Prophet Lovy exposed: Lovy Elias - Passion Java (Prophets of Divination & Sorcery)

Lovy Elias - Passion Java (Prophets of Divination & Sorcery)

http://www.burningpointministries.com/lovy-elias-passion-java-prophets-of-divination-sorcery

There are false prophets arising and masquerading as true prophets of God. Those who are not spiritually mature or who are ‘baby’ Christians are being swept away in delusion. These false prophets are operating with a spirit of divination. They are providing accurate information to people and thus deceiving them into thinking they are prophets of the Lord. They are also flowing in power, but the source of their power is sorcery.

The Controversial Claim: Prophet Lovy Elias on God Ruining Marriages - YouTube

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,

They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.” (I John 4:1-2, 5-6 NKJV)

We are commanded to test the spirits to see if they are from God. The Holy Spirit will reveal life and truth and focus on Jesus. The Holy Spirit ministering through someone will turn people’s attention to Jesus, not merely in words but an inward revealing of Christ. The Holy Spirit desires to see believers transfigured into the image of Jesus. Sitting under His ministry feels like a purifying refiner's fire or a cool and refreshing brook on a hot day. The Holy Spirit brings clarity to the scriptures and uses them to reveal Christ.

Prophet Lovy Longomba Hails Rev Lucy Natasha as Most Powerful Prophet in the World - Tuko.co.ke

The spirit of error will not confess that Christ came in the flesh; however, the actual person that the spirit is inhabiting may confess that Christ came in the flesh. We are told to test the spirit and not the person. Spirits of error can hide in false messengers while the person is speaking and telling people about Jesus (confessing He came in the flesh). The spirit of error is not always speaking through a false prophet as it desires to stay hidden. Jesus said:

And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.

For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” (Matthew 24:4-5, 24 NKJV)

False ministers will arise, moving in power and performing miracles. They will say that “Jesus is the Christ.” They will say His name so as to deceive multitudes. They wouldn’t deceive very many people if they were not using Jesus’ name and preaching Jesus. It’s because they preach Jesus that ‘many’ believers will be deceived. The world or those who are not born-again won’t be deceived by false prophets because they don’t pay any attention to ministries, the church, or prophets. You can’t be deceived by something you don’t know about or care about.

Prophet Lovy Longomba Hails Rev Lucy Natasha as Most Powerful Prophet in the World - Tuko.co.ke

Christians who are of the world (given to worldliness) hear those ministers who speak according to the world. These ministers are worldly and carnal, so they speak of worldly and carnal-minded things. They focus on money, possessions, and gifts. The worldly church hears them and receives them because they love the world. Believers walking in worldliness actually receive the spirit of error because they are spiritually blind. They mistake the spirit of error for the Spirit of truth. These worldly Christians are being positioned by false messengers for the falling away from the faith.

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.” (I John 2:15-16 NKJV)

Believers who love wealth, fame, or position and commit lustful sexual sins do not have the love of the Father in them. They think that the Father is their ‘Daddy’ and that they can still live worldly lives but they are deceived. The Father’s love is not in them, even if false doctrine spread by ignorant or purposely deceptive teachers says that God’s love is in them ‘no matter what’. Since the love of God is not in worldly or carnal Christians, they have difficulty hearing those leaders who are truly from God. Their carnal ears are tuned towards prophets and teachers who love the world and minister in a spirit of error. Immature or carnal believers have great difficulty discerning good from evil.

For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” (Hebrews‬ ‭5‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Believers who decide to go on from the elementary principles of Christ (spiritual milk found in Hebrews 6:1-2), begin to eat solid food. As believers pick up their crosses and follow Jesus, their self-life is crucified and Jesus teaches them mature things about Himself. Jesus then increases in the believer and they come to ‘full age’ or the mature man that Christ is. The spiritual senses of a believer are trained to discern good from evil as Christ increases to a fuller measure in them. These believers can then discern the difference between false ministers and real ministers. They can recognize the mature measure of Christ in His true vessels because these believers have a mature measure of Christ in them. Maturity recognizes maturity. Inmmarutiry has difficulty recognizing maturity because it does not know what maturity is.

Prerequisites for Knowing God’s Will and Truth

So Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, If you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples. And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32 AMPC)

If we abide in Jesus’ word, then we become His true disciples. Only when we become His true disciples will we know the truth Himself, who sets us free from all deception. We must allow the Lord to crucify our own will by picking up our crosses and following Jesus. As we deny our own will, we become willing to do Christ’s will. When we become willing to do Christ’s will over our own will and desire, we are able to discern whether teaching is from the Lord or from carnal men. If we are not willing to do the Lord’s will over our own will, we will not be able to distinguish the doctrines of demons through false prophets from the teaching of Jesus through His appointed ministers.

Jesus answered them by saying, “My teaching is not My own, but His who sent Me. If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know whether the teaching is of God or whether I speak on My own accord and by My own authority. He who speaks on his own accord seeks glory and honor for himself. But He who seeks the glory and the honor of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness or deception in Him.” (John 7:16-18 AMP)

The Testimony of Jesus

We are commanded by Jesus and the Holy Spirit, through Paul, to judge righteously. Failure to make a decision about a ministry or to judge inaccurately (unrighteously) could cause us to be deceived. A true prophetic ministry will be presenting Jesus Christ, while a false prophetic ministry will be presenting themselves or their ministry to people. The following verse is crucial for discerning pure and holy prophetic ministries:

And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”” (Revelation 19:10 NKJV)

The Greek word used for ‘testimony’ means “record, report, witness, judicial evidence, declaration in a matter of fact or doctrine, attestation to character, and reputation."

A real prophet of God ministers in the spirit of prophecy, not the gift of prophecy. A real prophet has the witness and judicial evidence of Jesus Christ within him or her. A true prophet of God has the proof of Christ’s character and nature in them and flowing from them. Only when a prophet has Christ’s character, testimony, and His witness within themselves in a great enough measure is the Spirit of prophecy released through them (the true prophetic ministry). The Spirit of prophecy will always reveal Christ inwardly in His people. The focus will be on the eternal Godhead and His plans, will, purpose, and desires. The Spirit of prophecy will not exalt a man or woman or their ministry. True prophets do not allow people to worship at their feet but redirect people to worship Jesus!

Discerning the Spirit of Error

It is much easier to discern the spirit of error when we know and understand what true prophetic ministry is and how it carries the testimony of Jesus. To properly discern the false prophetic ministry, we must discern the spirit of error operating in false prophets. The best way to see this is to use an illustration of two false prophets. If we look immediately to prophecy or demonstrations of power coming from their ministries, then we will be at risk of being deceived like Jesus prophesied in Matthew 24. Therefore, we must first look to see if there is error or the spirit of error functioning in these ministers.

The two prophets we will be examining are Lovy Elias and Passion Java. The Lord has had me name their names because they are damaging the body of Christ and believers must be made aware so they are not destroyed. The good Shepherd desires His sheep to be protected and to come to Him so that Christ can come to full measure in them. If believers stay under the ministries of Lovy Elias and Passion Java, they will be at great risk of falling away from Christ. These two ‘prophets’ are leading people away from Christ.

Lovy Elias is a Kenyan ‘prophet’ and the spiritual son of Passion Java (who was married to ‘prophetess’ Lily Java after being divorced from his first wife). Lovy and Passion are closely associated and good friends. Lovy has a large ministry in Los Angeles, CA, called Revelation Church of Jesus Christ. He also has over one million followers on TikTok, so his influence is increasing. Passion and Lily have a church in Maryland, and he is from Zimbabwe. Lovy operates in a spirit of divination, while Passion functions in sorcery or witchcraft. We will examine these functions in depth later in the article.

Error: God Only Answers Through Prophets

https://www.tiktok.com/@prophetabednegolufile/video/7186096337794895110

The spirit of error manifests itself plainly in the above video of Passion Java. A man is speaking to Passion and teaching how we shouldn’t go directly to God to receive ‘answers’ but that we should go to the prophet. He actually teaches that the answers we want from God are not in God but in the prophet. Passion Java is agreeing, as the other man is teaching a false doctrine that ensnares believers. This doctrine leads believers away from Christ and to the prophet himself. This is a testimony of the false prophet and not a testimony of Jesus. Here is the truth:

““And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” (John 16:23-24 NKJV)

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.” (John 10:27-28 NKJV)

The scriptures show us that we can go directly to the Father and pray or ask in the name of Jesus. When we do that and it’s according to the will of God, the Father will hear us and give us His answer. The scriptures also show that the Lord’s people hear his voice on their own. The word of God crushes this false doctrine; however, those believers who don’t know the word of God are at great risk of deception.

Next in the video, Passion Java states what the man was saying: “Biblical, the Bible says that I cannot do anything unless I have revealed it to my servant the prophet.” Passion is taking the scripture out of context to justify this false claim and he is misquoting the scripture as well. Passion uses Amos 3:7 to prove his point that God only speaks to the prophet. Let’s examine the context of that passage:

“If a trumpet is blown in a city, will not the people be afraid? If there is calamity in a city, will not the Lord have done it? Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken! Who can but prophesy?” (Amos 3:6-8 NKJV)

The context of Amos 3:7 can really only be understood by reading the entire chapter but these verses reveal truth. The scripture is referring to the Lord bringing judgment on a city and the watchman blowing the trumpet to let the people know what is coming (Ezekiel 33:1-11). The Lord is saying that he will not send calamity on a city, region, or nation without first revealing that secret plan of judgment to His servants the prophets. This revelation is given to prophets because part of their assignment is to give the word of the Lord and warn people to repent, or judgment will come as discipline. Note that the verse does not say ‘God can’t do anything’ unless He reveals it to a prophet, as Passion falsely claimed.

Does the Lord use prophets to speak to the church? Yes, He absolutely does use prophets to give certain messages. An example of this would be what John released to the church, which was recorded in Revelation Chapters 2 and 3. John was functioning as a prophet with weighty authority. He gave the direct commands of Jesus to the church. The Lord still moves in this way when speaking corporately to the church. However, in our private relationship with the Lord, we can speak and hear directly from Him as His sons and daughters.

Error: Peter is the Key - Jesus is the Portal

https://www.tiktok.com/@prophetabednegolufile/video/7210281520001453318

Lovy Elias and Passion Java falsely teach that Peter is the key and that you have to get to Peter before you access Jesus (who is the way but really ‘a portal’ they say). They state that Jesus is not the door, which contradicts scripture (John 10:9). The video above is a confusing mess of teaching, which indicates a spirit of confusion or the occult. Jesus gave Peter (and other apostles) keys to the kingdom, which was authority (Matthew 16:19, John 20:22-23), but nowhere in scripture does it say Peter is the key. They are teaching a ‘false way’ to Christ and a confusing way. This is a very concerning blasphemy because they say that you can’t access Jesus (the portal to heaven) until you find Peter. Jesus is the only Way to the Father and He is not a portal. No other man (like Peter) is needed to come to the Way, Jesus Christ. This teaching attempts to profane the holy name of God and His Son.

Pride

https://www.tiktok.com/@prophetabednegolufile/video/7213804329520647429

‘Prophet’ Lovy Elias says, “Right now…I’m saying it before God…I know myself…especially in this nation…can’t nobody cast out demons like me.” This is a very clear manifestation of the spirit of pride. Lovy’s self-life is very strong and coming out in full force in the above video. He is completely deceived if he thinks he is the greatest deliverance minister. The person has nothing to do with casting out demons. Jesus is the one who casts out demons or releases the power and authority to do so. Jesus’ first disciples argued among themselves about who was the greatest and the Bible makes it clear that doing so was immature and foolish.

Abomination

https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=dQbHUN6_n9s

In this video Passion Java tells the church that angels of prosperity are in the house and that people should ‘connect’ to the prophetic word by sowing a financial ‘seed’. He also tries to sell his personal couch during the service, stating that it has been imparted with miraculous power and will heal people. Passion then prophecies that the Lord is speaking to someone about giving $100,000. The scriptures speak plainly about these ‘prophets of abominations’.

But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you, having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children. They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; but he was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb donkey speaking with a man’s voice restrained the madness of the prophet. These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.” (II Peter 2:12-19 NKJV)

Lewdness and Foolishness

https://www.tiktok.com/@prophetabednegolufile/video/7198987481465851142

https://www.tiktok.com/@prophetjeremydominguez/video/7287386348867308846

In this video, Passion Java and Lovy Elias make a mockery of the ministry of Jesus Christ. Passion jokes about a woman getting down on her knees for her husband in the bedroom. Then they all danced and laughed around the platform like high school boys. This is utter foolishness, and they are turning the Church of Jesus Christ into a worldly entertainment center for carnality.

Lovy States He was Baptized into Passion Java (His Spiritual Father)

https://www.tiktok.com/@prophetabednegolufile/video/7234658612008717574

In the above video, Lovy says, “The realm that I am functioning in now…I had to be baptized into Passion.” This is a false teaching and is very concerning. You cannot be baptized into someone else (it is unbiblical). The only One we can be baptized in is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Since Lovy is baptized into Passion Java, it is a baptism of demonic power. Lovy Elias should be pointing believers to Jesus, not a man. This is clearly ‘occult’ teaching that will corrupt the church.

Demonic Impartation from Passion Java

https://www.tiktok.com/@prophetabednegolufile/video/7234784443804814597?_r=1&_t=8cU6qlRwBCM

In this video, a woman testifies that Passion Java gave her a picture of himself. Passion told people in the service that if he appears to them in their dreams, then it is the Holy Spirit coming to them. Passion then prayed for her and said he was ‘unlocking’ her. After Passion Java prayed for this woman, she started receiving bad dreams. The woman has to receive deliverance to be set free.

Idolizing Money

https://www.tiktok.com/@ella.yavala/video/7285597654539685128

These videos contain the sin of coveting money. These false prophets even go as far as to tell people they need to sow a ‘seed’ of a thousand dollars in order to get married and have a husband. Lovy Elias then lies about it, indicating that he is a liar. Passion Java flashes stacks of cash around his expensive cars in another video, as if he were in a 1990’s rap music video. Lily Java operates in a Jezebel spirit as she sells a lie about giving $1,500 for marriage. These videos demonstrate the operation of witchcraft in the church. No believer should be following these ministries after witnessing this evil and sinful behavior.

Passion Java Extramarital Affairs

Since Passion Java demonstrates the terrible fruit of the Spirit, we must also consider the accusations that are being brought against him by multiple women. Multiple witnesses have recently stated that they had a sexual relationship with Passion Java (who is married to Lily) and are pregnant with his children. These women state that Passion wants them to have abortions to protect him and his ministry. In other words, Passion Java wants women to commit murder, so there won’t be any evidence of his adulterous sin. First Witness:

Passion Java Operates in Sorcery

https://www.tiktok.com/@zimcelebx/video/7243720886702886150

https://www.tiktok.com/@prophetabednegolufile/video/7270957503364500742

I support the Holy Spirit and Him moving in power however He desires to do so. I have personally experienced the power of God or the power of the Holy Spirit on many different occasions. I have received real impartations from the Holy Spirit in meetings. I have had the Holy Spirit touch my body with His fire, and I have had Him overwhelm my body to the point where I could no longer stand. I have had the Holy Spirit shake my body with His power. The point I am trying to make is that I spend time with the Holy Spirit and I know Him. I understand His moving and am able to discern His moving because I spend time with Him in His presence. Therefore, I am able to recognize when something is taking place spiritually that is not Him.

Passion Java is ministering in sorcery in the above videos. He is doing ritualistic dances and hand movements that are controlling demons. These demons are touching people with fire, but it is not the fire of God. Because these people are already following Passion Java, they are deceived into thinking the false demonic fire is from God. This sorcery will cause demonic torment to people who sit under Passion’s ministry. Here is a testimony from a pastor in South Africa who used to operate in sorcery and control demonic powers that would release a false fire:

https://youtu.be/jH7ZTcT3ev4

Passion Java and Simon

But there was a certain man called Simon, who previously practiced sorcery in the city and astonished the people of Samaria, claiming that he was someone great, to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This man is the great power of God.” And they heeded him because he had astonished them with his sorceries for a long time.” (Acts 8:9-11 NKJV)

And when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money, saying, “Give me this power also, that anyone on whom I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit.” But Peter said to him, “Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money! You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity.”” (Acts 8:18-23 NKJV)

Passion Java is one who has a reputation for having ‘the great power of God’ like Simon the sorcerer. Passion astonishes some believers with his power. Just as Simon offered money to receive more power of the Holy Spirit, so is Passion’s heart given over to the lust of money, power, and recognition (as the above videos prove). His heart is not right in the sight of God. He is poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity. Apostolic and prophetic ministries are to expose these evil workers in the church just as Peter, Paul, and John did. We must ask the Lord to give us discernment so that we will recognize sorcery when it is operating.

Here is the definition of sorcery: “the art, practices, or spells of a person who is supposed to exercise supernatural powers through the aid of evil spirits; black magic; witchery.”

Lovy Elias Functioning in Divination

https://youtu.be/iHbroaao1Ew

https://youtu.be/82E0Zk-LWlA

https://www.tiktok.com/@prophetabednegolufile/video/7181691707983957253

Private knowledge of someone’s life can be obtained by demonic spirits. These spirits are familiar with a person because they have been with them for a long time. The spirit of divination (in a false prophet) can communicate with other evil spirits in or around a person to gain information about that person. Then the spirit of divination will reveal that information to the false prophet. This provides the false prophet with very accurate and detailed information so that it appears to others that the false prophet is hearing from God. A spirit of divination gained accurate information about Paul from demonic messengers of Satan that followed Paul to persecute him (2 Corinthians 12:7):

“Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much profit by fortune-telling. This girl followed Paul and us, and cried out, saying, “These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.” And this she did for many days. But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And he came out that very hour.” (Acts 16:16-18 NKJV)

The definition of divination is “the practice of attempting to foretell future events or discover hidden knowledge by occult or supernatural means.”

We can see in the above videos that Lovy Elias is constantly making statements about being a true prophet because he knows about a person’s life. But does a real prophet have to keep justifying himself and explaining why he is real? This is a red flag. Most of the information he provides people is about the past, because that’s what he can divine. Then he uses that hidden knowledge acquired by supernatural means to validate his prophetic ministry. Carnal and undiscerning believers simply think he is a prophet and must hear from God because they are unfamiliar with how the spirit of divination operates. The spirit of divination always brings its master much profit! It always exalts itself and tells people what a great prophet it is!

Lovy Falsely Teaches Sexual Sin is Not Sin

https://www.tiktok.com/@prophetabednegolufile/video/7237499849170603269

Lovy teaches that sex before marriage is not actually a sin but only something that could lead to sin. This false teaching is an abomination. Fornication is defined as “voluntary sexual intercourse between two unmarried persons or two persons not married to each other.” This evil teaching opens the door to sin and it is why Jesus strongly rebuked the church:

Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: you have some people there who are clinging to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to set a trap and a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, [to entice them] to eat food that had been sacrificed to idols and to practice lewdness [giving themselves up to sexual vice]. [Num. 25:1, 2; 31:16.] You also have some who in a similar way are clinging to the teaching of the Nicolaitans [those corrupters of the people] which thing I hate. Repent [then]! Or else I will come to you quickly and fight against them with the sword of My mouth.” (Revelation‬ ‭2‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭AMPC‬‬)

Testimony from a Woman Who Attended Lovy’s Revelation Church

“I am a woman of God in Hollywood! I’ve been an actress and model for over 20 years! I grew up in the church, so the Lord has been a stable part of my life! He’s all I know! When I moved to L.A. I joined the church’s there. I was brought to Revelation Church (Lovy Longomba - Elias) in the spring of 2017 by a co-worker who believed in God. She loved chasing the prophetic as most people in L.A. do!

Within time I was at his (Lovy’s) church, but I didn’t like him initially. I felt almost afraid of him as he prowled the audience! He would look at me, but would not prophesy! I kept going back on my own because the nature of the church is ‘to be special enough’ to get a word from him! It’s a very ‘high school’ type atmosphere. I repented for falling prey to that and giving in. I went and joined the ministry and the ‘cattiness’!

One day, a very impoverished-looking white girl came in with her boyfriend! She reminded me of Alanis Morissette in her ‘Ironic’ video (with a winter hat and scarf)! Lovy immediately called her out and prophesied to her that she would change lives! He continued by calling her up and laying hands on her! She cried and had reactions to his impartation! But it was like he couldn’t stop—he just kept giving her words! More and more! Many people were jealous and wondered why he was giving her so much attention and time! She left and never came again. Within years, she was ‘Kathryn Krick’ as we know it! I recognized her right away!

As for Lovy, he is into deep witchcraft! His spiritual father Passion Java is a high-level warlock! He’s known in India and Africa as such! These are things us Americans would not know of! I was very successful when I met them. Working bicoastal and moving forward in my life and career. In October 2017 he took notice of me and targeted my life. He astro-projected in my dreams often and would act like a lover towards me! On November of that year, Lovy and Passion tricked the congregation by telling us something prior to the service; only to switch it up the moment we all arrived! It was a foot washing service that they forced us all to do! But it was in oil! We didn’t want to do it but we were tricked! They systematically lined up everyone in the church and went one by one until we all got our feet washed in oil! Lovy was at one basin while Passion was at the other. I stood in Passion’s line and his wife Lily glared at me as if she saw a ghost! She whispered in Passion’s ear and when I got to his oil basin he refused to wash my feet, but had Lovy do it!

Instantly, I lost my jobs though I was never fired! I lost my home and had to sleep in my car. I went completely broke! This lasted for years. I was able to eventually get back to housing, but my career and jobs never fully recovered. I have since repented! I have been undergoing deliverance from real men and women of God. I do not openly share my experience nor do I speak about it, but the truth must be told! People’s lives are being destroyed by wicked people passing as prophets!”

Conclusion

For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand.” (Matthew 24:24-25 NKJV)

We will not know false prophets by their signs and wonders. We will only know them by their fruit (of the Holy Spirit). Those who trust in prophets merely based on power and prophecy will be deceived by a spirit of divination and sorcery. I believe that the videos and testimonies in this article clearly show the bad fruit of these so-called prophets. These men are wolves and are dangerous to the body of Christ. Their sorcery and divination have a heavy grip on many believers.

““Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them. “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” (Matthew 7:15-23 NKJV)

By their fruits we know them. These bad trees (false prophets) will be burned in Hell’s fire unless they repent. They are purposely leading people astray and destroying the Lord’s temple. Jesus makes it clear that these wolves can actually prophesy in Jesus’ name, cast out demons in Jesus’ name, and perform miracles in Jesus’ name, and Jesus will reject them because inwardly they practiced sin and lawlessness. We must not judge by outward appearance but trust the Holy Spirit to teach us to judge righteously. We must discern who people are inwardly. Are they full of lawlessness, or are they full of the nature of Christ?

Leaders who choose to share their platform or minister with Lovy Elias and Passion Java should be warned. If leaders allow these false prophets to minister to believers that the Lord has entrusted them to protect, these leaders will be held accountable by the living God. Leaders are responsible for discerning false prophets in order to protect the Lord’s sheep. If leaders cannot discern that these two false prophets have rotten fruit, then they should not be leading God’s people. The Lord will hold leaders accountable if they allow His precious people to be damaged by these men.

False Prophet Lovy Elias - Figure Out Your Purpose or People End Up In Hell

They said to him, "Where is Sarah your wife?" And he said, "She is in the tent." The Lord said, "I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife shall have a son." - Genesis 18:9-10 (ESV)

And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent. And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. - Genesis 18:9-10 (KJV)

The above link is to a video teaching from another false teacher littering the Charismatic landscape. Lovy Elias is his name, and he fancies himself a prophet. I do not know why anyone would trust this obvious charlatan who apparently was named after Thurston Howell's wife on the old Gilligan's Island sitcom. Nonetheless, he has 348,000 followers on YouTube alone, so he must be fooling quite a few people and I pray this writing finds them and frees them. The good thing about blatantly false teachers is they are easy to expose because they do not have the indwelt Holy Spirit inside and thus, have no sense of how to rightly handle scripture. They rely on charisma and manipulation to sucker people in. Throughout this video we hear people who sure seemed to be strategically placed next to microphones so they can gush at the "teaching" they are receiving. This is more than just the usual amen chorus that the likes of Steven Furtick employ. These folks are shouting silliness like "teach us papa" that makes you just cringe inside. This video starts off apparently selling the notion that our birthday is somehow cosmically connected to God and the blessings we receive from Him, but it goes wildly off the rails because the key verse he hangs this entire mess on, he clearly does not understand. What is more, he is clearly lazy because a simple google search and five minutes in commentaries would have revealed the truth for him before making an ass of himself here. Of course, he does not care. As long as he sounds sincere and pious, then he assumes the suckers will accept everything he has to say. Let us reason together again beloved as we sort through this pseudo-spiritual slop.

"Everything spiritual was designed for you to take advantage of. No spirit comes into the world except through a portal. Your birthday communicates when heaven opened to release your spirit into the world. For your birthday, there is a special grace that you receive every year that is supposed to carry you through that year. Every year marks growth and there is a special grace for every growth. I feel like I am talking to myself. If you are there shout fire." - Lovy Elias

Ah yes, the old "portal" theology. It is a favorite among the Charismatic crazy crowd. According to this false prophet, my own special portal opens only when I am born and when I die. Thus, he concludes that our birthday holds special significance. Again, the idea is to sound esoteric and mysterious. To achieve that, he teaches we receive a "special" grace. Not just your ordinary grace! In the video, he teaches that just like we are expected to grow physically every year, we are also supposed to grow spiritually, and our frustration is often born out of not advancing spiritually. Huh? Without being saved, there is no "spiritually." Then Lovy starts this pattern where he fishes for feedback by saying he feels like he is talking to himself. I watched another horrible teaching from him on finances where he literally would not move forward with the teaching until the number of "thumbs up"; or likes, increased past a certain threshold. Then for some unknown reason he demands the people there shout "fire", to which they eagerly obey and call him papa again.

He then has someone read from Genesis 18, our key verses today. He gets unnecessarily hung up on the phrase "according to the time of life" and wrongly equates this to mean "birthday." It does not and if he were not so arrogant or lazy, he could have figured it out. I placed both the KJV and the ESV in the key verses and we see that this mysterious phrase simply meant - "about this time next year." To be sure, I check the commentaries and none of them claim this phrase found in the King James meant birthday. Nonetheless, Lovy Elias actually claimed here that the "grace Sarah desired", to have children, could only be given on her birthday. As if God was somehow limited in His own creation. This is very important because his entire teaching hinges on this absurd understanding of this sentence fragment in Genesis. From this launching point, Lovy flies off the rails, crashes and burns.

"Have you investigated the day you were born? Why you were born? The attacks on you didn't start when you believed in Christ. Or when you started going to church. Or when you started hanging out with other Christians. The demonic attacks began in your life the day you were born because the devil understands what you came to do. The devil observed the day you were born but you have no idea why you were born." - Lovy Elias

Interesting here that Lovy Elias has clearly drunk the purpose driven Kool-Aid. Beloved, this was one of the greatest atrocities ever committed against the church by Rick Warren. You may want to sit down for today's deep theology. You're not that important. Sorry, but you're not. Neither am I. The purpose of a Christian is to grow into the fullness of Christ, live a life the represents Him and be prepared to answer for our faith. That can be accomplished as an accountant, or a farmer, or a housewife and mother. This notion that there is some hidden purpose for every single Christian is simply not supported biblically. Realize that what Rick Warren was doing, was ensuring that his mega church always had a plethora of volunteers so he would not have to pay to staff it. If you want to help your church in the Parking Lot Ministry, knock yourself out but do not think for a second it is a "calling" or that you are fulfilling your purpose.

Perhaps the more astounding thing here is the power Lovy Elias gives to the devil. The devil understands what I am supposed to do the moment I am birthed? The devil himself personally observed the day I was born? So, the enemy is omnipresent? He is omniscient? He is omnipotent? No beloved, he most certainly is not. When you got into that fight in the sandbox at age five it was not a demonic attack. When you fell off your bike at age 11 it was not a demonic attack. This teaching scratches itching ears because it proffers the silly notion that you are just so important that the enemy of our souls was waiting and watching when you were born so he could spend a lifetime attacking you to prevent you from realizing the true measure of your greatness. It is a theology born for the NAR apostate church that has poisoned itself on Warrenology for decades now. Elias was far from done with his insanity however:

"Moses was born in Egypt. The devil already knows there is a spirit that has entered the world. This boy will deliver the children of Israel. I want the children of Israel in bondage because if they get delivered a great nation will come of this and that great nation will produce the Messiah. So the devil wants to kill Moses as a child then the whole plan is aborted because Moses was the only one designed to do that one thing." - Lovy Elias

Right. So, the devil knew that "a spirit" had come into the world when Moses was born that would deliver the children of Israel and that this would lead to a great nation and thus the birth of the Messiah? Are you serious? This is not only extra-biblical, but it rewrites the reasons God already gave us in the text. A new Pharoah had come to power who did not know of Joseph, and he saw the Israelites were growing in number and he feared they would revolt and join the enemies of Egypt. It is for this reason the Pharoah eventually ordered the death of male children, not just Moses. The more insulting thing here is this notion that God is somehow inept with His own creation. That if Moses had been killed then the entire plan of salvation was off! As if the grand plans of God relied solely on Moses instead of the Almighty! Moses was only special because God made him special. If he had died or refused, God would still have accomplished His desires regardless.

"Don't you realize it is very dangerous when the bible says when you don't do what you are supposed to do the blood of people will be on your hands. There are people who cannot get saved that will never receive Jesus because you never did your work. And there is no one who can save those people because you are the only one designed to reach them. So those people's blood will be on your hands." - Lovy Elias

This is just scripturally criminal to assault the bible like this. God did say to the Prophet Ezekiel that if God had told the wicked they will die and Ezekiel did not warn them, then their blood would be on his hands. Here is today's second deep theology point - you are not Ezekiel. This is not a point God is making to everyone. You know why? Because He said it directly and audibly to Ezekiel. Just think of the loathsome arrogance to assume that you are so special that people will end up in hell if you do not embrace your specialness. This blood warning also appears when Paul says goodbye to the Ephesian elders and declares he is free from their blood because he did not hesitate to teaching them the entire gospel. So, yes there are certain callings such as pastor where the lives of your listeners are at stake as Paul teaches Timothy. That is why preachers and teachers are held to a higher standard and why false teachers are storing up wrath against themselves. That is NOT what Lovy is trafficking in here. He is telling John Q Public that they too have special people that ONLY they can reach. That God assigns these tasks to individuals and if they fail, the people are lost forever. How ridiculous and dangerous. God has a plan, and we might even be used as part of it but do not think for a second that God needs us to accomplish anything. He does not.

"If Moses had never become what he was supposed to be then the blood of Israel would be on his hands. How can the devil know more about your future than you? John the Baptist was born knowing exactly what he was supposed to do. Samson knew what he came to do. Joshua knew what he came to do. You see God can stop the devil from touching your future but you yourself can destroy your future because you don't know what you are supposed to do. Do you understand the devil cannot hinder what God has ordained. The only way the devil can hinder it is by putting a stumbling block before you. The day you received the Lord Jesus you were given a second chance to fulfill why you were put on earth. You were enforced and empowered to fulfill why you were put on earth. There are some of you that are born again but still do not know what you are supposed to do." - Lovy Elias

Wow, this is so breathtakingly bad. So, if Moses had never become who he was supposed to be, than the blood of all of Israel would have been on his hands? Beloved, the devil does not know more about your future. There is zero indication that John the Baptist knew anything of his eventual service unto God while growing up. Samson knew? Really? He knew and he still ended up with his eye gouged out? This nonsense is the end result of decades of stupid teaching from the Purpose Driven Life. It belittles the ordinary life that is still yielded to Christ. Not everyone is called to a grandiose ministry or purpose. The reality is most are not. Most are called to the mundane. Within that mundane life however, so much fruit can be borne. I am sure we all know lives well lived that no one really heard about. They still touched so many people and they deserve to not be cheapened the way this huckster does. By the way, didn't this teaching start out being about birthdays and portals or something? Hard to track when it results in a train wreck this bad.

Thankfully, I know why I was born. It was to expose false teachers and prophets like Lovy Elias.

Mission accomplished.

The cult of evangelist TB Joshua

TB Joshua, a charismatic Nigerian leader of one of the world’s biggest evangelical churches, secretly committed sexual crimes on a mass scale, a BBC investigation spanning three continents has found.

Testimony from dozens of survivors suggests Joshua was abusing and raping young women from around the world several times a week for nearly 20 years. In early 2002, in the depths of a grey English winter, 21-year-old Rae disappeared.

The last time many of her friends saw her was at university in Brighton. She had been studying graphic design, living in a shared house 25 minutes from the sea. Rae was bright and popular.

“For me, it was like she died, but I couldn’t grieve her,” says Carla, Rae’s best friend at the time.

Carla knew where Rae had gone. But the truth of it was hard to explain to their friends. A few weeks previously, she and Rae had travelled to Nigeria together, in search of a mysterious man who could seemingly heal people with his hands. He was a Christian pastor, with a black beard, in white robes. His name was TB Joshua. His followers called him “The Prophet”.

Rae and Carla planned to visit his church, the Synagogue Church of All Nations [Scoan], for just one week. But Rae never came home. She had moved into Joshua’s compound.

“I left her there,” says Carla, tears flowing freely. “Never will I ever forgive myself for that.”

The church looms like a gothic temple over the Ikotun neighbourhood in Lagos, Africa’s largest city. Joshua designed all 12 storeys of the compound adjoining it, where he lived alongside many of his followers. He oversaw the construction of the multiple staircases to his bedroom. The three doors to it, in and out. The hidden prayer room full of tiny mirrors. The “clinic” downstairs.

We have interviewed many people who lived inside. They paint a picture of a concrete labyrinth; a nightmarish world where reality slipped away and horrors unfolded. Numerous women say they were sexually assaulted by Joshua, with a number claiming they were repeatedly raped behind closed doors. Some say they were forced to have abortions after becoming pregnant.

Today, Rae is back in England, living in a beautiful hamlet in the countryside. She’s smiley and laughs freely, but there’s something restless about her.

“On the outside I look normal, but I’m not,” she says.

When Rae talks about her years in Lagos, her lips tighten. She talks breathlessly. At times, the colour visibly drains from her face. She spent 12 years inside Joshua’s compound.

“This story is like a horror story. It’s like something you watch in fiction, but it’s true.”

The two-year investigation, in collaboration with international media platform openDemocracy, has involved more than 15 BBC journalists across three continents. They gathered archive video recordings, documents, and hundreds of hours of interviews to corroborate Rae’s testimony and uncover further harrowing stories.

More than 25 eyewitnesses and alleged victims, from the UK, Nigeria, Ghana, US, South Africa and Germany, have provided accounts of what it was like inside Joshua’s compound, with the most recent experiences in 2019. The Synagogue Church of All Nations did not respond to the allegations, but said previous claims have been unfounded.

Former followers have previously tried to speak out about abuse, but say they have been silenced or discredited by Scoan, and two say they were physically assaulted. When the BBC’s Africa Eye was filming outside the church, a security guard shot above the heads of the crew after they refused to hand over their material.

Many of our interviewees have waived their legal right to anonymity, in most cases asking just their surnames be omitted. Others asked that their identities remain hidden for fear of reprisals.

The man at the heart of Scoan is regarded as one of the most influential pastors in African history. He died, unexpectedly, in June 2021, just days after many of our first interviews were recorded. On the day of his funeral, Lagos ground to a halt as mourning crowds packed the streets.

Some 50,000 people would attend Joshua’s services every week, and the church became a top site for foreign visitors to Nigeria. His global television and social media empire was among the most successful Christian networks in the world, with millions of viewers spanning Europe, the Americas, Southeast Asia and Africa. His YouTube channel had hundreds of millions of views.

The church is still popular today, led by his widow Evelyn and a new team of disciples. An interview with Nelson Mandela’s daughter in 2013 shows a portrait of Joshua sitting on the former president of South Africa’s desk. In his lifetime, Joshua attracted dozens of politicians and celebrities to his church, including sporting legends such as Chelsea FC striker Didier Drogba and at least nine African presidents.

Many of his followers were drawn by his philanthropy, but most came for his so-called miracles. Joshua systematically filmed spectacular “healings” throughout his career. After Joshua prayed for them, individuals on camera testified to being cured of ailments ranging from cancer and HIV/Aids, to chronic migraines and blindness.

“We’d never... seen anything like that before,” says Solomon Ashoms, a journalist who covers African religion.
“The mysteries that he had, the secrets that he carried, [were] what people followed.”

A number of Joshua’s videos show men with severely infected genitals, which burst open and then miraculously heal when he raises his arm in prayer. Others show women struggling to give birth, who instantaneously deliver their children when Joshua approaches. After each event, those involved would testify to being saved.

Video tapes of Joshua’s healings were circulating among evangelical churches throughout Europe and Africa in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Rae, who had grown up with conservative Christian values, was inspired to travel to Lagos after watching these videos, shown to her by a South African acquaintance.

“I was gay and I didn’t want to be,” she says. “I thought: ‘Well, maybe this is the answer to my problems. Maybe this man can straighten me out. Like if he prays for me, I won’t be gay anymore.’”

Another British woman, Anneka, from Derby, in the Midlands, says she was also entranced by the videos.

“The whole room went completely still,” she says, describing the moment her church congregation first encountered the tapes when she was 16.

“This is what Jesus would have done,” she remembers thinking. She, too, went on to travel to Nigeria.

Neither Rae nor Anneka, nor many of the young people who left their home countries to meet Joshua in the early 2000s, paid for their tickets. Church groups across England raised funds to send pilgrims to Lagos to witness these miracles - and Joshua contributed Scoan money himself, senior former church insiders say.

Later, once the church was well established, he charged high prices for pilgrims to come and stay. Bisola, a Nigerian who spent 14 years in- side the compound, says courting Westerners was a key tactic.

“He used the white people to market his brand,” she says.

Former insiders estimate Joshua made tens of millions of dollars from pilgrims and other money streams - fundraising, video sales, and stadium appearances abroad. He rose from poverty to become one of Africa’s richest pastors.

“That guy [was] a genius,” says Agomoh Paul, a man once regarded as Joshua’s number two in the church, who left after 10 years in the compound.

“Everything... [he did was] planned out.”

A major part of this planning was the faking of the “miracles” says Agomoh Paul, which he says he oversaw. He and other sources say that those “cured” had often been paid to perform or exaggerate their symptoms before their supposed healing took place. In some cases, they say, people had been unknowingly drugged or given medicine to improve their conditions while at the church, and later persuaded to give testimony about their recovery.

Others were falsely told they had tested positive for HIV/Aids and that, thanks to Joshua’s ministrations, they had now become virus-free. When Rae landed in the seething heat of Lagos, she saw miracles too. Dozens of people came and testified to having been healed of serious illnesses.

“I had a really involuntary reaction. I just broke down in floods of tears,” she says.

It was then that Rae was chosen. Joshua singled her out to become a “disciple” - an elite group of followers who served him and lived with him inside his compound.

Rae thought she was going to study under Joshua, to “cure” her sexuality, to learn how to heal people. The reality was very different.

“We all thought we were in heaven, but we were in hell,” she says. “And in hell terrible things happen.”

Sixteen of the former disciples we interviewed, including Rae, provided first-hand testimony of sexual assault or rape by Joshua. Many say it happened frequently - as much as two to four times a week - for the duration of their time in the compound. Some described violent rapes which left them struggling to breathe or bleeding.

Many believed they were the only ones being assaulted and did not dare share what was happening to them with the other disciples, as they were all encouraged to report on each other.

According to Victoria, who asked us to change her name for safety reasons, and who spent more than five years in the compound, other sexual assault victims were often handpicked by Joshua from the church congregation.

She says she was picked out while attending the church’s Sunday school, and says she was raped in Joshua’s private quarters a few months later, after her parents entrusted her into his care. She was then recruited as a resident disciple.

Victoria says Joshua ordered some of his most trusted Nigerian disciples to help identify new victims. The group was informally known as the “fishing department” and she says it ultimately coerced her into joining. Another disciple involved in similar recruitment was Bisola.

“TB Joshua asked me to recruit virgins for him... So that he could bring them into the disciple-fold and disvirgin them,” she says.
She participated because of both “indoctrination” and threats of violence, she says, adding she herself was repeatedly raped by Joshua.

A number of women say they were under the age of legal consent - which is 18 in Lagos state - when they were sexually assaulted or raped. This offence can lead to the death penalty in Nigeria. Jessica Kaimu, now a broadcast journalist in Namibia, says she was just 17 and a virgin when Joshua raped her in the bathroom of his penthouse, within weeks of her becoming a disciple.
