Ekman is the founder of Word of Life, a megachurch in Uppsala, Sweden. News reports and blogs coming out of the nation reveal the congregation was “partially stunned” after hearing what was packaged as a “special announcement.” The theme was “Follow the Lamb Wherever He Goes."
“For Birgitta and me, this has been a slow process were we have gone from discovering new things, to appreciating what we have discovered, to approach and even learn from our fellow Christians,” Ekman says on his ministry website.
“We have seen a great love for Jesus and a sound theology, founded on the Bible and classic dogma. We have experienced the richness of sacramental life. We have seen the logic in having a solid structure for priesthood, that keeps the faith of the church and passes it on from one generation to the next. We have met an ethical and moral strength and consistency that dare to face up to the general opinion, and a kindness towards the poor and the weak. And, last but not least, we have come in contact with representatives for millions of charismatic Catholics and we have seen their living faith.”
According to the Aletheia blog and think tank, Ekman’s conversion is a news story that affects a relatively large part of Swedish Christianity. Word of Life has about 3,000 members and a staff of 12 pastors. The church’s school has about 1,000 students. Ekman also launched Scandinavia’s largest Bible school, constructed Scandinavia’s largest free church building, rolled out a media program with TV on all continents, recorded teaching that has been spread around the world, published books in 60 languages, and promoted a strong engagement for Israel.
“We have, as many know, followed Ekman’s steps towards Roman Catholicism since 2007, at times under a lot of ridicule from both members and leadership of the congregation, but also from others within the Christian Community in Sweden,” writes Andreas Glandberger, who operates the think tank. “Based on Ulf Ekman's various articles, sermons, statements and even type of organizations he decided to support financially, a painstaking puzzle has been laid in which the last piece of the puzzle now is in place.”
Glandberger went on to say that "shock, anger, sadness, despair and confusion" were among the reactions to the news. Others, he writes, were relieved that Ekman’s long love affair with the Catholic Church finally was consummated openly, which is also a help in theological discussions.
“All this has been both attractive and challenging,” Ekman says. “It really challenged our Protestant prejudices, and we realized that we, in many cases, did not have any basis for our criticism of them. We needed to know the Catholic faith better. This led us to the realize that it was actually Jesus Christ who led us to unite with the Catholic Church.”
Ekman calls his conversion a “personal journey” and says it was not his agenda to lead Word of Life toward Roman Catholicism or to collectively unite the church with the Catholic Church. “That would be unreasonable,” he says.
Ekman retired as the church’s senior pastor in March 2013. He founded and served at Word of Life for 30 years with a mandate from the Holy Spirit to “equip My people with the word of faith.”

During his Sunday morning service, Ulf Ekman announced the he and his wife, Birgitta, are becoming papists.
Ulf Ekman has over a long period of time been a secret Papal soldier praying with Order brothers in Sweden.

When Ulf Ekman converts to Catholicism, the ring is completed for the religious Word of Faith movement in Sweden and Norway.
The danger is that there is no longer possible to distinguish between Pentecostalism (Pingst) and the World of Faith assemblies. All of it is mixed together.
In Norway, all of them are supporters of the The Christian Council of Norway, which has recognized the Vatican II Council of 1965. To few Baptists now stands on the lessons of the Reformation. Hazardous many admire the first Jesuit Pope and join the blind road back to Rome. And off the cliff they will go, many of them traveling on first class.

Ulf Ekman shall work for the Pope. Its time to tell the Word of Faith heretics to leave their seats of power in the Pentecostal movement.
Peter Halldorf and Ulf Ekman are deceivers of the Pentecostal movement.
To be able to share the gospel together, Christians must be in a minimum agreement. Lets see how the Vatican demand that we must live in rebellion against the Word of God, rejecting the truth.
Rome present to us a “different gospel” based om works as justification for salvation. And Church traditions are a higher authority in matters of faith, then the scriptures, when the Pope decides so. This
false gospel do have a replacement Messiah in its center. Rome
represent a complete anti-Messianic movement, with followers who always
have done their evil deeds of darkness in the name of “Christ”.

The leaders of the Swedish Pentecostal movement went to Rome to study.
Here are some obvious example of the Vatican’s betrayal of the Word of God.
1. Jesus said: “Do not call any religious leader for father”. The Pope demands that Roman Catholic priests shall be addressed as “fathers”. The Pope him self as the very “Holy father”.
2. The Bible explains that all man have sinned, and fallen short of the glory of God. The Pope claims that the “mother of God” was born without sin, lived a sinless life, and was taken up in Heaven sinless.
3. The Bible explains that there is only one middleman between man and God, and that is Jesus the Messiah. The Pope claims that there a many mediators, first an foremost the Roman Catholic “mother of God”, thousands of Papal approved “saints” and “holy madonnas”.
4. The Bible explains that the Holy Spirit is the replacement of Jesus on he Earth. The Pope claims he is the replacement of Jesus, the Vicarius Christi, or in English: the Vicar of Christ. In all matters of correctly understanding the scriptures, the Pope is like a “god”. He is claimed to be Infallible.
The 4th point is the most serious error. Because when the Pope takes the place of the Holy Spirit, he commits sin and blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.’
To claim to be infallible in the understanding of scriptures, and in matters of moral, and in this way replacing the Holy Spirit, is a hundred per cent sure way down the path toward the gates of Hell.

When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father – the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father – he will testify about me.
With such a base of fatal and deadly errors, the manifestations in this religious movement will also be inline with the false teachings. No wonder, that Roman Catholicism adore and venerate skulls, corpses and bones as a part of their religious rituals. A long with idols of stone and wood. Even in the middle of the Great Tribulation, these idol worshippers will refuse to listen to the truth and repent.
Revelation 9:20
The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshipping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood – idols that cannot see or hear or walk.
The book of revelations call this kind of religious shrines a hunted house of demons. An unclean religious assembly, or the “mysterious Babylon, a religious prostitute. We are all called to come out of her, and continue to worship Jesus the Messiah in Spirit and in truth.

With a mighty voice he shouted: ‘“Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!” She has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.
Leave the Papacy behind. To not be fooled by the Vatican ambassadors. Resist their bids to enforce doctrines taught by demons on the true Church of Jesus the Messiah.

Non-Denominational Megapastor Stuns Congregation With Personal Revelation
A non-denominational megachurch pastor reportedly stunned his
congregation this weekend when he announced that he and his wife are
converting to Catholicism.
Ulf Ekman, pastor and founder of Word of Life Church in Uppsala,
Sweden, told parishioners Sunday during his sermon that he and his wife,
Birgitta, have experienced a theological change-of-heart, Charisma News reported.
On Ekman’s ministry website a statement titled, “Pastor Ulf Ekman to Be Accepted Into the Catholic Church” provides details on the preacher’s conversion, stating that “a process of many years of prayer and reflection” preceded the decision to embrace the Catholic faith.
“For Birgitta and me, this has been a slow process were we have gone from discovering new things, to appreciating what we have discovered, to approach and even learn from our fellow Christians,” Ekman is quoted in the release. “We have seen a great love for Jesus and a sound theology, founded on the Bible and classic dogma.”
The statement went on to explain that the couple found solace and intrigue in the Catholic Church’s “sacramental life,” while also revering what Ekman called “a solid structure for priesthood.”
While his Protestant views had previously led to critiques of the Catholic Church, the pastor said that, after studying the faith, he realized that many of those criticisms simply weren’t valid. The release emphasized that the conversion was the result of “a personal journey.”
“This led us to the realize that it was actually Jesus Christ who led us to unite with the Catholic Church,” the pastor continued.
From anger to sadness and confusion, people are responding to Ekman’s theological switch in a variety of ways, according to the Alethia blog and think tank. That said, it may not be entirely surprising to some, as Alethia’s Andreas Glandberger, who runs Alethia, noted that the pastor has taken “steps toward Roman Catholicism since 2007,” Charisma News reported.
