‘Pope Francis’ Bows Head in ‘Silent Adoration’ Beside Islamic Grand Mufti in Turkey’s Blue Mosque

Turkey

ISTANBUL, Turkey – In a move that drew some concerns from onlookers worldwide, the Roman Catholic pontiff known as Francis visited Turkey’s Blue Mosque on Saturday, expressing reverence during a moment of prayer observed by the nation’s grand mufti, who led him on a tour of the Islamic facility.
According to reports, Francis took off his shoes, folded his hands and bowed his head, standing silently next to Rahmi Yaran, who serves as the nation’s highest Islamic leader as grand mufti. The two faced Mecca as Yaran prayed with his palms raised.

The Vatican described the gesture as a “moment of silent adoration” during the Roman Catholic leader’s visit to the 17th century Sultan Ahmet mosque. Other descriptions of the visit state that it is meant to show “mutual respect” for each other’s religion. Francis’ predecessor Benedict XVI also visited the facility during his tenure.

“May Allah accept it,” Yaran said following the time of prayer.

In providing a tour of the turquoise-tiled mosque, Yaran spoke to the Roman Catholic leader about prayer, and expounded on verses from the Koran. Francis remarked about the importance of adoring God and not only worshiping him.

“His visit to this secular but Muslim country of nearly 77 million people also offers the opportunity for Pope Francis to join Orthodox Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople for celebrations in Istanbul of the feast of St. Andrew,” the Catholic News Service reported.

Pope Francis began a visit to Turkey on Friday with the delicate mission of strengthening ties with Muslim leaders while condemning violence against Christians and other minorities in the Middle East.

Following his visit to the Blue Mosque, Francis also visited the Haghia Sofia, a former Byzantine basilica that was converted into a mosque following the Muslim conquest of 1453. It now serves as a museum featuring both Roman Catholic and Islamic relics and mosaics.

The pontiff’s visit to the museum and mosque is not the first time that he has made gestures or issued statements seeking understanding between the two religions. As previously reported, last year, Francis issued a written greeting to Muslims in recognition of the close of the Islamic holiday Ramadan.

“Turning to mutual respect in inter-religious relations, especially between Christians and Muslims, we are called to respect the religion of the other, its teachings, its symbols, its values,” he wrote. “Particular respect is due to religious leaders and to places of worship. How painful are attacks on one or other of these!”
Additionally, as previously reported, Francis held his first ecumenical meeting last March, greeting Christian, Muslim and Jewish leaders, as well as those who ascribe to no faith at all. During the occasion, he praised the Muslim leaders that had come for the meeting, remarking that they were men who “adore the one, living, and merciful God and who call upon Him in prayer.”

“For my part, I wish to assure you, following in the path of my predecessors, of my firm will to continue on the path of ecumenical dialogue,” Francis said, referencing the Second Vatican Council. “I also ask of you the kindness of a special prayer for myself, so that I might be a pastor in harmony with Christ’s heart.”
Last December, he met with Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, the secretary general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), at the Vatican, who he asked to pray for him in the days ahead.

However, some are concerned about the pontiff’s ecumenism with Muslims. Mike Gendron of Proclaiming the Gospel Ministries of Plano, Texas, told Christian News Network following Francis’ meeting with Ihsanglu that the influential religious leader’s actions align with Roman Catholic teaching.

“The pope’s request for prayers from the Muslims is consistent his belief that they worship the same God,” he stated. “The Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraph 841, reads, ‘The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims … together with us they adore the one, merciful God.’ This is a blatant rejection of the teachings of Christ, who declared He is the only way to the Father. Those who do not believe Jesus is God will die in their sins.”

Pope Francis has taken part in a Muslim prayer alongside the Grand Mufti of Istanbul on the second leg of his three-day visit to Turkey.

Francis stood on Saturday morning with his head bowed and hands clasped in front of him in a two minutes of silent prayer inside the 17th-century Sultan Ahmet mosque, aiming to show respect for Islam and encourage stronger ties between the two faiths.

“May God accept it,” Rahmi Yaran, the Grand Mufti of Istanbul told the pope at the end of the prayer.

Earlier, Yaran gave Francis a tour of the mosque which is famed for its elaborate blue tiles and cascading domes and better known as the Blue Mosque.

Francis then visited the nearby Haghia Sofia, which was the main Byzantine church in Constantinople – present-day Istanbul – before being turned into a mosque following the Muslim conquest of the city in 1453. The Haghia Sophia
is now museum, although some Islamic groups want it to be converted back into a mosque.

My comment:
The Bible explains that many antichrists have walked into the world. One of the ways to discern them, is to study their doctrines. They will eventually deny that the Jewish Messiah has come in the flesh.
Islam outright reject that God of Israel exist.  No need to underline that their “allah” do not have a Son.  For Muslims it is all about the moon “god” of Mecca.  When we see the Pope pray towards Mecca, it is a bona fide proof of the Pope’s submission to Islam.

How can the Pope do this?
The Pope also reject that the Jewish Messiah has come in the flesh. The Vatican claim that both the father and mother of their “Christ” are divine beings. The mother of “Christ” is a sinless Roman pagan goddess, the Queen of Heaven. Since this “Christ” of Rome has no human parent, he has not come in the flesh.
Few people will worship Him in spirit and in truth. When he returns, only a remnant of God will still obey Him.

 Luke 18:8
I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?
The Christ of Rome is not the Son of Man. He is a copy-cat, one of the most dangerous antichrists. These few verses from the Bible exposes the anti-christ’s among us.

 1 John 4:2
This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God.
  2 John 1:7

I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist.

Anti-christ’s of different kinds will eventually join hands, and create a new universal (Catholic) brotherhood of “peace”. They have all accepted a spirit that is not from God of the Bible, but a counterfeit spirit. The worst of them all, is the Roman Catholic claimed to be “holy spirit”. This spirit leads the catholics into blasphemy against God of the Bible, in the name of “Christ”. They are led into sin and blasphemy against the true Holy Spirit, a mortal sin that can never be forgiven.

” but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.”

The Bible explains that people who mock God in the name of “Christ” will never be lead into repentance. When they face trouble they rather curse God, and continue to worship their idols. It is truly a pitfull state of existence, children being cursed by their parents from birth. Millions of Catholics have been rebuked and told the truth, but are neither willing, nor able to understand and repent.

Revelation 9:20
The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk.

May Jesus the Messiah have mercy on all these souls, the Pope leads towards the eternal fire of Hell. May someone preach boldly to them, and snatch some of them out of the fire. Amen.

The harlot return to mother

Behind the walking staff with two serpents, the Pope and Patriarch Bartholomew pray for full union.

In a prayer gathering on the second day of Pope Francis’ visit to Turkey, Patriarch Bartholomew I welcomed him with joy, saying his presence is a symbolic “bridging” of the East and West.
“May these holy fathers, on whose teaching our common faith of the first millennium was founded, intercede for us to the Lord so that we may rediscover the full union of our Churches, thereby fulfilling His divine will in crucial times for humanity and the world,” Patriarch Bartholomew I said on Nov. 29.
Directed toward Pope Francis, the speech took place during an ecumenical prayer gathering held at the Orthodox cathedral of St. George in Istanbul, after which the Pope and the Patriarch held a private meeting.
Patriarch Bartholomew welcomed the Pope with “joy, honor and gratitude because you have deemed it proper to direct your steps from the Old Rome to the New Rome, symbolically bridging the West and the East through this movement.”
Pope Francis’ visit, the first since his election to the “throne that ‘presides in love,’” serves as a continuation of his predecessors, Bl. Paul VI, St. John Paul II and retired pontiff Benedict XVI, the patriarch observed.
He told the Pope that his visit “also bears witness to your own will and that of the most holy Church of Rome to maintain the fraternal and stable advance with the Orthodox Church for the restoration of full communion between our Churches.”
The patriarch cited the Pope’s arrival as a historical moment marked with “satisfaction and appreciation,” and noted how throughout time the cathedral has been and still is served by strong ecclesiastical figures who have “brightened” it alongside the many fathers of the universal Church.

My comment:
I like this picture. Two men promise to set their differences aside, and walk in unity. One claim to be the “Holy Father”. The other walk around with a staff displaying that two serpents will be attacking the Earth.
The Bishop of Rome claim that Martin Luther created discord and division during the reformation. The truth is that Luther and the Church reformers took the Church out of darkness, when they rediscovered the Biblical evangelical faith in Jesus the Messiah.  Hundreds of thousands of Germans accepted that a man can only be saved by Jesus, alone. And that the scripture, alone, is the Highest authority in all matters related to the Christian faith. Outside of these two doctrines, there can be no unity among people who claim to know and love “Christ”.  People who claim otherwise sow discord, and accept the not Biblical dogmas of the Papacy.
For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.
Anyhow: Why blame Luther? The Roman Catholic Church and the Greek Byzantine Orthodox Church had already split apart in division and discord 500 years earlier. One of the issues where who should be the head of the Church?  A Bishop based in Italy, or a Bishop based in Constantinople? The second issue was the worship of Roman Catholic idols. The Church of the East refused to accepted the pope’s list of “saints”, and banned the production of sculptures of these men.  The “Catholics” of the East made their own list of “saints”, and only worshiped paintings and images of these mortal men.
Both of these religious practices have its origin in Babylon, the global epiccenter of paganizm. All spiritual Babylonians will eventually unite.
And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
As we approach the age of serpent rule on Earth, Rome and todays Constantinople, the city of Istanbul, will again walk in unity.  The book of Revelation explain that the harlots will return to their mother Church. Since all of them came out of Rome, they will also return to Rome. The Italian capital host the Vatican statehood, mystery Babylon that will be destroyed during the second coming of the Messiah.
For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.”
Repent or perish.
