When Uganda Pentecostals Celebrate a Rigged Election: Pastor Joshua Bosco Lwere Preaches dominion theology instead of repentance

35For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it. 36For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 37Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 38Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. (Mark 8:35-38)

When Uganda Pentecostals Celebrate a Rigged Election: Pastor Joshua Bosco Lwere Preaches dominion theology instead of repentance at a presidential thanksgiving service and luncheon at State House Entebbe

Pentecostals in Uganda have already joined the Ecumenical movement

On Sunday 20th March 2011, an ecumenical presidential thanksgiving service and luncheon was held at State House Entebbe. Pentecostals were in the driver’s seat during this occasion. A Pentecostal choir(Pastor Kayazze's Omega Healing Choir) was clad in yellow, the official color for Museveni’s National Resistance Movement. Pastor Joseph Serwadda was sitting very close Dr. Cyprian Kizito, the head of the catholic church in Uganda. When the camera person focused on Pastor Serwadda, he really looked very uncomfortable. I THINK Deep inside him he knew that what he was doing was wrong. Pastor Michael Kyazze of Omega Healing centre opened the intercessions. Surely, God has lifted the Pentecostals from the dust and made them sit with princes HAAAA!!!

Sincerely, the Pentecostal movement in Uganda has become a den of Pharisees and hypocrites. How can men and Women of God celebrate election theft. What kind of Jesus do they worship??? Jesus of Nazareth or the American Designer Jesus. The Pentecostal movement in Uganda has become a complete WHORE . It is in bed with the state, TBN heretics and the WORLD. The God of the Pentecostal movement in Uganda is Materialism and POWER.

Pastor Joshua Bosco Lwere’s Dominion Summon

I could not help laughing while I watched this thanks giving service on UBC. During this service Pastor Lwere’s summon was on having dominion in the world . He told the congregation which also comprised a big section of the most corrupt NRM cadres who have been implicated in scandals such as CHOGM etc, that God created them to have dominion in the world. He also told them that God gave them talents which they must account for when they meet God. He also told President Museveni to appoint more Josephs. After Pastor Lwere’s Summon President Museveni thanked him for such a good sermon. GOOD SERMON INDEED!!!

Do you think Pastor Lwere’s Summon was God’s message to such a corrupt congregation. As Pastor Lwere preached one could clearly see, the hypocrisy on his face. He of course preached such a summon to make the president and the congregation feel God. He actually managed to save his life, but remember Jesus said whoever saves his life will loose it.

Note:

Pastor Joshua Lwere is the senior Pastor of a Gospel Assembly Church in Old Kampala. He is an expert on curses and curse breaking. In 2009, it was reported that he attended an ecumenical meeting at Kasubi tombs.

A cool Sunday, a happy people and a good reason to thank God; that, pretty much sums up the mood at last Sunday’s presidential thanksgiving service and luncheon at State House Entebbe to which President Yoweri Museveni and his wife Janet, invited guests to celebrate another victory for the NRM government.

People from all walks of life were invited to partake of the bread and the wine that was the NRM triumph. President Museveni was his usual jovial self, welcoming guests to his resplendent home. His wife Janet was also on hand, calmly smiling, meeting and greeting the guests.

At the behest of Allen Kagina, the day’s MC, Rev. Dr. Medard Birungi opened the prayers while Pastor Michael Kyazze of Omega Healing centre opened the intercessions, the first of which was led by Dorothy Kisaka, a lawyer and NRM electoral commission head.

Brigadier Wakalo prayed for peace and security while Lorna Magara prayed for the youth. Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese, Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga, prayed for good leadership, peace and justice.

All guests hearkened in moments of quiet to reflect on the long journey that this country has taken to recovery. It was a divine moment punctuated by gospel hymns and songs of praise from Omega healing centre choir, Namirembe Cathedral choir as well as Christ the King church choir.

It was a spiritual moment in which the President himself felt inspired enough to say a prayer, quoting a biblical verse: “Pray you will be given. Seek and you will find.” He noted that if Ugandans practiced what is preached in the Bible, the country would be peaceful.

The First Lady thanked God for the peace which prevailed during the campaigns and elections and prayed for unity. The president’s granddaughter, Ihunde, weighed in too with a beautiful prayer: “shout to the Lord... do something for the Lord to show that you are happy...” the little pretty girl read out from Psalms 100, to the admiration of the congregation.

Pastor Joshua Bosco Lwere of Grace Assembly Church led the sermon praying for wisdom and counsel to that of young Joseph son of Jacob “The president should appoint more Josephs,” he joked.

It was a lovely day marked by merry making, exchange of pleasantries and at which the president expressed his heartfelt gratitude for all that had been done to bring on yet another victory. He also assured Ugandans of his plans to develop Uganda to a middle income country in the next five years.

“We are now $550 per capita but we are aiming at $1,000 per capita. We shall concentrate on electricity, roads, building railways using the army, some aspects of education, health, some aspects of agriculture especially NAADS and scientific research,” he said.

“We shall also exploit our oil to give us more financial resources.”
