For a couple of weeks now, I have been listening
to Pastor Kiganda’s summons on Kingdom FM at 4:00 o’clock every morning .
During these summon Pastor Kiganda claims that he is waging war against poverty
because he believes that poverty sends more people to hell than wealth.
According to him where 10 people go hell because of wealth, 60 people will go
to hell because of poverty. He believes that Jesus’ primary mission was to
eradicate poverty and he quotes Luke 4:18 to defend his erroneous view. According
to Pastor Kiganda, when Jesus said, the spirit of the lord is upon me, because
he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, that gospel has to do
with getting the poor out of material poverty. Can you Imagine!!!
Pastor Kiganda’s wealth gospel is an attack on
the Lord Jesus Christ and the word of God. There is absolutely no scripture in
the new testament that says that it is difficult for a poor person to enter
heaven. There is absolutely no scripture in the new testament that says that
without money there is no gospel. Therefore pastor Kiganda’s gospel is simply a
figment of his own imaginations. This kind of gospel shows how apostate Uganda’s
prosperity gospel is.
Million Dollar Questions for Pastor Kiganda.
a)
Did Lucifer loose his place in heaven because of poverty(see, Isaiah 14 and
Ezekiel 28)?
b)
If poverty takes more people to hell than wealth, how did the poor Lazurus who
ate the crumbs from the rich man’s table end up in heaven??
c)
If poverty takes more people to hell than wealth, how comes St.Paul, St. Peter and even Jesus never preached about this. Are
you more annointed than them?
d) Non
of the Apostles of Jesus Christ died a wealth man, so, did they end up in
hell?
e)
Norway
has been ranked number one, as the best country to be according to the
human development index. How comes very few people care about God in Norway? How
comes you have more African coming to Christ as compared to wealth Norwegians.
