Pastor Mugerwa, Wife In Quarantine After Daughter Dies Of COVID-19

Popular city pastor Tom Balaba Mugerwa, of Mutundwe Christian Fellowship Church, in Rubaga Division and his wife Justine Mugerwa, are said to be in self-isolation following the death of their daughter Pastor Rebecca Kaddu, who died of Coronavirus (COVID-19) a few days ago.
Pastor Kaddu, who was pastoring at Water Of Life Ministries, Kyengera, succumbed to COVID-19 last week and was buried during a scientific burial ceremony at which only a few family members and relatives of the deceased were allowed, as per the Ministry of Health guidelines to avoid the spread of the Virus.
We have since learnt that since she died of COVID-19, several members of Pastor Mugerwa’s family who came into contact with the deceased have since put in quarantine by officials from the Ministry of Health such that their health conditions can be monitored.
It should be noted that Uganda has so far registered 60 COVID-19 deaths out of 5,380 Cumulative total infections and 2,489 recoveries according to the Ministry of Health.
Information from the Ministry of Health indicates that results of COVID-19 tests done on 16 September 2020 confirmed 114 new cases.
The confirmed new cases include;
Kampala (50), Bududa (16), Pader (9), Wakiso (7), Mbale (5), Sironko (5), Luwero (4), Adjumani (3), Buikwe (3), Gulu (3), Hoima (2), Jinja (2), Kikuube (1), Koboko (1), Mitooma (1), Namisindwa (1) and Ngora (1).
