Roman Catholicism and the worship of the dead XVIV: Virgin Centurione died in 1651. 150 years later her corpse was removed from the grave, and kept for display in Genova.

Roman Catholic corpse of the day

http://ivarfjeld.com/2013/05/06/roman-catholic-corpse-of-the-day/

Virgin Centurione died in 1651. 150 years later her corpse was removed from the grave, and kept for display in Genova.

Italian lady kept for adoration more than 360 years after her death.
No one in sure how many corpses the Roman Catholic Church have kept for display for adoration and veneration. But this lady died in Genova in Italy is 1651 A.D.
150 years lauer, in 1801 her body was removed from the grave, to be kept for display.  Lets take a look at some few more pictures:

Roman Catholic youth kneel and pray in font of the altar with the corpse in Genova.

The Italian virgin is one of the patron “saints” of the city of Genova.

A man made image and a corpse. A life that ended as a tragedy around idol worship and sinful prayer of the pagan rosary chain.
The Vatican did not start the process of beautification before 1985. That is a long wait for those who kept on venerating a person, who had not performed authorized miracles.
What would have happened to the remains of this person, if the Pope refused to grant “it“sainthood?
Would the corpse have been reburied 334 years after it had been removed from the grave?
Why did it take the Vatican 184 years to complete the process of beautification in the the first place?
Was it the local production of suitable garments that took so long time?
The body of ‘Saint Virginia Centurione from Genova in Italy is not a pleasant catch for the eye. It makes me wonder what the “beautification” process is all about, but a wicked looting of a dead woman’s grave.

A belated L’ Shana Tova to you Ivar,
When ever I hear about the veneration of anything other than GOd, it sends up a huge red flag for me. The muslims have their black rock that they bow down to. It is said, that the rock was white at first, but, because the rock is able to absorb the sins of the faithful, the rock is now black. Yet, muslims will tell you that they do not worship idols. The connection to the worship of the moon god, is another form of idolatry that they try to deny; note the creasent moon, it is Islam’s emblem.
It is beyond my understanding how anyone with a modicum of common sense, could in any way, reverence, let alone pray to, something as macabre as this, and not call it idolatry, necromancy, and sorcery.
GOd is very clear in matters of worship. It is to Him alone that we are to render sacred service, or worship. We are not allowed to pray for the dead; never mind, praying to the dead. Besides, it’s down right creepy!

Thanks for blessing me. It will keep me blogging.
    • Muslim faith says:
Muslims do not worship black stone as you say. There is no god but Allah and Mohamed is his prophet is the first thing you say before you join Islam. Islam came at a time when Arabs worshiped stones. Allah said to his prophet and you can find in the last page of the Qur’an, [SAY: "He is the One God. God the Eternal, the Uncaused Cause of All Being. He begets not, and neither is He begotten. and there is nothing that could be compared with Him.]. As you can read it can not be a stone. In another verse in the Qur’an you can read
Say: “Would you worship, beside God, aught that has no power either to harm or to benefit you-when God alone is all-hearing, all-knowing?” refereeing to idolatry including stone worshipers.
The Qur’an also said [say: AND WORSHIP God [alone], and do not ascribe divinity, in any way, to aught beside Him. I hope it is clear for you now.].
This may be of interest to you: the Qur’an says [
AND THEY say, "Be Jews" - or, "Christians" - "and you shall be on the right path." Say: "Nay, but [ours is] the creed of Abraham, who turned away from all that is false, and was not of those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God.”]
The Qur’an say [Say: "We believe in God, and in that which has been bestowed from on high upon us, and that which has been bestowed upon Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and, their descendants, and that which has been vouchsafed to Moses and Jesus; and that which has been vouchsafed to all the [other] prophets by their Sustainer: we make no distinction between any of them. And it is unto Him that we surrender ourselves.”]
This is what a Muslim believe in. But Allah (who is not a stone!) will accept your repentance at any time.
      Lastly: the Qur’an say
[The people of the Book ( Jews and Christians) know this as they know their own sons; but some of them conceal the truth which they themselves know.].
Do not follow your vanity and hide the truth.
Allah says in the Quran: [Say [to the Jews and the Christians]: “Do you argue with us about God? But He is our Sustainer as well as your Sustainer – and unto us shall be accounted our deeds, and unto you, your deeds; and it- is unto Him alone that we devote ourselves.
“Do you claim that Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and their descendants were `Jews’ or `Christians’?” Say: “Do you know more than God does? And who could be more wicked than he who suppresses a testimony given to him by God? Yet God is not unmindful of what you do.].
      Therefore:
The qyran says [Those who conceal the clear (Signs) We have sent down, and the Guidance, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book,-on them shall be Allah's curse, and the curse of those entitled to curse, Except those who repent and make amends and openly declare (the Truth): To them I turn; for I am Oft-returning, Most Merciful. Those who reject Faith, and die rejecting,- on them is Allah's curse, and the curse of angels, and of all mankind;]

My Comment: Your Allah is a lie created by the devil himself, who enjoys decieving many. Jesus Christ is the only that can save. He is God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit also known as the trinity.
Matthew 1:23 – “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”
Isaiah 9:6 – For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Understand the horrific consequence if you choose to continue in beliving in a lie: John 8:24 – “Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I AM He, you will die in your sins.
      • Muslim faith says:
The Qur’an says : [It is not conceivable that God should have taken unto Himself a son: limitless is He in His glory! When He wills a thing to be, He but says unto it "Be" -and it is!. And [thus it was that Jesus always said]: “Verily, God is my Sustainer as well as your Sustainer; so worship [none but] Him: this (alone] is a straight way.”And yet, the sects [that follow the Bible] are at variance among themselves [about the nature of Jesus Woe, then, unto all who deny the truth when that awesome Day will appear!]
The above chapter of the Qur’an is called meryam [Mary]. It is a message to all of you that are sadly in denial.
        Read this:
The quran say:[As it is, some assert, "The Most Gracious has taken unto Himself a son! Indeed, [by this assertion] you have brought forth something monstrous, whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! That men. should ascribe a son to the Most Gracious, Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant:].
I think the above is clear, a warning to all that have said Allah has a son.
Read this. It is a number of verses that are from the same chapter called the cave: referring to the “people of the cave”, you might know the story which was revealed to the prophet to show to a christian delegation, that visited the prophet, if he was really send from God (Allah). Obviously they were stunned of this revelation about the people of cave which only the Christians knew about the details at the time. Eventually, some of them converted to Islam after reading it. I give you only the first few verses. You can check it in http://tanzil.net/#18:1 press the verse in Arabic and you get the translation.
The Qur’an says 18:1 [ALL PRAISE is due to God, who has bestowed. this divine writ from on high upon His servant, and has not allowed any deviousness to obscure its meaning:]
It is clear right no need to explain
        next verse in the Qur’an
The Qur’an says 18:2 [[a divine writ] unerringly straight, meant to warn [the godless] of a severe punishment from Him, and to give unto the believers who do good works the glad tiding that theirs shall be a goodly reward-]
So Allah warn the godless first.
        The next verse
The Qur’an says 18:3 [[a state of bliss] in which they. shall dwell beyond the count of time.]
        i.e: Eternity
The Qur’an says 18:4 [Furthermore, [this divine writ is meant] to warn all those who assert, “God has taken unto Himself a son.”].
The Qur’an says 18:5 [No knowledge whatever have they of Him, and neither had their forefathers: dreadful -is this saying that comes out of their mouths, [and] nothing but falsehood do they utter!]
The Qur’an says 18:6 [But wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death with grief over them if they are not willing to believe in this message?].
Maybe you could one day read the Qur’an and see for yourself if Allah the most gracious is a lie. Until then, you do not know, you are making assertions about God.
If you are then god say
The Qur’an say: [And yet, among men there is many a one who argues about God without having any knowledge [of Him], and follows every rebellious satanic force].
        Sad in’it.

        Muslim,
How can it be inconceivable that God should have taken unto him a son, when he is God? When he is Our King? Jesus said: John 14:6-7 – Jesus said to him, “I AM the way, the truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Because you choose to believe in Satan’s lies, YOUR SOUL IS IN DANGER.
        Do not be deceived.
2 John 1:7 – For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Yes, It is only a matter of time before we know! eventually we all die. until then enjoy your life and try to help the poor and the needy, give your time to the sick and the orphans. At least you would have done some good deeds before you leave earth for good!
        Cheerio…
      • Ed says:
God can do anything except have a son? Think about it… And it is conceivable since the idea has been concieved. That should show the quran is just talkin talk. Yes there are many who disagree on all the details of what it means to be the Son of God. And many people who disagree that Jesus is the Son of God. But in the Bible, the Apostle Paul realistically sums it up, staying within the reality of the situation. “We know in part”, “we see puzzling reflections” .
1 cor 13:12″ Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.”
until the second coming of Jesus in power and glory, when you meet face to face
      • Muslim faith says:
Should I think if god can have a son?
This is what the Quran says to you: [To Him is due the primal origin of the heavens and the earth: How can He have a son when He hath no consort (i.e a partner)? He created all things, and He hath full knowledge of all things.]
Why would Allah has a son? Why do humans have children? what is the purpose of a family? Why would you inscribe to Allah a son without real knowledge, why some of you (Christians) think it is wrong idea? why the bibbles do not mention it very clearly that God has a son? why and why…
Ask yourself this: why some Christians are leaving their faith to Islam? are they all bad people? seeking some finacial gain? looking for favours from some goverments? looking to annoy you? revenge on the church? or simply they found that its all lies and that God has no son.
Quran says [Not for (idle) sport did We create the heavens and the earth and all that is between! If it had been Our wish to take (just) a pastime, We should surely have taken it from the things nearest to Us, if We would do (such a thing)! Nay, We hurl the Truth against falsehood, and it knocks out its brain, and behold, falsehood doth perish! Ah! woe be to you for the (false) things ye ascribe (to Us).]
I do think, only I do not think like you!
      • Gloria says:
But Muslim, that is the difference between me and you. I know JESUS CHRIST is my Savior. You on the other hand are willing to risk your soul to wait until you die, to see if what you believed in was the truth. Also a man does not see Christ by his good deeds, but by believing in him.
You are wrong! Do not risk it.
      • Muslim faith says:
Clearly Gloria you have no wit! You simply are too simple! it does not help at all to talk to you anymore, I tried but it is simply a monologue with you.
Nevertheless, All the best to you until we meet in Heavens !

    • Fenly says:
There is a difference between veneration of Mary and worship of Jesus. This was formalized in writing way back in 757 AD at the Seventh General Council:
Latria – adoration that is given to the Trinity alone; occurs 5 times in the Bible but always refers to God (Jn 16:2, Rm:9:4, 12:6, Heb 9:1,6)
Hyper-dulia – veneration to Mary (as the mother of God)
Dulia – honor paid to saints and angels; occurs 5 times in the Bible (Rm 8:15, 21; Gal 4:24, 5:1; Heb 2:15)
There are plenty of Old Testament references that distinguish veneration from worship. “Then Moses went out to meet his father in law, and he bowed down and kissed him..” (Exo 18:7)…(also 1 Chron 29:20, 1 Sam 24:8)
  2. Ed says:
Does the Quran say God created man in his image? The bible says God created the earth for his pleasure, if it was his pleasure to call Jesus his son who can stop him? Isn’t it better to please God by giving than to please yourself in selfishness? it’s consistent even with the Quran that God created the world for his pleasure and not for ours? As you say giving to the poor pleases God.
    • Muslim faith says:
I call my neighbor’s son “my son” but clearly he is not. If I went to my neighbor and said his my begotten son then I am in a serious trouble. Yes, Allah created us to worship Him and to please Him. The same message Allah has send to every nation before us.
The Qur’an say : [Say: "We believe in Allah, and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses, Jesus, and the prophets, from their Lord: We make no distinction between one and another among them, and to Allah do we bow our will (in Islam)."].
We love all the prophets, no exception, Jesus is our prophet too.
The last book of Allah is the Qur’an…Take it and read it in an open minded way, take your time, do not let anything interfere in your reasoning, logic will prevail. It took me several years to finally make sense of it all as I was a convinced atheist before.
Good luck and all the best.
      • Ed says:
A bit absurd to compare youself and you neighbor to God dont you think?
God called Jesus his begotten Son when the Holy spirit descended on Jesus like a dove and stayed there, When he was Born of Spirit, not when he was born of flesh. Jesus is called the Son of Man and the Son of God.
      • Muslim faith says:
You are as bad as Gloria!
  3. Lyn Leahz says:
    Disgusting and vile.
  4. Fenly says:
Christ is the one and only mediator between God and man (1 Tim. 2:5; Heb. 8:6; 9:15; 12:24)…It can not be made any clearer in the scriptures that God wants to communicate with us directly, and to be cautious of those who try to step in to mediate
1 Timothy 2 does not say that God wants us only to communicate with Jesus. It says there is only one mediator between God and man, which is a different thing. The passage does not say “be cautious” of asking people to pray for us. It doesn’t do anything of the sort. The chapter begins by not only allowing intercessory prayer by third parties, but requiring it and indicating that it actually helps bring them to salvation and knowledge of truth. Any mother who prays for her children knows that.
I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone …This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4. who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. (Tim. 2:1-4)
We cannot read the rest of the chapter without considering that overarching idea. We think that Christians in heaven pray through Christ much better than you and me. They are much closer to Christ than you and me. Evangelicals pray for each other, and they don’t say they are taking God’s place. When we pray for one another we are participating in the mediation but we are not the mediator. Catholics feel that saints in heaven, including Mary, can pray for us just as well (or infinitely better) than our friends on earth.

Santa Eufemia with flowers on her skull

I am amazed that faithful Roman Catholics have even put flowers on the missing hair of the saint.
Santa Eufema of Ferrara in Italy is dressed up for adoration and veneration.
I have published dozens of pictures of Roman Catholic bones, skulls, skeletons and corpses.
This saint is also called Santa Gaudencia. I paid attention to this skeleton, because of the dress code.
The sandals on the leg of this corpse, is absolute worth noticing.
The claimed to be a saint is dressed up, probably by Roman Catholic priests.
    Matthew 23:27
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.
I have not been able to find any information about who are doing the dressing of the bones. There is also no information available if there is more textiles available in her cup board.

    1. Ed says:
Good one “on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.”
    2. This practice of preserving corpses, bones and skulls certainly goes against what God Himself decreed about those who die. In Genesis 3:19, God made it clear that when someone dies they are supposed to return to the dust from which they came.
“…for dust you are and to dust you will return.” – Genesis 3:19
Other verses that refer to the ‘dust of the earth’ as being the rightful place for dead bodies include:
Ecclesiastes 3:20 – “…all come from dust, and to dust all return.”
Psalm 104:29 – “…when you take away their breath, they die and return to the dust.”
Ecclesiastes 12:7 – “and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.”
Psalm 22:15 – “…you lay me in the dust of death.”
Psalm 146:4 – “When their spirit departs, they return to the ground…”
Isaiah 26:19 – “But your dead will live; their bodies will rise. You who dwell in the dust, wake up and shout for joy. Your dew is like the dew of the morning; the earth will give birth to her dead.”
Daniel 12:2 – “Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.”
Therefore, keeping dead bodies for public display is denying them their right to be buried and returning to the dust according to God’s Word.
