Pastor Wilson Bugembe, the beloved leader of Nansana Worship House Church, marked a major milestone in his spiritual and musical journey with a spectacular celebration of his 20 Years in Ministry concert held on Friday at the prestigious Kampala Serena Hotel.

From the onset, the excitement was palpable. By 4 PM, hundreds of revellers, dressed to impress, had already formed long queues outside the venue, eager to witness a night destined for the books.

While Serena Hotel has hosted countless concerts over the recent months, few in recent memory have packed the venue to full capacity.

Last night was an exception, with every seat filled and even the upper floors buzzing with enthusiastic fans, a rare sight of late.

When it came to stage execution, Pastor Bugembe teamed up with Fenon Records to deliver a performance that exceeded expectations.

The production seamlessly blended nostalgia with high-level creativity, bringing to life video-inspired performances of his classic hits like “Kani”, “Mpangira Akawala”, and “Biliba Bitya”, much to the crowd’s delight.

Adding depth to the storytelling were notable public figures who took to the stage in dramatic reenactments.

Mama Nakajanko, comedian Amooti, and his daughter Coco Must Shine played pivotal roles in a theatrical presentation of the girl from “Kani.” Their performance added a fresh emotional layer to the already beloved track.

The energy peaked when well-known personalities, including Kasuku, comedian Mendo, Chameleone, Bobi Wine, and Hannington Bugingo, brought the Biliba Bitya segment to life.

Their surprise appearances sent fans into a frenzy, with the venue vibrating with cheers and applause.

Equally unforgettable was the rendition of “Mpangira Akwala”, where Rema Namakula, Allan Cruz, Kapere Lufotose, and Kalele lit up the stage, prompting wild ululations and non-stop dancing from the audience.

The night was more than a concert; it was a celebration of faith, legacy, and a deep connection between Pastor Bugembe and his audience.

Twenty years into his ministry, he continues to bridge the gap between gospel and popular culture, proving that his message and music remain as powerful as ever
