NTV’s feature - Pastor Njoroge can be arrested – Githu Muigai

Monday, July 23, 2012 - At a press conference held in Nairobi today Attorney General Githu Muigai has raised his concerns on the NTV’s featured story that highlighted a pastor in City Cabanas who uses prostitutes to convince innocent Christians.

In his statement, he stated that Pastor Michael Njoroge can be arrested and arraigned in court if the public raised a complaint and gave the court enough evidence to the court incriminating the pastor.

Muigai further added that the church where the pastor operates can also see their operation license cancelled by the Government registry.

He however warned congregates that if they plan to sue a pastor they must follow the legal procedure and present enough evidence because in the past they have received several cases without grounds leading to their failure to act.
