A RELIGIOUS sect that preserves dead bodies is seeking to build a multi-million dollar autonomous city in Rakai district.
The Sserulanda Spiritual Foundation hopes to turn 200 square miles adjacent to Lake Victoria into a free trade zone, dubbed Ssessamirembe Spiritual City. The area covers the sub-counties of Kabira, Kakuuto and parts of Kooki.
The group, suspected to be a cult, allows its members to choose whether to be buried or have their bodies preserved and kept in a common room, when they die.
On Wednesday, Saturday Vision saw three of the former members' bodies in a secluded permanent house in Kabira village, about 20 minutes' drive off the Masaka-Rakai highway.
While two of the bodies lay in coffins, another - belonging to a woman - was on a cradle neatly covered with white linen. Beside the bodies were lit candles. An elderly woman clad in gloves and a lesu was treating the bodies. The members strictly prohibit visitors from taking pictures inside the room.
"We can even preserve your smile if you asked to have it preserved," a member told this reporter.
Saturday Vision also saw three grave yards, implying that the majority of the group's members are buried. Some graves were bigger than others.
"Each grave is given a different value, depending on whether the person was an initiate (has spiritual power)," explains the group's general administrator, Sseewabwewi Kyalisiima.
Contrary to common practice where graves are dug, here they are built up to waist level so that the body lies at ground level. This is allegedly to imitate the legendary Egyptian Pyramids.
Sserulanda's members include high-profile personalities such as Gertrude Njuba, a presidential advisor on land matters. It is headed by His Imperishable Glory Ssaabayimiransibo Bambi Baaba Baabuwe, a Ugandan who has been living in the US for the last 15 years.
God in human form
Baaba is said to wield immense power over his followers, who consider him as a "god in human form." He is said to have got a vision as early as three years of age to build a city and eradicate poverty. His real name was Jozzewafe Mugonza, and he grew up as a herbalist, diviner and healer, operating in Kyotera and Kalisizo in Rakai district. He reportedly later linked up with some Indian businessmen in Kyotera who sponsored him to travel to India in 1969.
There he went through what his followers call the "12 stages of initiation" and became a "disciple of a divine living Master of Ancient Wisdom". By the late 1970's, he reportedly started buying land from individual households in Rakai, until he was able to secure a vast expanse of land.
When visiting the place, Saturday Vision found a huge plot which has shrubs and scattered shacks. A dusty murram road winds its way through the grass and anthills to a huge shrine, curved out of a rock. The man-made cave has a purple curtain hanging at the entrance. No one enters with shoes. Inside, a fire place is surrounded by dry grass that is carefully spread out for visitors to sit on. The fire burns day and night. In one corner is a portrait of the spiritual leader, Baaba.
Members are strictly forbidden from eating meat or any animal product, and drinking alcohol. This is allegedly in line with the teachings of Baaba, who combines Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh and traditional Bachwezi practices in his religion.
Other practices include common ownership of some assets for the "common good" like land, kitchen, cattle kraal, reference library and burial grounds. Though members are allowed to own some personal private property like houses, cars, radios or television sets, they are all required to contribute to the common good.
Anyone who fails to contribute, risks having their membership cancelled or be denied access to communally owned resources.
The group has a charter which specifies how they will govern themselves in the autonomous city, according to information posted on their website www.sseesamirembe.com. They will have powers to enact their own laws, ordinances, by-laws and procedures, as well as provide and maintain a security force for the protection of the inhabitants of the city. Their judicial system will be led by a "High Chancellor" and only permanent residents of the zone will be eligible to hold the office of a "Governing Chancellor". They will provide their own social services and infrastructure, independent of the central Government.
Key projects already planned by the group include an international airport, an airport city, hotels, international schools, shopping malls, business centres and cultural villages. It is planned to accommodate about 500,000 people.
Chinese investor
To build the city, the group plans to strike agreements with investors. Already, they have signed a deal with a Chinese company, Paradise International Investment, to invest $1.5b (sh2.6trillion) in setting up infrastructure. The investment, set to kick off in December 2008, is said to become the single largest Chinese private investment in East Africa.
However, some people regard the proposed project as a dream. "This is a fairly tale," says an LC official of Kabira sub-county, who requested anonymity. "They have been talking about it since the 1980s but we have not seen anything."
Some people also fear that this is likely to be another cult like Joseph Kibwetere's Movement for the Restoration of the Ten Commandments, which forced its members to live in an isolated community in the hills of Kanungu, western Uganda. Thousands of them were burnt to death in the church on March 17, 2000.
But the group's leaders say they are being witch-hunted. "When people like Karim (Hirji) or Sudhir (Ruparelia) are investing, do you first ask whether they are Hindu?" asks Beenunula Eyeenunula, who has been appointed governor of the proposed eco-city.
Eyeenunula also insists that the aim is to attract investments to benefit rural people. "Our spiritual group is a foundation, just like Centenary Bank was founded by the Catholic Church and anybody can access it. Likewise, this city will become a free trade zone, like Dubai."
The trade zone is being aggressively promoted by Kagera Eco-Cities, an organisation owned by Eyeenunula and Njuba.
Commission of inquiry
The group is, however, under fire for its controversial practices. Earlier this year, President Yoweri Museveni set up a commission of inquiry into the activities of the Sserulanda group. There had been reports that the group was making ARVs. The commission was therefore asked to investigate "allegations of divine healing energy and capacity to cure incurable diseases".
The investigations are still going on, chaired by the dean of Makerere University Medical School, Prof. Nelson Ssewankambo.
"There have been a lot of stories and rumours about the foundation in terms of spiritual healing, and how they handle the dead people. We need to understand the organisation's activities, leadership and membership. This is crucial before the Government gives the go-ahead for a free trade zone," says Ssewankambo.
The commission also comprises the director of the Joint Clinical Research Centre, Dr. Peter Mugyenyi, and Dr. Grace Nambatya, head of research at the Natural Chemotherapeutics Research Laboratories. Other members are Richard Tushemereirwe, a state house official, and Harriet Tukamushaba, a state attorney.
Meeting the probe team on Wednesday, Presidential adviser Njuba wondered how the spiritual matters would be established.
"How will you ascertain the spiritual healing? How will you know each individual's reason for joining the project?"
Reacting to the concerns, the probe chairman Ssewankambo said they would conduct public hearings.
"We will advertise so that people come and tell us what they know about the spiritual foundation. When we reach a point where we don't understand the issues of spiritualism, we will notify the President that we are not able to proceed."
Saturday Vision has learnt that the proposal for an eco-city had already been endorsed by the Government in a memorandum of understanding that was signed by state minister for investments Ssemakula Kiwanuka on January 18, 2006. Kiwanuka was not available for comment by press time yesterday.

I first heard of Baranda group of people when I was in my first year at university. My roommate had relatives who were part of the group. Her cousin, a member of the Baranda group, used to visit her and they would argue for hours about their Baranda way of life.
I could hardly believe what I used to hear them argue about. I could not believe that after all the years Christianity has been in Uganda, there were still some people who didn’t believe in God but in a human being. Three years down the road, I decided to investigate their lifestyle.
On Friday August 26th I went to Kyotera in Rakai district. My former roommate had given me directions to her uncle, Mr. John Baguma, who is a well-known teacher in the village and one of the elders of the Baranda. He is also a father-in-law to Mugonza Bambi Baaba, the founder of the Sseruranda group.
From Kyotera town centre, I took a boda boda to Kakyanga, Bukala Village, where these people live. We rode through small footpaths in between bushes for over nine kilometres, till we reached Mr Baguma’s home. He welcomed us warmly, and treated me like a visitor other than a journalist, especially because I was friends with his niece.
After lunch at 3p.m, he settled in his chair to answer all my questions concerning his “religion”. Baguma became a Muranda in 1982, and his whole family had been part of it until 2003 when he learnt that his first-born had joined the born again Christians. The other children also followed her and quit the Baranda way of life.
According to Baguma, the Baranda used to be a very big group of people, most of whom were refugees from Bulemeezi in Luweero District during the 1979 guerilla war. Mugonza, whose title is Bambi Baaba, had built his empire by then. According to the story that run in The New Vision on January 22 2006, Mugonza was a celebrated herbalist who had worked in Kyotera and Kalisizo in Rakai Districts and Nateete, a Kampala Surburb in the 1960’s.
In 1980, he was helped by Ambrosio Mazinga, a shrewd businessman, and Bjorn Simensen, a skilled steel-processing manager, to form Astral Alanda Steel Products, which took over Camapaignia, an Italian construction company that was closing operations in Kampala. Mugonza persuaded the other directors to move the steel works industry to Sseesamirembe, where his cave was located.
The industry attracted many workers, most of whom ended up as disciples of Bambi Baaba, god to all members of the Seruranda Nsulo Yóbulamu Spiritual Foundation.
According to Mr Richard Muhumuza, who was once a Muranda, the life of these people is solely in Mugonza’s hands. They do not decide on anything by themselves.
When a woman gives birth, they ring the bell to let all members know about the good news. They then call their god, Bambi Baaba, to name the child. The kind of names he gives are unique; like Bufinini, Olulimi, Omumilo, Buka, and Sewabwewi. When a young man wants to marry, Mugonza has to approve or else it’s deemed illegal.
After approval, they wait for the number of couples to get to at least six. The brides are then kept in a special room for six months without moving out. On the final day, a grand party is held and the grooms can freely take their respective brides. When a Muranda dies, the relatives have no right to bury the body.
A bell is rung and the body immediately carried to a special house called Baloola. All the members gather outside and wait for Mugonza to decide whether the body should be buried or treated and kept in the Baloola.
Once the body is in the Baloola, none is allowed to see it except the leaders who take care of bodies. I was told that most of the graves contain three to six bodies, buried at once. The names of the people in a single grave are written on top of it.
According to Baguma, the Baranda are very good and fiercely united people, as I proved when I went to meet with the leaders of this spiritual foundation. Baguma asked his son, Mugisha, to take me to the leaders, who would give me more information and confirm what I had gathered from the neighbours and other members of the foundation, on condition that I would give him transport back since the distance was long.
Mugisha, 19 and an S.5 student, was born a Muranda, but broke away while in S.2 when his elder sister preached to him. “I know all their practices, but I’m no longer part of them. Only my parents are still members,” he said.
We sat on a boda boda and headed to the leaders’ office at around 3:30 pm. On our way, we bypassed one of the prayer alters in the middle of the bush. According to Mugisha, they do not sing like other religions and cults do. Their prayer days are Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7p.m to 9p.m.
We then got to the place where I felt like I had almost breathed my last. It was the Baloola, where the unburied bodies are kept, and where the route to the main office is. We parked the motorcycle and walked passed the Baloola to greet an old woman whom I was told looked after Mugonza before he left for USA in 1993.
I heard a bell ring, and Mugisha told me it was an alert to members to draw closer for prayers. However, the young man had misinterpreted the reason for the bell. It was an alert that there was an intruder on the “holy ground”. The next thing, I saw was people surrounding me, each one with a stick and they were panting, meaning they had run really hard!
Before I explained to them what my mission was, a phone, held by one of the leaders identified as Kasiimu, rang. The call was from one of their leaders, a top government politician’s wife. They explained to the caller what was written on my identity card and the caller demanded to talk to me. I was handed the phone, which was on hands-free because they all wanted to hear what I was going to be told.
I was not given a chance to explain anything! I was asked to leave immediately before I was beaten to death. I was given conditions if I was to come back. I was to bring letters from the ministry of information, Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Rakai District, police, and the chairman of the area. As we waited for the motorcycle, which they had hidden already, Mugonza called from USA and was told that a reporter was trying to disturb their peace. Still on hands-free, I was handed the phone and made to stand on some raised ground in “honour” of Bambi Baaba.
This time, I was not only abused, he threatened that I would die if I dared to write any story about them and publish any picture of the house with dead bodies.
“You will be bitten by snakes, run mad, be hit by a car, develop a bad odour, and suffer until you die! I’m a very bad man whom you should never joke with,” he threatened. “I’m a holy man who has never died and I will never die like your so-called Jesus! Where were you when they were crucifying him?” he continued, threatening me in Luganda with mixed Runyankole.
After long hours of abuse and threats, I was saved by a plainclothes policeman from Kabira Police Station, who had come to visit one of the leaders, and was told about the intruder in the land. He demanded to take me to the police station to make a statement after about an hour of talking to the god.
At the police station, I was released. “These people do let anyone know about their private life. If you need information, you need enough time to befriend them and then get it slowly by slowly. You were lucky they did not harm you,” the policeman, whose name I did not even have the strength to get, told me.
By the time we went back to Kyotera, it was 8p.m and I boarded the bus to Kampala, fully terrorised.
Cult being investigated
Being headed by spiritual leader Bambi Baaba who lives in the US, in this belief, followers remove shoes before they enter an all-time fire lit cave from where they worship the picture of their believed to be god, known to them as Serulanda.
It is alleged that when a follower of the sect dies, his or her body is either reserved in special room in the shrine cave, or buried in a high built grave believed to be above the earth. However this spiritual group for the last years of has not yet received direct attack from either the Anglican, catholic or muslim community
Last month, administrators of Rakai headed by district chairperson Herman Sentongo expressed their support for the sect when he presented the group as an economically productive community to the district.
The group intends to set up a free trade zone, an airport among other developments in a bid to promote trade in Rakai however, these proposals have not officially reached the Uganda investment authoriy.

THE Serulanda Spiritual Foundation in Rakai should be deregistered because it has contravened the objective for which it was registered and become a profit-making enterprise, a senior official from the lands ministry has said.
The sect was registered under the Trustees Incorporation Act, which specifies that bodies registered under this law should not engage in commercial activities.
The principal registrar of titles, Edward Karibwende, said the Serulanda Nsulo Y’Obulamu (Spring of Life) Spiritual Foundation was on May 26, 1987 registered with the lands ministry under this law, as a voluntary, charitable, spiritual organisation.
Other bodies that have been registered under this law include the Ramgharia Sikh Society and the Church of Uganda, which are registered as trusts.
Prof. Nelson Sewankambo, the chairperson of the commission probing the Serulanda activities, yesterday questioned the legal status of the organisation. He wondered whether the organisation’s intent to establish a Free Trade Zone in Rakai as a commercial undertaking, would not be a breach of the law under which the organisation was registered.
Karibwende said: “As a trust, the source of funding must not be from income-generating activities. If you are making profits, you cease to be a trust. It should be registered under the Companies Act.”
Karibwende said the sect should register under another law which allows them to carry out business.
“They should stop being a trust and cease to be candidates of this law. The minister can recall the registration and in my view, the registration (of Serulanda) qualifies to be recalled,” he said.
Pius Lubega, a former staff of the sect, said its leader, Bambibaaba, was obsessed with money.

Meeting the probe team on Wednesday, Presidential adviser Njuba wondered how the spiritual matters would be established.
“How will you ascertain the spiritual healing? How will you know each individual’s reason for joining the project?”
Reacting to the concerns, the probe chairman Ssewankambo said they would conduct public hearings.
“We will advertise so that people come and tell us what they know about the spiritual foundation. When we reach a point where we don’t understand the issues of spiritualism, we will notify the President that we are not able to proceed.”
Saturday Vision has learnt that the proposal for an eco-city had already been endorsed by the Government in a memorandum of understanding that was signed by state minister for investments Ssemakula Kiwanuka on January 18, 2006. Kiwanuka was not available for comment by press time yesterday.

Joyce Meyer is one dynamic speaker/motivator. The problem with Mrs. Meyers is that her doctrine is not Biblical. She does teach some good things but she also teaches way to many things that are not Biblically correct. Purpose
What are the beliefs, teachings & doctrines of Joyce Meyers concerning being "Born Again"? What does Joyce Meyer believe on what a person must believe to be saved? What does Joyce Meyer teach concerning Jesus on the cross and spiritual death, and salvation? Below will be various quotes from Joyce Meyer teachings from one of her booklets called "The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make", and the purpose for this information is not to be contentious or divisive, but rather to give an exposition of what Joyce Meyer teaches concerning being born again. Within the Christian Church there are many people who listen to Joyce Meyer whether on the radio, television, or by reading her books. However, many do not realize that her teachings are not in accordance with the Word of God. It is true that there are things she teaches which do line up Biblically, but the same is said of the Jehovah's Witnesses or the Mormons.
What does Joyce Meyer teach that is so bad? Is Joyce Meyer a false teacher? Is Joyce Meyer a Christian? Why should anyone be concerned? Joyce Meyers does not have all the same false teachings as those in the Faith Movement, but she does have some teachings that are the same with various Faith teachers. In a book called "The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make" Joyce Meyer teaches what it means to be born again and what Christ had to do for people to be saved. Read the following comments:
"Although your physical body will die someday, your spirit will continue to live for an eternity. Whether your spirit lives in heaven or hell depends on the choices you have made. In this book, best selling author Joyce Meyer outlines God's plan of salvation so that you can make a quality decision." (Back of the book, 1996-Edition)
"The spiritual part of you can be thought of as the part of you that cannot be seen with the natural eye. This part of you will live forever. And where the spiritual you lives depends on the decision you make as you read this book." (Page 8, 1996-Edition)

Warning, Danger Ahead!
Joyce Meyer teaches that Jesus did not pay for sin upon the cross, but actually went to the torments of hell and made atonement there. The following quote is from Joyce Meyer's 1991 booklet on being born again which is worded differently in the 1996-updated edition.
"During that time He entered hell, where you and I deserved to go (legally) because of our sin...He paid the price there.…no plan was too extreme...Jesus paid on the cross and in hell….God rose up from His throne and said to demon powers tormenting the sinless Son of God, “Let Him go.” Then the resurrection power of Almighty God went through hell and filled Jesus...He was resurrected from the dead 3Ú4 the first born-again man" (The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make: A Complete And Thorough Understanding Of What It Means To Be Born Again, 1991, pages 35-36, Joyce Meyer) This quote was found from the Christian Research Institute's article on Joyce Meyer which can be found by "Clicking Here".
In her 1996 edition of "The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make" Joyce Meyer states the same things but with different wording.
"Believe that Jesus did what the Bible says. Believe He is indeed the Son of God, born of a virgin. He took man's sin on the cross. He did not stay dead. He was in the grave three days. During that time, He entered hell, where you and I deserved to go (legally) because of our sin." (Page 41, 1996-Edition) Notice the similar wording in this quote compared to the other quote.
"Whatever it took to get God's people back, free again, is what they would do. Jesus paid for our sins on the cross and went to hell in our place." (Page 41, 1996-Edition) Whatever it took means that Jesus had to go to hell, suffer and be tormented by demons in our place.
"When Jesus hung on the cross, He took our sin upon Himself. God cannot stay in the presence of sin. As Jesus took our sin, He was separated from the presence of the Father...Jesus was taking your sins and those of everyone else upon Him as He felt this absence of His Father's presence. He said, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" [Matt. 27:46, author's paraphrase] Jesus knew it would happen, but the horror of separation from the bright presence of the Father was worse than He could of imagined, and it caused Him to cry out...and His spirit went to hell because that is where we deserved to go." (Page 42, 1996-Edition) This is a common teaching among the Faith Movement whereas they teach Jesus died spiritually and became literally the nature of sin. Thus, the Father turned away from Jesus while He was on the cross and Jesus died alone. "There is no hope of anyone going to heaven unless they believe this truth. You cannot go to heaven unless you believe with all your heart that Jesus took your place. He became your substitute and took all the punishment you deserve. He bore all your sins. He paid the dept you owe...Jesus went to hell for you. He died for you. He paid for your sins." (Page 43, 1996-Edition)
Concerning being born again and what is required to be saved we see Joyce Meyer teaching:
1.
"Believe...what the Bible says."
2.
That when Jesus was on the cross He did not stay dead but went to hell.
3.
That Jesus went to hell in our place because that is where we deserved to go.
4.
That God would do whatever it took to free His people.
5.
That there is no hope of anyone going to heaven unless they believe this truth, meaning what Jesus did to make atonement for sins.
6.
That a person must believe in their heart that Jesus took their place on the cross, He died spiritually, (implied) was separated from the Father, tormented by demons in hell, (1991-Edition) Jesus is the first born again man. (1991-Edition)

What is the Gospel?
The Scriptures are clear on what the Gospel message is.
"1 Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. 3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures" (1 Corinthians 15:1-4 NASB) The apostle Paul taught that Jesus died and rose again for our sins according to the Scriptures. Paul taught the death that Jesus died was His physical death and His shed blood. Nowhere do we find anything from Paul or any other apostle/prophet for that matter state Jesus died spiritually for our sins according to the Scriptures.
What the apostles taught concerning what Jesus did to make atonement and reconciliation for our sins:
"19 For it was the Father's good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven. 21 And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, 22 yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach" (Colossians 1:19-22, NASB)
"18 knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, 19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ." (1 Peter 1:18-19, NASB)
What Jesus taught:
"27 And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you; 28 for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins." (Matthew 26:27, NASB)
"44 Now He said to them, "These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled." 45 Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, 46 and He said to them, "Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem." (Luke 24:44-47, NASB)
"Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, 'It is finished!' And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit." (John 19:30, NASB)
Jesus taught that His death and shed blood was sufficient for the atonement of our sins. When Jesus said "It is finished" He was teaching an absolute truth that the payment for sin was paid in full. The Greek of "It is finished" is "tetelestai" which was a common way of saying dept paid in full, it is done.

What Does Born Again Mean?
Simply put being born again means becoming a new creation in Christ. Jesus taught Nicodemus what born again meant in John 3:1-21 and the message was simple. A person either accepts or rejects that Jesus came to this world to save anyone of their sins. What does it mean to accept Jesus? Jesus came first to the Jews, then after His death and resurrection the message was for the apostles to go to all people. To accept Jesus means you acknowledge you are in need of being saved, (John 3:14-18) that you believe Jesus was the Messiah and God come in the flesh, (John 8:24) that Jesus had the same authority and equality as the Father, (John 5:18-23 & John 10:30) that Jesus was the only way to the Father and for salvation, (John 14:6) that Jesus taught the Father, the Holy Spirit and Himself were three distinct personages from one another. (John 14-16)
John the apostle teaches what born again means:
"4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith. 5 Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?"..."10 The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning His Son. 11 And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life."..."20 And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life." ( 1 John 5, NASB)

What Will You Do?
It is clear that Joyce Meyer teaches another gospel message concerning what born again means and what is required to believe in order to be saved. This information shows Biblically that Joyce Meyer is not teaching the Biblical Gospel message and those who listen to her should be concerned. We believe she is teaching false doctrines of the message of hope and eternal life, and anyone who is serious about wanting to know truth needs to be open to examining this further. This is not an attack on Joyce Meyer in any way, but rather as said before an exposition on what she teaches concerning being born again.
We are warned in the Scriptures to be careful of those who claim to be of God but are in fact wolves in sheep's clothing. There are false prophets & apostles, and false Christ's:
"Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves." (Matthew 7:15, NASB)
"For false Christ's and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.." (Matthew 24:24, NASB)
"28 "Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. 29 "I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; 30 and from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them. 31 "Therefore be on the alert, remembering that night and day for a period of three years I did not cease to admonish each one with tears." (Acts 20:28-31, NASB)
"13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 14 No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds." (2 Corinthians 11:13-15, NASB)
We are instructed to examine all people and doctrines for truth, and reject false teachers and doctrines:
"10 The brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea, and when they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so." (Acts 17:10-11, NASB)
"But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good" (1 Thessalonians 5:21, NASB)
"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15, NASB)
"2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, 4 and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths." Joyce Meyer is one dynamic speaker/motivator. The problem with Mrs. Meyers is that her doctrine is not Biblical. She does teach some good things but she also teaches way to many things that are not Biblically correct. Like the rest of the Word Faith, Seed Faith, Name It And Claim it crowd, Mrs. Meyers lives an extravagant lifestyle. She has all her clothes tailor made for her and lives in a multi-million dollar home, her husband drives a $100,000 automobile, her and their children all drive expensive vehicles, paid for by the Ministry and she fly's around the country in her Multi-million dollar jet plane when she isn't taking time to vacation at her home in the Ozarks, paid for by the Ministry. I truly believe these millions of dollars could have been used more efficiently on other causes other than to give her and her family a rich lifestyle. I do not think they should live as dirt poor persons but I certainly do not recognize any sacrifice on their parts. In a book called "The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make" Joyce Meyer teaches what it means to be born again and what Christ had to do for people to be saved. Read the following comments:

Warning, Danger Ahead!
Joyce Meyer teaches that Jesus did not pay for sin upon the cross, but actually went to the torments of hell and made atonement there. The following quote is from Joyce Meyer's 1991 booklet on being born again which is worded differently in the 1996-updated edition.
"During that time He entered hell, where you and I deserved to go (legally) because of our sin...He paid the price there.…no plan was too extreme...Jesus paid on the cross and in hell….God rose up from His throne and said to demon powers tormenting the sinless Son of God, “Let Him go.” Then the resurrection power of Almighty God went through hell and filled Jesus...He was resurrected from the dead 3Ú4 the first born-again man" (The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make: A Complete And Thorough Understanding Of What It Means To Be Born Again, 1991, pages 35-36, Joyce Meyer) This quote was found from the Christian Research Institute's article on Joyce Meyer which can be found by "Clicking Here".
In her 1996 edition of "The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make" Joyce Meyer states the same things but with different wording.
"Believe that Jesus did what the Bible says. Believe He is indeed the Son of God, born of a virgin. He took man's sin on the cross. He did not stay dead. He was in the grave three days. During that time, He entered hell, where you and I deserved to go (legally) because of our sin." (Page 41, 1996-Edition) Notice the similar wording in this quote compared to the other quote.
"Whatever it took to get God's people back, free again, is what they would do. Jesus paid for our sins on the cross and went to hell in our place." (Page 41, 1996-Edition) Whatever it took means that Jesus had to go to hell, suffer and be tormented by demons in our place.
"When Jesus hung on the cross, He took our sin upon Himself. God cannot stay in the presence of sin. As Jesus took our sin, He was separated from the presence of the Father...Jesus was taking your sins and those of everyone else upon Him as He felt this absence of His Father's presence. He said, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" [Matt. 27:46, author's paraphrase] Jesus knew it would happen, but the horror of separation from the bright presence of the Father was worse than He could of imagined, and it caused Him to cry out...and His spirit went to hell because that is where we deserved to go." (Page 42, 1996-Edition) This is a common teaching among the Faith Movement whereas they teach Jesus died spiritually and became literally the nature of sin. Thus, the Father turned away from Jesus while He was on the cross and Jesus died alone. "There is no hope of anyone going to heaven unless they believe this truth. You cannot go to heaven unless you believe with all your heart that Jesus took your place. What is the Gospel?
The Scriptures are clear on what the Gospel message is.
"1 Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. 3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures" (1 Corinthians 15:1-4 NASB) The apostle Paul taught that Jesus died and rose again for our sins according to the Scriptures. Paul taught the death that Jesus died was His physical death and His shed blood. Nowhere do we find anything from Paul or any other apostle/prophet for that matter state Jesus died spiritually for our sins according to the Scriptures.
What the apostles taught concerning what Jesus did to make atonement and reconciliation for our sins:
"19 For it was the Father's good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven. 21 And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, 22 yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach" (Colossians 1:19-22, NASB)

What Jesus taught:

Jesus taught that His death and shed blood was sufficient for the atonement of our sins. When Jesus said "It is finished" He was teaching an absolute truth that the payment for sin was paid in full. The Greek of "It is finished" is "tetelestai" which was a common way of saying dept paid in full, it is done.

What Does Born Again Mean?
Simply put being born again means becoming a new creation in Christ. Jesus taught Nicodemus what born again meant in John 3:1-21 and the message was simple. A person either accepts or rejects that Jesus came to this world to save anyone of their sins. What does it mean to accept Jesus? Jesus came first to the Jews, then after His death and resurrection the message was for the apostles to go to all people. To accept Jesus means you acknowledge you are in need of being saved, (John 3:14-18) that you believe Jesus was the Messiah and God come in the flesh, (John 8:24) that Jesus had the same authority and equality as the Father, (John 5:18-23 & John 10:30) that Jesus was the only way to the Father and for salvation, (John 14:6) that Jesus taught the Father, the Holy Spirit and Himself were three distinct personages from one another. (John 14-16)
John the apostle teaches what born again means:
"4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith. 5 Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?"..."10 The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning His Son. 11 And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life."..."20 And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. It is clear that Joyce Meyer teaches another gospel message concerning what born again means and what is required to believe in order to be saved. This information shows Biblically that Joyce Meyer is not teaching the Biblical Gospel message and those who listen to her should be concerned. We believe she is teaching false doctrines of the message of hope and eternal life, and anyone who is serious about wanting to know truth needs to be open to examining this further. This is not an attack on Joyce Meyer in any way, but rather as said before an exposition on what she teaches concerning being born again.
We are warned in the Scriptures to be careful of those who claim to be of God but are in fact wolves in sheep's clothing. There are false prophets & apostles, and false Christ's:
"Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves." (Matthew 7:15, NASB)
"For false Christ's and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.." (Matthew 24:24, NASB)

Bro.Loren sponsored the seminar him self including the meals because he was aware that many African cannot afford to pay. If Bill Hybels wants to equip African leaders to spread the gospel, why charge a lot of money???? Why not put the seminar in a cheap place like Nakivubo stadium, so that the poor can attend. The bible says, you will see them by their fruits.

Despite the cover ups of the sexual and other sins of prosperity Pastors in Uganda , the truth has come out and God’s word has exalted itself. It is written, there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed. I one time went to Pastor Kiwewesi’s church and was amazed by the fact that despite the glamour and beauty of the church, a different Jesus is worshipped there.A friend of mine was told by God (in a dream) a few months back that Pastor Kiwewesi’s church was a Esabo(a shine where witchdoctors worship their devils from) and Kiwewesi was the priest in that shrine. This friend of mine was shocked after hearing the scandal in the media.

Pastor Kiwewesi has wasted time preaching dominion theology. According to him, the gospel of the kingdom is ‘’never give up till the battle is over’’. The battle he talks about is geared at amassing material wealth and domineering the physical world. He even has a TV programme on LTV where he preaches earthly vanities(material prosperity). He has fornicated with TBN apostates like Benny Hinn . These apostates not preaching cult Christianity(like the catholic church and others) but occultic Christianity. I CALL UPON PASTOR KIWEWESI TO REPENT.The words purity, righteousness, holiness do not seem to be in Pastor Kiwewesi's theology.

Ugandan News Media has been awash with stories of high profile Pastors in Uganda’s Evangelical Church accused of Sodomy and Child Molestation. The latest case has been Pastor Isaac Kiwewesi of Kansanga Miracle Center (www.kmc.ug) who has been accused of sodomizing a church member.
Mr Arinaitwe, who says he was employed at Kansanga Miracle Centre from 2002, has filed a case with Kabalagala Police Station alleging that Pastor Kiwewesi sodomised him between 2006 and 2007 and promised to pay him Shs3 million. “He used me until 2007 when he got married. He promised me Sh3 million for my parents and said he would send me to the US to stay there with his cousin,” he told Daily Monitor on Monday.
Mr Arinaitwe also accuses Pastor Kiwewesi of harassment and threatening him with death after learning that he was coming out with the “secret”. His Church is an offspring of the Rubaga Miracle Center Cathedral, one of the largest Mega Churches in Uganda, Pastured by Robert Kayanja who frequents as guest speaker of TBN’s Praise The Lord, and has himself over the years been rumored to be engaged in Homosexuality. Pastor Jackson Ssenyonga, the senior pastor of Christian Life Centre was arrested last Saturday for allegedly molesting a 13-year-old girl while on a flight in the United States of America (USA). The Contra Costa Times newspaper in the US reported that Sheriff's deputies (American policemen) apprehended Past Ssenyonga at Oakland International Airport accused of molesting the girl on a flight that originated in Denver to Oakland.

These stories though in some cases inflated by the local press and tabloids in particular, are factual as the victims are real. In Africa, the Law enforcement suffers from corruption and often the offenders go unpunished. Pastors use this weakness to bribe law enforcement out of serious crimes like sodomy.
Many folks from The West, Apostasy seems to be defined only in Western Countries and it is very difficult for such individuals to phantom the idea that the Church in general, globally is experiencing apostasy. However, with the advent of telecommunication and faster transportation, sin, evil, and apostasy in the church seem to be evident every where around the globe. Apostasy has become global. If there is an instance of Apostasy you can name in the West, be sure you will find it in some other country that clinches on Western Ideology.
The Church in Africa has not been immune to sin and apostasy. Just like in the West, The Love of money has been a source of all kinds of evil in the African Church. Almost all types of vices associated with apostasy in the Western Church are clearly visible in the African Church especially in Uganda, a country though very poor yet fancies in the Hollywood type of lifestyles especially among the “African Middle Class”.

What this means is that as the secular “African Middle Class” grows and yearns for more of Hollywood and pomp lifestyles, the ‘spiritual’ “African Middle Class” seeks for counterparts in the West to satisfy the desire for more materialism but using the Gospel as a means to cover the nakedness and shame associated with such a vice in the midst of people without.
So, the prosperity gospel has been a vehicle through which greed can be fully exercised without the fear of guilt from the poor whose silence by what they see is an indictment to the “African Middle Class” – their irresponsibility in caring for the poor. You often hear statements like, “give all you have to the Pastor and God will take away your poverty…” The Pastor then ends up living in a Million Dollar Mansion and driving a Hummer – in Africa, in the midst of very poor and malnourished people.
Ugandan Pastors normally frequent Western Capitals in search for “Donations” and “Sponsors” to help build large churches – Mega Churches in Uganda. It is in this search for money that many fall prey to Sodomites and Pedophiles in the West who use Christianity as Cover.
When the Ugandan Pastor returns to Africa, they begin to prey on their congregations by Sodomizing and committing acts of Pedophilia to the young. Such vices are not only sanctioned to the Western Church but now the African Church has to deal with them. The believers in Africa have not only had their little resources stolen by Prosperity Preachers but now are sodomised and molested by those who claim to represent Christ. Western Christians continue to give to such ministers so as to report big numbers in their yearly budgets. My prayer is that you will stop supporting such conmen, thieves, thugs, robbers, sodomites, pedophiles who pretend to represent Christ but don't!

I have been warming Born again Christians in Uganda about Pastor Manjeri’s confusing world. Now we seem to have a clue at last. This scandal is a shame to Pastor Irene Manjeri, although she is protected by the powers that be. Imagine!!! A pastor, who claims to make the lame walk, has enabled a guard to maim a young girl. Why has Manjeri refused to defend her self in media??? We have waited for her story but to no, avail. Shame upon you Pastor Manjeri. The name of the Lord is blasphemed among the gentiles because of pastors like you. You preach liberty but you are a servant of corruption.REPENT. Life for Peace Muhindo on the streets was challenging but it became worse when a pastor took her into an orphanage, apparently to give her the comfort the streets could not offer.
Currently admitted at Mulago Hospital, the 15 year-old-girl is so thin that her bed has swallowed her up. She owns nothing but a uniform she acquired while at Butabika Hospital.
She is paralysed below her waist and she can not move her lower abdomen. In spite of her illness, it is evident in her speech and manner that she is a brilliant girl and full of life.
Ironically, Peace has never had peace, right from birth. She was orphaned before she turned three. According to her birth certificate, she was born to Francis Byamukama and Lillian Tumusiime. (The certificate also shows that she is called Dorcus Asiimwe).
She was then adopted and raised by Ivan Atoru and Benetta Logua, a couple living in Adjumani. At the age of 10, the only parents she knew decided to take her to Mbarara to find her real relatives.
“They left me at a police station in Mbarara,” Muhindo recollects. Announcements were made over radio for her relatives to pick her. Mr Johnson Kisembo of Nsambya Police barracks in Kampala came claiming to be her father.
He failed to prove the claim and he was sent away but he returned days later insisting Peace was his child. The Police finally relented and let him take the child. Little did they know that this would mark the start of the girl’s journey into misery and suffering.
It is Mr Kisembo who renamed her Peace Muhindo and enrolled her at a primary school in Fort Portal in Primary Six. Kisembo’s mother took care of her in Fort Portal. Much as she had performed well and had been promoted to Primary Seven, Peace had to drop out of school because Mr Kisembo claimed he could not afford her fees.
“His relatives put me on a bus and sent me to Kampala. When I got to Nsambya, he began mistreating me, called me a costly liability and eventually threw me out of his house,” she told Daily Monitor.
It was while on the streets in 2005 that Peace was picked by Pastor Irene Nalongo Manjeri of Bethel Healing Centre on Entebbe Road. She took her to an orphanage called Bethel in Kitovu-Kajjansi, Wakiso District.
The orphanage, with incomplete buildings and heaps of sand in the compound, is owned and administered by the pastor.
Muhindo says Pastor Manjeri took her and four other girls to enrol at Sacred Heart Nalubadde Primary School. But according to Mr Justus Masaba, the headmaster, Muhindo was stubborn and was relocated to Tuzukuke Primary School.
According to Muhindo, her woes in the orphanage began on October 11, 2007. She says as they prepared for school, a guard and fellow orphans trapped her in the dormitory and beat her.
“The girls said God had revealed to them in a dream that I’m not an orphan and so they were going to beat me until I confessed my sin and repented!” she narrated, adding that the caretakers were party to the violence. She says she was battered into unconsciousness.
It took the intervention of neighbours and local council officials to save her. They rushed her to the nearby Kajjansi police post. “When the pastor was called by the Police at Kajjansi, she refused and instead went to Wandegeya Police Station the following day.
A policewoman from Wandegeya and the pastor took me to Mulago Hospital for treatment,” Muhindo said. “The policewoman, who I remember was called Nalongo, was joined by another woman with whom they had previously resolved to take me to Butabika Hospital, claiming I was mentally unstable.” Nurses and doctors at Butabika examined Muhindo but established that she was sane. The doctors handed her over to the hospital’s social workers.
“When she was brought to me, I had no reason to doubt her sanity,” Mr Justus Twesigye, a senior social worker at Butabika, said. He said he could not take Muhindo back to the orphanage, instead sending her to Mr Kisembo, who denied her.
With no place to go, she was kept at the hospital.
“She was supposed to do her PLE and I took her to the school where she had registered. She did her exams and passed with 18 aggregates, emerging the best in the school,” Mr Twesigye said.
For months, Muhindo lived at Butabika Hospital; a healthy 14-year-old among thousands of mentally ill people.
Nine months later, Butabika administration decided take Muhindo back to Kajjansi police post.
“She was brought here and we took her back to the orphanage,” an officer from the child and family protection unit at the police post said.
Muhindo says Pastor Manjeri was angry when she found her in the dorm that evening. According to Muhindo, the pastor who threatened to kill her, said she was a curse and was bringing bad omen to the orphanage. Pastor Manjeri ordered a guard to beat her and push her out of the orphanage.
“He used his gun to beat me until I could not move,” Muhindo said. “He kicked me several times and hit me on the back with the gun. He then pulled and threw me out of the gate where sympathisers came to my rescue and called the local council officials.”
She says that the local leaders took her to Kajjansi police, who in turn took her to Katwe Police Clinic. “I spent two nights in pain until I was brought here to Mulago Hospital but I am paralysed. I can not know when I am urinating or how many times,” she narrates with pain written all over her face.
Doctors have advised her against eating solid food because she can not pass out faeces. “I can not sit, nod my head nor stand up. The people who take care of me are sympathisers who met me here,” she says.
And on Wednesday, the Police summoned Pastor Manjeri over Muhindo’s case. The pastor, who had refused to share her side of the story with the press, was quizzed for hours at Kajjansi Police Station over her involvement in the torture of Muhindo.
“She has recorded a statement and was released on police bond,” the Kampala Extra Police spokesman, Mr Simeo Nsubuga, said.
“Police opened a case file number SD: 37/24/06/08 against Pastor Manjeri. She is expected to be summoned again at an unspecified date as investigations into the beating of teenage girl proceed.” As the Police proceed with the case, children rights activists have also been sucked in. Ms Barbara Babweteera, a lawyer with Fida, says the group has taken up the matter.
“While on the fact finding mission, social workers at Mulago informed us that they had approached many organisations but nothing had come through,” Ms Babweteera says.
According to Ms Babweteera, Fida intends to use the name and shame strategy to expose Muhindo’s tormentors, besides instituting a court process to bring them to book. “We intend to effect arrest through the office of the Inspector General of Police. We call for any assistance for Peace through human rights activists,” she appealed.
But as these appeals are made and the Police continue with investigations, Muhindo lies in the hospital bed, in pain, hoping that justice can be done.

PEACE Muhindo is helpless and paralysed on the left side thanks to a spinal cord injury. She writhes in pain on her Ward 2B bed at Mulago Hospital where she was dumped and has been admitted since June 26.
The 15-year-old former street child was only helped when FIDA, an association of women lawyers came to her rescue earlier this month and took over her medical bills.
FIDA lawyer Barbra Bawetera said her organisation was tipped by a Good Samaritan. Now the Police are investigating Pastor Irene Manjeri Nalongo whom the girl accused of assault.
However, two months after the incident, the Police are yet to make any arrests.
The head of the professional standards unit, John Ndungutse, said detectives were investigating the way the case has been handled.
The pastor, according to Muhindo, instructed her guards to beat her up so as to “cast out demons” from her.
Manjeri is the founder of Bethel Healing Centre Ministries, which owns a string of churches and orphanages. She is a senior pastor at the church located in Kitovu, Kanjjansi, off Kampala-Entebbe highway. She runs a branch at the former Pride Theatre on Namirembe Road.
Muhindo had lived in Manjeri’s Bethel Orphanage where she had been admitted since 2005.
The girl said after the beating, she was dumped at Butabika Mental Hospital on October 17, 2007, where she lived for nine months.
Muhindo told the Police she was forcefully taken to the hospital on Manjeri’s orders.
In support of this, Butabika’s senior medical social worker, Justus Twesigye, said Muhindo has never been mentally unstable.
“Instead, she was physically abused and dumped in Butabika.”
The Police, he said, insisted that Muhindo must be admitted. “We assessed her and found she was not mentally sick.”
In a reaction, Manjeri told Bukedde, a New Vision sister paper and leading Luganda daily, that Muhindo fought with two other children in 2007 and got “severely injured”.
After treatment, Manjeri added, Muhindo was taken to Butabika when she showed signs of “mental instability”.
She said Muhindo’s father, Simon Kisembo, a Police officer, lives in Nsambya Barracks.
Muhindo, Manjeri said, sneaked back to the orphanage but later “disappeared”.
The pastor said nothing about the assault.
However, a Mulago medical social worker, John Baptist Ebaat, said when Manjeri discovered that Muhindo was back in the orphanage, she ordered the guard to beat her up.
“The guard beat her until she was unconscious.”
She was taken to Katwe Police Station, which referred her to Mulago.
Katwe district Police commander Aggrey Nshekanabo yesterday said the girl went to the station to look for her father but the officers failed to find him.
Muhindo, he said, went away but later in the day, came back “claiming she had been beaten”.
Manjeri’s husband Dr. Vincent Katongole admitted his wife had talked to him about the girl but placed the responsibility on the guard and his employer.
“The lawyers of the security company where the guard comes from are handling the case,” he said.
“The guard was employed by a private security firm and they take responsibility.”
Mulago spokesman Elifaz Sekabira said although Muhindo was “completely paralysed”, she had received death threats.
The hospital, he added, had consequently asked for Police protection.

Life for Peace Muhindo on the streets was challenging but it became worse when a pastor took her into an orphanage, apparently to give her the comfort the streets could not offer.
Currently admitted at Mulago Hospital, the 15 year-old-girl is so thin that her bed has swallowed her up. She owns nothing but a uniform she acquired while at Butabika Hospital.
She is paralysed below her waist and she can not move her lower abdomen. In spite of her illness, it is evident in her speech and manner that she is a brilliant girl and full of life.
Ironically, Peace has never had peace, right from birth. She was orphaned before she turned three. According to her birth certificate, she was born to Francis Byamukama and Lillian Tumusiime. (The certificate also shows that she is called Dorcus Asiimwe).
She was then adopted and raised by Ivan Atoru and Benetta Logua, a couple living in Adjumani. At the age of 10, the only parents she knew decided to take her to Mbarara to find her real relatives.
“They left me at a police station in Mbarara,” Muhindo recollects. Announcements were made over radio for her relatives to pick her. Mr Johnson Kisembo of Nsambya Police barracks in Kampala came claiming to be her father.
He failed to prove the claim and he was sent away but he returned days later insisting Peace was his child. The Police finally relented and let him take the child. Little did they know that this would mark the start of the girl’s journey into misery and suffering.
It is Mr Kisembo who renamed her Peace Muhindo and enrolled her at a primary school in Fort Portal in Primary Six. Kisembo’s mother took care of her in Fort Portal. Much as she had performed well and had been promoted to Primary Seven, Peace had to drop out of school because Mr Kisembo claimed he could not afford her fees.
“His relatives put me on a bus and sent me to Kampala. When I got to Nsambya, he began mistreating me, called me a costly liability and eventually threw me out of his house,” she told Daily Monitor.
It was while on the streets in 2005 that Peace was picked by Pastor Irene Nalongo Manjeri of Bethel Healing Centre on Entebbe Road. She took her to an orphanage called Bethel in Kitovu-Kajjansi, Wakiso District.
The orphanage, with incomplete buildings and heaps of sand in the compound, is owned and administered by the pastor.
Muhindo says Pastor Manjeri took her and four other girls to enrol at Sacred Heart Nalubadde Primary School. But according to Mr Justus Masaba, the headmaster, Muhindo was stubborn and was relocated to Tuzukuke Primary School.
According to Muhindo, her woes in the orphanage began on October 11, 2007. She says as they prepared for school, a guard and fellow orphans trapped her in the dormitory and beat her.
“The girls said God had revealed to them in a dream that I’m not an orphan and so they were going to beat me until I confessed my sin and repented!” she narrated, adding that the caretakers were party to the violence. She says she was battered into unconsciousness.
It took the intervention of neighbours and local council officials to save her. They rushed her to the nearby Kajjansi police post. “When the pastor was called by the Police at Kajjansi, she refused and instead went to Wandegeya Police Station the following day.
A policewoman from Wandegeya and the pastor took me to Mulago Hospital for treatment,” Muhindo said. “The policewoman, who I remember was called Nalongo, was joined by another woman with whom they had previously resolved to take me to Butabika Hospital, claiming I was mentally unstable.” Nurses and doctors at Butabika examined Muhindo but established that she was sane. The doctors handed her over to the hospital’s social workers.
“When she was brought to me, I had no reason to doubt her sanity,” Mr Justus Twesigye, a senior social worker at Butabika, said. He said he could not take Muhindo back to the orphanage, instead sending her to Mr Kisembo, who denied her.
With no place to go, she was kept at the hospital.
“She was supposed to do her PLE and I took her to the school where she had registered. She did her exams and passed with 18 aggregates, emerging the best in the school,” Mr Twesigye said.
For months, Muhindo lived at Butabika Hospital; a healthy 14-year-old among thousands of mentally ill people.
Nine months later, Butabika administration decided take Muhindo back to Kajjansi police post.
“She was brought here and we took her back to the orphanage,” an officer from the child and family protection unit at the police post said.
Muhindo says Pastor Manjeri was angry when she found her in the dorm that evening. According to Muhindo, the pastor who threatened to kill her, said she was a curse and was bringing bad omen to the orphanage. Pastor Manjeri ordered a guard to beat her and push her out of the orphanage.
“He used his gun to beat me until I could not move,” Muhindo said. “He kicked me several times and hit me on the back with the gun. He then pulled and threw me out of the gate where sympathisers came to my rescue and called the local council officials.”
She says that the local leaders took her to Kajjansi police, who in turn took her to Katwe Police Clinic. “I spent two nights in pain until I was brought here to Mulago Hospital but I am paralysed. I can not know when I am urinating or how many times,” she narrates with pain written all over her face.
Doctors have advised her against eating solid food because she can not pass out faeces. “I can not sit, nod my head nor stand up. The people who take care of me are sympathisers who met me here,” she says.
And on Wednesday, the Police summoned Pastor Manjeri over Muhindo’s case. The pastor, who had refused to share her side of the story with the press, was quizzed for hours at Kajjansi Police Station over her involvement in the torture of Muhindo.
“She has recorded a statement and was released on police bond,” the Kampala Extra Police spokesman, Mr Simeo Nsubuga, said.
“Police opened a case file number SD: 37/24/06/08 against Pastor Manjeri. She is expected to be summoned again at an unspecified date as investigations into the beating of teenage girl proceed.” As the Police proceed with the case, children rights activists have also been sucked in. Ms Barbara Babweteera, a lawyer with Fida, says the group has taken up the matter.
“While on the fact finding mission, social workers at Mulago informed us that they had approached many organisations but nothing had come through,” Ms Babweteera says.
According to Ms Babweteera, Fida intends to use the name and shame strategy to expose Muhindo’s tormentors, besides instituting a court process to bring them to book. “We intend to effect arrest through the office of the Inspector General of Police. We call for any assistance for Peace through human rights activists,” she appealed.
But as these appeals are made and the Police continue with investigations, Muhindo lies in the hospital bed, in pain, hoping that justice can be done.

PEACE Muhindo is helpless and paralysed on the left side thanks to a spinal cord injury. She writhes in pain on her Ward 2B bed at Mulago Hospital where she was dumped and has been admitted since June 26.
The 15-year-old former street child was only helped when FIDA, an association of women lawyers came to her rescue earlier this month and took over her medical bills.
FIDA lawyer Barbra Bawetera said her organisation was tipped by a Good Samaritan. Now the Police are investigating Pastor Irene Manjeri Nalongo whom the girl accused of assault.
However, two months after the incident, the Police are yet to make any arrests.
The head of the professional standards unit, John Ndungutse, said detectives were investigating the way the case has been handled.
The pastor, according to Muhindo, instructed her guards to beat her up so as to “cast out demons” from her.
Manjeri is the founder of Bethel Healing Centre Ministries, which owns a string of churches and orphanages. She is a senior pastor at the church located in Kitovu, Kanjjansi, off Kampala-Entebbe highway. She runs a branch at the former Pride Theatre on Namirembe Road.
Muhindo had lived in Manjeri’s Bethel Orphanage where she had been admitted since 2005.
The girl said after the beating, she was dumped at Butabika Mental Hospital on October 17, 2007, where she lived for nine months.
Muhindo told the Police she was forcefully taken to the hospital on Manjeri’s orders.
In support of this, Butabika’s senior medical social worker, Justus Twesigye, said Muhindo has never been mentally unstable.
“Instead, she was physically abused and dumped in Butabika.”
The Police, he said, insisted that Muhindo must be admitted. “We assessed her and found she was not mentally sick.”
In a reaction, Manjeri told Bukedde, a New Vision sister paper and leading Luganda daily, that Muhindo fought with two other children in 2007 and got “severely injured”.
After treatment, Manjeri added, Muhindo was taken to Butabika when she showed signs of “mental instability”.
She said Muhindo’s father, Simon Kisembo, a Police officer, lives in Nsambya Barracks.
Muhindo, Manjeri said, sneaked back to the orphanage but later “disappeared”.
The pastor said nothing about the assault.
However, a Mulago medical social worker, John Baptist Ebaat, said when Manjeri discovered that Muhindo was back in the orphanage, she ordered the guard to beat her up.
“The guard beat her until she was unconscious.”
She was taken to Katwe Police Station, which referred her to Mulago.
Katwe district Police commander Aggrey Nshekanabo yesterday said the girl went to the station to look for her father but the officers failed to find him.
Muhindo, he said, went away but later in the day, came back “claiming she had been beaten”.
Manjeri’s husband Dr. Vincent Katongole admitted his wife had talked to him about the girl but placed the responsibility on the guard and his employer.
“The lawyers of the security company where the guard comes from are handling the case,” he said.
“The guard was employed by a private security firm and they take responsibility.”
Mulago spokesman Elifaz Sekabira said although Muhindo was “completely paralysed”, she had received death threats.
The hospital, he added, had consequently asked for Police protection.

Pastor Bugembe should learn from Pastor George Okudi
I’m so worried about Pastor Wilson Bugembe’s being surrounded with secular musicians. There is nothing wrong with associating with secular musicians but is he ready to confront them with the truth of the gospel of Christ. It is reported that at his recent launch people from various religious walks of life attended the launch, but when one person attempted to confront them with the gospel, there was commotion. I hear there was beer and that kind of stuff.
I understand last year he sung during Father Musaala’s( the dancing catholic priest) launch. But, the association with father Musaala means that you believe that charismatic Catholics are saved Christians, yet truth is that you cant get born again and remain in the catholic church. I’m proof of this. Pastor Bugembe should remember that it is not the milk that spoils the salt. It is the salt that spoils the milk. A tiny crystal of salt can spoil a drum of milk.

I was shocked to hear Pastor Kiganda a Man I respected for some time say that when Jesus said that he had come to preach the GOOD NEWS to the poor he meant lifting the poor from poverty to riches. Can you imagine how drunk these pastors have gotten!!
Pastor Kiganda said that Concern with sin was a secondary issue to JESUS. He does not seem to know what the name Jesus Means ( Mathew 1:21). Pastor Kiganda reminds me of Keneth Copeland’s view that when Jesus said that he had come to preach the acceptable year of the lord, He meant Debt relief . I was shocked.

THE WRATH OF GOD IS UPON PASTOR SENYONGA
I and Bro. Kato Mivule( www.yesumulungi.com) have been warning pastors in Uganda about the impeding wrath of God on all prosperity preachers. Many Born agains in Uganda have been calling us lunatics, however all our warnings are slowly coming to pass. I grieve because of the rebellion of prosperity pastors in Uganda like Jackson Senyonga. Although I do not personally believe the molestation charges against him, I believe that the lord’s hand is against him and the Lord has put him in the hands of his enemies because of rebellion.
Pastor Senyonga is guilty of trapping the saints of the lord into the Gospel of materialism, political christianity and is fornicating with American apostates. The lord has given him a chance to preach the true gospel but he has wasted time sleeping with mammon. His TV is full of lies and hypocrisy and is being used to spread the lies of prosperity. I send a stern warming to other prosperity pastors in Uganda like Joseph, Serwada, Robert Kayanja, Irene Manjeri, Imelda Namutebi Kula, Isaac Kyobe Kiwewesi, etc. Please, repent and separate from the prosperity gospel of antichrist before it is too, late. Judgments are just beginning. If you do not repent and turn away from greed and mammon worship, more is to come.

The piece below by an unbeliver I suppose, exposes( the facts might not be 100%accurate) how Pastor Senyonga on many occasiona failed to pay his workers some of whom went away cursing. Many other Pastors in Uganda continue to cheat people this way. Isaiah 33:1, says after robbing, you will be robbed. All pastors who are cheating God's people should repent and pay back. KAMPALA - As the child molestation scandal involving Kampala Pastor Jackson Ssenyonga, who is alleged to have committed the crime during a flight last Wednesday, continues to unfold, the general feeling among members of his Bwaise-based Christian Life Church (CLC) is that the man of God is beginning to be haunted by curses former workers have been directing against him over the years. A big-name Pastor--with a congregation of about 100,000 believers--Senyonga employs over 300 people in his different companies and projects. He is being embroiled in such a sex scandal for the first time in the 24 years of his ministry.
Living in America since February this year, Senyonga is currently being investigated by the FBI on allegations that he fondled a 13 year old girl who sat next to him during a flight from Denver to Oakland in the US on the night of Wednesday August 20. The incident took place at 11 pm and forced the inconvenienced girl to call in-flight marshals, who helped her to another seat. “She was only scared to be in company of two black old men for the first time in her life time. That is why she was very scared,” Ssenyonga says in a recorded response his aides, led by Ronald Mubiru, availed on Saturday morning.
THE CURSES
A Christian who has flocked with Ssenyonga’s Bwaise-based CLC church for the past 10 years said: “We shall defend him to the last drop of our saliva. Pastor Jackson isn’t the type of man to do such a thing to a kid of all people! But what we won’t defend him about, as the CLC congregation, is the fact that the curses by ex-workers have started to work on him. Because he is always away, managers in his numerous companies have been mistreating workers and sacking them unfairly.”
DETAILS
Towards December last year, for instance, over 24 workers at his now-defunct Guardian Newspaper asked to meet him (Ssenyonga) after they had gone unpaid for six months. He had just jetted into the country to prepare the National Celebrations Prayer rally which took place on December 31 at Kololo Airstrip with President Yoweri Museveni and First lady Janet Museveni in attendance. They went into Christmas empty handed after Ssenyonga snubbed them at the last minute, referring them to General Manager Maggie Serunjogi, against whom they wanted to complain to the Pastor. Maggie refused to meet them. Frustrated, they plotted to burn the building housing Top Radio, Top TV, Kampala FM (99.6FM) and church offices. But security was beefed up, making it hard for them to carry out their mischief. They also tried to connive with technicians, who were equally disgruntled, to destroy the Top TV masts at Kololo.
Unable to imagine going into Christmas without any money, the frustrated workers contacted a witchdoctor who advised them to buy a goat with which a ritual was performed in a small bush between the Northern By-pass and Senyonga’s CLC Church premises. Though he panicked and began paying, Church officials claimed, things have never been the same for Ssenyonga’s projects. The best sales executives, DJs, news anchors and presenters have since quit for greener pastures in consultancy firms, Vision Voice, Radio Simba and WBS TV among others.
As for The Guardian Newspaper, all staff walked out, leading to its closure. Only accountant Arnold Bukenya and a photographer (whose name we couldn’t readily establish) stayed behind to work with Top TV. “The common factor is that all people who have left have gone cursing after accumulating arrears stretching four months, 6 months and even two years,” said a Church official. “It’s a pity some are homeless as we talk now having had to suffer the embarrassment of being evicted from their rented houses and at worst some have died due to destitution and inability to afford medical bills as was the case for Mr. James Namunga who died [with arrears of Shs 0.6m] two months ago.” Poor Namunga who was buried in Masaka, had worked with Top TV and died of kidney failure at Nakaseke Hospital where he found free treatment. Management only contributed Shs100,000 towards burial arrangements. But Namunga isn’t alone; there are many others whose cases are equally disturbing.
INDIVIDUAL CASES
To understand what has exactly been happening--leaving staff members no option but curse the pastor--we take you through names of different people who have left cursing after the pastor failed to pay them their dime, after contributing to the profitability of his companies for many years.
ONE MUSISI
Previously, Musisi worked for him (1988-1999). He was the pioneer Top Radio station manager and gave his all.
Information reaching us, however, indicates Ssenyonga treated this man with a lot of contempt. In an effort to illustrate Ssenyonga’s bossy and rude way of treating workers, a long serving Church official recalled how Musisi would be made to open the toilet for Senyonga and carry his briefcase as if he was his driver. “He has this habit of instilling a lot of fear in workers that you can’t ever go to his office to see him. For all his commitment and hard work, Musisi left cursing in 1999.
He left with arrears for 2 years and has never been paid. "Where can peace come from?” wondered a Ssenyonga confidant who has been with CLC since its inception.
JAMES TENWA
For three years he was a news anchor on Top radio until he left with 6 months salary arrears. Today he is a leading news anchor on Radio Simba where he went after quarreling with General Manager Maggie Serunjogi. When Senyonga asked about Tenywa’s departure, the GM deceptively told him the young man wanted a salary increment and when it wasn’t as much as he needed, he left the station.
EMILY MWEBAZE
She was the only English news anchor on Top TV before she acrimoniously left for greener pastures on WBS TV over a year ago. She has gone on to become a celebrity news anchor on WBS TV. She is doing so well that she has even since given up on chasing the several months’ salary arrears she had with Senyonga’s Top TV.
KYUMA KYA YESU
He is a cameraman and reporter who was behind most of the work on Top TV where he served for over two years. After months of persevering, he left for WBS TV where a very impressed Wavamunno has since appointed him the cameraman for the very popular Side Mirror, a comically twisted skit which features Amalura family crew members every week. His colleague, Moses Mugenyi, a senior sales executive at Top radio for 5 years, also left with 4 months salary arrears and now works with WBS TV.
ROBERT OLWENYI
He served as senior reporter on Top Radio for over five years until three months ago when he called it quits, after waiting for his salary in vain for many months. Today he works at Vision Voice Radio where he is rated the very best of his kind.
KIKONYOGO ENGARTIA
He was Editor In Chief for Senyonga’s on-and-off The Guardian newspaper for a whole year. He left unceremoniously after reporters threatened to beat him up for failing to push Maggie for their salaries. He left with salary arrears of 3 months. “He had his own problems is that when one of the adverts was messed up but that doesn’t justify management’s failure to properly pay such a family man. He left cursing and that institution [CLC] can obviously never have peace,” said a Church official. “The companies make profit and the man [Ssenyonga] is financially doing well but the problem he fills management with friends and relatives who become untouchable yet they misinform him on the situation.” Veteran journalist (now lecturer at UCU), Sam Hadido, served in this post before Kikonyogo came in. He too left grumbling after the Pastor refused to listen to his salary claims, stretching several months.
PHILIP CORY
Being a freelance sports writer at the State-owned New Vision, he thought he would moonlight with Senyonga’s Guardian newspaper and make ends meet. Life instead only became hard. He was chief news editor but went unpaid for many months, till he chased himself in frustration. He is said to be working with his lawyers to drag the Pastor to court for non payment of his salary arrears.
DHAKABA MENYA
He was lured to leave his lucrative job (of sports editor) at the Rwandan state-owned New Times. Today she works when she feels like,” said a Church official. “One wonders why reporters can’t get facilitation to go to look for news, yet Mirinda Pineaple sponsors the programme.” To emphasize the GM’s draconian tendencies, another source recalled a recent incident.
“She found a Top Radio/TV reporter talking to her visitors at the reception and chopped her salary by Shs30, 000 saying she was lazy. On another occasion, a camera man had left the camera at the reception to go for a short call and she cut the salary by Shs30, 000 because he was negligent,” the source explained. “You can imagine the pain. If you depend on Shs200,000 for facilitation and everything else and yet someone is going to keep fining you, what do you have at the end of the month really? Those are the curses everybody is reflecting about against our otherwise very good Pastor.”
“Alive Media, which owns all his radios and TV stations, is a very profitable company because of the upper hand it has amongst Christian audiences but workers, who contribute to this success, are always ignored and left to go cursing. These are very poor young people and because they can’t afford to go to court, they appeal to the very Bible verses to curse him,” said another source. “Even something worse could have happened but they forgive because all of them are born again Christians." It’s a pre-condition to get a job in Alive Media and sister companies which also include a Tour & Travel Agency which has over 100 Coasters Buses.

KAMPALA - As the child molestation scandal involving Kampala Pastor Jackson Ssenyonga, who is alleged to have committed the crime during a flight last Wednesday, continues to unfold, the general feeling among members of his Bwaise-based Christian Life Church (CLC) is that the man of God is beginning to be haunted by curses former workers have been directing against him over the years. A big-name Pastor--with a congregation of about 100,000 believers--Senyonga employs over 300 people in his different companies and projects. He is being embroiled in such a sex scandal for the first time in the 24 years of his ministry.
Living in America since February this year, Senyonga is currently being investigated by the FBI on allegations that he fondled a 13 year old girl who sat next to him during a flight from Denver to Oakland in the US on the night of Wednesday August 20. The incident took place at 11 pm and forced the inconvenienced girl to call in-flight marshals, who helped her to another seat. “She was only scared to be in company of two black old men for the first time in her life time. That is why she was very scared,” Ssenyonga says in a recorded response his aides, led by Ronald Mubiru, availed on Saturday morning.

A Christian who has flocked with Ssenyonga’s Bwaise-based CLC church for the past 10 years said: “We shall defend him to the last drop of our saliva. Pastor Jackson isn’t the type of man to do such a thing to a kid of all people! But what we won’t defend him about, as the CLC congregation, is the fact that the curses by ex-workers have started to work on him. Because he is always away, managers in his numerous companies have been mistreating workers and sacking them unfairly.”
DETAILS
Towards December last year, for instance, over 24 workers at his now-defunct Guardian Newspaper asked to meet him (Ssenyonga) after they had gone unpaid for six months. He had just jetted into the country to prepare the National Celebrations Prayer rally which took place on December 31 at Kololo Airstrip with President Yoweri Museveni and First lady Janet Museveni in attendance. They went into Christmas empty handed after Ssenyonga snubbed them at the last minute, referring them to General Manager Maggie Serunjogi, against whom they wanted to complain to the Pastor. Maggie refused to meet them. Frustrated, they plotted to burn the building housing Top Radio, Top TV, Kampala FM (99.6FM) and church offices. But security was beefed up, making it hard for them to carry out their mischief. They also tried to connive with technicians, who were equally disgruntled, to destroy the Top TV masts at Kololo.
Unable to imagine going into Christmas without any money, the frustrated workers contacted a witchdoctor who advised them to buy a goat with which a ritual was performed in a small bush between the Northern By-pass and Senyonga’s CLC Church premises. Though he panicked and began paying, Church officials claimed, things have never been the same for Ssenyonga’s projects. The best sales executives, DJs, news anchors and presenters have since quit for greener pastures in consultancy firms, Vision Voice, Radio Simba and WBS TV among others.
As for The Guardian Newspaper, all staff walked out, leading to its closure. Only accountant Arnold Bukenya and a photographer (whose name we couldn’t readily establish) stayed behind to work with Top TV. “The common factor is that all people who have left have gone cursing after accumulating arrears stretching four months, 6 months and even two years,” said a Church official. “It’s a pity some are homeless as we talk now having had to suffer the embarrassment of being evicted from their rented houses and at worst some have died due to destitution and inability to afford medical bills as was the case for Mr. James Namunga who died [with arrears of Shs 0.6m] two months ago.” Poor Namunga who was buried in Masaka, had worked with Top TV and died of kidney failure at Nakaseke Hospital where he found free treatment. Management only contributed Shs100,000 towards burial arrangements. But Namunga isn’t alone; there are many others whose cases are equally disturbing.
INDIVIDUAL CASES
To understand what has exactly been happening--leaving staff members no option but curse the pastor--we take you through names of different people who have left cursing after the pastor failed to pay them their dime, after contributing to the profitability of his companies for many years.
ONE MUSISI
Previously, Musisi worked for him (1988-1999). He was the pioneer Top Radio station manager and gave his all.
Information reaching us, however, indicates Ssenyonga treated this man with a lot of contempt. In an effort to illustrate Ssenyonga’s bossy and rude way of treating workers, a long serving Church official recalled how Musisi would be made to open the toilet for Senyonga and carry his briefcase as if he was his driver. “He has this habit of instilling a lot of fear in workers that you can’t ever go to his office to see him. For all his commitment and hard work, Musisi left cursing in 1999.
He left with arrears for 2 years and has never been paid. "Where can peace come from?” wondered a Ssenyonga confidant who has been with CLC since its inception.
JAMES TENWA
For three years he was a news anchor on Top radio until he left with 6 months salary arrears. Today he is a leading news anchor on Radio Simba where he went after quarreling with General Manager Maggie Serunjogi. When Senyonga asked about Tenywa’s departure, the GM deceptively told him the young man wanted a salary increment and when it wasn’t as much as he needed, he left the station.
EMILY MWEBAZE
She was the only English news anchor on Top TV before she acrimoniously left for greener pastures on WBS TV over a year ago. She has gone on to become a celebrity news anchor on WBS TV. She is doing so well that she has even since given up on chasing the several months’ salary arrears she had with Senyonga’s Top TV.
KYUMA KYA YESU
He is a cameraman and reporter who was behind most of the work on Top TV where he served for over two years. After months of persevering, he left for WBS TV where a very impressed Wavamunno has since appointed him the cameraman for the very popular Side Mirror, a comically twisted skit which features Amalura family crew members every week. His colleague, Moses Mugenyi, a senior sales executive at Top radio for 5 years, also left with 4 months salary arrears and now works with WBS TV.
ROBERT OLWENYI
He served as senior reporter on Top Radio for over five years until three months ago when he called it quits, after waiting for his salary in vain for many months. Today he works at Vision Voice Radio where he is rated the very best of his kind.
KIKONYOGO ENGARTIA
He was Editor In Chief for Senyonga’s on-and-off The Guardian newspaper for a whole year. He left unceremoniously after reporters threatened to beat him up for failing to push Maggie for their salaries. He left with salary arrears of 3 months. “He had his own problems is that when one of the adverts was messed up but that doesn’t justify management’s failure to properly pay such a family man. He left cursing and that institution [CLC] can obviously never have peace,” said a Church official. “The companies make profit and the man [Ssenyonga] is financially doing well but the problem he fills management with friends and relatives who become untouchable yet they misinform him on the situation.” Veteran journalist (now lecturer at UCU), Sam Hadido, served in this post before Kikonyogo came in. He too left grumbling after the Pastor refused to listen to his salary claims, stretching several months.

Being a freelance sports writer at the State-owned New Vision, he thought he would moonlight with Senyonga’s Guardian newspaper and make ends meet. Life instead only became hard. God is a God of Prosperity(III John 2), but the prosperity Gospel can never be the centre and focus of the Gospel.We are supposed to seek first the kingdom of God and all the other things will be added on to us(Matthew 6:33).The prosperity gospel is a periphery issue that saints should treat as dung just like Apostle Paul(Philippians 3). Prosperity preachers say poverty is a curse, but I would like to pose a question, the poor Lazarus and the stinking rich man in Luke 16, who of the two was under a curse? who of the to went to hell? The RICH MAN of course. You see how deceptive the prosperity greed gospel is.

Genesis Chapter 4 reveals how God required sacrifices from Abel and Cain. Where as Abel sacrificed an animal to the Lord, the rebellious Cain sacrificed the fruit of the Ground to the lord . What is the problem here? Remember in Genesis chapter 3 God cursed the ground. By sacrificing the fruit of the ground, the arrogant Cain is ridiculing God almighty that ‘’Lord you cursed the ground but I have got something out of it anyway’’. If you are truly born again, this is very easy to see, but the SIN OF GREED lures us to lust after the world and the things in the world like money, fame and prestige.

A reading of the summon on the mount in Mathew 5-7, reveals the true gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. He for example cautions us not to build treasures on earth. As you listen to these prosperity parrots , you ask your self a question. Could the Lord Jesus Christ, have preached such a gospel, did Apostles Paul, Peter, John etc preach such a gospel. The answer is surely NO.
I pray that the lord opens your eyes to the satanic and Cainic nature of the prosperity gospel. This prosperity dung from hell is so deceptive that unless you love the truth, you can never discover the antichrist spirit behind it. Let us separate and stand against this gospel. Genesis Chapter 4 reveals how God required sacrifices from Abel and Cain. Where as Abel sacrificed an animal to the Lord, the rebellious Cain sacrificed the fruit of the Ground to the lord . What is the problem here? Remember in Genesis chapter 3 God cursed the ground. By sacrificing the fruit of the ground, the arrogant Cain is ridiculing God almighty that ‘’Lord you cursed the ground but I have got something out of it anyway’’. This is a subtle way of spiting in the face of God. This is arrogance of the highest order.

Like Cain the modern prosperity apostate church is spiting in the face of God. If you love Jesus, who is the word according to John 1, it is very easy to SEE this DECEPTION. Let me give an example: In Collosians 3: 1-2, God commands us to focus on the things above(purity, holiness, perfection, righteousness etc), but the prosperity preachers are telling the goats to focus DOWN(LAND , MANSIONS, JETS, MONEY, SUVs etc).
THE LORD IS SAYING UP , THE MAMMON PREACHERS ARE SAYING DOWN. How rebellious!!!, How arrogant!!

Let me give another example, the lord commands us to:
(15) Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
(16) For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
(17) And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
(18) Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.(1 John 2:15-18)
IN JAMES 4:4 THE LORD REBUKES PROSPERITY PREACHERS AS FOLLOWS:
(4) Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
(5) Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?(James 4:4-5)
Now you see, the rebellious Cainic spirit. The Lord says Love not the world, the prosperity preachers are telling the goats to LOVE the world . How arrogant and rebellious!!!
If you are truly born again, this is very easy to see, but the SIN OF GREED lures us to lust after the world and the things in the world like money, fame and prestige.
1 Timothy 6:3-10
(3) If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
(4) He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
(5) Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
(6) But godliness with contentment is great gain.
(7) For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
(8) And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
(9) But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
(10) For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
A reading of the summon on the mount in Mathew 5-7, reveals the true gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. He for example cautions us not to build treasures on earth. As you listen to these prosperity parrots , you ask your self a question. Could the Lord Jesus Christ, have preached such a gospel, did Apostles Paul, Peter, John etc preach such a gospel. The answer is surely NO.
I pray that the lord opens your eyes to the satanic and Cainic nature of the prosperity gospel. This prosperity dung from hell is so deceptive that unless you love the truth, you can never discover the antichrist spirit behind it. Let us separate and stand against this gospel. Start campaign blogs, cautions your neighbors and pray for whoever is trapped in this gospel.
Dear saints the signs of the time are very clear . The return of our Lord is eminent .He will come as a thief in the night. The Babylonian signs are very easy to SEE. Separate from the prosperity mammon gospel now. Flee now.
