It is Friday May 18, 12.30p.m., and the gates at Mandela National Stadium Namboole are crowded by thousands pressing to get into the stadium. By 2p.m., the queues are stretching several metres along Bweyogerere - Kinawattaka road.
At the tiny entrances that allow only one person at a time through each rotating door, ushers are frantically jumping up and down onto the electronic plates that power the doors, to allow the now sweaty crowd in faster.

A mother clutching a toddler in one hand and carrying a newborn baby in the other stands away from the shoving crowd, contemplating how to access the 40,000-seater stadium.
Everyone seems okay with the risk of even being crushed to death in the melee, as long as they get to see renowned international gospel minister Benny Hinn.
The pastor brought business in Kampala to a standstill last weekend with a two-day crusade estimated to have pulled more than 150,000 people.
I finally make it onto the stadium grass at 2.56p.m., and the stands are already full for the crusade slated to start at 4.00p.m. An organiser appeals to the crowd to make room for the thousands still pressing to get in at the gates.
The close to 4,000-strong choir made up of different volunteer church choirs around the country is resplendent in blue and white and when they sing, it is hard to believe they were not imported with the sound system.
On the grass and plastic chairs reserved for card holders and the sick, a mentally ill man is occasionally running through the crowds, chewing ferociously on a wad of mairungi.
In another corner, a sick girl in blue is lying quietly on a makeshift bed on the grass and several people in wheelchairs wait patiently in the sun.
In the stands, the excited crowd starts their own entertainment, chanting “Hallelujah!” amidst thunderous clapping and alternated waving common with European football matches.
At 6.00p.m., Miracle Centre Cathedral Rubaga’s Pastor Robert Kayanja walks in with Kampala Pentecostal Church’s Pastor Gary Skinner and a host of other church ministers, including Anglican Church ministers.
They take the special seats on the dais, where praise and worship songs are now reverberating.
Hinn’s silver and grey chopper flies over the stadium to land at the back. After charged jumping and dancing to a rendition of Pastor George Okudi’s Wipolo, the choir tones it down to How Great Thou Art and as the crowd loses itself into the timeless classic, Pastor Benny Hinn walks to the podium at exactly 7p.m. and bows, wearing his trademark white suit.
It takes but a second for the stadium to recognise him, before the hymn is drowned out by deafening shouts and applause. The crusade – the first of his meetings to be telecast live around the world – has started.
The pastor, known for his healing ministry, asks for the Uganda National Anthem, before praying for the country and dedicating it to God.
“Jesus, this is your Uganda!” he declared. “It is a miracle that we are here. I have wanted to come to your country for a long time, but God has His timing.”
Some have criticised Hinn for his programme This Is Your Day on Lighthouse Television, claiming that he pushes the people he prays for and that the testimonies that characterise the 30-minute programme are stage-managed.
In the 4-hour service, however, Ugandans were treated to the dynamic preacher’s teachings punctuated with song, emphasising God’s healing power. He said Jesus heals all manner of diseases, including AIDS, as believers applauded.
At the end of the service, thousands of people who had come out of curiosity streamed to the front to proclaim salvation. As he prayed and commanded a healing, Hinn asked people with healed infirmities to line up on either side of the pulpit for testimony.
An 8-year-old boy paralysed at 3 by an injection gone wrong walked again after five years, as his ecstatic auntie jumped and knelt alternately on the pulpit.
The pale girl I had seen lying on a bed earlier walked onto the pulpit with her brother, saying her pain was gone. She had come with lungs that had liquid in them, which had rendered her bedridden for eight months.
A woman in her 30s who was deaf and dumb from birth came next, making unintelligible noises and crying as she absorbed her first sound: the deafening shouts from the amazed crowd. Another youthful man from Bweyogerere showed off a limb crushed and disfigured in an accident that had left him on crutches, as he ran around the pulpit in excitement.
What brought the crusade to an abrupt end, however, was 28-year-old Moses crippled from birth, who travelled from Lira to the crusade.
As the barefooted boy walked gingerly with the American preacher, the crowd went into a frenzy. When given a microphone to explain to the crowd what he had felt, Moses just said, “I want to be saved, man!”
An emotional Hinn said, “Do you know what I feel when a boy who has never walked ever, walks and asks to get saved? He is asking for the greatest miracle; salvation.”
Hinn asked Kayanja to enrol Moses in his Bible School and pledged to meet all expenses involved. Urging Ugandan pastors to preach the message of the cross in their churches, Hinn bid the crowd goodnight at 10.35p.m. and retired to the Kampala Serena Hotel where he stayed until the Saturday crusade, as thousands walked home.

Will heaven be this way?

As I jostled and shoved to get into Pastor Benny Hinn’s crusade at Mandela International Stadium Namboole last weekend, I wondered whether the fight to get through heaven’s gates will be anything like this! And as we squeezed through, I heard several other people wonder aloud about the same thing.
It made me even a tad terrified imagining that day, with an entrance so small and the devil’s gates so beckoningly wide! I decided to press on and get into that stadium, for a moment forgetting that this was just Namboole, far from eternity.
It is this same thought of heaven that drove me to Namboole in the first place. I had entertained thoughts of: “Why the hustle? I don’t want to die in that stampede when God can touch me anywhere, through anyone!”
But the Holy Spirit ministered to me about the need for aggression in the things of God. I started imagining, what if God sent Benny Hinn to Uganda for this special one person, only for God’s angels to get busy at Namboole ready to deliver this person’s parcel and find that s/he hadn’t come at all! Our Lord is a God of locations, do not be deceived.
I decided there and then that should that special person be me, I wanted to be in the right place at the right time.
By the way, when the Bible talks about the way to heaven being so narrow and the way to hell being wide and inviting, it is in the figurative sense. I don’t think we are going to have to squeeze through any paths and metal detectors the way we did at Namboole, rather the Bible is talking about the spiritual realm of things.
Walking the road of salvation and righteousness is not an easy thing; it is a bumpy ride.
It involves sacrifice, trials and tribulation as well as deliberate tests from God that can throw you off course and onto the broad way to hell. The way to hell is quite inviting because it allows you to compromise all the way. The easy life.
For example, you can religiously engrave it in your head that abortion is bad and ungodly, but at the same time fornicate without batting an eyelid and even justify it!
You can indulge in all the worldly pleasures and dig the Bible for two words that may justify what you are doing. That is how I understand these two roads. Few people will jump off the broad road to join the narrow path and walk it to the end. That is where the spiritual jostling comes in.
You abandon fornication and decide to abstain the rest of your single life, but when push comes to shove in the flesh matters, you jump back onto the broad road by fornicating “just one last time.”
Many of us keep switching roads this way throughout and it is only by God’s grace that the final day – the rupture – finds you on the narrow path and not cruising down the broad one!

Broadcast live to the world for the first time through streaming Internet and the GOD TV satellite network, the groundbreaking crusade, addressed by the nation’s First Lady, saw mighty miracles throughout the overflowing audience at the Nelson Mandela National Stadium. The impact continues to reverberate across Uganda, the African continent, and around the globe!
Uganda, located in the geographical heartland of Africa, is bordered by Kenya, Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, and Tanzania. The southern part of the country includes a substantial portion of Lake Victoria, within which it shares borders with Kenya and Tanzania.
With a population of over 28 million, the nation boasts an emerging market with an abundant supply of natural resources. The capital, Kampala, populated by approximately a million people, is far and away the largest city in Uganda.
Showcase to major sporting and entertainment events, Kampala’s Mandela National Stadium was transformed May 18–19, 2007, into a capacity-filled sanctuary of praise, worship, Gospel preaching, and mighty miracles.
Uganda’s First Lady Addresses Crowd
In addition to conducting a television interview with the gracious President Lt. Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and his wife, Janet, Pastor Benny Hinn welcomed the First Lady to one of the services. She was warmly and enthusiastically honored by the people throughout the stadium.
As she came to the platform at the beginning of the service, the crowd cheered with excitement. She greeted the people on behalf of her husband, the President, as well as welcoming Pastor Benny to Uganda.
She spoke briefly from her heart, sharing her own personal faith in Jesus Christ. Before leaving the platform she said, “Pastor Benny, you are welcome in Uganda. Please come back again and again!”
Historic Live Broadcast
History was made as Benny Hinn Ministries experienced one of its most exciting breakthroughs in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ! For the first time, a Holy Spirit Miracle Crusade was broadcast live to a worldwide audience through GOD TV and the Internet!
Viewers in the most remote areas of the world saw as the crusade choir of nearly 4,000 voices joined together to sing majestic harmonies. On more than one occasion Pastor Benny expressed his appreciation for their contribution to the crusade and said, “I’d love to take you with me! You’re wonderful!”
During the first service, Pastor Benny preached an inspirational message demonstrating from Scripture how Jesus healed all, wherever He went. He cited several passages where Jesus ministered to the sick and afflicted, taking time to heal all.
“He’s a healing Jesus!” Pastor Benny declared to the cheering capacity crowd, “It’s His nature to heal!”
During the second service, Pastor Benny brought a powerful message that focused on the work of the cross. He used Old Testament examples of how the children of Israel repented and brought healing and deliverance to their lives as they brought the cross back into their lives. In Egypt, for example, the children of Israel were instructed to anoint their doorposts with blood, and God promised, “When I see the blood I will pass over you.”
Miracles Abound
Multiplied thousands upon thousands of men, women, and children responded to Pastor Benny’s invitation to pray and receive Jesus Christ as Savior!
Multitudes responded as God began moving mightily among the audience, healing people throughout the stadium. Miracles from the two services included these:
• A lady who had been carried to the stadium on a mat by family members began to walk, leaving her mat behind. She walked across the platform with Pastor Benny, smiling and rejoicing at her ability to walk again. Her family watched in amazement.
• A woman from Kenya who fractured her legs in a mountain-climbing accident was healed.
• A young man whose leg had been crushed in a severe accident was previously unable to walk. As a healing anointing descended during the Friday evening service, the young man received strength in his leg and all the pain was gone. As Pastor Benny inquired about the young man’s injuries, the young man pulled his pant leg up to reveal a sizeable scar where the leg had been crushed. As he walked and stomped his foot, he repeated that he had no pain!
• An elderly man, relegated to a wheelchair for seven years as a result of prostate cancer and bedridden for one and half years, walked without problems to the cheers of the audience!
• A woman who had been unable to hear or speak came forward. With upraised hands and through tears of joy she responded to Pastor Benny. As the crowd rejoiced and the music played, she cupped her hands over her ear—she was able to hear! Her smiling face and tear-filled eyes reflected the joy she felt in her heart at what God had done for her.
• Another lady with a deaf ear began to hear. She wept as she repeated one phrase and then another after Pastor Benny.
• A young boy, paralyzed for eight years since the age of three, walked after he was healed!
• Many people came on crutches, with various difficulties, including arthritis and injured limbs. As they discarded their crutches and walked or ran across the platform, the crowd responded in resounding applause and praise to the Lord.
• A mother came to the platform holding a baby in her arms. She was visibly moved as she clutched her baby. Her baby had been born with meningitis and had been fed through a feeding tube since birth. However, during the first service the baby was completely healed, and since that time had been breastfeeding normally.
• A young woman came to the platform to testify of her healing from uterine cancer. She had flown from Toronto, Canada, because she was desperate for a miracle. She said all the pain was gone and she knew she had received her miracle!
• One woman who had suffered with a tumor on her side came to the platform to testify that her tumor had vanished.
The Moving Story of Moses
There were so many miracles during both services that most were unable to approach the stage to share what God had done.
One of the most amazing stories that was shared with everyone was the story of Moses. At the close of the first service, the young man named came to the platform. Pastor Benny noticed that Moses was wearing no shoes. He quickly learned that Moses had been crippled since birth.
The 28-year-old man, accompanied by his sister, came from the city of Lira in the far northern part of Uganda. He had entered the stadium in a wheelchair, but God moved mightily, and he took his first steps during the service!
As Pastor Benny began to talk to the young man and learn more about him, Moses said, “I want to be saved.” The expression on his face underscored his desire to know the Lord.
Pastor Benny led Moses and people throughout the audience in the sinner’s prayer. Following the prayer, Pastor Benny talked to Moses more before calling the host pastor to join them. Pastor Benny told the local pastor that he wanted to provide the funds to buy Moses some shoes and new clothing. He also asked if there was a Bible school anywhere in the area where Moses could learn more of God’s Word. The host pastor promptly told Pastor Benny that their church had an active Bible school where Moses could attend. Pastor Benny reiterated that he would pay for Moses to attend the Bible school.
In the second service, Pastor Benny asked if Moses was present in the service. After a few moments, Moses and his sister came to the platform, where they were welcomed by Pastor Benny and the cheers of the crowd. Moses was smiling from ear to ear as he stepped onto the platform wearing brand-new clothes and shoes.
After a few remarks, Pastor Benny turned to the host pastor and inquired, “When does Moses start attending Bible school?”
The pastor responded, “On Monday morning!”
Once again the crowd applauded and cheered as Pastor Benny and Moses stood face to face and Moses’ sister wept tears of joy at what God had done during the crusade.
A Mighty Work Throughout Africa
“What a powerful crusade!” Pastor Benny reported after the crusade concluded. “God is doing a mighty work throughout Africa. We have held crusades in nearby countries in the past few years, and now we have been blessed to hold this one among the precious people of Uganda. This has been a historic time. The President and First Lady have been so gracious. Many people have been requesting me to air the crusades live, so it was exciting to broadcast the services, as they were happening, to the rest of the world through GOD TV and the Internet. People here, hungry and open to the Gospel, are faced with great challenges. I am asking my partners and ministry friends to pray for the wonderful people of this country and continent, that God will touch an entire generation in a way never seen before!”

The subject of healing and being “slain in the spirit”, falling down during prayer sessions has attracted controversy over the years. At the recent Benny Hinn crusade where the lame walked and deaf heard for the first time, a number of people doubted whether such miracles could happen.

The “falling” of a pastor under the anointing raised eyebrows causing many to draw the wrong conclusions. “The miracles are stage managed,” the sceptics echoed. “Did you actually see the crippled walk from their wheel chairs, what kind of magic was that?” they wondered.
A majority of people believe that the age of miracles ended in the Biblical days, and so no one else can claim to perform miracles through Jesus. However, during the time Jesus walked on earth, the people of the day didn’t believe in miracles either. In the book of John chapter 9, Jesus healed a man who had been born blind in a manner that would raise eyebrows.
“He spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with clay…” he told the man to wash his eyes in a certain pool and his eyes were opened. His neighbours were astonished and no amount of convincing on his part that he was the man who had been born blind would settle their doubts.
The healing of this blind man caused such a fracas that he was brought before the Pharisees (the religious leaders of the day) to explain. Some said of Jesus, “How can such a man that is a sinner do such miracles?” The Pharisees demanded that they consult his parents about the validity of his “claims” of healing.
I was blind and now I see
The blind man who could now see wasn’t bothered about the mystery behind his miracle. All he said was, “…One thing I know is that I was blind and now I see.” When Jesus said that a dead girl whom he had been called upon to raise was sleeping, he was laughed at. But his scorners ate their words when he raised the girl from death.
At Hinn’s crusade, Moses the man from Lira who had been crippled all his life would explain better the frustration of living in a wheel chair with no hope. The man wasn’t even a Christian before he got his miracle. At the crusade, people couldn’t help but murmur awaiting, “miracle time,” to see if Hinn was going to pull the crippled legs and withered hands in order for them to get healed. There was no warning about the kind of miracles going to happen.
It is difficult to explain how miracles happen. “Take us stage by stage, did the man first limp, then fall down in a heap until he perfected his walking?” those who attended the crusade have been tasked to explain. There was no drama of witnessing a miracle in the making, like where an amputated arm grows back as all are watching.
Miracles are supernatural and it is God who can explain how they happen because he is the one who performs them. The truth though is that they happen mysteriously! You can’t determine how God works. He may sometimes reveal himself in the simplest of ways and at other times in a strong way.
“Falling down” like many would put it isn’t a new thing. Some of the prophets in the Bible like Ezekiel, John and Daniel were overwhelmed by an encounter with God. “…I fell on my face,” writes Ezekiel when explaining a vision he received. In the book of Revelations, John describes an encounter with the Lord, “…and when I saw him, I fell at his feet as if dead.”
“And I Daniel fainted,” Daniel describes an experience he had. Human beings can be overwhelmed by extraordinary events. When you stand in awe of someone mighty, you may not be able to maintain your composure and sometimes it may be in front of a crowd.
Seeing Jesus is unbelievable
When King David in the Bible was excited after a certain victory, he danced and removed his clothing, much to the annoyance of his wife. She rebuked him for behaving inappropriately. When you are excited about some thing, you can’t hold yourself back. Utterances of seeing Jesus in this age are considered unbelievable.
However, seeing Jesus in the Biblical days was okay, but today when the heavens to many seem closed to the affairs of man, it takes boldness for one to declare that they have seen him.
To some people, God sits in heaven with a big stick waiting to mete punishment when they do wrong. Nobody sees him or is supposed to see him, until the life to come. That is why to such people, a person who claims to have seen Jesus is either crazy or hallucinating.

RENOWNED pastors including Robert Kayanja were hit by a spiritual force which threw them down flat on the ground during international evangelist Pastor Benny Hinn’s crusade on Saturday.
The other pastors, who experienced the spiritual force before multitudes of Christians at Namboole Stadium, were Imelda Namutebi, Isaac Kiwewesi, John Michael Mugerwa and a pastor from West Africa.
The crusade was also attended by the First Lady, Janet Museveni, who asked Ugandans to pray without ceasing. The Police estimated the attendance at over 100,000 people, on each of the two days. The field and all the 42,000 seats in the pavilion were filled.
Kayanja fell twice in his seat as Hinn approached the row where the pastors were seated. Hinn called him forward and Kayanja approached him swaying, with a stunned look on his face, before falling flat on his back. Hinn instructed his aides to pick up Kayanja, but every time he was lifted he fell until he was left on the ground for some time.
Later, three men lifted him up and carried him to his chair where he sat cautiously, before Hinn re-called him to the altar.
Kayanja fell again and Hinn announced that he was anointed. Hinn instructed him to remove his jacket, which, he did with the help of Hinn’s aides. Underneath it, his shirt was stained by sweat.
“Let anointing come to him,” Hinn declared. “Let healing come to Uganda through Pastor Robert’s Ministry. Let the dead be raised in Uganda. I release the anointing on him, a son of the Almighty God.”
When Hinn asked him to pray for Uganda, Kayanja, in a shaky, uncharacteristically husky voice said: “When he told us to join our hands, I saw Jesus over our heads.” Kayanja then broke down and cried and said” “Our past has been erased in the mighty name of Jesus. I can hardly stand in this place.”
At this point Hinn declared that Jesus told him “I have removed the reproach. God has removed the reproach of the past from Uganda.”
The other pastors were also called forward and they fell. On getting up, they looked dishevelled and had to be supported back to their seats.
As Namutebi was being supported back to her seat, Hinn instructed his aides to: “Bring that woman back. I don’t know who you are but there is great anointing on your head. Bring her back here.
“God is giving you power over demons. He is giving you power over Satan, when you walk in, Satan will walk out,” he declared. Other people were also falling and crying during the healing session.
A big number of people testified that they had been healed of different ailments during the crusade. A severely-stunted 16-year-old girl who had epileptic fits at least six times a day had not had an attack for about 24 hours, her guardian said.
An emaciated woman was brought in on her death bed but she got up and danced, hugging Hinn and promptly got saved. A crippled boy from Lango called Moses walked and his sister could not contain her excitement.
A woman who was due for an operation for tumours in her abdomen, produced a medical report on the second day of the crusade, showing that her tumors had disappeared. Hundreds came forward to say they were healed and immediately got saved.

A woman who was due for an operation for tumours in her abdomen, produced a medical report on the second day of the crusade, showing that her tumors had disappeared. Hundreds came forward to say they were healed and immediately got saved.

IT was no longer an issue of speculation but only a matter of time for Benny Hinn to arrive at Nelson Mandela stadium for his first ever Holy Spirit crusade in Uganda. Paster Hinn arrived incognito in a helicopter but it wasn’t until 7.00pm that he stepped on the podium.
Meanwhile people had been queuing outside the stadium from as early as 8.00am. Among the crowd were people who had traveled all the way from Mbarara, Lira, Gulu, Nairobi and Tanzania.
The gates were opened to the public at 12.00pm although the service started at 6.00pm an hour after the scheduled time. People from all walks of life filled the pitch and stadium to full capacity. Charlotte Muhoozi (President Museveni’s daughter in-law) supported an elderly woman with a clutch to a front seat.
The crowds surged into the stadium. Fortunately a special in let had been allocated for the sick. People with all types of disease waited for the moment when they would receive a miracle. Among the sick children were those with deformities including over size heads, withered hands and legs and some were deaf.

One mother who seemed lost in thought tried to shield her sick child from the scorching sun as she waited for the service to begin. Some men and women used clutches as walking aides and some were confined to wheelchairs. It was rather a long wait considering that people had stayed all day but no one seemed to complain. By around three in the afternoon, the stadium was boozing with activity.
The police and the security personnel directed the crowds to their appropriate sitting areas. The 5,000 choir which included members from different churches including the Watoto children’s choir didn’t disappoint as they sang their hearts out to the applause of the audience.
Pastor Isaac Serukenya led the praise and worship session and was joined by Ron Kenoly an American gospel artist and Jody Maguire one of the members of Avalon a Christian singing group.
Pastor Garry Skinner couldn’t help himself as he leaped like an excited little boy to the tunes of wipolo and Jabulani. When Hinn stood in front of the congregation, he teased pastor Kayanja about the secret to his youthful look. “You look 22 not 44.”
Paster Hinn caused laughter when he insisted on speaking in ‘Ugandan,’ (read Luganda,). “I have always wanted to come to Uganda for a long time. But it is God’s timing now,” he said.
Not only did he preach but also lead a lengthy praise and worship session and then started praying the sick. Tears rolled down his eyes as he sang, “How great thou art….” Quoting the book of Mathew, he said that Jesus was going to heal all the sick people in the stadium.
A short while after he prayed, people with amazing testimonies lined on the left and right sides of the podium waiting their turn to testify. An excited woman was in tears when her nephew who had been paralyzed for four years started walking again.
A deaf woman heard for the first time in her life and couldn’t hold back her joy. A woman who had been bed ridden walked for the first time in eight months. In her brother’s words, “my sister couldn’t sit up because she had water in her lungs,” he said.
Those were just some of the few who got the opportunity to testify.
Paster Hinn made an altar call, which attracted a considerable number of people who received dedication cards, which they had to fill and hand in. He left at 10.30pm.

Hinn is on a two-day crusade at the invitation of First Lady Janet Museveni. Parents and their children, big politicians and pastors mixed freely.
There was drama when Hinn instructed everybody to sit down. Enthusiastically, the policemen near the podium took the front seats to listen to the gospel.
In his sermon, Hinn urged all pastors to always make praying for the sick a number one priority, arguing that is what salvation is all about. He said the gospel of healing is above all gospels because it manifests the presence and love of God in reality.
Various people Sunday Vision contacted, said that the crusade re-activated the faith of the Christians who turned up in their tens of thousands.
“This crusade has taken me to higher level in faith. What I have seen, what I have heard, and what I have received has re-energised me spiritually,” said William Kyagulanyi from Kawuku.
“I have seen with my eyes extraordinary miracles which I only used to read in the Bible about Jesus. With my eyes, I have seen the lame walk, the deaf hear, and the blind receive sight. This is what I had come to witness,” said a joyful Luke Onen.

THE lame walked, the blind had their eyes opened, the deaf heard and the sick recovered at the first-ever Pastor Benny Hinn crusade in Uganda held at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole on Friday.
Crippled from birth, 28-year-old Moses from Lira took his first steps at the prayer rally. He entered Namboole in a wheelchair, but was healed as Hinn prayed for people during his first crusade to be televised live to the whole world.
An elderly man who had been relegated to a wheelchair for seven years as a result of prostate cancer and bedridden for one and half years, sprang up and walked.
These were some of the many miracles at the start of the two-day crusade broadcast by the US-based GOD Television.
Hinn a renowned international evangelist explained his crusade in Uganda was the first to be broadcast live.
“Many people have been requesting me to air the crusades live, but I would turn them down. While in Washington I received a request from GOD TV to broadcast the crusade in Uganda live, which he accepted,” he told a fully packed stadium.
“I want to be saved,” the barefoot Moses said soon after giving his moving testimony to thousands of people who had travelled from different parts of Uganda, as well as neighbouring countries.
Moved by his desire to get saved Benny Hinn, promised to meet Moses’ expenses to study at a Bible school and also buy him trendy clothes.
“I want you to know that Moses, the poorest man is now rich with Jesus Christ,” the excited Benny Hinn declared.
Hundreds responded to Benny Hinn’s call to receive Jesus as their Lord and saviour after Moses’ decision.
Benny Hinn, led the congregation into praise and worship as soon as he entered the over 40,000-seater stadium.
Prior to the preaching, he invited Pastor Robert Kayanja to speak, saying he had heard so much about him.
Kayanja testified that 12 years ago he fulfilled his pledge to pay bills for Benny Hinn’s programme to run on a Ugandan television and received his anointing.
Benny Hinn amused the people when he told Kayanja that he looked more like a 22-year-old instead of his 44 years.
“Tell me the secret of your youth. You look so young,” the pastor said amidst cheering from the congregation. “I know what it is, it’s the anointing,” the evangelist added.
With a pastor like Kayanja, Pastor Hinn said, God had blessed Uganda.

RENOWNED international evangelist, Pastor Benny Hinn yesterday arrived in the country to a massive crusade at Nelson Mandela Stadium, Namboole.
Hinn in the country at the invitation of the First Lady, Janet Museveni, arrived at Namboole at around 6:40pm in a chopper.
He entered the stadium at 7:00pm amid tight security.
His arrival in the stadium was not announced. He appeared suddenly and walked straight to the podium, the background of which had a 5,000-strong choir which was singing praises to the Lord.
When the thousands of believers who filled the stadium to capacity noticed his glorious presence, he garnered a deafening applause. Prolonged screaming, chants of praise and clapping reverberated in the stadium.
Hinn, dressed in a white Nehru jacket, joined in the praise. He prayed for the country before his sermon powered by a strong, loud and perfect sound system.
The pastor on the first day of his two-day crusade implored God to bless president Yoweri Museveni, his family and staff.
“Make this nation become your nation,” he cried out to God.
Earlier, there was a scuffle as Pastor Hinn entered the perimeter of the stadium.
His guards flown in from the US closed the gates blocking the entry of several ministers and dignatories. After some insistence and pleading they were allowed in.
Thousands of excited believers converged at the Stadium at dawn to avoid traffic jam and get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend a Benny Hinn crusade. The queues were long and it would take an average of two hours for individuals to enter.
People brought in their sick to receive healing. Some people who had travelled from as far as Gulu, Arua and Mbarara districts had arrived at Namboole by midday.
The two-day event has also attracted a number of people from neighbouring countries including Kenya and Rwanda.
“I could not miss this chance because this is the time I think my child will get her healing,” Joyce Wangari from Nairobi said as she and her child struggled to enter.
Sources on the organising committee estimate that the two-day visit will cost over $1.5m (sh2.5b) including flight costs and logistics, reports Sebidde Kiryowa.
It is estimated that he flew in with television equipment from the USA worth $4.8m and hired at about $250,000.
To illuminate the place enough for the television cameras, the same lighting system that was used on the 2004 Oscar winning Hollywood film The Constant Gardener, which was shot in Nairobi’s Kibero slum, was brought. According to sources, the lighting equipment cost about $500,000.
Four separate sound systems were used at Namboole, one of which came from Nairobi at $500,000 while the rest were hired from Uganda.
Ange Noir proprietor Charlie Lubega’s sound system has been hired at $150,000 while two others have been hired at 50,000 each.

To illuminate the place enough for the television cameras, the same lighting system that was used on the 2004 Oscar winning Hollywood film The Constant Gardener, which was shot in Nairobi’s Kibero slum, was brought. According to sources, the lighting equipment cost about $500,000.
Four separate sound systems were used at Namboole, one of which came from Nairobi at $500,000 while the rest were hired from Uganda.
Ange Noir proprietor Charlie Lubega’s sound system has been hired at $150,000 while two others have been hired at 50,000 each.

I did not attend Benny Hinn’s crusade, this weekend, as the claims of such pastors to heal and perform miracles are nonsense. However, I did go to a Morris Cerullo crusade in Kampala in the late 1990s.
I was disgusted at the suggestion that a person could be cured of HIV/Aids, and even worse, in order to be healed they first had to give money to the organisers. None of these “miracle” claims ever stand up to rigorous scientific testing.
At the current time there is no cure for HIV/Aids. Though the taking of anti-retroviral drugs greatly reduces the level of the virus in the body, and can mean the person has a life expectancy of normal length.
Furthermore, to suggest that the power of prayer combined with monetary donations can cure Aids is highly irresponsible. If people are told they can be cured, and they believe it, they may no longer practice safe sex.
Thus the likes of Benny Hinn (or should that be Benny Sin?) are working against the admirable efforts of organisations such as TASO and the Straight Talk Foundation who have made such huge contributions in the fight against the Aids epidemic.
The giving of money forms an integral part of most crusades. Is it any coincidence that many of the big pastors are extremely wealthy men and women? And who should be the next American pastor to visit Kampala, but the appropriately named Pastor Dollar.
As Business Week magazine has pointed out, Creflo A. Dollar “has been dubbed by critics as ‘Pass The Dollar’ and ‘Cashflow Dollar’ for his ostentatious displays of wealth.” He owns two Roll-Royce cars and flies around America in a Gulfstream-3 private jet.”

Pastor Dollar is no doubt a role model for our own Pastor Robert Kayanja. Kayanja similarly oozes and drips wealth. According to the Red Pepper he owns:

Money is obviously very important to these pastors. Perhaps this explains why WCNC USA reports that Morris Cerullo is facing federal charges of tax evasion which include that “Cerullo lied on his income tax returns, omitting more than US $500,000.”
The report continues: “The federal prosecutor said that the money in question came from offerings at breakthrough rallies and speaking fees. The feds tells us Cerullo used that money as his own. If convicted, Cerullo could spend up to nine years in prison and pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines.”
Religion certainly can play an important role in providing support to people suffering from HIV/Aids, other ailments and the very many harsh challenges that life can throw at human beings. But it should not be used to provide false hope. To repeat, there is no known cure for HIV/Aids, and one certainly won't be found at a religious crusade in the Mandela National Stadium.

SINCE 1990, when he started evangelising, Pastor Benny Hinn has travelled to many nations of the world, preaching salvation and bringing healing to millions of the broken-hearted and cancer victims, among other illnesses.
Until today, Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa were the only African countries blessed with his visit.

People from all walks of life, in Uganda and across the border, are expected to go to Namboole Stadium today for Benny Hinn's healing Crusade at 5:00pm and Saturday at 4:00pm.
Many are expected to attend the crusade in search of healing, miracles and spiritual revival. Others may want to just witness a historic mammoth gathering brought by the American-based international evangelist.
An amazing 5,000-member choir from Pentecostal churches will sing at the crusade.
Hinn's visit is a highly-billed spiritual episode in Uganda and among all Ugandan born-again Christians, some of whom travelled to Nairobi in 2001, to attend his crusade that was attended by more than a million people.

Pastor Joseph Serwadda, of Victory Christian Centre in Ndeeba, says Benny Hinn's visit is a blessing to Uganda because he has come at a time when Ugandans need spiritual intervention and revival.
"Uganda is walking out of a period of political uncertainty and a period when the born-again church needs unity. He, therefore, comes as a precursor to that (unity)," Serwadda said.
"Many people are suffering from HIV/AIDS and other diseases yet Benny Hinn is known for his healing ministry. I have no reservation whatsoever that he will bless and quench the spiritual thirst of this country."
"Uganda is braced for a major revival and anointing as he (Benny Hinn) is an ambassador of Jesus Christ," said Pastor Robert Kayanja, whose Rubaga Miracle Centre was used for the Benny Hinn choir practice.
"He brings a gift of healing to many people whose lives are going to be renewed. When they see miracles, they will realise that what they read in the Bible is true."
But Kayanja says because Hinn is a spiritual leader whom people listen to regardless of religion, tribe or ethnicity and who travels with a large team of people, his visit does not only bestow spiritual blessing to Uganda, but also stands to bring national unity and enhance the economy.
Also, since Hinn, is globally known and his crusades are telecast to millions across the world via his syndicated TV programme, This Is Your Day, Pastor Chris Komagum of Kampala Pentecostal Church, believes his visit will market Uganda.
"Uganda is a gifted and rich tourist destination. However, most of the world knows it for HIV/AIDS, corruption, Kony and all the bad things. So having him here will definitely put Uganda on the international map.
We believe that after his visit, the world will come to recognise that Uganda exists with all its beauty," Komagum said.
Born to heal, win souls
Hinn believes in winning people's souls back to God. During his TV programme, he says the greatest miracle is salvation; the heavens do not rejoice because someone has been healed or acquired wealth. They rejoice at the salvation of one soul.
Nurtured within the Greek Orthodox Church and taught by nuns at a Catholic school, Hinn's conversion to Pentecostalism, at an early age of 15, earned him a visit to a psychiatrist, on recommendation of his Greek father and Armenian mother.
As a high school senior, living in Toronto, Canada, where his family (six boys and two girls) had been forced to relocate because of the 1967 war in Israel, Hinn attended crusades by Pentecostal faith-healing evangelist, Kathryn Kuhlman.
His visits materialised in his subsequent abandonment of his Greek Orthodox roots; a decision viewed by his parents as an act of rebellion against family norms.
In spite of all that, Hinn's conviction in his new-found faith would not be shaken. After listening to Kuhlman, in 1973 (two years after becoming born-again), Hinn writes in his book Good Morning, Holy Spirit how an eight-hour night experience with the Holy Spirit would change his life.
"It seemed that my room had been lifted into the hemisphere of heaven . I began to shake and vibrate all over with the Holy Spirit."
The events of the night slowly sucked Hinn into fulltime evangelism and consequently out of college. With similar influences from Kuhlman, he preached mostly in Canada and the U.S.
Crusades and healing:
In 1983, as pastor of the Orlando Christian Centre in Florida, he attracted a rapidly-growing following as a charismatic preacher, who spoke in tongues and, just like Kuhlman, God healed the sick through him.
His trademark white Nehru jackets and gold jewellery would also become remnants of Kuhlman's influence. She always adorned flowing white garments, trimmed with gold.
However, other Christian ministries criticised him because he lacked any biblical or theological training. His criticism not withstanding, his church averaged over 10,000 in attendance during its heyday.
By 1990, Hinn was receiving prominence from his book, Good Morning, Holy Spirit. He went on to author and co-author more than 10 books, among which are The Blood, The Anointing, Holy Spirit, Miracle of Healing and The Healing Christ.
Perhaps wanting to spread his ministry, in 1999, he handed the church to someone else and moved his ministry headquarters to Grapevine in Dallas, Texas, but retained the name "World Outreach Center Benny Hinn Ministries".

Outside of the Billy Graham crusade, Hinn's ministry is believed to draw the largest crowd of any evangelist in America today.
But in all his travels, his largest congregation was recorded in his 2004 three-day crusade in India, where the crowd swelled to two million by the third day. It is considered to be the largest congregation in the modern history of healing crusades.
"There is nothing that could have prepared me for those moments when two million people raised their hands to the skies and began lifting their praise to the Lord," he is reported to have said of the crusade.
Criticism
From his extravagant wealth and flamboyant lifestyle to highly theatrical style of ministry, critics have had their reasons to draw out the dagger.
"It has not been a pleasant life," Hinn told a Times reporter in 2003. "People think we are in it for the money. They think that God does not really heal, so these guys are just fooling the world. I would be a fool to be in this for money. If I did not believe God healed, I'd quit tomorrow and go get a job."
But Hinn, at times bewildered by all the public criticism, explained that if his 11-year-old daughter found a difficult time figuring him out from the person she sees healing people on crusades, he understands why all criticism might be directed to him.
"One day she asked me a question that blew me away: 'Daddy, who are you? That man up there (onstage), I don't know.' If my own child is asking that, surely the whole world is asking that."
Hinn lives in California, with his wife, Suzanne Harthern. They have three children.

LIFE IN THE MIRACLE WORLD

There is a lot of hate emails going around about the Benny Hinn and Creflo Dollar crusades, and I am wondering, what is wrong with some people!
I mean, if you don’t understand a doctrine, isn’t it safer to stay away and leave right thinking adults to make their own choices and learn the hard way if need be, instead of attacking the unknown?
I thought I knew all the ways through which the devil works, and how wrong I was! I have been receiving email after email, beseeching me not to attend the conferences because someone thinks I am going to be badly ripped off and lied to… Interestingly, all of them are coming from Born Again Christians, or so they say.
Well, all I have done is assure them I will be at both crusades, irrespective of what anyone thinks. It has made me think about the too many attacks on the faith of late.
Everyone has something nasty to say about Pentecostal churches and I think many times, the attacks are even justified by our actions. Actions that do not preach about the Jesus Christ of Nazareth we serve, actions that suggest some churches are serving someone or something else.
But I don’t think the solution is in debates and passing judgment about who is right and who is wrong, rather it lies in prayer.
Like the Bible says in Matthew, Jesus told the parable of the farmer who sowed good wheat but in the night while he was sleeping, his enemy sowed weeds among the wheat.
And when the wheat sprouted, the weeds too sprouted and the farmer’s workers were worried and reported this to their master. He advised them to simply let the wheat and weeds grow together and when the time for harvesting comes, the wheat would be stored and the weeds taken away to be burnt.
I prefer that we treat the happenings in the body of Christ that way. Our master shall deal with that problem when the time is right, if only we pray. It is a battle we cannot fight carnally.
I know there are innocent Christians lost in the wrong places and being misled by false ministers, but again, it is time everybody grew up spiritually and understood the God they serve.
I don’t see, for example, how I can witness certain things that I know are wrong going by the bible I read happening in a church and I stay put simply because the pastor okays them! We need to wake up, grow up and develop a personal relationship with God.
That said and done, a reader complained about this column focusing on born again churches and quoting pastors, instead of looking at Christianity in Uganda broadly. Well, I am a Born Again Christian and only attend Pentecostal services and cannot write about what I don’t know, I am afraid!
It would be deceitful of me to quote from the Catholic Church or Orthodox and Anglican services that I haven’t attended. Amen.

My Analysis
It is so amazing how accurate the word of God is , the word of God cautions us that false prophets will come and perform miracles in last days, and if possible they will deceive the elect(Mathew 24:24). The bible also cautions us that we should to be ware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy (Mark 8:15), Mathew 16:6).The heresies of Benny Hinn and Creflo Dollar have been exposed by the Lord Jesus Christ and whoever claims that this is hate is an hypocrite. Evidence speaks for itself. A close scrutiny of Malita’s article reveals beyond reasonable doubt that she is not reading the entire bible, but just picking verses that make her feel that she is not deceived.
We must separate our selves, on the day we die, we are going to stand alone, your pastor Malita will not be there, you will be accountable alone. We must remember that there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, if we are found to be goats. We live in a period of great deception, if you want the truth you look for it under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Let God be true and every man a lair-time will tell who is not telling the truth.
Malita should , watch these two first videos on Marjoe Gortner who fooled thousands of uncritical Pentecostals. This child could do most the things Benny Hinn does, he could sleigh people in the spirit, he could speak in tongues etc

LIFE IN THE MIRACLE WORLD

There is a lot of hate emails going around about the Benny Hinn and Creflo Dollar crusades, and I am wondering, what is wrong with some people!
I mean, if you don’t understand a doctrine, isn’t it safer to stay away and leave right thinking adults to make their own choices and learn the hard way if need be, instead of attacking the unknown?
I thought I knew all the ways through which the devil works, and how wrong I was! I have been receiving email after email, beseeching me not to attend the conferences because someone thinks I am going to be badly ripped off and lied to… Interestingly, all of them are coming from Born Again Christians, or so they say.
Well, all I have done is assure them I will be at both crusades, irrespective of what anyone thinks. It has made me think about the too many attacks on the faith of late.
Everyone has something nasty to say about Pentecostal churches and I think many times, the attacks are even justified by our actions. Actions that do not preach about the Jesus Christ of Nazareth we serve, actions that suggest some churches are serving someone or something else.
But I don’t think the solution is in debates and passing judgment about who is right and who is wrong, rather it lies in prayer.
Like the Bible says in Matthew, Jesus told the parable of the farmer who sowed good wheat but in the night while he was sleeping, his enemy sowed weeds among the wheat.
And when the wheat sprouted, the weeds too sprouted and the farmer’s workers were worried and reported this to their master. He advised them to simply let the wheat and weeds grow together and when the time for harvesting comes, the wheat would be stored and the weeds taken away to be burnt.
I prefer that we treat the happenings in the body of Christ that way. Our master shall deal with that problem when the time is right, if only we pray. It is a battle we cannot fight carnally.
I know there are innocent Christians lost in the wrong places and being misled by false ministers, but again, it is time everybody grew up spiritually and understood the God they serve.
I don’t see, for example, how I can witness certain things that I know are wrong going by the bible I read happening in a church and I stay put simply because the pastor okays them! We need to wake up, grow up and develop a personal relationship with God.
That said and done, a reader complained about this column focusing on born again churches and quoting pastors, instead of looking at Christianity in Uganda broadly. Well, I am a Born Again Christian and only attend Pentecostal services and cannot write about what I don’t know, I am afraid!
It would be deceitful of me to quote from the Catholic Church or Orthodox and Anglican services that I haven’t attended. Amen.

My Analysis
It is so amazing how accurate the word of God is , the word of God cautions us that false prophets will come and perform miracles in last days, and if possible they will deceive the elect(Mathew 24:24). The bible also cautions us that we should to be ware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy (Mark 8:15), Mathew 16:6).The heresies of Benny Hinn and Creflo Dollar have been exposed by the Lord Jesus Christ and whoever claims that this is hate is an hypocrite. Evidence speaks for itself. A close scrutiny of Malita’s article reveals beyond reasonable doubt that she is not reading the entire bible, but just picking verses that make her feel that she is not deceived.
We must separate our selves, on the day we die, we are going to stand alone, your pastor Malita will not be there, you will be accountable alone. We must remember that there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, if we are found to be goats. We live in a period of great deception, if you want the truth you look for it under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Let God be true and every man a lair-time will tell who is not telling the truth.
Malita should , watch these two first videos on Marjoe Gortner who fooled thousands of uncritical Pentecostals. This child could do most the things Benny Hinn does, he could sleigh people in the spirit, he could speak in tongues etc

THOUSANDS of excited believers on Friday converged at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole in Kampala for Pastor Benny Hinn’s crusade, his first in Uganda. The international evangelist was scheduled to jet in at around 5:00pm for the ‘Holy Spirit Miracle Crusade’.
He was invited by the First Lady, Mrs. Janet Museveni. People started flocking to Namboole as early as 7:00am to avoid being caught up in the traffic jam on Jinja Road and also to get strategic positions inside the stadium. Some brought their sick to receive healing.
Those who travelled from as far as Gulu and Arua in the north and Mbarara district in western Uganda, arrived at Namboole by midday.
The two-day event has also attracted people from neighbouring countries including Kenya and Rwanda.
“I could not miss this chance because this is the time I think my child will get her healing,” Joyce Wangari from Nairobi said, as she and her child struggled to get into the stadium.
The police have deployed over 200 officers in and outside Namboole, according to the spokesperson, Asan Kasingye.
He said they would set up a coordination centre to handle security matters.
Kasingye noted that the Police would work hand-in-hand with other service providers such as the fire fighters, St. John’s Ambulance and Mulago Hospital.
He advised people to go to Namboole with only what is necessary and to be very careful about the people seated next to them.
Some people have used the event to make money by selling rolled chapati popularly known as ‘rolex’, drinks and airtime.
A 5,000-member choir of singers from various churches of born-again Christians ministered to the crowd and several pastors from their churches were involved in the preparations.
Pastor Aaron Mutebi of Entebbe Miracle Centre said he was very excited by Benny Hinn’s coming.
“I’m always excited when great men, whom God is using, visit the nation,” he said.
“Christians should believe in God and his prophets.” Sources on the organising committee estimate that the two-day visit will cost over $1.5m (sh2.5b) including flight costs and logistics, reports Sebidde Kiryowa.
It is estimated that Benny Hinn is flying in with television equipment from the USA worth $4.8m but hired at about $250,000.
To illuminate the place enough for the television cameras, the same lighting system that was used on the set of the 2004 Oscar winning Hollywood film The Constant Gardener, which was shot in Nairobi’s Kibero slum, will be brought in.
According to sources, the lighting equipment cost about $500,000. Four separate sound systems will be used at Namboole, one of which will come from Nairobi at $500,000 while the rest will be hired from Uganda.
Ange Noir proprietor Charlie Lubega’s sound system has been hired at $150,000 while two others have been hired at $50,000 each.

For the faithful, there is no shortage of churches in Uganda, certainly not in Kampala. Most notably, over the past decade, Pentecostal, evangelical churches have spread across the city and its environs. As the trend suggests, other churches have had to surrender most of their flock to these churches with far-reaching consequences.

Thousands of people, almost every day of the week, endure punishing traffic to get to famous churches like Kampala Pentecostal Church (KPC), Rubaga Miracle Centre, Kansanga Miracle Centre and Omega Healing Centre. Having risen from makeshift shelters popularly known as biwempe, these new churches have become winners with enormous budgets (some exceeding those of so many corporate companies).
Unlike so many other mainstream churches, evangelical churches are unabashedly business oriented. They borrow corporate tools ranging from niche marketing to MBA hiring to expand their share of churchgoers.
They also operate seven days a week and their workers receive salaries that are competitive with what other NGOs and government departments offer. For instance, KPC Group's Watoto Children Ministries is now an internationally renowned brand and will soon have a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the KPC Group also has a business manager who takes care of the church's financial matters. In the same breath, Rubaga and Kansanga Miracle Centres have fully operational offices that are also manned by a team of experts.
Disney look
Being great proponents of the 'prosperity gospel', many of the churches don't want to be associated with poverty, which can interchangeably be interpreted for failure.
In order to make newcomers feel at home, most have or are in advanced stages of designing churches to look more like modern entertainment halls than traditional places of worship.
Flushed with success, Pastor Robert Kayanja, founder and senior pastor of Miracle Centre Cathedral, is still rolling out a debt-free construction of a grandiose 10,500-seater glass auditorium, the largest of its kind in East and Central Africa. His 'church' also has an efficient transport ministry that buses people - free - to the church, basketball courts and a cafeteria.
Not to be fazed, KPC is set to build an architectural wonder in form of a 4,500-seater dome at its present site on Bombo road. KPC's projects co-ordinator Collins Kigooya says that though the construction will begin next year, the new centre will offer adjustable seats, basketball courts, a shopping mall, an Internet cafeteria and a library.
Going by its artistic impression, the structure will cost the church an arm and a leg. KPC will also build a 6,500-seater sanctuary in Kisaasi. In 2005, Kansanga opened the doors to its 8,000-seater multi-million dollar church after 13 years of construction.
Although most of these churches hold strict religious views, they scrap dull hymns in favor of multimedia worship and are dominated by people in the 15-35 age bracket.

Funding
Evangelical churches never know an acute lack of finances to put up buildings. For Pastor Kayanja, even if he started out alone in the 1980s by selling his first car to purchase the Shs120m land on which the present cathedral sits, he has never felt the same pinch again while raising money.
He has raised a considerable amount of money from his global crusades, in addition to the tithes and church offerings. For instance, according to his website, while on a trip to Korea, a lady received a miracle healing donated the money that was used to buy all the glass for the building. More so, Hindu benefactors who run a steel workshop gave him steel bars worth $60,000 when he had only $50,000. Similarly, from Russia, someone donated 20 double-decker buses to the church.
KPC's overriding success in fundraising has been the Watoto Ministries, a singing group of orphans. It's believed that Watoto makes more revenue than the church itself. In the recently released annual financial statements for 2006, Watoto contributed Shs10.5b, up from Shs7.1b in 2005. Watoto tours annually all over the world; donations have increased by 48 percent. In 2006, their sponsorships were worth Shs3.1b and product sales Shs12m.

According to Uganda Revenue Authority's publicist Patrick Mukiibi, churches have public character, so they are exempted from paying taxes as per the Income tax Act. "Churches are registered as organisations with public character and unless they indulge in other profit making ventures then they are liable to paying taxes," says Mukiibi.
Branding experts
Most evangelical churches have entered the 'winners' bracket' by becoming brands with 'franchises'. Over the last decade, KPC has set up over eight celebration centres all over the country while Miracle Centre has over 1,000.
Branding experts that they are, the new church leaders are spreading their ideas through every available outlet. Christian music appeals to millions of youths, some of whom might never give church a second thought. Many of the pastors are also authors. Pastor Kayanja has for instance written books including the highly acclaimed Bringing the Presence of God Home, Power Beyond Words, One Thousand Fold Increase and Sorry Am Late.
In addition to books, churches also get extra proceeds from the sale of audiotapes, videotapes and DVDs. For KPC, Watoto sells a host of merchandise on its website and at the church's offices. A T-Shirt costs $15 (Shs30,000) while DVDs of their past performances are at $25 (Shs50,000).
"Evangelicals' eager embrace of corporate-style growth strategies is giving them a tremendous advantage in the battle for religious market share," says Roger Finke, a Pennsylvania State University sociology professor and co-author of a new book, The Churching of America, 1776-2005: Winners and Losers in Our Religious Economy.
Why popular?
Evangelicalism's theological flexibility gives it the freedom to adapt to contemporary culture. With no overarching authority like the Vatican, leaders don't need to wrestle with a bureaucratic hierarchy that dictates acceptable behavior. "If you have a vision for ministry, you just do it, which makes it far easier to respond to market demand," says Michael Lutwama who attends Omega Healing Centre.
People like the flamboyant Peter Sematimba, Robert Kayanja and Imelda Namutebi, who preach "the prosperity gospel" have become popular in many circles. They endorse material wealth and tell followers that God wants them to be prosperous. Sematimba believes that the people of God are now learning that prosperity belongs to them.
"The more the people of God understand the word of God concerning prosperity, the more they get to embrace this truth. Prosperity belongs to them." Sematimba says.
God takes pleasure in the prosperity of his servants; most pastors drive top-of-the-range vehicles and some live in what has been dubbed "The Pastors Village" in Bunga, Kawuku.
Pastor Skinner drives a Grand Jeep Cherokee, Pastor Namutebi a Hummer, Pastor Isaac Kyobe Kiwewesi of Kansanga a BMW and Prado while Pastor Kayanja will soon own a Gulfstream and perhaps become one of the very few Ugandans who can afford one.
Internationally, renowned evangelist Pastor Creflo A. Dollar who will be coming here next month (June) owns two Rolls Royces and travels in a private Gulfstream 3 jet.
Benny Hinn who will be in the country this weekend is said to receive a salary of $116,000 plus a housing allowance from his church, and "much more" in book royalties. He drives an American-made Lincoln.
Joyce Meyer of the Joyce Meyer Ministries currently receives $250,000 in taxable income and the ministry still provides the Meyers with free use of the home, the cars, the plane and an $80,000 annual retirement contribution. She also receives a portion of the $3m a year in royalties earned from books and tapes sold at bookstores. Meyer provided more in royalties to the ministry over the past years than she and her husband had received in salaries and benefits. Meyer has 70 books in print, including one on the New York Times bestseller list.
So organised are these churches that they even have an umbrella body headed by Apostle Alex Mitala. The chairman of the National Fellowship of Born Again churches reveals that, "So far we have a membership of over 1,000 churches though some of them are not fully registered with us." He says that starting up a church requires one to register it as a Non Governmental Organisation with the registry of companies and ministry of internal affairs.
Gushers of cash?
Many churches have grown in terms of the congregation, not only in Uganda but also elsewhere. All this growth, plus the tithing many evangelicals encourage, is generating gushers of cash. In Uganda, the mega churches typically have not fewer than 500 members and an annual budget of around $100,000.
The average mega church pulls in $2m a year and this money is used to run its projects. For the smaller churches on the fringes of the city with three services, about Shs200,000 can be collected in a day.
Mega church business ventures sometimes grow beyond the bounds of the church itself. KPC, early this year bought 104.1 Power FM and also expanded the Watoto Children's homes that have given hope to the orphaned.
Rubaga Miracle Centre's Never Again project, set up in September 2001, has helped close to 300 children, as has the one in Kapeka, Luwero. In these homes, children are housed, fed, clothed, taken care of and educated. With all due diligence, evangelical churches haven't only won over a great number of flock but have also put themselves in a position that has helped their leaders prosper.
Influential Pastors in Kampala
Pastor Isaac Kyobe Kiwewesi is the senior pastor of Kansanga Miracle Centre which he started in 1992 from humble beginnings.
Pst. Gary Skinner is the senior pastor of Kampala Pentecostal Church. The Canadian-born pastor has been able to transform the English-speaking cell-based church located along Kampala Road into one of the most sought after churches in Kampala.
Pastor Robert Kayanja started ministry at the age of 22 and is the founder of the Highway of Holiness International Foundation (Kayanja Ministries) with offices in Texas, USA. He is known to minister with a unique anointing together with miracles, signs and wonders.
My Analysis
The Prosperity Beast system
The writer of this article is defending lies in ignorance. In Revelations chapter 13, the bible talks about two beasts; the first beast was wounded to death and its wound was healed(Rev.3); the second beast came up and exercised the power of the first beast and causeth them that dwell on the earth to worship the first beast(Rev.13:12). There is no doubt that the first beast was the Roman Catholic church(counterfeit Christianity) that was wounded by the reformation. But, what exactly is the second beast!!! The second beast represents counterfeit Christianity or counterfeit ‘Protestantism’. This counterfeit Christianity manifests its self in a variety of forms such: as Americanised Christianity, corporate Christianity, word faith Christianity, Westernised Christianity, Prosperity Gospel Christianity, dominionism Christianity to mention but a few. In Rev.13:4, the bible says that who can wage war against the beast and in Rev:13:13-14, the bible says that the second beast does great wonders and deceiveth the dwellers of the world by his miracles. Pentecostalism and charismatic Christianity despite its mega, corporate churches is part and parcel of the second beast.
If you asked most of the prosperity preachers about whether Catholics are going to heaven, they will tell you yes, many believe that the pope is a great spiritual leader, many are Catholics disguised. The lord Jesus Christ will expose them, wait, you will be shocked. I’m glad that the likes of Benny Hinn have come to Kampala. The Lord Jesus Christ has used this occasion to demonstrate how naïve, undiscerning the so called born agains in Uganda are. The Lord has exposed how deceived the so called prosperity pastors in Uganda are; MINDS ON FIRE FOR GOD HEARTS ON ICE;DECEIVING AND BEING DECEIVED, SPIRITUAL FORNICATORS, WHORES , Harlots . Thank you Lord Jesus Christ, the entirety of your word is truth, Lord(Psalms 119:60)
As evidenced by the monitor article above, the prosperity preachers in Uganda as part of the beast system, are using the media to deceive people, because the have the money. Many saints have been deceived that gain is goodliness. If you want the truth you have to look for it yourself with the guidance of the Holy Spirit of course . Only God is going to destroy the prosperity beast system, it is so powerful that even the print and electronic media succumbs it. Can you imagine, despite the lies of Benny Hinn, all the prosperity preachers in Uganda are quiet, because they are in bed with Mammon and not the Lord Jesus Christ. It is surprising that despite the lies of Benny Hinn Preachers like Gary Skinner are saying;
"The atmosphere over the city of Kampala will be uniquely charged with the dynamic presence of Jesus when Benny Hinn visits Kampala in May of this year. Benny is being used in an awesome way all around the world to honour and lift up Jesus. Each of the miracle meetings will be soul stirring, life changing moments as thousands of Ugandans are healed, transformed, delivered and transformed forever. Kampala, get ready, God is going to do something extraordinary right here in our city." Pastor Gary Skinner.

Pastor Kayanja and Pastor Benny have the same prophetic antics
The spiritual politics of these two ‘men of God’ reveals amazing similarities. Let me begin with Pastor Benny; Hinn prophesied in December, 1989 that God would destroy the homosexual community in America in the mid1990s to be exact about 1994, 1995. Today the homosexual community in America has not only multiplied but is also alive and kicking. Hinn also prophesied in December, 1989, that Fidel Castro, would give up the Ghost(die) in the 1990s. Guess what! As of today Fidel is not only alive but also still enjoying his kisanjaless rule. To add insult to injury, Hinn, again prophesied in April, 2000, that Jesus would appear physically at Hinn’s Nairobi crusade. You Know What! the Lord Jesus Christ never showed up.
Time to check the similarity; Pastor Kayanja, Prophesied in January 2006, that one of the presidential candidates would give up the ghost and that the winner would score 61.8%. As of today, although some of the presidential candidates have been tear gassed on a number of occasions, they are all alive and charging. By the way, the winner got 59%. Pastor, Kayanja, again prophesied in January 2007, that 2007 would be a year of spiritual perfection. Perfection?? What about these spiritual imperfections so far: Strike of the Judges, Mabira bloody riots, political demonstrations and incarcerations, wife and husband encroachments, hail storm and caterpillar plagues, fake Jesus apparition in on an MTN mast, Kifalu squad and nasty of all ritual murders. For the faithful, there is no shortage of churches in Uganda, certainly not in Kampala. Most notably, over the past decade, Pentecostal, evangelical churches have spread across the city and its environs. As the trend suggests, other churches have had to surrender most of their flock to these churches with far-reaching consequences.

Thousands of people, almost every day of the week, endure punishing traffic to get to famous churches like Kampala Pentecostal Church (KPC), Rubaga Miracle Centre, Kansanga Miracle Centre and Omega Healing Centre. Having risen from makeshift shelters popularly known as biwempe, these new churches have become winners with enormous budgets (some exceeding those of so many corporate companies).
Unlike so many other mainstream churches, evangelical churches are unabashedly business oriented. They borrow corporate tools ranging from niche marketing to MBA hiring to expand their share of churchgoers.
They also operate seven days a week and their workers receive salaries that are competitive with what other NGOs and government departments offer. For instance, KPC Group's Watoto Children Ministries is now an internationally renowned brand and will soon have a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the KPC Group also has a business manager who takes care of the church's financial matters. In the same breath, Rubaga and Kansanga Miracle Centres have fully operational offices that are also manned by a team of experts.
Disney look
Being great proponents of the 'prosperity gospel', many of the churches don't want to be associated with poverty, which can interchangeably be interpreted for failure.
In order to make newcomers feel at home, most have or are in advanced stages of designing churches to look more like modern entertainment halls than traditional places of worship.
Flushed with success, Pastor Robert Kayanja, founder and senior pastor of Miracle Centre Cathedral, is still rolling out a debt-free construction of a grandiose 10,500-seater glass auditorium, the largest of its kind in East and Central Africa. His 'church' also has an efficient transport ministry that buses people - free - to the church, basketball courts and a cafeteria.
Not to be fazed, KPC is set to build an architectural wonder in form of a 4,500-seater dome at its present site on Bombo road. KPC's projects co-ordinator Collins Kigooya says that though the construction will begin next year, the new centre will offer adjustable seats, basketball courts, a shopping mall, an Internet cafeteria and a library.
Going by its artistic impression, the structure will cost the church an arm and a leg. KPC will also build a 6,500-seater sanctuary in Kisaasi. In 2005, Kansanga opened the doors to its 8,000-seater multi-million dollar church after 13 years of construction.
Although most of these churches hold strict religious views, they scrap dull hymns in favor of multimedia worship and are dominated by people in the 15-35 age bracket.

Funding
Evangelical churches never know an acute lack of finances to put up buildings. For Pastor Kayanja, even if he started out alone in the 1980s by selling his first car to purchase the Shs120m land on which the present cathedral sits, he has never felt the same pinch again while raising money.
He has raised a considerable amount of money from his global crusades, in addition to the tithes and church offerings. For instance, according to his website, while on a trip to Korea, a lady received a miracle healing donated the money that was used to buy all the glass for the building. More so, Hindu benefactors who run a steel workshop gave him steel bars worth $60,000 when he had only $50,000. Similarly, from Russia, someone donated 20 double-decker buses to the church.
KPC's overriding success in fundraising has been the Watoto Ministries, a singing group of orphans. It's believed that Watoto makes more revenue than the church itself. In the recently released annual financial statements for 2006, Watoto contributed Shs10.5b, up from Shs7.1b in 2005. Watoto tours annually all over the world; donations have increased by 48 percent. In 2006, their sponsorships were worth Shs3.1b and product sales Shs12m.

According to Uganda Revenue Authority's publicist Patrick Mukiibi, churches have public character, so they are exempted from paying taxes as per the Income tax Act. "Churches are registered as organisations with public character and unless they indulge in other profit making ventures then they are liable to paying taxes," says Mukiibi.
Branding experts
Most evangelical churches have entered the 'winners' bracket' by becoming brands with 'franchises'. Over the last decade, KPC has set up over eight celebration centres all over the country while Miracle Centre has over 1,000.
Branding experts that they are, the new church leaders are spreading their ideas through every available outlet. Christian music appeals to millions of youths, some of whom might never give church a second thought. Many of the pastors are also authors. Pastor Kayanja has for instance written books including the highly acclaimed Bringing the Presence of God Home, Power Beyond Words, One Thousand Fold Increase and Sorry Am Late.
In addition to books, churches also get extra proceeds from the sale of audiotapes, videotapes and DVDs. For KPC, Watoto sells a host of merchandise on its website and at the church's offices. A T-Shirt costs $15 (Shs30,000) while DVDs of their past performances are at $25 (Shs50,000).
"Evangelicals' eager embrace of corporate-style growth strategies is giving them a tremendous advantage in the battle for religious market share," says Roger Finke, a Pennsylvania State University sociology professor and co-author of a new book, The Churching of America, 1776-2005: Winners and Losers in Our Religious Economy.
Why popular?
Evangelicalism's theological flexibility gives it the freedom to adapt to contemporary culture. With no overarching authority like the Vatican, leaders don't need to wrestle with a bureaucratic hierarchy that dictates acceptable behavior. "If you have a vision for ministry, you just do it, which makes it far easier to respond to market demand," says Michael Lutwama who attends Omega Healing Centre.
People like the flamboyant Peter Sematimba, Robert Kayanja and Imelda Namutebi, who preach "the prosperity gospel" have become popular in many circles. They endorse material wealth and tell followers that God wants them to be prosperous. Sematimba believes that the people of God are now learning that prosperity belongs to them.
"The more the people of God understand the word of God concerning prosperity, the more they get to embrace this truth. Prosperity belongs to them." Sematimba says.
God takes pleasure in the prosperity of his servants; most pastors drive top-of-the-range vehicles and some live in what has been dubbed "The Pastors Village" in Bunga, Kawuku.
Pastor Skinner drives a Grand Jeep Cherokee, Pastor Namutebi a Hummer, Pastor Isaac Kyobe Kiwewesi of Kansanga a BMW and Prado while Pastor Kayanja will soon own a Gulfstream and perhaps become one of the very few Ugandans who can afford one.
Internationally, renowned evangelist Pastor Creflo A. Dollar who will be coming here next month (June) owns two Rolls Royces and travels in a private Gulfstream 3 jet.
Benny Hinn who will be in the country this weekend is said to receive a salary of $116,000 plus a housing allowance from his church, and "much more" in book royalties. He drives an American-made Lincoln.
Joyce Meyer of the Joyce Meyer Ministries currently receives $250,000 in taxable income and the ministry still provides the Meyers with free use of the home, the cars, the plane and an $80,000 annual retirement contribution. She also receives a portion of the $3m a year in royalties earned from books and tapes sold at bookstores. Meyer provided more in royalties to the ministry over the past years than she and her husband had received in salaries and benefits. Meyer has 70 books in print, including one on the New York Times bestseller list.
So organised are these churches that they even have an umbrella body headed by Apostle Alex Mitala. The chairman of the National Fellowship of Born Again churches reveals that, "So far we have a membership of over 1,000 churches though some of them are not fully registered with us." He says that starting up a church requires one to register it as a Non Governmental Organisation with the registry of companies and ministry of internal affairs.
Gushers of cash?
Many churches have grown in terms of the congregation, not only in Uganda but also elsewhere. All this growth, plus the tithing many evangelicals encourage, is generating gushers of cash. In Uganda, the mega churches typically have not fewer than 500 members and an annual budget of around $100,000.
The average mega church pulls in $2m a year and this money is used to run its projects. For the smaller churches on the fringes of the city with three services, about Shs200,000 can be collected in a day.
Mega church business ventures sometimes grow beyond the bounds of the church itself. KPC, early this year bought 104.1 Power FM and also expanded the Watoto Children's homes that have given hope to the orphaned.
Rubaga Miracle Centre's Never Again project, set up in September 2001, has helped close to 300 children, as has the one in Kapeka, Luwero. In these homes, children are housed, fed, clothed, taken care of and educated. With all due diligence, evangelical churches haven't only won over a great number of flock but have also put themselves in a position that has helped their leaders prosper.
Influential Pastors in Kampala
Pastor Isaac Kyobe Kiwewesi is the senior pastor of Kansanga Miracle Centre which he started in 1992 from humble beginnings.
Pst. Gary Skinner is the senior pastor of Kampala Pentecostal Church. The Canadian-born pastor has been able to transform the English-speaking cell-based church located along Kampala Road into one of the most sought after churches in Kampala.
Pastor Robert Kayanja started ministry at the age of 22 and is the founder of the Highway of Holiness International Foundation (Kayanja Ministries) with offices in Texas, USA. He is known to minister with a unique anointing together with miracles, signs and wonders.
My Analysis
The Prosperity Beast system
The writer of this article is defending lies in ignorance. In Revelations chapter 13, the bible talks about two beasts; the first beast was wounded to death and its wound was healed(Rev.3); the second beast came up and exercised the power of the first beast and causeth them that dwell on the earth to worship the first beast(Rev.13:12). There is no doubt that the first beast was the Roman Catholic church(counterfeit Christianity) that was wounded by the reformation. But, what exactly is the second beast!!! The second beast represents counterfeit Christianity or counterfeit ‘Protestantism’. This counterfeit Christianity manifests its self in a variety of forms such: as Americanised Christianity, corporate Christianity, word faith Christianity, Westernised Christianity, Prosperity Gospel Christianity, dominionism Christianity to mention but a few. In Rev.13:4, the bible says that who can wage war against the beast and in Rev:13:13-14, the bible says that the second beast does great wonders and deceiveth the dwellers of the world by his miracles. Pentecostalism and charismatic Christianity despite its mega, corporate churches is part and parcel of the second beast.
If you asked most of the prosperity preachers about whether Catholics are going to heaven, they will tell you yes, many believe that the pope is a great spiritual leader, many are Catholics disguised. The lord Jesus Christ will expose them, wait, you will be shocked. I’m glad that the likes of Benny Hinn have come to Kampala. The Lord Jesus Christ has used this occasion to demonstrate how naïve, undiscerning the so called born agains in Uganda are. The Lord has exposed how deceived the so called prosperity pastors in Uganda are; MINDS ON FIRE FOR GOD HEARTS ON ICE;DECEIVING AND BEING DECEIVED, SPIRITUAL FORNICATORS, WHORES , Harlots . Thank you Lord Jesus Christ, the entirety of your word is truth, Lord(Psalms 119:60)
As evidenced by the monitor article above, the prosperity preachers in Uganda as part of the beast system, are using the media to deceive people, because the have the money. Many saints have been deceived that gain is goodliness. If you want the truth you have to look for it yourself with the guidance of the Holy Spirit of course . Only God is going to destroy the prosperity beast system, it is so powerful that even the print and electronic media succumbs it. Can you imagine, despite the lies of Benny Hinn, all the prosperity preachers in Uganda are quiet, because they are in bed with Mammon and not the Lord Jesus Christ. It is surprising that despite the lies of Benny Hinn Preachers like Gary Skinner are saying;

Pastor Kayanja and Pastor Benny have the same prophetic antics
The spiritual politics of these two ‘men of God’ reveals amazing similarities. Let me begin with Pastor Benny; Hinn prophesied in December, 1989 that God would destroy the homosexual community in America in the mid1990s to be exact about 1994, 1995. Today the homosexual community in America has not only multiplied but is also alive and kicking. Hinn also prophesied in December, 1989, that Fidel Castro, would give up the Ghost(die) in the 1990s. Guess what! As of today Fidel is not only alive but also still enjoying his kisanjaless rule. To add insult to injury, Hinn, again prophesied in April, 2000, that Jesus would appear physically at Hinn’s Nairobi crusade. You Know What! the Lord Jesus Christ never showed up.
Time to check the similarity; Pastor Kayanja, Prophesied in January 2006, that one of the presidential candidates would give up the ghost and that the winner would score 61.8%. GREAT miracles are expected to happen at Pastor Benny Hinn’s crusade at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole on Friday and Saturday.
The assurance was given by Lubaga Miracle Cathedral’s Pastor Robert Kayanja at a press conference at Light House Television yesterday.
Benny Hinn, a renowned international evangelist, is holding his first ever ‘Holy Spirit Miracle Crusade’ in Uganda. He is the senior pastor of World Healing Church International, Irving Texas in USA.
Entrance is free at the crusade that begins at 5:00pm on Friday and 4:00pm on Saturday. Gates open at noon on both days.
The First Lady, Mrs. Janet Museveni, is expected to attend.
A choir of 5,000 drawn from various churches will minister at the crusade, Kayanja said.
Giant screens will also be placed outside the stadium.
Kampala Extra acting regional traffic chief Lawrence Niwabiine said the Uganda Taxi Operators and Drivers’ Association had agreed to avail 100 taxis at the Constitutional Square and both taxi parks to transport people to Namboole.
Kayanja said besides economic gain people would be changed spiritually and that Uganda would be in the lime light during and long after Benny Hinn’s visit.
“Pr. Benny Hinn emphasises through his teachings of the Holy Bible, the Cross of Calvary on which Jesus died for our salvation and the healing of our diseases,” said former ethics and integrity minister Tim Lwanga on behalf of the crusade’s organising committee.
He said another entrance had been reserved for the sick and disabled at the southern gate of the stadium.
Niwabiine discouraged people going to Namboole from carrying a lot of money and other valuables that could tempt pick pockets.

A woman claiming to a be a prophetess prophesying God’s will has written to Pastor Isaac Kiweweesi of the Kasanga Miracle Centre calling him to abandon plans to marry Sash Babra in favour of another born again lady called Diana Muteesi, currently on Kyeyo in Canada.
Prophetess Maria Nagayi, as she calls her self, says in her May 9 letter to Kiweweesi that unless the Pastor marries Muteesi, he won’t have a peaceful and prosperous marriage.
She claims God appeared to her in a dream and gave her that message.
Our snoops tell us that as Kiweweesi was busy introducing her sweat heart to the flock during Lunch hour fellowship at Fido Dido on Thursday, Nagayi was also busy giving out copies of a letter she had handed in to Pastor Kiweweesi the previous day.
This isn’t the first time prophetess Nagayi is prophesying doom for big name pastors in the City. Previously, she had warned Pastor Robert Kayanja of trouble unless he dropped his wife Jesca and got married to her. Like in Kiweweesi’s will, she claimed she was speaking God’s will.

The secret to Hinn's power is his peculiar anointing, which he connects with Kathryn Kuhlman and Aimee McPherson, founder of the Foursquare Gospel Church. He first felt the "full power of the Holy Spirit" on him at a Kuhlman healing service in 1973 -- and her mantle has presumably fallen upon Hinn. He conducts his meetings almost exactly like hers -- though it takes Hinn much longer to get his audience into the expectant mood that seems to generate psychosomatic "miracles. " In an April 7, 1991 sermon, Hinn revealed that he periodically visits Kuhiman's grave and that he is one of the few with a key to gain access to it. He also visits Aimee's grave, where he says: "I felt a terrific anointing ... I was shaking all over ... trembling under the power of God ... 'Dear God,' I said, 'I feel the anointing.' ... The anointing or power plays a major role at Benny Hinn's "miracle services." He uses it to "slay in the spirit" as Kuhlman did 30 years ago. She has been imitated by charismatic evangelist/healers ever since. But Hinn has a new flare. Yes, like Kuhlman, he touches people on the forehead or neck to make them fall over. This aspect alone of Hinn's meetings is enough to condemn him. He capriciously throws the "Holy Spirit" around in most irreverent fashion, using the third Person of the Trinity as his servant to attract attention to himself Hinn acts as though the "anointing" is some metaphysical power at his disposal, to be rubbed off onto objects. It looks impressive, works largely by the power of suggestion, but has no purpose except to make people stand in awe of Hinn. "It's scary," says Bill James, a former church member. Uganda is blessed in an unusual way at this time by the visitation of God through His anointed servants coming to bless our great country; first Dr. Morris Cerullo and now Pastor Benny Hinn all in the same year. This is no coincidence, because I believe it’s our time to receive the blessings and the anointing of God in order to change our land and to touch the nations with God’s power. The Scripture says:

For many years we have watched him on Light House TV and we have longed for his personal visit to Uganda. Uganda is blessed in an unusual way at this time by the visitation of God through His anointed servants coming to bless our great country; first Dr. Morris Cerullo and now Pastor Benny Hinn all in the same year. This is no coincidence, because I believe it’s our time to receive the blessings and the anointing of God in order to change our land and to touch the nations with God’s power. The Scripture says:
And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. ISAIAH 10:27
Pastor Benny, I want you to know that this nation carries great prophecies over it as far evangelizing the world in these last days is concerned and I believe that your coming is a divine set-up the turn loose a great anointing over this nation that will in turn release many gifts that will be a great blessing to the body of Christ world-wide.
