Pastor Peter Sematimba’s designer Jesus and Spiritual politics

15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17Even so every good tree bringeth fortit; but evil fruit. 18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. (Mathrew 7:15-19)

7Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, 8This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (Matthew 15:7-9)

5They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. (1 John 4:5)

14Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. (Matthew 15:4)

Uganda's Prosperity pastors never cease to amaze me. While appearing on the CHURCH TO CHURCH programme on WBS television on Sunday 1st March, 2009, Pastor Peter Sematimba was asked why he puts on ear rings. He said that there is no verse in the bible that is against putting on earrings. When asked why he advertises beer on his radio station, he said that the bible does not condemn beer, it rather condemns drunkenness. According to him a saved person can take a little beer. He confessed that he does it quietly some time because he does not want people to stumble.

When asked why he plays secular music on his SUPER FM radio station and advertises condoms , he argued that there is nothing wrong with that because the music that is played is love music and LOVE IS A GOOD GODLY THING. He told the presenter that he was ordained a pastor by pastor Robert Kayanja of Miracle centre cathedral. This LUBAGA MIRACLE CENTRE HAS BECOME A DEN OF SATAN. In June Pastor Robert Kayanja has invited Benny Hinn to come for a so called holy spirit outpouring. Every participant is supposed to pay 50US$. Doesn’t the bible say freely you have received freely give!!!!

CAN YOU IMAGINE PASTOR KAYANJA IS BRINGING BACK BENNY HINN IN JUNE 2009…

Reaction to Bishop Stephen Senfuma’s book

http://www.yesumulungi.com/index.php/apostasy-watch/272-pastor-ssenfuma-inner-man.html

At the beginning of the programme he said that he did not want to become a born again Christian because he had come realize that born again Christians were poor , beggars and lazy. He urged Christians to use the word of God to get prosperity. He bragged about how he uses the word of God to the lame walk, blind see. He contends that Jesus said that if we abide in him and his word is us, then we can ask for every thing we want.

13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Matthew 7)

Pastor Peter Sematimba amused us one time when he kissed the Ring of cardinal Emmanuel Wamala(head of the catholic church in Uganda). He wanted to win the mayoral race. The bible says you will see them by their fruits not by their SUITS.

Pastor Peter Sematimba is also an ardent supporter of the tithing heresy. He does not seem to know the difference between the old and new covenant.

The million dollar questions to Pastor Sematimba

Dear Pastor sematimba:

when you put on ear rings, are you conforming to the world or to Christ(Romans 12:1-2)???

Does the name Jesus mean savoir from sin(Matthew 1:21)or savoir from material poverty?

You are defending the secular music that is played on your FM station. Which spirit controls the music of the world? the spirit of God or the spirit of the Satan.

Are you Ashamed of Lazarus who went to heaven or the rich man who went to hell?

Do you know that Lazarus was spiritually rich but materially poor?

In 1 thes.5:22 scripture says that we should flee the appearance of evil(KJV), so by taking a little beer, are you coming closer to evil or fleeing from it. Remember even beer addicts start with one bottle or less.

1 John 2:15
15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Dear Pastor Peter Sematimba, have you ever questioned why God calls the church in Smyna poor but RICH and the Laodicean Rich but POOR . So, you see God is more interested in spiritual wealth than material wealth. Do you know the parable of the rich fool in Luke 12, this fool was materially rich but spiritually poor and definitely he ended up in hell.Check this:

8And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive; 9I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. 10Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.( Revelation 2:8-10)

14And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.( Revelation 3:14-18)

15And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. 16And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: 17And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? 18And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. 19And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. 20But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? 21So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. 22And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. 23The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. 24Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? 25And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? 26If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? 27Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 28If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? 29And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. 30For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. 31But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.(Luke 12:15-31)

Pastor Sematimba is similar to the rich young man in Matthew 19. This young man boasted about keeping the commandments, but like Pastor Sematimba he loved his money more than Jesus. In the first commandment God commands us to have no other gods but him alone. However, the youngman did not keep this commandment, he loved mammon more than God.Take a look:

16And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
18He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
19Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
20The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
21Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
22But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
23Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
24And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
25When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
26But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
27Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
28And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

Prosperity pastors like Peter Sematimba find the Jesus of the bible very offensive to them, so they have created their version of Jesus- a designer Jesus whose kingdom is of this world. They really hate the biblical Jesus who was a suffering servant and who tells his followers to carry their Cross and follow him.

The scriptures prosperity pastors like Peter Sematimba hate so much:

My kingdom is not of this world(John 18:36)

27Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. John 6:27

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.(Matthew 6:19-12)

1If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth(Colossians 3:1-2).

(15) Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
(16) For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
(17) And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
(18) Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.(1 John 2:15-18)

(4) Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
(5) Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?(James 4:4-5)

1 Timothy 6:3-10
(3) If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
(4) He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
(5) Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
(6) But godliness with contentment is great gain.
(7) For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
(8) And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
(9) But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
(10) For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

REPENT DEAR BROTHER

Dear Pastor Sematimba Repent and turn to the true Jesus of the bible. Learn from the life of Apostle Paul who lost all things for the sake of following Christ. Check out the Apostle’s words:

7But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, (Philippians 3)

21For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. (Philippians 1)

Although apostle Paul lost everything, he kept his faith and won the race. Imagine at the end of the day, he only had a cloke and books .He had got the real thing(eternal prosperity). AMEN, AMEN

7I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:.. 13The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments. (2 Timothy 4)

God bless you
