Kampala Resident City Commissioner, Hudu Hussein has dismissed as untrue reports that he gave preachers 30 days to vacate Kampala streets.

Hudu was earlier this week quoted to have said in a bid to clean the city, street preachers had been given 30 days to vacate the streets or be forced.

““Our good pastors, we love you so much but I am giving you an amnesty of 30 days so that you evacuate the streets, we want a more serious city. All pastors, vendors, children beggars among other disorganised groups should leave the City,” Hussein is quoted to have said during a press conference at the Uganda Media Centre.

However, in a statement released on Saturday, the Kampala RCC distanced himself from the reports indicating he has no right to start a war with God.

“I would rather deal with those other challenges Kampala is facing than daring to limit the rights of those serving their God. Honestly, who am I to make war with God,” he said in a statement.

The Kampala RCC insisted that the statements attributed to him are not correct.

“My President is a very religious and God-fearing man, and he is my inspiration. I cannot do something that he himself cannot do. I emphasize that I cannot and did not say anything about chasing street preachers. I referred to street children, among other issues.”

The RCC said whereas he cannot start war with God, there is need to look into the issue of street preachers who are not unregulated.

“For example, some go straight to people in their vehicles, either insult them or even grab them. Others erect loud speakers where their voice would be enough. I know that some street preachers go overboard not because of the content of what they preach but because of the way they do it. So, much as the preaching should go on, there’s need for the leaders of the street preachers to look into those issues I have mentioned.”

The Resident City Commissioner of Kampala Capital City (RCC) Hudu Hussein has given street preachers in Kampala a 30 days ultimatum to leave the streets.

Speaking to journalists at the Uganda Media Centre, Hussein said that in his bid to build a nicer, organised city, there will be no room for “unseriousness”.

“Our good pastors, we love you so much but I am giving you an amnesty of 30 days so that you evacuate the streets, we want a more serious city,” Hussein said.

To say this, Hussein was presenting what he called the  “seven new measures” which aim at sanitising Kampala city.

“All pastors, vendors, children beggars among other disorganised groups should leave the City,” Hussein added.

The RCC also unveiled plans to have all boda boda riders registered, main buildings in the city centre painted and lighted up plus new measures on buildings that are still aiding street vendors.

He warned that no stone will be left unturned in hid bid for a cleaner city.

Social media reacts

The RCC’s directive brought about mixed reactions as some said it was long over due, while others, who consisted of street preachers warned the RCC to tread carefully.

“RCC Hudu Hussein might have touched the wrong kind of button. You can’t threaten the Gospel of the Lord and those who spread it. The 30 days might end up being yours!!” Godfrey Kuteesa opined.

“Kampala is only the headquarters. We are called to change the world with this Gospel,” a one Moses, who is a street preacher under Phaneero said.

Catholic Head Archbishop Paul Ssemogerere says Shrines out number Churches: Unfortunately he forgot to say that some of these shrines are actually catholic shrines

His Grace Paul Ssemogerere takes over as Kampala Archbishop - HowweBiz.UG

  Uganda Martyrs - Wikipedia

My Analysis

Catholicism is a mixture of Christianity and paganism. In other words, Catholicism is Christianity paganised. Catholicism has never brought morality anywhere in the world.  It simply promotes witchcraft, worship of the dead and worship of Lucifer. Many witches and sorcerers are prominent catholic catechists and lay leaders.  The Catholic Church in Uganda and all over the world is a hide out for criminals such as priests who have fathered children or forced women to abort. Catholics have one leg with the false catholic Jesus and the other leg with Lucifer. Catholics in Africa attend the catholic mass and other catholic rituals in addition to worshiping their dead ancestors in small huts called shrines. The Catholic Church in Uganda constructed the Uganda Martyrs shrine in Namugongo where dead Catholics pages who were killed by King Mwanga are worshipped and called saints. The Namugongo shrine looks exactly like a Ugandan witchdoctor’s shrine. Therefore Archbishop Paul Ssemogerere’s view that shrines are increasing is simply ridiculous. Of course the over 100 years of Catholicism in Uganda have led to the increasing of witchcraft, hypocrisy and worship of the dead. No catholic will ever see heaven. Catholicism is the mother of all harlots. It is a system that was created by Lucifer to take people to hell. If you are a catholic, you must exit the catholic church, repent all you sins and become a born again christian today. Amen.
