Bishop David Livingstone Kiganda
Kiganda v Nasejje
Bishop David Kiganda who recently married a wife from Zimbabwe
after divorcing his former wife has been parading the argument that his action
is right because divorce is permitted in Mathew 19:9 according to him. He bases his
defense on the problematic Luganda Anglican version of the bible which is
similar to the NIV: The counterfeit NIV says in Matthew 19:9 that:
I tell you that anyone who divorces his
wife, except for sexual immorality, and
marries another woman commits adultery.”
And its
problematic sister Luganda bible says:
Era mbagamba
nti Buli anaagobanga mukazi we, wabula okumulanga ogw'obwenzi, n'awasa omulala, ng'ayenze: n'oyo
awasa eyagobebwa ng'ayenze.(Luganda bible)
Other
counterfeit translations translate Mathew 19:9 as follows:
And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife,
except for immorality, and marries another woman
commits adultery.” (New American Standard Bible (NASB))
8-9 Jesus
said, “Moses provided for divorce as a concession to your hard heartedness, but
it is not part of God’s original plan. I’m holding you to the original plan,
and holding you liable for adultery if you divorce your faithful wife and then
marry someone else. I make an exception in cases where
the spouse has committed adultery.” (The Message (MSG))
9 `And I say to
you, that, whoever may put away his wife, if not for whoredom, and may marry another, doth commit adultery; and he
who did marry her that hath been put away, doth commit adultery.' (Young's
Literal Translation (YLT))
The indomitable King James
Version translates Mathew 19:9 as follows:
Matthew
19:9 - And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife,
except [it be] for fornication, and shall
marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away
doth commit adultery.
Before I show you why KJV translators used the word
fornication, let me prove to you that the above bible translations are of the
devil, because they tell lies, yet we know that God is not a liar , it is the
devil who is called the father of lies (John 8:44). For example the KJV
translates Mark 1:1-2 as follows:
The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
Now verse two is found in Malachi 3:1 and verse 3 is found is Isaiah 40:3 , so, that is why KJV translators translated it as ; it is written in the prophets. Which prophets?? Of course, Isaiah and Malachi. The verse ‘’ Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee’’ is not found anywhere in the book of Isaiah.
Now, let us see how Bishop David Kiganda’s counterfeit bible versions tell lies when it comes to translating Mark 1:1-2:
The beginning of the good news
about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God, 2 as
it is written in Isaiah the prophet:
“I will send my messenger ahead of you,
who will prepare your way”—
3 “a voice of one calling in the wilderness,
‘Prepare the way for the Lord,
make straight paths for him.’” (New International Version (NIV))
who will prepare your way”—
3 “a voice of one calling in the wilderness,
‘Prepare the way for the Lord,
make straight paths for him.’” (New International Version (NIV))

exposed.
Attack on the
bible
Therefore, we can not trust these bibles when it comes to authoritatively
teaching about divorce.
In May this year Pastor
Solomon Male challenged Bishop David Kiganda’s reliance on counterfeit bible
versions to defend his divorce . The wise Pastor Solomon Male quoted from the
King James bible.
Read: The day Pastor Solomon Male biblically Challenged Bishop David Kiganda Divorce & Remarriage
Pastor Male Rightly argues that Mathew 19:9 allows a man to
divorce his wife in case of fornication. According to the Jewish culture chastity
and virginity for that matter was a highly esteemed virtue. Therefore a Jewish
man could divorce his wife in case he discovered that she was not a virgin or
in case the woman fornicated before marriage.
24 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. 2 And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife. 3 And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife; 4 Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the Lord: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance. (Deuteronomy 24)
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 1)
Bishop Michael Kyazze wedded Pastors David and Cindy Kiganda at his Omega healing centre: He has preached on the view that the bible allows divorce on Pastor Kiganda's Kingdom fm radio
Pastor Male never said in his
letter that a gentile Christian should divorce his wife in case he found her
not a virgin
Bishop Kiganda has said on his radio that Pastor male has
come up with a new teaching that allows male Christians to divorce their wives
in case the they discover that they are not virgins. Pastor male did not apply
this scripture to gentile Christians. Pastor Male’s letter has no such thing. Pastor
Male has categorically stated that the bible preaches forgiveness and reconciliation as far as
Christians are concerned. Dear Bishop David Kiganda you should apologies to
Pastor Solomon Male for misunderstanding his letter.
There is no way Mattew 19:9
can apply to you Pastor Kiganda unless you want to declare your self a Pharisee
pastor
In Matthew 19:19 Jesus was addressing him self to Pharisees
with hard rebellious hearts. It is a shame for a born again Christian to
associate himself or herself with rebellious hard hearted Pharisees. Remember
the Pharisees operated under the old covenant. There is no way a new testament Christian,
who was washed by the blood of Jesus can associate with such a Pharisee attitude.
God hates divorce and there is no verse in the bible whatsoever that allows a
born again Christian to divorce his wife. There is averse that allows Pharisees
or biological Jews to
divorce in case their wives committed fornication before marriage. There is
also a verse in counterfeit bible translations such as the NIV and the Luganda
bible that allows Pharisees and biological Jews to divorce in case of sexual immorality or adultery or
whoredom-whatever that means!!
Falling into the same error
of supporting tithing for born again Christians using Matthew 23:23
In Mathew 23 the Lord Jesus Christ calls Pharisees
hypocrites and serpents. In Matthew 23: 23 the Lord supports the tithing of the
Pharisees but rebuked them for neglecting justice , mercy and faith. Now,
prosperity pastors such as Bishop David Kiganda have used this verse to argue
that Jesus approved tithing for born again Christians. Tithing was part and
parcel of the law and hence the old covenant and hence the Pharisees were right to keep that. In the new
testament tithing does not make sense simply because we are not under the law
anymore. That is why the apostles never tithed and never quoted Malachi 3:8 to intimidate
Christians that they are under the curse for not tithing. So, Bishop David
Kiganda, one of your major problems is understanding the context of scripture. That
is why you support divorce and tithing.

Bishop Kiganda’s bible has so
many errors and hence can not be trusted
One of the of the major weaknesses
of the Pentecostal prosperity movement in Uganda is the love and trust in
emotions instead of God’s word. Last Sunday a Pentecostal pastor was reading from
Jeremiah 1, a verse where Jeremiah told God that I’m
only a child but according to this pastor’s
New Literally Translation bible, Jeremiah said I’m
a youth. The pastor’s interpreter was reading a bible where Jeremiah
said I’m a child , while the pastor read ,I’m a youth. It is surprising that
this ‘spirit filled’ pastor can not see that youth and child are not the same. That
is why the devil looks at ignorance of the word in the Pentecostal movement and
he laughs. How can you talk of revival when pastors are not aware that they are
drinking from bibles contaminated by the
devil.
For example the Luganda bible
:

How about Matthew 5:27-28 Bishop David Kiganda
Bishop Kiganda attacks the King James Bible
Pastor Robert Kayanja’s emotional
miracle moments and emotional revival:
How can you talk of revival when Christians can not even
differentiate a genuine from a
counterfeit bible translation??
How about Matthew 5:27-28 Bishop David Kiganda
I remember one time I foolishly supported a certain
church elder’s divorce and re-marriage. Fortunately, the church elder came back to his senses and
went back to his wife before divorcing and re-marrying. After this incident I started reflecting seriously on Matthew
5:27-28. When it comes to adultery, which we men take as ground for divorce because
of reading counterfeit bible versions,
we usually think about it in terms of the physical i.e. having physical sexual
intercourse with a man. However, adultery is also an issue of the heart
according to Matthew 5:27-28. If adultery is an issue of the heart how many times
have married men cheated on their wives. Dear Pastor Kiganda, how many times
did you cheat on your wife in the heart when you were still a young Christian or
even a mature Christian. According to the word of God, the one who cheats
physically and the one who cheats ‘spiritually’ or metaphysically are all
adulterers. If men were to be honest, we
would never support the divorce of our
sisters who have been caught in physical adultery.
Bishop Kiganda thinks that the translation of the
KJV in Matthew 19:9 is a fake one. According to him before the KJV, the bible
was already there. He seems to think that the KJV is so recent to be trusted. He needs
to know that the year of translation is not important but rather the
manuscripts from which it is translated. The KJV is translated from the received
text and the mosoretic text. It is no doubt the best English translation. It
is the best because it is had best translators, superior text and superior
method of translation. We need a Luganda bible based on the mosoretic and
received text, other wise, the Anglican Luganda bible that is being used by born again Christians in
Uganda
has so many problems as shown above. Many born Christian are using bibles from
the sinaticus and vaticanus catholic manuscripts as well as the Hort and
westcort Alexandrian texts.

The word fornication in Matthew
19:9 makes no sense : oh really!!!
According to Bishop David
Kiganda, the word ‘fornication’ in Matthew
19:9 makes no sense to married people because it talks about people who are not yet
husband and wife. Of course it seems not to make sense because this scripture
has nothing to do with gentile Christians although we think we can force it to
apply to Christians by reading from counterfeit bible versions. It has to do
with Jews under the mosaic law and not Christians of the new testament. Please!!!
Please mind the context of scripture.
You have Opened the Pandora box
Dear Bishop David Kiganda, you
have opened the pandora box because some Christians are going to emulate what
you have done. How will you tell Christians in your church to forgive or reconcile
when you your self did not live up to this example? Do not be surprised when
even women use the same verse to divorce their husbands. Do you know that some
pastors, elders and born again Christians in Uganda have already fathered children
out of wedlock? What will you do if these women who have been so patient with
their adulterous husbands swing into action and decide to divorce by using your
so called Matthew 19:9 translation .
God bless you
