Sweden has for the first time has recognizes  the “devil worship- also known as Satanism” as a new religious sect in the country, despite the strong opposition of the Church.

The church considers Satan as the symbol of evil and the enemy of eternal man.

All the legal, financial and administrative authorities in Sweden agreed to add the new  community officially as they fulfilled the necessary conditions and requirements.

The Swedish  laws stipulate that any officially recognized sect should provide a number of credentials such as organizing religious services and meditation sessions, offering different religious services, not to mention having a name “not contrary to the good traditions and public order of the country.”

The Satanic sect is headed by a Swede couple, Eric and Jenny Hayden, of Stockholm, both academics in the history of ideas and languages, while not affiliated with any other religious movement.

The new sect has about 100 members in Sweden, while it quoted its ideas from the “Satanic Temple” in the United States.

Page of the new Satanic sect on Facebook, giant social media platform, shows that they are pro-liberal and left movements. They also  sympathize with the Lesbian, Gay, Bu-sexual and Transgender –  LGBT community and others.

Although the authorities recognize the new community, it is still not allowed to benefit from state financial grants or formal marriage ceremonies.

In a related context, experts stress that the decision to separate the Church from the state in Sweden in 2000 was the step that paved the way for the recognition of new “religious communities” in our time.
