24But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have
received your consolation. 25Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto
you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and
weep. (Luke 6:24-25)
PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni has commended Pastor Samuel Kakande
for preaching the gospel and praying for the sick. Museveni also lauded the
pastor for starting agricultural projects, saying he was following in the
footsteps of Jesus, who also preached the gospel, healed the sick and fed
multitudes. The President was speaking at the wedding ceremony of Joshua Mangi
and Rebecca Nakimera at Kakande’s Synagogue
Church of All Nations at
Mulago on Saturday. http://www.newvision.co.ug/D/8/18/701277

Sweet nothings from an Old man who badly needs another term in office come 2016: The corrupt are behind eviction of peasants – Museveni
Watch : Prophet Samuel Kakande
buys land belonging to hundred of poor peasants
Yesterday, in its 10:00 o’clock
news , Bukedde Tv was awash with a story
of Nabyewanga residents in Mpigi
district who battled it out with police because of Prophet Kakande’s anti-Christ
act of buying land belonging to almost an entire village without the consent of
the poor peasants. Although the land Law in Uganda prohibits the selling of land by land owners without the consent of
the occupants, rich people like Prophet Kakande connive with the land lords and
governments in order to buy land occupied by peasants. Prosperity pastors such
as Prophet Samuel Kakande will engage in hook and crook to become millionaires in
order to show that God has blessed them. In the video above there is a Muslim man saying, who
is Pastor Kakande to buy an entire village?
The mister of state for lands
Aida Nantaba has been traversing the country giving the poor back their lands that were illegally taken
by the rich. But, this is just a gimmick used by government to deceive the poor
that it cares about them. The truth is that most of the land grabbers are well
connected with government and there is nothing Nantaba can do to these highly
connected guys.
It is a shame that a person who
claims to be a born again mister of Christ can treat the poor in such away. Many
Ugandans hate born again Christians because they think they have allied with oppressive state
to terrorize them. The Lord Jesus Christ
loved the poor and there is no way a born again Christian can evict thousands
of poor people without compensation because of prosperity and claim to be
blessed by God.
This is prophetess Cecilia Ajololo and Prophet Samuel
Kakande. Prophetess Cecilia Ajololo came to Uganda
from Ghana
in 1997 and went back in 1998. Prophetess Cecilia Ajololo was prayed for by
prophet John Obiri Yeboah and she had an independent ministry in Ghana and she performed many miracles in Ghana and in Uganda when she came. While here,
she informed Ugandans that she is 86 years old and that the lord had told her
to come and pray for Pastor Samuel Kakande to become a powerful prophet because
her time on Earth was up that she was going to Heaven. She also said that
the Lord had told her all the powers that she had, she should pray for Pastor
Samuel Kakande to take up all her powers, she also told Ugandans that while
still a young girl after being prayed for by Prophet John Obiri Yeboah, prophet
John told her that when she is about to go to Heaven, the will talk to her on
where she will leave the Blessing given unto her. While grown up, she came to Uganda and told Ugandans that the Lord had
spoken to her and told to come to Uganda and meet a pastor and leave
that Blessing with him to become a powerful prophet across the whole world.
Indeed she was surprised about the powerful work of God because the words
told to her by prophet John Obiri Yeboah while praying for her and now after
many years, she was told by Jesus to come to Uganda and leave all the powers
given to her by God to prophet Samuel Kakande, she also said that God gave her
children, wealth and everything that she needed and helped many who were in
need and she also said that Jerry Lawrings, the then president of Ghana was her
nephew, that her family was blessed and her country Ghana was also blessed. She
raised a hand above pastor Samuel Kakande in the name of Jesus Christ of
Nazareth, she prayed for him and blessed him and informed him that the Lord
will speak to him, whoever the Lord tells him to pray for, he should pray for
that person in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, that he should never
discriminate any one that the Lord has shown him. She also informed him that
her time on Earth is up and that the Lord has called her. She then went back to
her home country of Ghana
and in the year 2000 she died and went to Heaven and up to now she is in Heaven
thanking the Lord for good works he did through her. I Pastor Joseph Tamale was
present in the Synagogue Church of All Nations as prophetess Cecilia Ajololo
was praying for Prophet Samuel Kakande, and I believe in prophetess Cecilia
that it is true that the Lord God sent her and gave her power according to what
she did. May the Lord Jesus give Prophetess Cecilia blessing and an eternal
light shine on her and Jesus bless Prophetess Cecilia eternally, the name of
Jesus be blessed and Glory and Honor be given back to him. AMENhttp://fcgospelministries.zzl.org/cecilli.html
This is Prophet Samuel Kakande, the Leader of Synagogue
Church Of All Nations, Kampala Uganda with President of Uganda H.E. Yoweri
Kaguta Museven after showing the President different projects that are carried
out by The Synagogue Church Of All Nations, the president was also shown
tractors that prophet Samuel Kakande Imported from U.S.A that can cultivate
many square miles of land. President thanked him for the good heart he has
shown to Ugandans who are in need and he told him to go ahead with these projects
because they are intended to help people to get out of poverty, he also told
him that it is within the constitution of Uganda that there is freedom of
Worship and therefore he should go ahead to work with people here in Uganda and
abroad. In this very meeting, I Pastor Joseph Tamale, the Leader of Faith
Centre Gospel Ministries International was present, we thanked the president
for creating freedom of Worship and for giving us permission to do this kind of
work and partnering with people outside Uganda. The president encouraged us
to invite investors, to come and invest in Uganda and different NGOs and
Individuals who are capable of helping people to come and help Ugandans who are
in need of assistance. May God Bless Uganda and May God bless H.E President
Yoweri Kaguta Museven, AMEN, AMEN. http://fcgospelministries.zzl.org/cecilli.html

In Summary
The IGG’s report adds that the land board
disregarded a government valuer’s report which put the value of the land at
Shs189m, way above the Shs94m at which it was sold to the two.Six families in Jinja have jointly petitioned President Museveni to intervene in a dispute involving his younger brother, Michael Nuwagira alias Toyota.
The families accuse Mr Nuwagira of threatening to evict them from the land they are occupying.
“Two weeks ago, Nuwagira Michael (Toyota)... threatened us, saying he had given us only two weeks to vacate the premises. Your Excellency, we the undersigned are seeking your intervention in this matter,” reads part of the March 11 petition.
The petitioners include Moses Bamuwamye, Ms Margaret Kulaba, Ms Maria Kasasa, Ms Enid Nabukwasi, Ms Joyce Nandego and one Mr Ssenkayi.
The petition was copied to Speaker of Parliament, State Minister for Lands, the Mayor, RDC and Chairman of the Jinja District Land Board.
The petition
“Last year, the IGG nullified the purchase of the same estate by Nuwagira Michael Toyota, your brother, because it wasn’t done in accordance with the Land Act, which states that tenants will be accorded the first priority,” they wrote.
Mr Bamuwamye said they sought Mr Museveni’s intervention because of failure by local officials to implement the recommendations of the IGG’s June 2012 report.
The report accused the Jinja District Land Board of allocating the land despite objections by Jinja Municipal Council.
The land was reportedly allocated to Mr Nuwagira and Mr Kassim Kimwero on May 15 2009.
The IGG’s report adds that the land board disregarded a government valuer’s report which put the value of the land at Shs189m, way above the Shs94m at which it was sold to the two.
The report recommended that the lease offer be rescinded and the money spent by the two refunded.
‘Reluctance’ by Jinja leaders
Mr Bamuwamye said they approached the RDC, Mr Richard Gulume, but nothing was done about the matter.
“They are most probably reluctant to handle the matter because it involves Museveni’s [brother],” he said.
However, Mr Gulume said the complainants had failed to give him the relevant documents.
“How do I proceed on this when the paper work is missing? No authority can handle this matter without the relevant documents,” he said.
Jinja Town Clerk David Kyasanku acknowledged that the IGG’s recommendations had not been implemented, but denied failure to take action because of fear.
“I know we are dealing with people connected to State House, but it is not fair for anyone to accuse us of having feared to act. Those recommendations have financial implications which the council might not be in a position to implement right now,” he said.
Minister Nantaba storms Kireka, evicts businessman

It was at about 7am when the minister, accompanied by police officers, stormed plot 1190, Kireka, and supervised the eviction of the businessman in favour of a 77- year-old woman, Ms Kevina Nantume.
The minister was responding to a plea by Ms Nantume, who accused the businessman of fraudulently acquiring her piece of land that she had legally inherited from her late aunt, Mary Namagembe.
Ms Nantaba ordered the removal of the iron sheets that the businessman had used to fence off the land. The poles that were used to erect the fence were loaded onto a truck and taken to an unknown destination. Shortly after, a truck started ferrying bricks to the site and there and then, constructing a two-roomed house for Ms Nantume started.
The junior minister spent the whole day closely supervising the construction.
Construction materials such as sand and stones that had been procured by the businessman and were on the site, were also grabbed by the minister who used them to construct the house.
Ms Natume said that her woes began in 1989 when her aunt died and she applied to the Administrator General for a letter of administration of the property. She was, however, asked to produce documents proving ownership of property.
Ms Nantume failed to produce the document but sued the Administrator General in 1998 but lost the case.
The Administrator General’s office then sued her in 2007 to recover the property. The High Court Land Division ruled that she did not have sufficient evidence to prove ownership of the land and the property was subsequently put up for sale.
The Administrator General then disposed off the land a one Abbey Nkoreki, who in February 2012, sold the same plot to Mr Twiine at Shs300 million.
Last month, the High Court Land Division summoned Ms Nantaba after she was ued by Buziranjovu Development Company Ltd, a firm that handles construction of commercial houses, over the true ownership of a piece of land in Mukono District.
Prophet Kakande speakers out on
his five marriages
Publish Date: Aug 25, 2006
You are known to keep changing wives. Doesn’t
the Bible call for monogamy?
If I didn’t believe in monogamy, I would not be separating with them. I would
now have five wives. But I first separate with one before I get another one.
This shows that I believe in having one wife. If you get a misunderstanding
with your partner, it is better to separate and marry another person than fight
and kill each other like we read in papers.
You mean if I got a serious problem with my wife,
you would allow me to divorce her?
Not all domestic problems are solved by divorce. Some problems have solutions.
The first thing couples should do if they have a problem is to pray about it.
But why did prayer fail to solve your previous
marital problems?
It is like taking a patient to hospital: he may die or he may be cured.
What are the tips for a successful marriage?
It is a combination of many things; trust, basing your love on Christian
teaching, learning and understanding each other and working towards a common
interest. But most important, seek God’s guidance.
Don’t women seduce you? Have you ever been tempted to cheat on your wife?
It doesn’t mean that when you are saved you cannot be tempted. Temptations are
always there. Of course, there are people with satanic minds who seduce me.
Those are the people who need prayers. In fact we all pray for God’s
deliverance. If you are set free by the blood of Jesus, you can always fight
temptations.
Have you thought of organising a mass wedding like
Omega church?
If believers request for it, I will conduct it. I believe in mass weddings
because they are cheaper. But so far I have not had such a request.
Are you training your children to take over? Will
you bequeath your divine powers to them?
I have no power to transfer powers. It is not a personal property. God’s gifts
are for salvation of our souls. Salvation is a gift from God. If my children
believe in Jesus Christ, they can get salvation and powers.
How do you defend yourself against people who say
you are a false prophet who uses witchcraft?
I can only quote from John 10:19-21. Again a division resulted among the Jews
because of these words. Many of them were saying: He has a demon and is mad.
Why do you listen to him? Others would say: A demon cannot open blind people’s
eyes, can it? So what they did to Jesus is what they are doing to me. I am not
surprised.
So who are you?
I am a prophet whose major work is to preach the gospel, pray for the sick,
solve peopleĆ¢€™s problems and develop communities.

Dear Tingasiga: Last Christmas, my wife and I attended mass at the Roman
Catholic Cathedral at Rushoroza, Kabale. The chief celebrant was Bishop
Callistus Rubaramira, a humble priest who preached a beautiful sermon that was
as uplifting as it was challenging.
I, who was baptised and raised in the Anglican Church, was personally
honoured and humbled to be invited to speak briefly to the congregation. The
warm reception reminded me of the words of the Apostle Paul in his Letter to
the Romans 15: 5-7: “May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you
a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one
heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise
to God.”
When one ignores the complexities and rituals imposed on Jesus by the
numerous religions and sects of Christendom, all of them claiming to worship
the same Jesus Christ of Nazareth, one discovers the simple and straightforward
message attributed to Jesus by the writers of the Gospels. Jesus is said to
have invited His first disciples: “Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers
of men.” [Mark 1:17]. Jesus did not say “follow the Pope or the Archbishop of
Canterbury or the Anglican Archbishop of Uganda
or the Catholic Archbishop of Kampala,
or any of the hundreds of pastors and “prophets” and “apostles” doing their
trade in the Name of Jesus.
“Come, follow me,” Jesus said. What a simple message! What a clear message! To
my knowledge, Jesus has never changed this direct invitation. He still invites
us to follow Him, and Him alone. If Jesus returned today, He would shock us by
the speed with which He would denounce the myriad religions and sects that have
distorted and torn apart His message, and misused His Name to serve human
politics; human greed and human arrogance at the expense of His true Gospel of
Love, of Humility and of Unity.
To be sure, Jesus would almost certainly shut down the thousands of business
enterprises that masquerade as avenues for spreading His Word in the world,
including the ones that have mushroomed all over Uganda during the last 24
years. No group has a monopoly on vice, but some seem to be better than others
at distorting Jesus’ Message. For example, while we have seen anti-Christian
conduct by the leaders of the traditional churches in Uganda, some of the newer churches have taken
the vice to a level previously seen in places like America
and Nigeria.
There was a time when pseudo-Christian deception by folks like Jim Baker,
Jimmy Swaggart, Oral Roberts and Benny Hinn seemed to be a predominantly
American enterprise. Today, many of the self-styled prophets and pastors and
apostles doing business in Uganda
have surpassed their American and Nigerian counterparts in the art of
deception, fraud and other ways of misusing the name of Jesus. Kampala newspapers have
exposed sex-scandals involving some of these charlatans.
What has been less reported is their trickery in their quest for cash. For
example, Samuel Kakande, the self-styled ‘Prophet’ of the Kakande Ministries,
has an online store that offers miracles for sale. Among the popular items [so
the website claims] are a “miracle pen” and a “blessed handkerchief.” Whereas
Jesus did not charge for his healings and exorcisms and other miracles, Prophet
Kakande is happy to offer you a “miracle pen” for the princely sum of $35. And
what does that small investment get you?
An advertisement on the website reads: “Praise God brethren, please order
yourself a miracle pen and see how the Lord God Almighty is to bless your life.
To the jobless, use it to write an application, students use it for lectures,
Prophet Samuel Kakande assures you that God will always be ahead of you stay
blessed.” And what about those “blessed handkerchiefs?” The website, equating
‘Prophet’ Kakande’s power to that of the Apostle Paul, quotes from Acts 19:
11-12: “And God did extra ordinally [sic] miracles by the hands of Paul: So
that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs and the diseases
departed from them, and evil spirits went out of them.”
For the more patient and penny-conscious among you, I can get you the exact
pens and handkerchiefs from any discount store in Toronto
or Dubai for
less than a dollar a piece. You will be no less lucky in having your problems
solved than those who buy the fake offerings by Prophet Kakande.
My free advice to you, Tingasiga: Run very fast from these fake ‘pastors’ and
‘prophets.’ Keep your money in your pockets and seek help from the Lord Jesus
Himself by studying the Gospels and the Letters of the Apostle Paul and other
writers in the New Testament.
The Lord will show you where to put your money, for He has millions of
orphans and widows and mentally ill and other needy people living with burdens
that you can directly help relieve. Seek spiritual support and growth from
Christian leaders, regardless of their religious labels, whose lives are truly
worthy of Christ.
Reject church leaders who seek and insist on celebrity; who seek power over
the lives of the members of their church; who lack the humility and lowliness
that Jesus repeatedly showed all with whom he interacted during His Ministry;
and who have failed to keep their “lives free from the love of money and to be
content with what they have.” [Hebrews 13:5].
John MacArthur, an evangelist out of California,
has put it very well. He writes: “Under the plan God has ordained for the
church, leadership is a position of humble, loving service. Church leadership
is ministry, not management. Those whom God designates as leaders are called
not to be governing monarchs, but humble slaves; not slick celebrities, but
labouring servants.
Those who would lead God’s people must above all exemplify sacrifice,
devotion, submission, and lowliness. Jesus Himself gave us the pattern when He
stooped to wash His disciples’ feet, a task that was customarily done by the
lowest of slaves (John 13). If the Lord of the universe would do that, no
church leader has a right to think of himself as a bigwig.” This is a standard
to which every church leader must be held.
