *THE NEW AGE, Walsch, “Man is equal with God” Walsch said God told him, “There is only one of us. You and I are One.” Walsch, “Friendship With God”, p. 23, 26
HAGIN says “Man was created on terms of EQUALITY with God, no inferiority.” Hagin, “Zoe” p. 36. (See Article II “Man is a god”)

COPELAND says, “God is going to have a family of EQUALS.” Copeland, “Fullness: God’s Plan for His Family,” BVOV Magazine, July and August 2004, pg. 32.

Hagin, Copeland, Hinn, and their allies say God is directly talking to them.

13. The New Age uses Mark 11:24. The Secret p. 54, …but they pervert the scriptures to teach humanism, the doctrines of devils. How? They do this by leaving God out of these scriptures and just focusing on faith. They pervert this scripture my just making faith a formula, a spiritual law.

By Loren Davis : below is a basic comparison of the TEACHINGS OF THE New Age from one of its best selling books “the secret”, with THE TEACHINGS OF KENNETH HAGIN AND The Bible:

Kenneth Hagin was a disciple of E.W. Kenyon and got much of what he taught through Kenyon’s books, even though Kenyon wasn’t Pentecostal.

THE BIBLE: KJV Mark 11:22 says, “Have faith in God.”
Hagin says this could have been translated to “Have the Faith of God” or Have the God Kind of Faith”.
By doing this, he changes the scripture and removes God from the equation. Now he is teaching us instead of looking to God to answer our prayers, we need to seek to get the kind of faith God has, (copy God) then you can do what God does. That is exactly what Lucifer did. Lucifer tried to be like God, (copy God).

Now God is not the focus of one’s attention, but rather faith. Now they are teaching that faith gives you God’s ability to do what God does. This is absolutely exactly a carbon copy of what the New Age teaches. Their faith is nothing more than positive thinking; positive speaking and the exaltation of man. It is all about what man can do with his faith without God.

Thoughts on Pestilent Medicine

Thoughts on Pestilent Medicine

Arthur Owiti | Posted August 18, 2009

Discussions of swine flu and malaria vaccinations filling the air, show off the significance of medicine in the kingdom of this world. As Christians we are in this world but not of it but are affected by this issue directly or indirectly.

Diseases and medicine have been with man for ages .Whereas there are diseases which are natural in occurrence and also allowed by God, today we have man made diseases or bio warfare that has joined the fray of diseases in the world. These manmade diseases then come up with solutions which are more harmful than good; what we can call pestilent medicine. In these last days pestilence comes, either from God or man in form of bio warfare.

When it comes to medicine, I believe everyone has liberty to choose or not to choose what they need for ailments so long as it involves no spiritual worship like offerings being given to witchdoctors to heal someone, not forgetting the so called deliverance ministers who do cash for healing/deliverance. However after observing the effects of some Western and man made medicine on people, I have questioned its authenticity and intent.

The Evil of Medical Commercialization
Commercialization of all aspects of life has watered down and infected well meaning professions in the Western world, not to forget, Christianity. Today many people are making medicines not to cure but to injure so as to create dependence on the medicine thus continue making money. Could there be a sinister plot behind all this?

We should not forget the whole world lies in wickedness. We should not forget that the love of money is the root of all evil. This being so, many worldly activities are done on the basis of the Love of money. Thus sickness is not seen as an oppression or affliction to some greedy people, but as a means of making money from the sick.

There are many well meaning professionals in medicine who are not bent to injure for gain. In fact they are the ones who are exposing the evils in the medical field in form of dangerous medications and exorbitant prices. So we see a small elite using man’s knowledge to create evil against many, for selfish gain.

Africa The Guinea Pig or The Prey ??
Africa has been the experiment ground for all sorts of medicine from the West, India and also including her own natural medicines. Many diseases plague people yet the so called medication is scant.

Moreover, medications are expensive for the average African. So majority opt for generics or herbal medicine. Others wait on God since they have no money. Doctors and health care centers are far from ailing victims .This makes health care in many parts of Africa bleak and vain.
By God’s mercy some Africans are surviving even while living a fatal lifestyle of consuming complicated medicines or lack of medical attention. However many are not the healthy selves they are supposed to be after taking medication. Many have died.

Yet medicine is provided so that people can be healthy again. Is this a case of pestilent medicine where some diseases and cures are made to primarily harm, weaken and destroy others? The talk of genetic made diseases also generates questions. Whereas it is proven that we pass on physical traits to our generations, it is false to say that almost 100% ailing conditions are genetic .Could it be that certain man made vaccinations are intended to create certain conditions? What about the side effects of medicines people consume? Medicines that create other diseases instead of destroying the disease?

To put these questions to rest one should ask God for wisdom to study and analyze medications, if they must take them. Though some like to avoid blame games, we have to conclude that there are many sinister moves in the medical world which question its assumed goal of making people healthy and evidence the wickedness of the world.

Jesus said that believers will not be hurt by any poison given to them to drink. Whether they have forcefully injected you before without your knowledge, if your trust is in the Lord, he is with you. TRUST IN THE LORD, NOT MAN IN THESE LAST DAYS.

Moreover the disciples were concerned about the condition of the blind man, wanting to know the origin of his blindness; whether it was sin of his parents or himself. Jesus did not answer that but said that he was in that state for the glory of God to be manifested.

Jesus shifted their focus from the bondage to the deliverer. This is where Deliverance teachers miss the mark as they magnify the bondage instead of the Lord the deliverer, by putting price tags on deliverance.

Then using genetic science ideas and psychology, they look to blame some family member or consequence for one’s weakness or ailment, instead of encouraging the believer to call on the name of the Lord our Savior , for grace and mercy and endure situations ;trampling on the blood of Jesus of the everlasting covenant.

The kingdom of Jesus Christ has no disease; when he comes, no sorrow or tears or sickness will be present for those who believe in him. We earnestly wait for his kingdom to come where no sickness reigns. However, we endure in the kingdoms of this world where man has and seeks to poison populations, weaken and destroy. But we will not fear, for Jesus Christ has overcome the world.

Like pestilent medicine that causes more harm than good, False teachings in the church today have a serious deadly effect on a believer. Like bad doctors, false teachers and prophets are giving poisoned bread to some innocent and or willfully ignorant Christians.

They inject them with lies and half truths that sedate them to believe that they are fine in the Lord but are actually enemies of God. They heal their wound slightly. They teach rebellion instead of the word of Christ Jesus for gain and praise of men.

This spiritual sickness has eternal implications. Christians who willfully reject checking out falsehood in the church and speaking out against it are committing spiritual suicide and destruction of the faith of other believers who are seeking direction.

If secular doctors and medics are shouting about the fatal effects of some medicines and vaccines where are Evangelical Christian leaders who know that there are deadly poisons in the church in the form of false doctrines and heresies but choose to play dumb or take it lightly??

It is sad that some Christians are calling those warning about falsehood in the Church as people bent to destroy ministries. Spiritual death is the worst death because it leads to eternal fire and destruction. Do not be ashamed of the words of Christ or he will be ashamed of you.

For a ministry to remain a ministry it should repent of all falsehood and doctrines or if it insists on teaching rebellion, face rejection and exposure from true Christians and the judgment of God Almighty.

We should watch for false doctrines, love waxing cold and deception in our lives and the church or else we will be unfit in our faith, but fit for hell. Overthrown faith, shipwrecked faith, defiled faith will not please our Lord and Father.

Building up your MOST HOLY FAITH with truth and right doctrine, the teachings of the New Testament, the whole counsel of the Word, will get you walking right before the Lord. Forsake the junk food and poisonous stuff that makes us ineffective in the knowledge of Christ. Desire the pure milk of the word and solid food for growth and life in Jesus Christ.

In Christ Jesus,

Uganda now has four Christian television channels and a number of radio stations. Even Pastor Robert Kayanja of Miracle centre cathedral has opened up his so-called channel 44. These Television channels simply present a recycling of the rotten American prosperity Gospel. They simply present the same TBN, GOD Tv and Daystar prosperity garbage. Over 90 percent of the time on these stations is used to air American preachers and American entertainment . They are simply presenting the same ‘name it’ ,‘claim it’ word faith prosperity cyanide of the likes of; Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer, Creflo $$$, Kenneth Copland, TD Jakes, Andrew Wommack, Marylyn Hickey etc .

What's Wrong With the Word of Faith Prosperity Movement?

America-nized Christianity, ‘Another Gospel’ To Africa

Uganda Pentecostal Churches and the War in Iraq

Many born again Christians in Uganda are unaware of the fact that what they are watching on these apostate TV channels is not the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, but rather American Culture, self indulgence and greed. Many Christians are un aware of the fact that most of these preachers on these channels are not preaching Christianity, but rather New age philosophy, Eastern mysticism, cultism and occultism.Be ware that the purpose of these Channels is to present America(USA) as a Born again Christian Nation, yet the truth is; America is hard core capitalist and imperialist nation, that largely thrives on sucking the blood of small nations especially in the developing world. The purpose of the prosperity Gospel is to promote capitalist greed or the love of materialism and the world. The more greedy human beings are the more profits the capitalist make. Be ware that this material prosperity gospel is AT TOTAL VARIANCE with the gosple of our lord Jesus Christ and his Kingdom. Having said this, I salute all the American servants of the lord Jesus Christ who preach the truth of the gospel in Africa. I salute the numerous American saints who continue to educate and warn us about the dangers of the material word faith prosperity gospel.

Ugandan Prosperity Pastor has been set on Fire by poor Locals: Pastor Joseph Kiwanuka of Agape Church

Pastor Robert Kayanja, Ugandan Police, Corruption, and Sodomy: You can fool People but you cant fool God

It is surprising that many born again Christians and ministers in Uganda are very ignorant of the fact that, the church is already facing the judgment of God. In 2007, I warned many pastors in Uganda about the coming judgment on the Pentecostal Ugandan church. I informed many people about the warning from God from websites such as; yesumulungi.com .Most of the born again Christians simply laughed at the whole idea, and some labeled us lunatics.

BE ware of Andrew Wommack’s false Gospel

Even as I write now, many born again Christians especially pastors are still spiritually un prepared for what is unfolding. They have stubbornly continued to embrace apostasy, and the American material prosperity gospel. Pastors continue to deceive their followers that, everything is okay. God is slowly but steadily separating the wheat from the chaff. Some born again saints have fled from prosperity churches. God is putting the hearts of ‘born again’ Christians on test . True born again Christians have started to realize that some pastors and their followers are not interested in the truth. Their God is POWER, MONEY AND PRESTIGE.

Pastor Imelda Numutebi Kula’s theology of Imagination: The forbidden tree that Adam and Eve ate of is the tithe

A couple of days ago, the Bombo road pastors fellowship organized a meeting to meet Pastor Robert Kayanja. Pastor Kayanja never showed up because some pastors called Robert Kayanja and told him that they did not want to meet him. During this meeting Apostle Mitala addressed the Pastors for over an hour; he rebuked them for greed and hypocrisy. Pastor Robert Kayanja sent a representative to the meeting who told the pastors that Pastor Robert Kayanja had told them that he loves Kawempe so much and that he had offered to air church announcements from Kawempe on his TV free of charge(this sounds like the old bribery antics of Pastor Kayanja).

I have also received information that that Pastor Kyazze one of the campaigners against sodomy in the church was invited by a group of pastors in Mbuya. He never showed up because he was threatened that if he stepped his foot there, they would hit his head with a metal. Can you imagine! Some ‘born again pastors’ are ready to kill for the sake of prosperity.

Joyce Meyer believes that Jesus paid for your sins in Hell and not on the cross

The confusing worlds of Benny Hinn

Some pastors are worried that they are loosing control over their flock. They are character assassinating other leaders in the church whom they suspect to be a threat to their power. Many Christians are confused about what is going on. God is using this to test the hearts of men. All, the wickedness and hypocrisy that has been hidden is slowly being exposed by God. The mind control antics of the pastors are becoming very ineffective since many Christians have started to question the god of their pastors.

A Cursed Generation of Pastors: Is Nigeria’s Rotten Prosperity Movement and Its CZARS/CEOs Ripe for Judgment?

I warn born again pastors and saints in Uganda to flee the material prosperity gospel. I warn the church in Uganda to stick to sound doctrine. I encourage born Christians who are facing persecutions in Uganda to persevere because God promised he will never leave us nor forsake us. All pastors who have refused to repent of greed, self indulgence, sexual abuse, and apostasy are going to be exposed by the Lord Jesus Christ. More SIN is going to be exposed. It is not too late to repent. Repent before it is too late. Separate from all apostasy now.

1Timothy 3: Traits of True Christian Leaders and Sound Doctrine

1Timothy 3: Traits of True Christian Leaders and Sound Doctrine

Kato Mivule | August 9, 2009

If there has to be anyone held responsible for permitting the False Teachings and Heresy we see today in our Christian Churches, it is the current lethargic Church Leadership...

Leadership Central to Sound Bible Doctrine…
There is absolutely every reason to believe that Paul the apostle in communicating to Timothy and Titus sought to make the point clear: that Leadership was central to the keeping of The Faith and Sound Bible Doctrine in the local Church.

One of the things that Satan has done in the past 2000 years to this day is to fill the local Church with Leaders who are totally given to the things and cares of this world and leaders that see the Gospel of Jesus Christ as a means to gain.

After writing on Evangelical Christianity for sometime now, some folks think that we are anti-leadership and kind of a people who believe in disorder and anarchy. Yet such assumptions are far from the truth and a mere expression of sentimentalism that some folks feel when their so-called Christian leaders are sincerely and objectively critiqued.

I do believe in godly Christian Leadership and we strongly believe at Yesu Mulungi in Christian Leadership given to the Teachings and Sayings of Jesus Christ – Christian Leaders given to Sound Bible Doctrine.

Christians Leaders should be held accountable to God’s Word…
I believe that Christian Leaders need to be held accountable to God’s Holy Word and to Sound Doctrine otherwise we stand to see the appearance of Pseudo-Christianity as it is already happening in many Christian Evangelical assemblies.

If we believe that the sayings of Jesus Christ and His lifestyle are true, then we ought to hold our leaders accountable to the Teachings of Jesus Christ. I have not so much consideration for so-called Christian Leaders who desire for Leadership in the Christian Church yet make it their trademark to trample down on the teachings and sayings of Jesus Christ.

Such leaders tend to be narcissistic and with passion for dominion and control… Sound Bible Doctrine and a Personal Relationship with Jesus Christ is not their concern… If it is, then it is only a means to an elite lifestyle.

Yet Christians who seek to walk in a daily relationship with Jesus Christ must take a look at what Paul wrote to Timothy concerning Christian Leaders and in turn hold their Christian Church leaders accountable to the writings and teachings in the New Testament.

Have Christians lost their basic reasoning?
The trouble in with most Christians is that they tend to misplace their reasoning and thinking when they get to Church and bogus and fake Church Leaders keep taking advantage of them.

This is widely happening in Africa especially in Uganda. So-called Church Leaders steal from Church Members, they defraud their followers, and they rape them, sodomize them, sexually abuse them, extort from them, and force them to support a profuse lifestyle of riches and materialism. Yet Ugandan Christians still pay homage to such leaders.

Yet still what is most disturbing in the Ugandan case is that most of the followers of the so-called Men of God are educated and at least with a College Degree according to Ugandan standards.

I took note of a number of followers of a certain Mega Church Prosperity Preacher in Kampala, Uganda…most of the followers I happened to know and come across attended Makerere University and Nkumba University – Uganda’s two major Institutions of Higher Education.

Yet these followers of the Mega Church Prosperity Preacher had no sense of reason, logic, and discernment and could not figure things out even when you presented to them the facts that they had been openly lied to by their Mega Church Prosperity Preacher.

The Office of a Bishop – a Good work…

1 Timothy 3:1
(1) This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.

Paul the apostle writes that if a man desires the office of a bishop, he desires a good work… The Office of a Bishop represents an overseer and superintendent. The Greek term for Bishop is…

G1984 | episkopē | ep-is-kop-ay'
From G1980; inspection (for relief); by implication superintendence; specifically the Christian “episcopate”: - the office of a “bishop”, bishoprick, visitation.

Inspection – Inspector…
The first point that we see here is that Paul the apostle is not anti-leadership… Paul the apostle also knew that he could not do all things alone but had to delegate duties to proven Christians who would ensure the continuation of the Christian faith.

Secondly there are those who would be called to the noble duty of Christian Leadership and they should not be mistaken for narcissists but rather Paul gives us clues or test marks to help us discern true Christian leaders from those who are not.

The prayer point here is that The Lord will raise True Christian Leaders in His Church today, leaders who truly love Jesus Christ and are committed to keeping the sayings, teachings, and living the lifestyle of Jesus Christ.

Of course the ‘Bishop’ here seemed to be a higher office than that of a Deacon and that is why Paul makes a distinction between the two in 1Timothy 3… Yet still the character traits that Paul the apostle lays out are applicable to all Christian Leaders in the Church…
One of the main duties of the Bishop – Superintendent, was to make sure that the Church kept to Sound Bible Doctrine and Faith in Jesus Christ… We see the term ‘inspection’ as in to inspect as one of the Greek definitions of the term ‘Bishop’.

Therefore Christian Teaching insofar as Faith in Jesus Christ was concerned was supposed to be in accordance to the Teachings and sayings of Jesus Christ. If anyone calls themselves Bishop yet their teachings and lifestyle contradict those of Jesus Christ, then such is not a Bishop but their ministry is a true red herring.

Qualities of the Christian Leader…

Christian Leaders must be Family centered…

1 Timothy 3:2
(2) A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

It is interesting to note that the office of the Bishop is accorded to men according to 1Timothy 3… There are those who claim to be women Bishops or women superintendents in the Church, yet this would totally contradict scripture and 1Timothy 2.

As I discussed in my previous article on the subject, the issue is not ministry but Leadership and Authority which The Lord out of His Wisdom and order of things has seen it fit to have Leadership and Authority be headed by men.

Back to the subject of qualifications of a Christian Leader, we see Paul mention the following traits in this verse concerning the qualification of a Bishop…

A Bishop must be blameless…
Not in scandals… Sometimes people will blame leaders falsely but a true Christian Leader should avoid placing themselves in settings that cause them to be in scandals in the first place… One Preacher was accused of being engaging in sodomy but he kept walking and “paling around” with many young boys some of whom later accused him of sodomy…

A Bishop must be Husband to one wife…
Family is important here and certainly marriage. The Bishop must be husband to one wife and not multiple wives. This is one area that has been greatly abused by so-called Church leaders who see it fit to throw out their wives and run for younger women in their congregations. A certain Bishop on TBN TV divorced his long time wife and headed to marry quickly another woman of his choice, then quickly assumed office as Bishop again. Such are pseudo bishops and only consumed with narcissistic egos.

A Bishop must be Vigilant…
That is they must be watchful and discerning, they must be on the look out for false teachers who might try to come into the flock by stealth and deposit deception into the flock… They must also be watchful for The Lord’s Second Coming as The Lord commanded His Church to be watchful till He comes.

A Bishop must be Sober…
That is they must be clear-headed so that they can think with clarity and objectively look at things… Many so-called bishops today in the Evangelical Church are drunk with the love for things of this world and more materialism…

A Bishop must be of Good behavior…
Character is important here… We also notice that all these traits of a Christian Leader take time to develop and so is the reason why ‘newbies’ should be allowed into positions of Christian Leadership…

A Bishop should be given to Hospitality…
Yes, they should be hospitable and that means approachable but with discernment…love with all discernment so that you don’t be taken advantage of. Yet still many so-called leaders of our day are unapproachable and live like Presidents and Hollywood Movie Stars… One “Christian Leader” in Kampala, Uganda moves around with a security detail accorded to him by the President…why would a Christian leader need bodyguards with guns while he preaches on the pulpit?

A Bishop/Christian Leader is able to teach…
This is one of the most important traits of a Bishop…he must be able to teach Sound Bible Doctrine… He must be able to give a defense for The Faith to those who seek to derail the Faith of many in the Church… He must be able to instruct the believers in the scriptures. Yet many so-called Bishops in Christendom cannot explain simple scriptures to the believers, many cannot teach and instruct believers in the teachings and sayings of Jesus Christ…

A Bishop – not greedy for money…

1 Timothy 3:3
(3) Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;

We basically see that verse 3 is a continuation of the character traits that a bishop must have…

Not given to wine… Not a drunkard…
Not a Striker… Violent…or given to Violence…
Not greedy for money - filthy lucre… Many Bishops I see on Christian TV today are champions of the gospel of greed and materialism a.k.a. the Prosperity Gospel… This goes out for all Christian Leaders… The Love of money and materialism has derailed the faith and ministries of many Christian Leaders…
Patient… A call for patience is key… Patience in Trails and Tribulation… Remember that the Church then in Paul’s times was undergoing heavy persecution and this called for Christian Leaders who had to display patience and endurance as an example to other Christians, especially those ‘young’ Christians in the faith… Yet still patience was key when it came to teaching Sound Bible Doctrine as different folks take different times to come to understanding…
Not a Brawler… Not given to violence…
Not Covetous… Not given to greed and love for materialism…
Christian Leaders should rule their house well…

1Timothy 3:4-5
(4) One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
(5) (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

Family is important and a trait that Christian Leaders must have… If one cannot rule their house well, then how do they expect to take care of the Church of God? This involves raising Children who are well disciplined in Christian Family values; children who respect their parents and are not in rebellion.

I know one Pastor who claimed that since he is not a Bishop, he is not accountable to this verse…this Pastor did not care about the example he was setting for his flock…

Yet still ruling ones’ house also involves a respectful and loving relationship between the Christian leader and his wife… Many preachers of the gospel spend hours and days in the field and neglect their wives and children…this ought not to be so… One minister when confronted over the issue of not spending time with his family gave a lame excuse and claimed that his wife is a ‘Jezebel’…

Christian Leaders must not be Novices…

1Timothy 2:6
(6) Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.

One of the things that Paul warns about is the appointing of leaders in churches who are young spiritually and novices.

The main reason is if you study the traits that Paul outlines to Timothy, you find out pretty soon that a Bishop’s Character is developed over time and not in a fortnight.
A Bishop’s Character takes time to be proven…it takes time raising a family for example; and therefore a novice would not have had the time to develop character.

It takes time to develop patience and endurance. Life’s experiences are used by The Lord to shape the character of His Leaders and therefore novices are still wanting.

Secondly, if a novice is selected as a Christian Leader, then they risk falling into temptation of pride and aloofness, falling into condemnation of the devil.

Many Church Leaders have fallen into temptation for money, wealth, riches, infidelity, and heresy because of being catapulted to leadership while spiritually immature. As such many leaders in the church today are novices who are self appointed and go along with the various winds of doctrine…

A Christian Leader not filled with scandals…

1Timothy 3:7

(7) Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

I have no need to write more about the scandals that are rocking the Evangelical Church today… The Local Newspapers are full of such reports… Yet the Bible is clear that Bishops or Christian Leaders for that matter must be of good report among the none Christian Community.

Of course we know that some Christian Leaders are falsely accused and scandalized but yet this should be because of your Faith in Jesus Christ and not because you are a thief, a tax cheat, a sodomite, wife snatcher, liar etc…

It is sad that many “Christian Leaders” today in Christendom are rightly accused of the evils that they do… Many engage in all sorts of vices and evils, taking advantage of their flock.

Yet what such a testimony does is to negate the True Testimony of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

There is no reason why any married Christian Leader should ‘pal around’ with young women in the evenings and then complain when he is accused of infidelity…

Godly character is imperative and goes along with Sound Bible Doctrine… The two cannot be separated and any Christian desiring leadership should seek the two by the grace of The Lord… Paul the apostle seems to address the two issues to Timothy is his letters to Timothy – Sound Bible Doctrine and Godly Character in the Church.

Traits of a Deacon - Minister…

1Timothy 3:8-13
(8) Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
(9) Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
(10) And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.
(11) Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
(12) Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
(13) For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

G1249 | diakonos | dee-ak'-on-os
Probably from διάκω diakō (obsolete, to run on errands; compare G1377); an attendant, that is, (generally) a waiter (at table or in other menial duties); specifically a Christian teacher and pastor (technically a deacon or deaconess): - deacon, minister, servant.

Paul the apostle makes a turn here in his letter and begins to address the issue of appointing Deacons. Deacons were like assistants to the Bishop and the distinction here makes it clear that the Bishop was of more authority than the Deacon in the Local Church. The Bishop was the overseer yet the Deacon was the Teacher and Pastor… Sometimes referred to as associate Pastor or assistant Pastor though the term assistant/associate Pastor is not found in the Bible.

Yet I believe that the Bishop was not alone, we still see a five fold ministry in play here as Paul was the Apostle, then we had the Bishop and then the Deacons… The important point is not the Titles but the office that these folks occupied. I believe it was all a team effort and never a ‘One Man’s Show’.

There could have been multiple bishops/overseers in a local church locality and multiple deacons depending on the geographical size of the Church. Many Churches have a one man ministry headed by a single Pastor which I find troubling and disturbing as the Pastor is always the main guy and always turns out to be a ‘One Man’s Show’ ministry.

Ephesians 4:11-14
(11) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
(12) For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
(13) Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:
(14) That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

There were the five-fold ministers in the Church too, perhaps not in one local Church but a local geographical area… It is the Holy Spirit who gives gifts as He desires…Yet still all the five-fold ministers were given to Sound Bible Doctrine and Godly Character just like the Bishops and Deacons were called to.

The point is not who is greatest but ministry to the saints…so that they are grounded in The Lord and not swept by various winds of false doctrines… I know many ministers who waste time indulging in titles but care little about the office and ministry to the saints…

Women Deacons or Deaconess…?
It is at this point that I believe there could be ‘Women’ Deacons/Deaconess perhaps in charge of Women’s ministry (which is a very big duty as the number of women way outnumbers men in population)… However, I still believe that the Authority and Leadership was ordered for men in the Local Church according to The Lord’s Wisdom, mind and will…

Romans 16:1-2
(1) I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea:
(2) That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succorer of many, and of myself also.

We see that Phoebe was a minister at the local Church in Cenchrea… Paul the apostle refers to her as a servant of the Church at Cenchrea… From the Greek word servant, we see that she was a deaconess…

In summary, deacons must be…

Grave… Honorable, Respectable to the outside none Christian world…
Not Doubletongued… Not Liars…
Not given to much wine… Not drunkards…
Not Greedy for Filthy Lucre… Not greedy for money…
Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience… Loving Jesus Christ purely…
They have to be proven…tested and being blameless…
Their wives must be honorable, and respectable, not slanderers but faithful…
They must be husbands of one wife…not two or three…
They must rule their children and houses well…
Order in the House of God…

1Timothy 3:14-16
(14) These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly:
(15) But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
(16) And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Paul’s writing to Timothy was to help Timothy have some order in the local church. He was to avoid any disorder and anarchy but have leadership that was central to grounding believers in the Faith in Jesus Christ and not to be swept away by false doctrines.

Paul writes to Timothy that without controversy is the mystery of godliness… Interesting that Paul uses the phrase ‘without controversy of godliness’ yet earlier Paul writes to Timothy that he might know how to behave in the house of God…

In other words, there should be no confusion when it comes to Faith in Jesus Christ. Truth in Jesus Christ should be clear and precise without any controversies and complications attached to it as many Theologians try to do today.

It is Paul who wrote that God is not the author of confusion. Yet still the Theology and character of many so-called Christian leaders today is one of confusion, controversy, and scandals.

What we have today is ‘organized spiritual anarchy’ in Christendom as much as it might sound as an oxymoron but it is the truth… To elaborate, you have for example so-called organized leaders who trample down on Sound Bible Doctrine and live very ungodly lives given to materialism, greed, and sexual perversion…

Such leaders are a hindrance to the True Gospel of Jesus Christ and have created controversy when it comes to preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ because of their hypocritical character.

Police get Kayanja off the hook; charge pastors

News | August 9, 2009

Chris Obore

Police have cleared Pastor Robert Kayanja of Miracle Centre Cathedral of sodomy allegations. Instead, the Police have written to the Director of Public Prosecutions urging him to brings charges against four pastors who reportedly assisted some people to allege that Pastor Kayanja had sodomised them.

According to the report entitled Sodomy cases against Pastor Kayanja, a copy of which Sunday Monitor has obtained, there is no evidence to pin Pastor Kayanja.
The police investigators concluded thus: “In each of the complaints of sodomy against Pastor Robert Kayanja, the investigations did not reveal any evidence of such offence(s) committed. Further, following medical examination of the complainants, the Police surgeon did not find any evidence of sodomy.”

The report furthers states that pastors Martin Sempa, Moses Solomon Male, Michael Kyazze, Felix Semujju and Bo Kayiira reportedly influenced Pastor Kayanja’s accusers.
The Police say one of the complainants Samson Mukisa used pseudo names.
“The complainant’s real name is not Samson Mukisa as alleged in the affidavit, he is Musasizi Robert Kaliba. He has never been a member of Miracle Centre and a leader of Music Group ‘A’ and there is no Music Group ‘A’ at Miracle Centre Rubaga,” reads the police report.

The police say all the complainants retracted their earlier statements against Pastor Kayanja saying that they had been incited by the four pastors to wrongly accuse Kayanja.
“In a statement dated 15th and 20th May 2009 Mukisa retracted the allegation indicating he had not been sodomised by Pastor Kayanja but was influenced by Pastors Male, Kayira, Kyazze, Sempa and Semujju as to make the allegations,” reads the report.

“I, therefore, recommend that the persons who conspired and mobilised the complainants to make false allegations against Pastor Robert Kayanja be charged with the offence of conspiracy to injure the reputation of Pastor Kayanja, contrary to Section 392(b) of the Penal Code Act,” reads the report prepared by D/SP Grace Akullo.

Ms Akullo who is the Acting Commissioner for General Crimes also wrote: “I further recommend that the persons who were so mobilised be retained as witnesses in this case.”
The police also say Pastor Kayira and Pastor Kyazze had “planned to trespass in the Rubaga based Miracle Centre Cathedral with intent to steal property of the Miracle Centre Rubaga.”

They say Pastor Kayira was arrested from within Miracle Centre Rubaga area in company of a motorcycle rider one Seremba Gadafi whom he had hired from Namasuba.
However, the accused pastors sounded unbothered yesterday. “I have not yet seen the report but it was expected. The investigative machinery of Police is controlled by people who shield criminals,” said Pastor Male.

“The police have actually worked for Kayanja but we will be happy to be in the dock and prove that Police and Kayanja are the same,” he added.
Early this year, Pastor Kayanja paid for the sprucing up of Old Kampala Police Station in a move some people believe was to soften the ground for himself ahead of the homo scandal.
And another pastor, Martin Sempa said yesterday that “we have had low hope in the capacity of Police to be unbiased.”

“This is a travesty of justice. Even before they examined the statement of Kayanja, they had declared him innocent,” said Pastor Sempa.
He said they were shocked that police would stoop so low as to protect a powerful individual and not the victims.

“This case had drama, there were fake kidnaps and the boys were taken through a tortuous process,” he said. Pastor Ssempa however revealed that they had several other sodomy victims whom they will present to court as witnesses. He said they feared to present the victims to police because they had taken sides with Pastor Kayanja.

“Police itself is under investigation; its Police on trial,” he said adding that: “Police buildings were renovated by Robert Kayanja.” The pastors are furious that the police were hindering the fight against sexual abuse in the Church.

They said Good Samaritans were now being prosecuted for helping victims and have also called upon parents and other Church leaders to stand firm in the fight against sodomy which is a criminal offence under Uganda’s laws.

Police clear Pastor Kayanja of sodomy

By Patrick Jaramogi

THE POLICE yesterday described allegations of sodomy against Pastor Robert Kayanja of Rubaga Miracle Centre as “baseless”, “fabricated” and “full of lies”.

“We have been carrying out investigations following allegations of sodomy by Pastor Robert Kayanja. The allegations were grave because they involved the church, but the revelations were unbelievable,” said Edward Ochom, the Director of Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID), at a press conference at his headquarters in Kibuli.

“Pastor Kayanja has no case because all six complainants who reported to the Police have retracted their complaints, saying they were set up by some pastors. We shall proceed with the case when any other person comes up with a complaint.”

The Police listed Samson Mukisa, David Mukalazi, Brian Ntwata, Robson Matovu, Ronnie Mutebi and Brian Ankansima as people who have since retracted their statements.

Ochom warned of stern measures against people who tell lies to the Police.
“These people have been summoned to explain.”

He listed those summoned as pastors Martin Ssempa of Makerere University Community Church; Michael Kyazze, Robert Kayiira and Lendo Anita Kyomuhendo of Omega Healing Centre; and Solomon Male.

“We want them at the CID headquarters today. If they don’t respond, we shall arrest them,” Ochom warned.

According to Ochom, Mukisa, the 19-year-old boy who alleged he was sodomised by Kayanja in a hotel, confessed that he had been used.

“When our senior detectives called Mukisa for interrogation, he confessed that what he swore in the affidavit were lies. Mukisa said that he was paid sh50,000 per month to damage Pastor Kayanja,” said Ochom.

However, Mukisa at a press conference convened by Male on Saturday said he had been forced by CID officers to retract his earlier statements at gun point.

“I was put at gunpoint and forced to retract and sign a new statement. I feared for my life,” he told journalists. Mukisa is being accommodated by Omega Healing Centre in Namasuba.

In his affidavit, presented by Kaggwa and Company Advocates, Mukisa alleged that he was heading a music group at Kayanja’s ministry for street children which won a music competition and that after the party, Kayanja drove him to an unknown hotel and sodomised him.

“Mukisa alleged that his anus was shattered and that Kayanja brought a female doctor who stitched it. When we took him for medical examination, the Police surgeon found that his anus was intact and had never been stitched,” said Ochom.

He said investigations found out that Mukisa had never been taken to the children’s home.

“In his affidavit he said that his father was the late Richard Bulega of Kitende in Kajjansi and that his mother, Oliver Nansubuga, died in 2008. But when we interrogated him, he said his father was Richard Muyingo and his mother is still alive.”

“Mukisa later told us that he was being used by some pastors.”

Ochom vowed that the Police would not tolerate lies by church leaders.

“We are not going to allow people who are not credible to lead institutions like the church. The church is an institution of high morals.”

The conflict between rival Pentecostal churches, which compete for members, ‘sowing’ money and funds from US churches, has deepened in recent weeks, with pastors

accusing each other of homosexuality, kidnap and bribing people to frame them.

Andrew Wommack's Confused Gospel : Half Truth mixed with error = error:The foolishness of Calvinism versus The foolishness of Arminianism

The foolishness of Calvinism is in its denial of scriptures that support Arminianism and the foolishness of Arminianism is in its denial of scriptures that support Calvinism. There is a need to harmonize Calvinism and Arminianism.

Andrew Wommack’s Hyper Arminianism

For quite some time, I was perplexed by Mr. Andrew Wommack’s gospel on LTV in Uganda(Andrew Wommack has even opened up a shop in Kampala, where his materials are sold) . He some times begins his TV programme in truth, but as he sinks deeper and deeper into his programme, his gospel get more and more confused. I started to ask my self a question; what are the theological foundations of this teacher. Well, Mr. Andrew Wommack is a hyper Arminian. Now in order to understand Arminianism, one needs to understand Calvinism because Arminianism is a reaction to Calvinism. This Calvinism Versus Arminianism debate is one of the most controversial debates in the church today.

The foolishness of Calvinism versus The foolishness of Arminianism

The foolishness of Calvinism is in its denial of scriptures that support Arminianism and the foolishness of Arminianism is in its denial of scriptures that support Calvinism. There is a need to harmonize Calvinism and Arminianism. God sovereignty does not negate human freedom and human freedom does not negate God’s sovereignty. In his absolute sovereignty, God has chosen to give man freedom to even rebel against him even after being given the grace to be saved. God does not control human beings like robots. If human beings were simply cogs in a machine, then God would be unjust to punish them in hell. How can God condemn some body for disobedience, yet he/she was simply determined by God to disobey. This is a serious dilemma for Calvinists.

It is fallacious for Word faith prosperity Gospel Armenians like Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland and Price to hiss that we should never go before God and say, ‘Let your will be done’’. According to Hinn these are faith destroying words(compare with (Matthew 26:39- where the Lord Jesus Christ prayed that God’s will should be done). It is blasphemous for the likes of Kenneth Copeland to hiss that when Adam and Eve sinned, God was kicked out of the earth on a legal technicality, and therefore he needed men of faith like Abraham to reinforce his sovereignty back to the universe. What nonsense!!! If God was kicked out on technicality, how comes he destroyed people with a flood in Genesis Chapter 7 ??? I urge you, to read Hank Hanegraaf’s expose titled, ‘’ Christianity in Crisis, Harvest House Publishers, 1997, especially chapter 24 on Sovereignty and sickness.

Hyper Calvinism’s attack of the gospel of free will

Calvinism Versus Arminianism

The Five Points of Calvinism(T.U.L.I.P)

Calvinists argue that if Christ takes the punishment in the place of a particular sinner, that person must be saved since it would be unjust for him then to be condemned for the same sins…. Calvinists view the atonement as a penal substitution (that is, Jesus was punished in the place of sinners), and since, Calvinists argue, it would be unjust for God to pay the penalty for some people's sins and then still condemn them for those sins, all those whose sins were atoned for must necessarily be saved.

The Five Points of Arminiainsm

Andrew Wommack and TBN word Faith phantoms

I understand Andrew Wommack is a great fun of Kenneth Copeland and Kenneth Hagin who teach that faith is a force with a negative and positive side or pole. When you speak negative words like; I want to die, I’m broke, I’m sick, then the negative pole will be activated and therefore you will die, be poor and get sick. The negative pole or side represents satan and the positive pole represents God. So, when you speak negative words you activate satan and when you speak positive words you activate God. In other words God is a being governed by laws. No wonder they hate the sovereignty of God. This theology is from the world of the occult. Andrew Womack believes that if five people pray for a person, and 3 of them have unbelief, that person will not be healed. Therefore he advises people to avoid being prayed for by people who lack faith.

Andrew is implicitly invoking Copeland’s ‘force of faith’ theology. The likes of Copeland and Andrew Wommack believe that God is governed by LAWS such as; the law of faith. The more you discover the laws the more you will manipulate things in your favour after all, God can not act out side his LAWS. They actually believe that God has faith. According to Copeland God can not do anything outside faith. Precisely , Faith is God’s source of power.I once again urge, African saints to read Hank Hanegraaf’s expose titled, ‘’ Christianity in Crisis, Harvest House Publishers, 1997,especially chapter five on the force of faith, you life will never be the same

Compare Andrew Wommack’s amazing heresies below with the following scriptures

11And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD? (Exodus 4:11)

71It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes…. 75I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me. (Psalm 119:71& 75)

5And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house. And Jotham the king's son was over the house, judging the people of the land.(2 Kings 15:5)

19And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings. 20And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season. (Luke 1:19-20)

21And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. 22And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man. 23And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.(Acts 12:21-23)

These word faith parrots have come up with their own bibles which defend their heresies. For example in Kenneth Copeland’s version of the bible, Mark 11:22, reads ‘’have the faith of God’’ instead of ‘’have faith in God’’. According to Copeland, God has faith. See, Kenneth Copeland, Holy bible: Kenneth Copeland reference edition, Fort Worth, TX, Kenneth Copeland Ministries, 1991. If you carefully examine Luke 23:43 in Joyce Meyer’s version of the bible it reads, ‘’I tell you today, you will be with me in paradise’’. So, putting the comma after the word TODAY implies that after dying on the cross Jesus went to hell to pay for our sins. Many born Christians like to ‘enjoy every day life’(foolery) with Joyce Meyer but they are un aware of the fact that she believes that Jesus did not pay for our sins on the cross, but rather in hell.

Faith teachers read Mark 11:22( have faith in God) as have the faith of God
Faith use Hebrews 11:3 (Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by God) to defend the heresy that God has faith. However scripture say, ‘’We throught faith..’’ who? WE

Andrew Wommack’s ridiculous heresies

The more you know about faith and how it works, the better it will work for you. If all you knew was that you have the same faith Jesus has, then that would remove hopelessness and motivate you. People would eventually see results if they just kept trying, but they give up easily because they believe they don't have what it takes. That is not true. The Lord has given us everything we need, including all the faith we need. We just need to acknowledge what we have and begin to learn the LAWS that govern the operation of GOD'S FAITH.

SEE, The Faith Of God

believe this is the worst doctrine in the church today. I know that this is a shocking statement and is near blasphemy to some people, but the way sovereignty" is taught today is a real faith killer. The belief that God controls everything that happens to us is one of the devil's biggest inroads into our lives. If this belief is true, then our actions are irrelevant, and our efforts are meaningless. What will be will be.

If we believe that God wills everything, good or bad, to happen to us, it gives us some temporary relief from confusion and condemnation, but in the long-term, it slanders God, hinders our trust in God, and leads to passiveness.

SEE, The Sovereignty Of God

God has already placed His healing power within us, and it is now under our authority. It isn’t up to God to determine who receives healing; it’s up to us! What a powerful statement! It’s our failure to understand and use the authority we have that is keeping God's healing power from flowing as it should. It's imperative that we discover what we have and learn how to release it. If you don't have my album entitled The Believer's Authority, you need to get it. The message will not only affect the way you receive and minister healing, but it will change the entire way you relate to God. It's a powerful teaching.

Here's another indispensable basic truth you must know and understand about healing: It's never God's will for us to be sick; He wants every person healed every time. That's nearly-too-good-to-be-true news, but that's the Gospel. Most Christians don't know or believe that. They think the Lord makes them sick, or at the very least, He allows Satan to make them sick to either punish or correct them. That kind of thinking will get you killed; it's not what the Bible teaches.

One of the most elementary principles in God's Word is given in James 4:7. It says,
"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
This verse clearly teaches that some things are of God, and some things are of the devil. Notice it doesn't present a third category: from God through the devil. No! Sickness has nothing to do with God! Submit to the things of God, and resist the things of the devil. It's that simple. To believe that God allows or approves of Satan's actions defies the logic of James 4:7. It eliminates our responsibility to resist and places ultimate responsibility for everything back on God.

The widely-accepted doctrine that God controls everything is a deception. If Satan can confuse and deceive you on that issue, he's got you! Why? Because you'll stop resisting. No one wants to resist God's will, and if you think that God is behind your sickness, you'll submit to it. That violates the instruction of James 4:7, it won't get you healed, and it lets Satan have his way in your life.
SEE, Faith For Healing Is Based On Knowledge

‘’Did you know a Christian can actually die from sickness or disease while the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lies dormant within them?...’’
‘’Your soul wasn’t saved either. You may have the same thoughts and emotions you had before you were saved. And because of that, some people seriously doubt whether or not they are saved. They don’t understand that the change took place in their spirits. Typically, your body and soul are both impacted by what happens at salvation, but that’s not where the complete change took place.’’

SEE, Understanding Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have been deceived into believing prayer is all about persuading God to release His power. We believe He can save, heal, and deliver but that He is waiting on us to shape up and earn it. The truth is, we don’t deserve it, and we will never be good enough. Because of Jesus, all that God has is ours. That’s good news. We no longer need to beg or plead; we need to exercise the authority He as given us and receive His blessings.

First, we need to recognize that God isn’t angry at mankind anymore. He is no longer imputing or holding our sins against us.
“God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation” (2 Cor. 5:19).

We are NOW reconciled to God through Jesus. That means we are in harmony and are friendly with God right now. He isn’t mad; He’s not even in a bad mood. The war between God and man is over. That’s what the angels proclaimed at the birth of Jesus.
Luke 2:14 says,

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”
These angels weren’t saying that peace would reign on earth and wars between people would cease. That certainly hasn’t happened. They were proclaiming the end of the war between God and man. Jesus paid a price that was infinitely greater than the sins of the whole human race.

God’s wrath and justice have been satisfied. Jesus changed everything. God isn’t angry. His mercy extends to all men. He loves the world, not only the church, but the whole world. He paid for all sin.

The Scriptures say in 1 John 2:2,
“And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”

SEE, A Better Way To Pray

In verse 7, right after the thorn in the flesh is mentioned, there is a phrase set off by commas which says, "The messenger of Satan to buffet me." This is an explanation of what the thorn was. It was not a thing but rather a demonic messenger. The word used as "messenger" here is always translated as angel or messenger and refers to a created being. So, Paul's thorn was literally a demon sent from Satan to buffet him. The word "buffet" means to strike repeatedly as waves would buffet the shore.

How did this demonic force continually strike Paul? Traditionally it has been taught that it was with sickness, and the thing that made many accept that is the use of the words "weakness" and "infirmity" in verses 9 and 10. Infirmity definitely does mean sickness and is used that way in 1 Timothy 5:23, but that is not the only meaning of the word. The number two definition is any lack or inadequacy. For instance, Romans 8:26 says, "the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities." In this case, the context makes it clear that it is not speaking of sicknesses but rather not knowing what to pray for. Our finite minds are an infirmity, or an inadequacy.

If we look at the context of Paul's thorn in the flesh, we find that infirmity does not mean sickness in 2 Corinthians 12:9 and 10. In 2 Corinthians 11:30, Paul uses the exact terminology of "glorying in infirmities" that is used just a few verses later in speaking about this thorn. In the eleventh chapter he had just finished listing what those infirmities were. In verses 23-29, he lists such things as imprisonment, stripes, shipwrecks, and stonings; none of these speak of sickness. Verse 27 mentions weakness and painfulness, which some have tried to make mean sickness, but it is just as possible he could have been weary and suffered painfulness from such things as being stoned and left for dead (Acts 14:19). All these things listed in 2 Corinthians 11 refer to persecutions as infirmities. So, in context, Paul's thorn was a demonic angel or messenger sent by Satan which continually stirred up persecution against him. This is also verified by three Old Testament references (Num. 33:55; Josh. 23:13 and Judg. 2:3), where people are spoken of as being "thorns in your sides" and "thorns in your eyes."

Paul asked the Lord to remove persecution from him, not sickness, and the Lord told him His grace was sufficient. We are not redeemed from persecution, and Paul later stated that when he said in 2 Timothy 3:12, "All that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution." Most gladly, therefore, he gloried in persecutions, reproaches, necessities, and distresses that the power of Christ might rest upon him (2 Cor. 12:9). The word "glory" is an old English word which means to have dominion over or command. It is used in Exodus 8:9 where Moses told Pharaoh to glory over him, or command him, when to destroy the frogs. So when Paul spoke of glorying in these infirmities or persecutions, he was speaking of victory even in the midst of continual harassment.

Andrew Wommack's Gosple of error

Andrew Wommack is a radio teacher who advocates the “prosperity gospel” (God wants every person to be wealthy and never to be sick). He is a man who no doubt has sincere motives and who works hard to minister the Word of God to people. In my judgment, however, his errors are so severe that his ministry does a great deal of harm, and I strongly recommend against ever listening to or reading any of his material.

In Wommack’s article titled “The Sovereignty of God” he begins by relating the story of a friend who had been bitter and angry at God because of some suffering. The friend had humbled himself, however, and was back to loving God because the friend had discovered the doctrine of the sovereignty of God and had resigned himself to God’s full control. Wommack’s next statement is this: “I believe this is the worst doctrine in the church today” because it is “a faith killer.” He continues: “The belief that God controls everything that happens to us is one of the devil's biggest inroads into our lives.” In the same article Wommack states that God does not damn people to hell. It is only their free will that does so.

Wommack goes on to say that even worse that living independently from God is “religion teaching us that all our problems are actually blessings from God. That is a faith killer.” He states that the only time affliction ever comes from God is as a curse, never a blessing. But the psalmist doesn’t agree.

Psalm 119:71 It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees. This false doctrine leads Wommack into a system of self-reliance. Since God cannot help we are left to help ourselves. This explains why Wommack makes such statements as, “You have a tumor? Don’t pray to God about the tumor. Talk to the tumor itself!” Wommack believes in the “Word of Faith” theology that conceives of faith as a force conveyed by words that bring about reality.

If you say, “I think I’m going to get a cold” you will actually create the cold (unless someone else counters your negative words by saying something positive). All of this takes place independently of God.

In his series titled “The Believer’s Authority” he tells the story of when his infant son kept waking up all through the night with symptoms of croup so severe that he could hardly breathe. This happened every half hour all night long. Finally his mother said, “Admit it Andy, he’s sick.” Wommack said, “Man I got right down in her face and stuck my finger in her face and I said, ‘Satan in the name of Jesus I command you to shut up. … And for two days she never said a word. We were on vacation.

It was an awesome vacation – you can imagine.” Wommack teaches that God gave man all authority on earth, so that God Himself had no authority. The reason Jesus had to come in human flesh was to gain that human authority. He teaches that God had limited His own authority by giving it to man such that God was unable to speak Jesus’ body into existence.

And so God had to find men to do it on their authority. It took God 4000 years to find enough men with enough combined authority to create Jesus’ body. Apart from the help of men God was unable to create a body for Jesus. In part 3 of “The Believer’s Authority” Wommack utters this blaspheme: “When (people) see that some sickness, disease, tragedy comes into their life, instead of taking their authority and rebuking the devil and commanding him to leave, instead they go to God … and they beg God, ‘Oh God please change this situation.

Oh God please get the devil off my back.’ And it’s not within God’s power and authority. He gave us that power and authority.” He teaches that it is wrong to pray for revival, because that is to usurp Christ’s role as intercessor. The responsibility is completely ours, and so it is wrong to ask God for revival or for Him to have mercy on sinners.

Scripture is very clear that trials are indeed from God, and that God does indeed control all things.

Ecclesiastes 7:14 When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider: God has made the one as well as the other. Job 1:21-22 "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised." 22 In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing. Job 2:1 9-10 His wife said to him, "Are you still holding on to your integrity? Curse God and die!" 10 He replied, "You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?" In all this, Job did not sin in what he said. Lamentations 3:38 Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that both calamities and good things come? Daniel 4:35 He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him: "What have you done?" Psalm 135:6 The LORD does all that he pleases, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths. Ephesians 1:11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will Isaiah 46:10-11 I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please. 11 From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that will I bring about; what I have planned, that will I do.

The total control of God over all things is one of the most comforting and wonderful doctrines in Scripture. If God is not in control of the calamities and sufferings in your life, then those calamities are meaningless. And if God has no ability to prevent them, then how can we take comfort in His promises to protect and care for us? It is the denial, not the affirmation of God’s sovereignty that is a faith killer.

•Teaches Trichotomy

Andrew Wommack believes that man is made up of three parts: the body (material), the soul (immaterial), and the spirit (immaterial). This view is known as trichotomy; however, Wommack doesn’t stop there. He claims that when a person is saved, his spirit is made completely perfect. However, his soul and body are not. His soul is described as “a valve on a faucet” which “controls the rate and volume of the flow of the spirit into your body,” leading to sanctification, joy, health, wealth, and prosperity. In terms of sanctification, this is a sort of Keswick trichotomy-seeing faith as giving us access to the hidden “blessings” locked up in our spirit. (This is a viewpoint which, according to J. I. Packer in his book Keep in Step with the Spirit, “sounds more like an adaptation of yoga than like biblical Christianity” [p. 26].)

In response, I will question whether trichotomy is a doctrine that is clearly taught in the Bible. Then, I will argue that even if trichotomy is true, Wommack’s view of our “spirit” is false. Much of this response comes from Wayne Grudem’s Systematic Theology, pp. 472-482.

•Teaches Word of Faith theology.

Example: “God has already placed His healing power within us, and it is now under our authority. It isn’t up to God to determine who receives healing; it’s up to us!” - Andrew Wommack, Faith For Healing Is Based On Knowledge.

Wommack believes in the “Word of Faith” theology that conceives of faith as a force conveyed by words that bring about reality.

It was an awesome vacation – you can imagine.”

Wommack teaches that God gave man all authority on earth, so that God Himself had no authority.

He gave us that power and authority.”

He teaches that it is wrong to pray for revival, because that is to usurp Christ’s role as intercessor. The responsibility is completely ours, and so it is wrong to ask God for revival or for Him to have mercy on sinners.

Andrew Wommack's teaching exposed by calvinist

Andrew Wommack says:

"You need a healing? You have a tumor? Don't pray to God about the tumor Talk to the tumor itself!’’

But the bible says:

James 5:14
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let him pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

Why is Andrew Wommack a false teacher?

1) Andrew Wommack is a 5 point arminian who despises the true sovereignty of God and preaches against the doctrines of grace.

2) Andrew Wommack says the biggest false teaching in the body of Christ is 'The sovereignty of God'

3) Andrew believes if you are sick it is all your fault and you are not to pray to God to heal you, but speak to the sickness and cast it away, and if you dont get healed it is because of your unbelief which does not please the Lord.

4) Andrew is a word faith teacher and a huge fan of Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth Copeland and Charles Capps etc, 90% of his teachings come directly from these men.

5) Andrew believes that in order to get more money you should actually speak to your wallet and command more money to come your way - this is where the nickname 'name it claim it' - 'blab it grab it' comes from.

6) Andrew teaches decisional regeneration.

Andrew Wrote: "It is assumed that since God is paramount or supreme that nothing can happen without His approval. That is not what the Scriptures teach. In 2 Peter 3:9, Peter said, "The Lord is...not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." This clearly states that it is not the Lord's will for anyone to perish, but people are perishing."..Relatively few people are saved compared to the number that are lost. God's will for people concerning salvation is not being accomplished. (Andrew Wommack - The Sovereignty Of God)

Well, This is nothing more and nothing less than blasphemy.
You will see below that Andrew has butchered this verse as he does to so much of God's word in order to make the word of God conform to his heretical teachings.
Let's see what the scripture really says:

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

In Job we read the following:

Job 23:13 But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.

Who is the usward? - obviously it's the elect, because Peter is writing to:

2 peter 1:1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

Reading such heresy does make me wonder what Andrew Wommack does with this verse:

Psalms 65:4 “Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.”

It says above that God causes the one he has chosen to approach him and recieve mercy.

what about this verse?

Psalms 110:3 “Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.”

and this one?

John 6:37 “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me;

Jesus said that they SHALL come to him, not maybe but SHALL. You will also see that it is all that the Father gives to him.

John 6:44 “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day."

Below is a link to more articles in defence of the biblical doctrine of God's sovereign irresistible grace.

It get's even worse:

"This is because the Lord gave us the freedom to choose. He doesn't will anyone into hell. He paid for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2; 1 Tim. 4:10), but we must choose to put our faith in Christ and receive His salvation. People are the ones choosing hell by not choosing Jesus as their Savior. It is the free will of man that damns them, not God.

People virtually have to climb over the roadblocks that God puts in their way to continue on their course to hell. The cross of Christ and the drawing power of the Holy Spirit are obstacles that every sinner encounters. No one will ever stand before God and be able to fault Him for withholding the opportunity to be saved. The Lord woos every person to Him, but we have to cooperate. Ultimately, the Lord simply enforces the consequences of people's own choices.

God has a perfect plan for every person's life (Jer. 29:11), but He doesn't make us walk that path. We are free moral agents with the ability to choose. He has told us what the right choices are (Deut. 30:19), but He doesn't make those choices for us. God gave us the power to control our destinies." (Andrew Wommack - The Sovereignty Of God)

This people, is more blasphemous nonsense.

Here are just a few scriptures on UNCONDITIONAL election. the reason it is called unconditional is because man didn't have to meet a condition in order to be elected, it is by the sovereign good pleasure of God that one was elected from before the foundation of the world.

When 2 mormons knocked on my door last year after first telling them that i didn't want to hear their false gospel or allow them into my home (politely as possible ofcourse) I preached by God's mercy the true gospel to them and one of them said like a typical mormon trying to earn his salvation "what can i do to be elected?" the answer is there is nothing one can do to get themselves elected or saved. those who believe the gospel have full assurance that they were chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world.

(Psalms 65:4) “Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.”

(John 6:37) “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”

(John 6:65) “And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.”

(John 13:18) “I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.”

(John 15:16) “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”

(John 17:9) “I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.”

(Acts 13:48) “And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.”

(Romans 9:11-13) “(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)
{12} It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.
{13} As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.”

(Romans 11:5) “Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.”

(Romans 11:7) “What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded”

(Ephesians 1:3-6) “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
{4} According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

(2 Timothy 1:9-10) “Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
{10} But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:”

And here is a wonderful video in defence of the biblical doctrone of unconditional election.

The reprobate/non elect perish BECAUSE of their sin - the below is from the Lambeth article of faith and is fully in line with the word of God:

God from eternity has predestined some men to life, and reprobated some to death.
The moving or efficient cause of predestination to life is not the foreseeing of faith, or of perseverance, or of good works, or of anything in the person of the predestinated, but only the will of the good pleasure of God.

There is a determined and certain number of predestined, which cannot be increased or diminished.

Those not predestinated to salvation are inevitably condemned on account of their sins.

My friend asked me about reprobation in response to a question his friend asked him - this was my answer - you will read much scripture.

Romans 11:22 "Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God"

Men seem to have the idea that they're innocent or deserve some kind of mercy.
this is not the case.

God tells us in Romans 3:8 - that the damnation of the wicked/reprobate is just

2 thessalonians 2:11-12
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should all believe a lie:
That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Acts 14:16
"Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways"

Amos 3:2
"You only (Israel) have I known of all the families of the earth"

Joshua 11:18-20
"Joshua made war a long time with all those kings. There was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, save the Hivites the inhabitants of Gibeon: all other they took in battle. For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that He might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favor, but that He might destroy them as the LORD commanded Moses".

Proverbs 16:4
"The LORD hath made all things for Himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil".

Romans 9:17
"For the Scripture saith unto Pharoah, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might show My power in thee, and that My name might be declared throughout all the earth."

Exodus 9:15,16
"For now I will stretch out My hand, that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth. And in every deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to show in thee My power; and that My name may be declared throughout all the earth".

Proverbs 16:1
"The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD"

Proverbs 21:1
"The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water, He turneth it withersoever He will"

Romans 9:18
"Therefore hath He mercy on whom He will have mercy, and whom He will He hardeneth."

John 12:37-40
"But though He had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on Him: that the saying of Esaias (Isaiah) the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? Therefore they could not believe because that Esaias said again, He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their hearts that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them."

Romans 9:19
"Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth He yet find fault? For who hath resisted His will?"

Romans 9:20
"Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?"

Romans 9:21-23
"Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump, to make one vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonour? What if God, willing to shew His wrath, and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had afore prepared unto glory."

Romans 11:7
"What then? That which Israel seeketh for, that he obtained not, but the election obtained it, and the rest were hardened"

1 Thessalonians 5:9
"For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ."

what of the reprobate?

1 Peter 2:8
"A Stone of stumbling, and a Rock of offence, even to them who stumble at the Word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed"

2 Peter 2:12
"But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption"

Jude 4
"For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ"

Revelation 13:8
"And all that dwell on the earth shall worship him, every one whose name hath not been written from the foundation of the world in the Book of Life of the Lamb that hath been slain"

It's important to remember also that:

Ecclesiastes 7:29
"God hath made man upright: but they have sought out many inventions"

the below is from A.W Pink's book 'the sovereignty of God' - The unedited edition that Iain Murray and co from the banner of (so called) truth didn't butcher:

God's decree of Reprobation contemplated Adam's race as fallen, sinful, corrupt, guilty. From it God purposed to save a few as the monuments of His Sovereign grace; the others He determined to destroy as the exemplification of His justice and severity. In determining to destroy these others, God did them no wrong. They had already fallen in Adam, their legal representative; they are therefore born with a sinful nature, and in their sins He leaves them. Nor can they complain. This is as they wish; they have no desire for holiness; they love darkness rather than light. Where, then, is there any injustice if God "gives them up to their own heart's lusts" (Psa. 81:12).

Second, the doctrine of Reprobation does not mean that God refuses to save those who earnestly seek salvation. The fact is that the reprobate have no longing for the Saviour: they see in Him no beauty that they should desire Him. They will not come to Christ-why then should God force them to? He turns away none who do come-where then is the injustice of God foredetermining their just doom? None will be punished but for their iniquities; where then is the supposed tyrannical cruelty of the Divine procedure? Remember that God is the Creator of the wicked, not of their wickedness; He is the Author of their being, but not the Infuser of their sin.

Dont confuse the above with arminians seeking God.

Jesus said many will seek to enter but shall not be able.

God does not (as we have been slanderously reported to affirm) compel the wicked to sin, as the rider spurs on an unwilling horse. God only says in effect that awful word, "Let them alone" (Matt. 15:14). He needs only to slacken the reins of providential restraint, and withhold the influence of saving grace, and apostate man will only too soon and too surely, of his own accord, fall by his iniquities. Thus the decree of reprobation neither interferes with the bent of man's own fallen nature, nor serves to render him the less inexcusable.

Third, the decree of Reprobation in nowise conflicts with God's goodness. Though the non-elect are not the objects of His goodness in the same way or to the same extent as the elect are, yet are they not wholly excluded from a participation of it. They enjoy the good things of Providence (temporal blessings) in common with God's own children, and very often to a higher degree. But how do they improve them? Does the (temporal) goodness of God lead them to repent? Nay, verily, they do but despise "His goodness, and forbearance, and longsuffering," and "after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath" (Rom. 2:4, 5). On what righteous ground, then, can they murmur against not being the objects of His benevolence in the endless ages yet to come? Moreover, if it did not clash with God's mercy and kindness to leave the entire body of the fallen angels (2 Peter 2:4) under the guilt of their apostasy still less can it clash with the Divine perfections to leave some of fallen mankind in their sins and punish them for them.
Finally, let us interpose this necessary caution: It is utterly impossible for any of us, during the present life, to ascertain who are among the reprobate.

We must not now so judge any man, no matter how wicked he may be. The vilest sinner, may, for all we know, be included in the election of grace and be one day quickened by the Spirit of grace. Our marching orders are plain, and woe unto us if we disregard them-"Preach the Gospel to every creature." When we have done so our skirts are clear. If men refuse to heed, their blood is on their own heads; nevertheless "we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish. To the one we are a savor of death unto death; and to the other we are a savor of life unto life" (2 Cor. 2:15, 16).

We must now consider a number of passages which are often quoted with the purpose of showing that God has not fitted certain vessels to destruction or ordained certain ones to condemnation. First, we cite Ezekiel 18:31-"Why will ye die, O house of Israel?" On this passage we cannot do better than quote from the comments of Augustus Toplady:-"This is a passage very frequently, but very idly, insisted upon by Arminians, as if it were a hammer which would at one stroke crush the whole fabric to powder. But it so happens that the 'death' here alluded to is neither spiritual nor eternal death: as is abundantly evident from the whole tenor of the chapter.

The death intended by the prophet is a political death; a death of national prosperity, tranquillity, and security. The sense of the question is precisely this: What is it that makes you in love with captivity, banishment, and civil ruin. Abstinence from the worship of images might, as a people, exempt you from these calamities, and once more render you a respectable nation. Are the miseries of public devastation so alluring as to attract your determined pursuit? Why will ye die? die as the house of Israel, and considered as a political body? Thus did the prophet argue the case, at the same time adding-'For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth saith the Lord God, wherefore, turn yourselves, and live ye.' This imports: First, the national captivity of the Jews added nothing to the happiness of God. Second, if the Jews turned from idolatry, and flung away their images, they should not die in a foreign, hostile country, but live peaceably in their own land and enjoy their liberties as an independent people." To the above we may add: political death must be what is in view in Ezekiel 18:31, 32 for the simple but sufficient reason that they were already spiritually dead!

Matthew 25:41 is often quoted to show that God has not fitted certain vessels to destruction- "Depart from Me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the Devil and his angels." This is, in fact, one of the principal verses relied upon to disprove the doctrine of Reprobation. But we submit that the emphatic word here is not "for" but "Devil." This verse (see context) sets forth the severity of the judgment which awaits the lost. In other words, the above Scripture expresses the awfulness of the everlasting fire rather than the subjects of it-if the fire be "prepared for the Devil and his angels" then how intolerable it will be! If the place of eternal torment into which the damned shall be cast is the same as that in which God's arch-enemy will suffer, how dreadful must that place be!

Again: if God has chosen only certain ones to salvation, why are we told that God "now commandeth all men everywhere to repent" (Acts 17:30)? That God commandeth "all men" to repent is but the enforcing of His righteous claims as the moral Governor of the world. How could He do less, seeing that all men everywhere have sinned against Him? Furthermore, that God commandeth all men everywhere to repent argues the universality of creature responsibility. But this Scripture does not declare that it is God's pleasure to "give repentance" (Acts 5:31) everywhere. That the Apostle Paul did not believe God gave repentance to every soul is clear from his words in 2 Timothy 2:25--"In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth."

Again, we are asked, if God has "ordained" only certain ones unto eternal life then why do we read that He "will have all men to be saved, and come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Tim. 2:4)? The reply is, that the words "all" and "all men," like the term "world," are often used in a general and relative sense. Let the reader carefully examine the following passages: Mark 1:5; John 6:45; 8:2; Acts 21:28; 22:15; 2 Corinthians 3:2, etc., and he will find full proof of our assertion. 1 Timothy 2:4 cannot teach that God wills the salvation of all mankind or otherwise all mankind would be saved-"What His soul desireth even that He doeth" (Job 23:13)!

Again; we are asked, Does not Scripture declare, again and again, that God is no "respecter of persons"? We answer, it certainly does, and God's electing grace proves it. The seven sons of Jesse, though older and physically superior to David, are passed by, while the young shepherd-boy is exalted to Israel's throne. The scribes and lawyers pass unnoticed, and ignorant fishermen are chosen to be the Apostles of the Lamb. Divine truth is hidden from the wise and prudent and is revealed to babes instead. The great majority of the wise and noble are ignored, while the weak, the base, the despised, are called and saved. Harlots and publicans are sweetly compelled to come in to the Gospel feast while self-righteous Pharisees are suffered to perish in their immaculate morality. Truly, God is "no respecter" of persons or He would not have saved me.

That the Doctrine of Reprobation is a "hard saying" to the carnal mind is readily acknowledged-yet, is it any "harder" than that of eternal punishment? That it is clearly taught in Scripture we have sought to demonstrate, and it is not for us to pick and choose from the truths revealed in God's Word. Let those who are inclined to receive those doctrines which commend themselves to their judgment, and who reject those which they cannot fully understand, remember those scathing words of our Lord's, "O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken" (Luke 24:25): fools because slow of heart; slow of heart, not dull of head!

this doctrine which is so bitterly hated in these last days, when men will no longer "endure sound doctrine"; hated by men of lofty pretentions, but who, notwithstanding their boasted orthodoxy and much advertised piety, are not worthy to unfasten the shoes of the faithful and fearless servants of God of other days.

"O the depth of the riches both of wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! For what hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been His counsellor? or who hath first given to Him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things: to whom be glory forever, Amen" (Rom. 11:33-36).*

* "Of Him"-His will is the origin of all existence; "through" or "by Him"-He is the Creator and Controller of all; "to Him"-all things promote His glory in their final end.
Many of you reading this article now are appealing with a "what about John 3:16 - it says God loves everyone and wants to save everyone!!!!!!!"
this verse doesn't say that AT ALL.
in light of the rest of the bible we know it is talking about God's elect, and also it says that one ones believing in Jesus will not perish, we know that only the elect believe the true gospel. 2 verses later, Jesus said this:

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
